Okasan Ramen: what do users think?
Cristy Ayala: It was our 1st time here as soon as we walked in we were greated with a smile super nice and polite their Drinks are amazing! Same with the Ramen amazing!
Stephen Getz: Glad this place is open again!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Danielle Y: Ramen and bubble tea was good! Staff was very nice and love the K-pop music playing in the background. I will definitely be returning.
Ethan Davis: The food came out fast and was very tasty. Great service and very friendly.
Marcus Newton: The most authentic Japanese ramen in the area! Also, it's the best place to get bobba tea as well because it's super fresh! Staff was nice but they did have not a many people on staff but I looked past it. I definitely recommend it!Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Miso Ramen …More
Sean Turner: It's been years since I've been to a Ramen shop. The last time I was in an actual Ramen Shop, it was when I was stationed in Okinawa. This was very reminiscent of that experience. I had the Tokatsu Ramen and the Takoyaki. The texture of the noodles was awesome. The broth was flavorful. The pork was so tender, I could chew it between my tongue and the roof of my mouth. Each takoyaki ball was filled with octopus. There was no skimping on that. I had a great experience overall. For dessert, I had the Taiyaki with Red Bean Paste. I didn't get a chance to take a photo of that because that was gone before I had a chance to do so.My family's experience was a little mixed. My wife had the chicken teriyaki bowl. The chicken wasn't as tender as the 4th. I had somewhat of a rubbery texture. Even though the texture of the chicken was a little off, the flavor was great. Also, the broccoli was a little too raw for her taste. My son had the Chicken Shoyu Ramen. Again, with the chicken, the texture was a little rubbery. But the flavor of the broth and the texture of the noodles was spot on. It reminded me of all those years ago when I was in Okinawa. I gave it four stars, only because of the texture of the chicken, and the rawness of broccoli. We will definitely be coming back. There was so much more on the menu that I wanted to try. Great job, Okasan!
Samantha Wamsley: This small and unassuming place blew both me and my boyfriend's minds!Soon as you walk in, the large window at the front and clean modern look make it feel immediately comfy. You order off the menu at the counter before you sit down, so make sure to look over the menu before you go your first time for brevity, they display it online. The place is very clean and well organized, and the staff is so so kind and helpful. 3 We got our food insanely fast, and all of it was really tasty and authentic, which made a huge difference for me because after visiting Japan for months, I became a bit of a prude with Asian food once I got back to the states. LOLTo top our meal off, the waitress even came over with a plate of their honey plum sweet potatoes on the house, which was just the icing on the cake. This place is a great casual dining joint, and doesn't kill your wallet for the quality of food you get.12/10Wheelchair accessibility: There's a big open space with movable tables, so it is very wheelchair friendly. Although I am not sure about a sidewalk ramp outside.
Jes V: Amazing food and service! So excited to see that Okasan is open again!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Tonkotsu Ramen …More
Jes: I'm so glad Okasan is open again! The food was awesome as always and the tea I ordered was light, sweet and so refreshing. The new logo is also really cute. Will definitely be coming back!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Miranda Rivera: I have been trying to try this place out for so long and the website states they are open. Every. Single. Time. I show up to this place it is never open. I am done trying to support this business because clearly they do not want any business.
Mimi Tashmia: We quite like this new place , don’t know why this is closed ! Their chicken rice bowl was great , I also tried chicken katsudon but I didn’t find that much interesting. They served quick with smiling face . I hope they will come back soon .
WhiteFangofDAWN: Wonderful menu, great food wonderful service a little bit of a wait but well worth the food.
Christopher Nicodemus: They need up update the hours on Google. Just drove 45 minutes to find they are closed.
Scott and Cynthia Colegrove: Stopped by after college visit with my daughter and it was delicious. Friendly service. Fast. Hot. My daughter hasn't stopped raving about it. Wish there was one near our home.
liv initup: Eating at Okasan felt like being cradled by a loving god. Never in my life has any meal rejuvenated my soul in such a complete and perfect way. If I could give 6 stars I would. The only place in town I will ever get ramen again. I’m still basking in the afterglow. Thank you. I am healed.
Bradford Jordan: If you're in the mood for ramen then this is a good spot to try out. Service was great and the restaurant was clean. The Tonkatsu ramen is delicious, but I'm not sure it's entirely worth ~$15.00. The dine-in experience is good. It can feel a little cramped even when there aren't many people there. But overall, dining-in is simple and quick. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for some good ramen and willing to pay the price for it.
paula stone: We just tried Okasan last night and we were not disappointed. This place is amazing!!! This will definitely be one of our favorite places to eat in south bend. If you want incredible Raman this is the place!
Salvador Hernandez: Food was amazing, first time trying a ramen restaurant and it did not disappoint. Serves was great and staff was very friendly and helpful.
Jacob Graudin: Excellent ramen, boba tea, and bao—and reasonably priced to boot. Give it a shot—you won’t be disappointed!
Vahellish: Staff was polite and food was delicious and arrived quickly. This was my first time experiencing ramen and takoyaki and it was a wonderful experience. Went here with my father who's never really tried Japanese food outside of snacks. He enjoyed the experience himself and even managed to try boba.If they bring up the strawberry roll- do yourself a favor and get it!!! It was incredible! Soft and delicate and didn't regret trying it. 5/5 stars.
Eric Pomeroy: Absolutely loved it all, I am by no means an ramen expert, but I loved every bite. It all worked together so well. Will definitely come back to try some more dishes.

