Aladdin's Eatery Mishawaka: what do users think?
Jeremiah Triston Hicks: Food was ok, service was very bad. You need to greet, gets drinks, and table touch like a professional or people won’t come back. It’s ok when the kitchen takes a while if the service is good but this was bad.Recommended dishes Vegetarian Combo, Jasmine's Favorite with Beef Shawarma, Falafel Hummus Roll …More
IB JayB: The lamb salad and sfiha is amazing!! I love this place!Recommended dishes Mediterranean Lamb Plate, Cranberry Walnut Salad with Feta and Chicken …More
Jennifer Erin: Talk about great customer service. Our waitress went above and beyond. The food was amazing! Wasn’t really a fan of the pita bread by itself, though. Maybe it was healthier? But the Pita Pizza was something I’d go back and order again. Loved the variety of salads.
Heidi Baker: Very yummyFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chloe Barker: 10/10! My husband and I really enjoyed the food, they offer larger vegan and vegetarian options than most places we’ve been to, as well as meat options too! The food is inexpensive and everything was delicious! We split an appetizer and he got the pitza while I got the falafel roll. We couldn’t even eat everything and left feeling comfortably full. The atmosphere was quiet, even though there was a larger group near us. We had an excellent time there.I would absolutely recommend this place. They also had tasty-looking desserts, but we were too full to try any. Next time!

Molly Archer: Not bad, but not the best. With limited Mediterranean options in the area though, this place works when you want this particular type of food.
Sandra Brook: Literally my favorite restaurant. 🖤 I won't get falafel or baba ganoush anywhere else.Vegetarian options: Almost everything I get is vegetarian or vegan; baba ganoush, hummus, rolls, salads, ✨falafel 🥙 rice dishes, etc. It's all so delicious and I feel really good afterwards.Kid-friendliness: They are so kind, clean, and understanding. I don't feel guilty bringing my 4 kids here.
Stephanie Rucano: They forgot to fill my order with pita that was suppose to come with it. I called and they took my husbands name to pick up in his way home. When he got there they refused to give him the pita that was suppose to be in the bag initially. She said he didn’t have the receipt and that previous shift manager never told her. So then I went back a 3rd time and she was extremely rude. I then asked for full refund. She never offered to call previous shift manager and after she refunded my order asked me if I wanted to take what I ordered with pita. NOOOOO! I understand that it’s hard to get people to work, but the attitudes of some that do work isn’t worth their sense of entitlement!!!!
Tron Effect: It was pretty good.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Nicole M.: I love their new labeling for gluten free and vegan. The food is always deliciousDietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free marked well
Amber Whitney: The food quality here is lacking significantly. Which is a shame because I’ve eaten here before and it was really good. The roll-up we received (delivered thru dine in delivery) was a half doughy mess that fell apart almost immediately. There were 2-3 pieces of meat in the roll up. Apparently, that’s ok with Aladdin’s because dine in called on our behalf and management scoffed at remaking our food. Buyer beware also the baba ganoush only comes with one piece of bread to split 4 ways between you and other people. There was also an issue with one of our Pitzas, the dough didn’t have the right texture either. I Wouldn’t eat here again if you paid me to.
Sarah Hughes: THE best!!! We love Aladdin's! All the food! Anything you order is guaranteed to be delicious. The prices are good, atmosphere is great! Service is always good!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid-friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible. Husband uses a wheelchair and no issues
Rave McCarthy: I Had a pitza and it was delicious.
Carol Flora: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes V-Nine SoupMore
William Berdine: Mediterranean chain. Solid food. I got the Beef Shawarma Pitza , hummus, and loubie bzeit. Really like the pitza and loubie . The hummus was a bit thin for me. Pita were fresh. Atmosphere is very 90s Dennys which i found odd. Probably will be a carryout place for me.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Caleb Campbell: I have just recently been acquainted with this special little place near the mall. Aladdin's is one of my new favorites with dishes that are sure to please. You can find something for everyone here.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Kelly Gaylord: Really delicious Mediterranean food! There's a decent amount of variety and a lot of ability to customize your order. Only gave it 4 stars because they recently raised the prices, unfortunately.
