Kodiak Firing Range & Training Facility, Inc: what do users think?
Xianyu Pan: decent
John Monnin: Great people and a great place to shoot. I love that they have a lot ( over 50) guns to rent. The classes are excellent too, we learned a lot. wife and I have been shooting together every Saturday for months. My only concern is that when every lane is taken the ventilation system seems to not be able to keep up. Fortunately it is rare that all the lanes are taken
Aspen: A good range with friendly staff. My only complaint is that the pully system that holds the paper targets wobbles side-to-side as they go forward and backwards. This means I have to wait a while for the target to stop moving.
Buckshot H: My wife and I took the basic handgun Class. Very through and my wife was really impressed. We purchased our hand guns there and plan on using the range frequently.
GuitarGuy 44: Terrible people working the range. Very rude and not worth going to. Got upset for putting my unloaded weapon in its case to store while I switch. There is not enough room to put my rifle case on the counter like the guy asked, so I did it behind me. If you want a procedure to be followed maybe make it possible for your customers. Will not be coming back to that range. If I could give you zero stars I definitely would.
Ty Smith: Was a great experience and great time everyone was great to deal with and lots of help. Was still respected with my lack of knowledge
Michael Stockdale: OK place to shoot. I really miss Midwest gun and range in Elkhart.
Laura Westlund: Had a great time… staff was super nice …will definitely go again!
Adriane Arnold: I recently took the Women's Defensive Handgun 1 and 2 courses offered at Kodiak and I was beyond impressed! John, Rose, and Jess took the time to train us on everything from basic gun function, universal gun safety rules, drawing from a holster, loading a magazine, general gun laws, and more. I had literally never fired a handgun in my life and they made me feel comfortable and confident. The repetition of skills needed to be safe allowed me to try something that I never thought I would be able to do. I plan on coming back for more training, to purchase our next firearms, and to use the range. If you want to learn how to safely use a firearm in a supportive environment, then Kodiak is the place to do it.
Rickey Haynes: If there was another gun range around I would go there first the people here are very rude this is my second time and there will not be another.
reflectionsbydon: Great place to shoot..... staff is very helpful.....
Tony Husted: This is an additional review after making a large purchase from them. They are highly knowledgeable, they took the time to really go through the options with me, and most importantly they kept answering my email questions even several days after my purchase. Went in to use the range, and was welcomed like an old friend. Thanks to Will and Jon. Excellent service!
Michael Hartzell: I was hesitant to go there because of the negative reviews but since I can't shoot my 9mm or 12 gauge anywhere legally I decided to try it out.First off, I have shot a revolver before and a 22 rifle but both of those were 19 years ago. I talked to a person on the phone and found out the cost (15$ for 1 lane for an hour ). When I walked into the business I was not a smart butt but asked questions since I was in unfamiliar territory. The middle aged man explained what to fill out, if I needed targets and if I needed ammo. I brought my own ammo since I was just using my own gun. He wasn't rude, and explained what lane I was shooting at and how to get there.I came back with my grandson the following week and the same man was there. There was an extra cost with someone else shooting which I had no idea ( never asked). The same man came in the range area because he saw I moved the gun from the shooting area to the back table which was a no no. I was attempting to adjust the sights ( it was empty ). He so do not move it to the back table and I explained that I was shooting off. He told me how I could solve the issue. Again, he was nice and helpful. Upon leaving, I again thanked him ( can't be TOO nice ) and he responded no problem. We plan on returning next week to see how my shotgun shoots.
Amanda Morgan: Ima have to agree with previous reviews. They dont like black people.I went here with my 11yr old son back in August. I know nothing about guns and have never even handled one. I wanted a bonding experience with my son and also I wanted him educated on how to handle a gun for safety reasons. We went and I paid for a private lesson. We had no issues. I wasn't intoxicated.my son was behaved and we had no issues. I thought everyone was nice.Fast forward a few weeks, they have ghosted me. I called a dozen times and sent about 4 emails. I kept getting told he would get back to me but no one has. Completely gaslight me for a over month. They sure returned calls and emails within a day or 2 before. I was able to schedule in 1 email....now that I went in and they see a young black boy. NOPE!I didn't want to believe it(I read reviews AFTER being ignored) but-i mean.....why else?
Jacob Jenkins: I have enjoyed coming here for the past 5 years. Yes they have rules, but I can assure you that following the rules will guarantee you have a pleasant experience. If you do get pulled aside by an employee, don't take it personally. They are just trying to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time at their range. You need hearing and eye protection to enter the range. They do have them available for rent, as well as a plethora of firearms to rent and shoot. They have targets for purchase as well as ammo.Whether you have all your own gear, or walk in with nothing, they will take care of you and make sure you have a good experience!
