Despite “only” a curb from parking lot to entrance, no attempt has been made to construct a ramp. Unable to access the store in my chair, therefore I won’t be visiting this location.

Though Ray was professional, i.e., he wasn't lazy or exceptionally rude rude, he just seemed uninterested in a customer-service oriented approach, making me feel like I was bothering him.. There were three or four times where I almost walked out of the store, but I'd spent weeks deciding on a paint color from one of their lines. He seemed a bit impatient when I didn't grasp the paint finishes, i.e., the differences between matte, flat, etc. Newsflash: I don't work in paint or I wouldn't have had questions.The transaction was awkward and stilted, which would have been more or less a non-event, I guess, except that I bought too little paint (partially on his advice, but I stand to blame, in part). As soon as I got home, the painter told me I hadn't bought enough, and that it really wasn't enough to cover the 75 to 100 square feet Ray said it would cover. To be fair, Ray did grab some swatches and suggested a darker color than I had originally wanted. He was right--it looked a lot better and was much closer to my inspiration picture. Perhaps this is just his demeanor. I certainly don't think he was purposely treating me poorly.I called back right away, thinking perhaps they could pour it into a bigger can (like they do elsewhere, in the interest of, you know, customer retention and loyalty) or at least work with me--the can was not even opened. Unapologetically and unsurprisingly flatly, Ray told me they couldn't help in any way. I found this odd in 2020, in a competitive market where businesses struggle to retain customers. SW sells itself, but there are other locations.I'd really had enough at that point and decided to stop in at another location where I was relieved to receive above-average customer service, and help with the issue of having purchased an insufficient amount for the job. At that point, average would have been a vast improvement over the service received here. So, while the other store may have taken a bit of a loss by offering me a discount, I will definitely be back there (I'm renovating a whole house). It's simple math and analysis of customer loyalty. This isn't Walmart where customers are only looking for the bottom dollar. I want quality and good service.Even though the Nimtz parkway store is near my house, I will not return.

Catherine Bronson: Eric is the man! If you are buying SW paint, buy from this store.I was advised that SW paint is the best, hands down. I was told that it covers better, and your painter will need a lot less than with other brands. All very true. But my experience with the place on Nimtz parkway was enough to want to make me go back to Benjamin Moore. I only persisted because I'd already started the project, and I didn't want to have a slightly off color.I knew I would have to go back. On a whim, I stopped at the store on Ireland road. Eric, and the female associate were completely friendly and helped correct the less-than-stellar situation I'd encountered at the other location. Their service was 100 percent. I will be recommending this store to the local groups I'm in.