Hoang Bracken: I am not sure who would give this place 5 stars for pho but the pho is mediocre. Broth is super dark and not buildable. They didn’t give me the proper accoutrements and looked at me funny when I asked. Their other dishes are not bad and the fried rice is pretty good. Not a hit if you want traditional Vietnamese but def a place for Americanized Asian cuisine. Service was so so
Jenny Piontek: The food was great! Ordered through DoorDash and did not receive the 2 Thai iced teas! 3.95x2!!!
Camille Clayton: The Thai fried rice is absolutely fabulous. There are tons of vegetarian options which is great!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Fried Gyoza Dumplings …More

James Payne: Loved the food. Pho was delicious.Recommended dishes Beef Pho, Fried Gyoza Dumplings …More
Lindsey “Linji” Mark: Food was great and the service was friendly, albeit very slow.Usually pho places have the service down to an efficient science. This place would deliver food before silverware. Seemed like they were short staffed. I'd definitely come back but would need to be when I had time to wait.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options with good labeling indicated on menus.
Mimi Tashmia: Went there last Friday & had Vietnamese lemongrass Coconut chicken with rice . They served quickly , food was good . Had one dessert made of ground cinnamon & bread , it was lit .Definitely coming back . ☺️Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options
melissa moore: I recently went here with a group of friends and had a great experience. The wait time for food was a little long, which is understandable considering we had a big group and ordered everything together but then paid separately. They were very gracious is working things out for us. Also, I loved the amount of vegan items. They had a lot of items on the menu that were specifically marked as being vegan friendly. All you had to do was say "I would like the vegan xxxx." They had some dishes not marked as vegan that could be made vegan as well, if I am remembering correctly. I hope to go back to this restaurant again soon.Vegetarian options: They had a lot of vegetarian options listed on the menu.Dietary restrictions: They had a lot of vegan options clearly listed on the menu.

Kathy Marchand: Portions are HUGE. Service was fabulous!! And this food was 5 STARS. Hands down..the best spring rolls that I've ever had! We were both incredibly impressed with the food and service! Thank you!!
Dominique Anderson: Food wasn't as expected waitresses didn't get the order correct Ramen tasted like Top Ramen noodles from the storeFood: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More

Gabby Wright: Been here twice now, both times had a great experience. The vegan ramen is the best of the best!