Fella “HANDZ” Tha_Barber: Black people not Welcome here discriminated against as soon as I walked through the door
Brian Reynolds: Good, conveniently located facility. Range prices are good, recently upgraded to allow some calibers of rifles. Ventilation much improved with good staff!
Robert U: Fantastic range for any pistol caliber rifle and handgun. Staff has been friendly and helpful. Good range for a low price.Update: They added rifle and shotgun lanes. (slugs) So I have absolutely no complaints. If you have a question DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK. Staff is helpful!
Marlon i8i8j5356tijju: Visited just today to purchase a early father's day gift to myself and the young lady that assisted me was very helpful and knowledgeable and friendly...Thanks Kodiak!!👍👍👍
DOUGLAS QUINTERO: Buena atención y precios.
Robert Smith: Me and my wife was there last week very nice and clean place customer service was outstanding

Deer Creek Hunt Club: what do users think?
Samantha Svetic: Was deciding to have a company outing here until the lady who answered the phone made a statement seemed as if the woman in our company do not equal up to the men when it comes to shooting there. More rules for the woman, and they would need to be supervised? Wasn't very polite about it so we decided to go somewhere else. Thanks anyway.
Mark S: Very friendly and relaxed club. The set up is nice where you get a card and pay per clay target you throw.
Eze- O: Awesome place! Well organized and designed to have a great time with friends. Also the burgers 🍔 are excellent.
Jason Hussey: Great variety of stations. Clean grounds. If you choose to to test your skills, beginner to expert, they will be tested.
Irwin Berg: New ownership has done a fantastic job making this club a world class facility.
Nodnarb J: A really nice location that can cover your needs for a price. Gets salty for the novice like myself but for the enthusiast I think you can't go wrong.
nick hewitt: What a pleasurable day and a excellent hunt! The staff was phenomenal, food was great, facilities were clean and the gun range was perfect. Looking forward to returning next year!
Alan Koch: I thoroughly enjoyed my pheasant hunt last Friday. My guide Charlie and his spaniels were all fantastic. The lodge is very cozy. Tammy, the receptionist, was great to work with. Also, a big thank you goes out to the gentleman who cleaned my birds. I highly recommend Deer Creek!
Eric Marinez: Great location, great property, great people
Reny Benyamin: Great place with friendly staff.
Ivan Fedore: Took a group out on Saturday morning. Most of us were fairly novice so we hired an instructor. Everyone had a great time and plans to head back in the future! Thanks!
Ola Thorell: Top notch!
Rick Knoll: Very nice facilities and fun time
William Jones: So glad I found this place! We have a cottage down the road in Three Oaks and noticed Deer Creek while driving past. Have come several time since then by myself and with friends and it’s great! Staff is very friendly and not over bearing like other gun shops/clubs. They have set rules and guidelines but don’t hover and preach them like you have no knowledge of safety. They have guns to rent but also let me bring my 20ga shotgun. Very nice setup and can’t wait to go back again!
Ethan Anderson: Staff are extremely nice and helpful. Facility is very nice and well kept. I will look foreword to going back for hunts and shooting clays in the future!
Austin Norton: Very expensive but extremely fun and challenging good to do with buddies
Nick Pecora: This is our new favorite hunt club! Very polite people from start to finish and lined up a pheasant hunt for us with a very experienced guide and dog. We shot some sporting clays before to get our aim on and that course was incredible! Check it out!
Bryan Finnegan: Deer Creek Hunt Club accommodated our group of 22 without any problems and were very responsive by email to answer questions when setting everything up. 6 groups shot sporting clays with carts and used quality Over/Under 12ga rentals that are well cared for. The clubhouse is a phone call away if a station is malfunctioning and it's easy to skip along and come back to it later. Looking forward to trying more of the stands on the next visit!
Zack Nottke: This was the funnest thing I have done in a while I'm 15 years old and was perfectly fine shooting 12 and 20 guages
Dennis Beardall: Always great fun shooting the sport clay courses!
Mr C: Had a great time with the sport clay course. There were easy and tough stands. We shot a few stands, Brought our lunch and ate in the club house then went back out to shoot again. If your looking for a good place to go with a few friends who love to shoot this is the place.

Elkhart Rifle and Pistol Club: what do users think?
James Keen: I've been a member for 3 years and love the freedom of shooting when I feel like it. I can shoot 24/7 at my gun club. Also taking my family with me makes shooting more pleasurable and it only cost me a dollar per family member that goes. Of course there is a 2 guest limit but that is OK.