Sandro Kenkadze: Nice place to take fast mediteranian food drinks and coffe
Carly Griffin: Best bang for your buck on campus. Healthy, large portions, and tasty! They even have gluten free pita bread!
Arthur Lim: Nice place for lunch. They have limited hours. Options are tasty and healthy.
J. hathaway: This place is normally very good, except when you order a salad with chicken and don't get the chicken.
Trevor Sperring: Really good food, bit of a wait but that was because it was so popular. Bit pricey
S. Sharif: What would I have for lunch everyday if tasty, fresh, reasonably-priced Garbanzo wasn’t there?

Elia's Mediterranean Cuisine: what do users think?
Sam Daru: Worst place ever. We waited for 15 minutes Friday evening just to be told that we require reservations. No signs at the reception nor their website.HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE AND HORRIBLE!!!Dine in: No Outdoor seating: No Takeout: No Delivery: No Curbside pickup: No …More
Chad Smith: One of my favorite places to go! You'd better go quickly though because they are closing soon.
Ziad El Ghoul: Veggie grap leaves 👍🏼Babaghannouj 👍🏼Mdardra 👎🏼Taboule it's okFalefil it's okNo Lebanese music or any music so 👎🏼No almaza 👎🏼No Lebanese wine 👎🏼Not the ideal place if you're craving authentic Lebanese food
Mansour Bey: I was here the other day. The ambiance is okay. The waitress(es) needs to pay better attention to the needs of their guests; they seem to pay more attention to online orders then to in-person customers. Their falafel is missing cumin and coriander, not authentic at all. Their kafta pieces are the smallest I've seen out of all Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurants. Their Basmati rice is way too mushy and is missing basic flavors, including salt! Their menu states they have fries (needed for kids), but then the waitress said, "We don't have fries here.." I also requested chicken shawarma, because their beef shawarma was marinated with wine (no Middle-Eastern restaurant marinates their meats with wine), what a blunder! At the end they stated, "We are out of chicken currently..." What restaurant runs out of chicken?!?! It's the cheapest meat of all! Anyway, this place is a watered-down version of a Lebanese joint. I don't recommend this place at all to anyone who knows what true and authentic Mediterranean/Middle Eastern tastes are like. On top of this, they are way too expensive. Save your money, go to one of Chicago's middle-eastern joints and eat like a king for half that price.
Emily Cronberger: Get the meat combo. You will not be disappointed!
Joseph Tychonievich: So good!! Had hummus and the vegetarian combo plate and everything was fantastic.
John Denver: Great place. Family owned.
Kate Irelan: Great authentic food, pleasant experience. They are requiring masks when moving around the restaurant, which is fine, but I forgot to bring one-- so they had some to offer. I enjoyed my visit and will return.
Brian McAllister: Absolutely fantastic food. Service was a weeeeee bit slow but they were personable and nice. Thanks for a good meal!
William Gilley: Great food an excellent service!
Tony Iadevaia: Excellent food great wine choices
Gertrude A.: Food was decent. I ordered the chicken shawarma w/ rice and garlic paste, the shish tawouk (chicken) w/ rice, baba ganoush, pickles, and tahini, the midardara (lentils and rice), meat grape leaves, and namoura cake.Chicken shawarma was not cooked like you typically see from shawarma. It did not have any of the nice smokey flavors you get from something cooked on a spit. It was also the consistency of just shredded chicken breast. No nice big chunks of chicken, and there did not appear to be any dark meat. The rice was good, typical rice and vermicelli blend. It was a little bland, but nothing a little baba ir garlic couldn't fix.The toum, garlic paste, was so good! You can definitely tell that it is made fresh and on site. It also tastes very traditional (and is not made w/ mayo). The shish tawouk also was missing the smokey/char flavor I want on something grilled. It appear to just be baked. The baba ganoush was extremely good! It was chunkier than I prefer, but that did not bother me. Honestly, the baba alone is worth the trip (especially with this being one of the only resturants in the area that serves it).The Mediterranean pickles were so good! It is pickled okra. I was expecting turnips. I asked the server if it were cucumbers or turnips when I ordered, and she just said "they are the normal Mediterranean pickles." So I expected turnips.I did not receive the tahini sauce. The midardara was recommended by the server. It was amazing! Very savory and meaty flavor. Very good texture on the lentils. The meat grape leaves were ok. They tasted very good, but the texture was very mealy.I did not receive the namoura cakes. They are currently take out only. So I recommend checking all your boxes before you drive away. If you have some favorites (shawarma, tawouk for me) I would definitely read reviews and take a look at the menu. I knew that the shawarma wouldn't be exactly what I wanted, but I was still disappointed when I got the pile of shredded chicken.