Ricardo Peres-da-Silva: Recommended dishes Curry, Cre-Asian Bowl, Fried Rice, PhoMore
Marian Newie: Love the food most of the time. There was only one order when i didnt like the pork, seemed dry and not juicy. But other than that, great food. Been ordering from them dine in/take out for years.Wish the staff are more welcoming, but I understand that they get too busy.
Elliot Lee: Like the variety, the good service and the fresh food
Xianyu Pan: Food: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Camilo Velasquez: We have been going there for a while, their food is great and their service is terrible. A couple of days ago, my wife and I went to eat there and order food for lunch and also ordered an item from the kid's menu to go as lunch for our daughter who was still at school. We were told that they only sell from the kid's menu if the kid is sitting at the table. They rather see us leave their restaurant without eating than selling a to go Honey Chicken for our daughter. We will not be going back there.
Wesley Hedden: Pleasant dining experience. Lively atmosphere when we went. Wide range of food options from across Asia. Good frozen boba.
Mark Luger: We have always enjoyed the Asian foods at Cre-Asian since we found the restaurant about 6 years ago. The menu is extensive and at first, we were overwhelmed by the wide and somewhat unfamiliar selection of items on their menu. We were familiar with some of the dishes, but not all of them. We've found the best thing to do is ask the staff for suggestions. They are knowledgeable and very helpful. If you enjoy Asian foods at very reasonable prices in a sit-down restaurant, I believe you would welcome trying this spot!
LeeAnn Lugo: Service was good.Food was amazing. Better then bowl of pho by faaaaaaar.Higher class, better pricing, quiter and definitely warmer and soooo much cleaner then bowl of pho
Randy Lugo: Very cozy location. Food is just too great to describe. For sure coming again.
Stephanie: Delicious food! My favorites are the drunken noodles, chicken satay and banana liquid boba!! Such nice people and great service!
Roberto C. Santos: tasty and great attentive service but parking is always a challenge

Chelse Bailey: Great first time experience! My server was kind and made a recommendation I loved! Will be back 😊 pretty sure I want to taste the whole menu 🤤
collin mcgann: Walked in and stood there for 10 minutes despite numerous empty tables. Multiple waitresses walked by, conversed at length with other customers and didn’t even acknowledge our presence. I asked one of the waitresses if we were supposed to wait to be seated like the sign indicated, and she rudely told me to go back and wait by the sign and they’d seat us when ready. I understand being busy, but at least acknowledge the presence of your customers and tell them you’ll be with them momentarily rather than completely ignoring them.
Danial Groll: Broth was delicious, meat cut perfectly for it to cook to perfection. Noodles were tender and complimented the pho beautifully along with the bean sprouts, onions, and many other veggies I can't remember. Would recommend in a heartbeat and will be returning for more. And be sure to come hungry, the serving size is huge. Wait staff was exceptional to boot.
Aleks Fick: best pho in the area
Dani: Come here often, always great food and friendly staff (:
LeeAnn Lugo: Walked in on a wednesday, not busy at all. My husband and i with our 3 yr old were sat right next to the kitchen, every server made eye contact with me, we saw 3 people get sat with their orders taken and the servers still not coming to take our order, nor did they even apologize for making us wait. After waiting over 10 minutes still no one came to take our order. So we got up and left and they acted surprised. When the server started walking around looking for things to do thats when i knew we were not going to get our order taken. This place has gone down hill quickly and this is not the first time this has happened. Not kid friendly either. No outside food can be brought in.
Anthony Di Bari: Food portion was very good. Taste was great. Will be going backFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Keith: It is a little place but the food is excellent! I love their pho!! You can’t go wrong eating here.
William Franklin: This is a great place to get great food. I drive out of my way to get the pho here.My partner and I usually spend about 40usd between the two of us each getting a VERY filling bowl of pho and a taro bubble tea.Kid-friendliness: Didn't notice if they have a kid menu, but every time I've gone in there are kids present. Not sure if they have hi chairs or not, so you might want to call ahead.Parking: The parking aisle closest to this place is weirdly angled. I ushally go a row or two further and it's easier to get into and leave.Wheelchair accessibility: Interior of the restaurant can be accessed. Door isn't automated though, so a hand with that is needed. Not a lot of handicap only parking in proximity though. Not the most accessible, but not too bad for a manual wheelchair.
Gabby Wright: I have been here a few times and enjoyed the food I ordered. They have good bubble tea!
