Crooked Ewe Brewery & Ale House: what do users think?
Josh Scheibelhut: In my opinion, starting with their beer selection, they are one of the top craft brewers in the Michiana area. They have a great selection and every beer is balanced and delicious. The food here is also terrific. Portions are plentiful and the the price is reasonable. I've had several meals here and they've all been excellent.Whether you come here for food, drinks or both, you won't be disappointed!
Ryan Cradick: Good location. Food looked great. Beer... OK.
Dylan Leonard: Super friendly staff, would highly recommend. Fried chicken sandwich was delicious and came with a lot of tasty fries.
nathan nowicki: Fantastic place and friendly people who care about what they do. The food and beer were absolutely delicious. The bar tender was amazing! She knows her stuff! Ate a late dinner. Ordered the Smoke plate and it's enough for two people!
Darrel Miller: The food there was awesome everything was so nice and write it came out really fast the cooks back there know exactly what they're doing I would recommend this place to anybody that I know keep up the good job
Vincent Aguirre: Service was great but the food wasn't very good. Tacos were bland and poke bowl left much to be desired. Tres leches was not even close to what I would expect.
Krista Bane: It was really good! Big portions! As great as our town's gastropub.
jamie clark: Not the same. My wife and I are Crooked Union members and have been for several years. The food used to be top notch and you could tell that there was a lot of love put into the menu. Over the last year the menu has changed and so has the beer. We stopped last Thursday to get a Growler of Turtle Tamer, which is our favorite, and it was not right. It was not the same Turtle Tamer we have grown to love over the years. We will not be renewing our Crooked union membership. Sorry guys, I don't know what happened.
Ronda B: Everything we ate and drank was absolutely amazing. Outstanding.
Jarrod Carr: The food and beer were fantastic and the service was fast! It was a great place, definitely going to be going back!
George Nikokiris: The location and atmosphere are terrific. The outdoor seating is so cool. You really get the industrial Midwest vibe here. The music selection is awesome. I found the beers to be hit and miss. The best beer is hands down the Turtle IPA but the others are quite underwhelming. Beers like the Creme Ale and Monday IPA are so light and lacking any imagination. The food, we didn't try but we did see other peoples' plates and it did not look that appealing TBH. But I am grateful they exist.
Jen Hopper: Great atmosphere, great beer, appreciate the vegan options! We had family in town and this place checked all the boxes. The staff were wonderful, too.
BuxterJones: Best food in the Michiana area. Do not miss an opportunity to eat here, whether passing through or looking for a new place to dine local. You will not find better food anywhere else. (Got to get there early to get their pastrami)
Scott Kretchmer: Smoke platter was so not worth it. D craft beer is your thing then this is your place. I’m out
colt harrison: Definitely one of the better spots for food in the area
Jerome Farnan: Some southern fare combined with on site brewery makes for a good outing.
Jerry Roberts: Great food and Service.
Kathy Boudreaux: Majestic 12 beer is delicious. Kimchi rice was also very good. Great place!
Andrew Ward: Pastrami sandwich was very large and good!
B. Astorga: Had the Monday pale ale and the sirloin & brisket burger. Burger was delicious; came with a large portion of fries. Monday pale ale was a refreshing ale with fruit/ citrus flavor. Easy to drink. Next to the river which was nice on a temperate fall day.
David Riggs: Nice change of pace !.. Crooked Ewe is clean, staff friendly & energetic, even during this low staff times, service was just fine. Food was very good. Wine was pricey for a glass and no chardonnay oddly, but that would be my only suggestion to remedy. Along the river makes sitting at the bar and looking out relaxing. I highly recommend & will return

Bare Hands Brewery: what do users think?
Jerry Roberts: Great beer
Jeff Clark: One of the best breweries in the area. Very creative brews!
joey pelgro: This was an awesome spot. We came for the ND BC game and walked over from our rv spot, and met some of the nicest people we’d seen yet. This place was a lot better than the college bars in downtown south bend, much better vibes still keeping that rowdy potential. We absolutely loved it not just the atmosphere but the beer was amazing. Tori and Katelyn served us for the night and they were the best, so nice, great conversation with good beer. We can’t really enjoyed the company, the beer and our time there at bare hands in south bend. 10/10 go again.
John Curran: Absolute must stop. Tori and Katelyn were the best! We came all the way from Massachusetts and was the best beer we’ve ever had.
Warren Williams: Very friendly, lots of different beers, very homey.
George Nikokiris: What a gem! Amazing artisan brews with amazing sophistication of some of the top microbrews. They really have some outstanding combos. They use the thai style and I got a habanero peanute butter IPA and it was outstanding! This place is on par with the top tier brewaries in Chicago. ROCK SOLID!
Scott Saladine: Nice brew pub. Homey good selection of brews menu looks great. Nice staff knowledgeable on brewing and tasting notes.
Mike M: Great beer and great service!
Michael Twyford: Nice little brewery, their beers were fresh and the seating outside was nice!
Bryan Ellis: Great beer and great service. Dog friendly with an awesome patio space.
Steven Van Elk: Bare hands brewery is a great brewery and a great place to hang out. Their beer cheese is phenomenal and a fantastic compliment to their beer. The music selection that is played while you try beers is phenomenal, especially if you like older rock music. The staff is incredibly kind. The whole place feels like hanging out at a friend's house, and I mean that in the best way possible. It's relaxing, comfortable, and charming. Visit, enjoy, and bring a growler home.
Jessica Blumberg: Super cute dog friendly brewery! They were all so nice to our pups and the beer was fantastic!
Ashton Glod: The staff are super friendly here and the whole place feels like a homey small town pub where people actually know each other and are willing to talk with strangers to welcome them.Oh yeah, and the beer is good enough to make you salivate!
Robb Cummins: If you love craft beer it's a must stop.. especially if you like those cloudys
Zak Emmons: Unassuming little spot. Great selection and variety of beer. Good simple eats. I always have a good time here.
Allison Richmond: Dog-friendly taproom! Close to I90, with decent food options. Bookmarked for our next road-trip 🐶
Cade Festavan: Great beer.Good people.Nice place.
Brian Vandygriff: Very nice place. Small and cozy. Great place to go and get some different types of beer. Staff was outstanding. Everyone there was very helpful. I had a lot of questions and they took the time to answer them. I will be back.
jim chaffee: Best beer around here!!!
Emily Pedzinski: Update: they have more food now, the curry is okay but honestly I know they can do better on the food. I would pay more for the same quality they used to have. Beer is amazing as always tho.So sad! This was one of my favorite places to go for food and drinks a couple times a month. Now all they have are paninis and egg rolls 😔 sad to have to find a new hangout spot now...
Kyle Duncan: Bring the tacos back! And chicken sandwiches, I want more than egg rolls lol. Can’t believe U got rid of um, crazy, egg rolls 3 stars/ tacos 5 star! 😢 beer is awesome always something new to try.