Ian Jones: Note: as of this writing they are currently carry out onlyThe falafel was okay, but the beef shawarma plate and baklava were really disappointing. The meat was not fresh and in fact was still cold on my plate. Maybe Chef Mic needed to heat it up for 30 more seconds?
Whitney Hancock: Shish Tawouk is amazing! Baklava is delicious too.
Oppressed Exploited: It is with great sadness and disappointment I give this restaurant one star, but if I could give them 0 stars I would.Ironically my Irish ex husband introduced me to this restaurant 20 years ago when it was still a hole in the wall near Cheers in Roseland. Never before had I tried Falafel, Tabouli, Hummus, etc. The cuisine was exceptional. Then in 2015, I met my biological father after 20 years of searching. It was no easy feat, since mine was a closed adoption. I traveled to Amman, stayed in Jabal Al Hussein, and I ate REAL falafel, hummus, and Shawarma.Tonight, I ordered a carry out from Elia's. This was the first time I had eaten here in about 15 years as I just moved back into town from Elkhart and I didn't make my way out here much when I lived there. I longed to taste that indescribable flavor of my favorite dish again. It was a total disgrace! The chicken only whispered the faintest hint of Shawarma. It was dry and bland. One of the carry out containers FELL APART in the bag. I had to dump my son's food into the lid of the container from the plastic bag.The hummus was better, but really if I wanted hummus and pita bread to be the highlight of a meal I would buy some at the grocery store. If this restaurant is still owned by the same lady, it might do her some good to travel back to the Old Country and remember what the food is supposed to taste like. And naturally since it's my favorite dish, I ordered it for my children and my guest as well. $70 and I'm thoroughly disappointed. I will never eat that garbage again.Perhaps Americans don't know any better - so here's a tip:Private Selection makes a Shawarma flavored chicken breast that brought tears to my eyes from nostalgia of my time spent in Jordan. 🇯🇴It will cost you less to purchase this and make it yourself, and SADLY it tastes 1000x better than the garbage they tried to pass off at Elia's.I don't think it's a matter of me being "spoiled" by having had the "real thing" because not too long after my stay in Jordan I had Shawarma at a restaurant in Vienna and it was just as delicious as it had been in Amman. I even liked the aforementioned Private Selection breasts although Kroger seems to have stopped carrying that flavor locally, more than likely due to a lack of demand... And I've had falafel and hummus that at least come close to what I had in Jordan.I've also considered that it is possible that this was just a fluke. Perhaps it was a bad night... But after wasting $70 on a dinner nobody ate, I'm not willing to spend more money to find out.
Ian Smith: Always a favorite for our family. Wonderful food, service, and family.
Kaitlyn Dow: The shish tawouk, midardara, pita bread, and garlic paste are so delicious! The owner was so kind and the customer service was amazing. The portions are so big that I have enough left over to eat for dinner tonight! I will definitely be visiting Elia’s again soon!
Lindsey Shepherd: My husband and I found this while out of town visiting family. It was fabulous. We recommended it to all our family that lives nearby. I had the falafel sandwich and my husband had the chicken shawarma bowl. Everything was great. The garlic paste and sauces were fantastic. The baklava is probably the best I’ve had anywhere. The lady that helped us (sorry I didn’t get her name) was very nice and very conscientious about disinfecting during the COVID pandemic. Made this pregnant lady’s day!
Jill Switzer: Fantastic food! Best falafel we've had in years!
Ida Mainer: Food was very. Food was delicious😋
Hanai Atee: Falafel is my favorite sandwich. But is just for lunch!
