The South Bend Chocolate Company: what do users think?
Amy Wyngard: They do truly do have some amazing chocolate. We did the tour it was good, wouldn't suggest it with little kids but the samples were great. I wish they sold it in stores.
Kelly Seifried: Yum!
Sue Hanson: Had a great time & tasted a lot of goodies. We will be back. Lilly our tour guide was outstanding!
Robin Sheputis: This isn’t just for kids! As older adults we thoroughly enjoyed the Libby our tour guide. Chocolate is the best!
nicole hahaj: The best sandwich I’ve had in along time. They serve lunch on top of candy! Had no idea! And the panini was the best surprise ever. I expected a plain sandwich.
A.K. Weber: This place was a trip. We took the tour, it was disorganized and not well scripted. However there was a pile of wrapped up dinosaur bones they showed us in the back of a very dark warehouse. (Very willy wonka) They give out lots of samples which was nice. The chocolate was good. It's worth the stop if you are in town. Not worth a long drive.
Gary Romick: Great chocolate, the tour is very interesting, definitely worth it
Steven Lott: Chocolate and great customer service, thanks Mark for fulfilling your father's vision, Blessings!!
Stephanie Miller: The tour was informative, fun and included many samples
Ryan Robinson: I don't get over here as often as I'd like. So I stock up on essentials when I am here. So many great things here
Mark Kamp: Great chocolate milk best ever had
Yuleima Ortega: Bello lugar divinos chocolates y exelente almacén
Keith Bentzel: I enjoyed the tour and took some goodies with from the store.
Raimie Wheeler: Not only is the chocolate smell heavenly, but so are the discount prices. Imperfect chocolate still tastes great. 😋
Dana Adams: My family had a great time at the South Bend Chocolate Factory Tour. Libby was our tour guide and she was so personable and knowledgeable about the factory and any questions we had. We learned so much. We were impressed with how hands on the whole process is from start to finish. Plus the chocolate is pretty delicious too! We will be back to visit each time we visit South Bend. Thank you Libby!
Dave Frendreiss: The tour was very nice. We went on a Saturday though and the factory wasn't fully staffed. I would have liked to have seen the machines operating.
Rajneesh Armugham: Nice chocolate
Matthew Mcgrath: Wonderful chocolates. Staff were fantastic
Alison Grimm: Took a chocolate tour today and which it was very cool and got the sample pieces of chocolate
Jason Carozzi: Libby was a great tour guide, the tour was informative and fun. You got to see how some of the products were manufactured, and also got samples fresh from the factory production floor! It is definitely worth a stop. They also have a very large selection of specialty items available in the outlet store, with some really great sale prices!
I am Steve: My wife and I took our 3 grandchildren here for the tour. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and the tour is well worth the $5 price.Children under the age of 5 probably won't get a whole lot out of it but the samples help out. It's nice to see that some things are still done by hand and not everything is automated.Hand made chocolate does, however, come with a price. The outlet store is not cheap but the $5 tour ticket does come with a 10% discount on anything purchased the day of your tour.If you have 45 minutes to spare and you're in or around South Bend, Ind., stop by and take the tour. You may just learn something.

South Bend Chocolate Cafe: what do users think?
Jadyn Chiu: Ate lunch here with a friend of mine today. The two cashiers said that they were the only employees working today due to short staff which is understandable but they didn’t seem knowledgeable of what they serve. We ordered the ham sandwich with a side of pasta salad and the ham tasted like it was undercooked. Came home feeling sick which was possible that it was from the sandwich. Gross! Don’t recommend eating the food from here but I’ve always loved the hot chocolate, coffee, and ice cream!
Stacy Smith: Great place good surroundings
Mike Hull: A truly unique local business, they've got a bunch of different things all under one roof with the grill food, chocolate, coffee, pastries and ice cream. The sandwich, ice cream were all awesome.
Mike Meeks: Coffee was smooth.
Tom Risk: Definitely not open until 10 pm on a Friday night. We arrived at 9:40 pm, tried 3 different doors, and all were locked. Lights were on but no one was home.
Gabby Santaquilani: 5 staff and 4 customers I stood first in line at cheesecake register and was never served left after 20 minutes. Very disappointed. Staff at candy counter said I had to wait for for cheesecake cashier to return.
fran kovatch: The cafe in here has great food. It's refreshing to come here and eat as they have unique dishes that are made fresh when you order. My favorite so far is the chicken Philly sandwich, but I can vouch for the grilled cheese being fantastic too. My kids also love the indoor playground which is free to visit and a great way to kill an hour or so.
Anastasia Blum: I love going to this cafe, and especially bringing my out-of-town family and friends there. It's just a good vibe, and awesome hot chocolate and mochas.
Gwenevere Mueller: Visited at 2 PM on a Sunday for a birthday party. The cafe had double booked so one party was in the party room and the other party was next to the play place. The party room was pretty big and quiet but lacked extra seating. The play place area was loud. After the party, we walked around a bit and the place is very large with several different sections. There is a candy section, a chocolate section (fudge, individual chocolates, chocolate-covered pretzels), a coffee area, a bakery with cake and baked goods, and a grill with food. The cafe ladies weren't the friendliest but one young gentleman was helpful and walked us to the party area when we didn't know where to go. The women's bathroom was pretty clean but not kid friendly (tp very far from toilet and sink faucets far away). Parking wasn't an issue at all and it wasn't very busy. Not sure if I would return again to eat but perhaps for a slice of fudge or cake.
good fun: Great chocolate the place is huge
Tony Strand (West Coast Screen): They have everything
Beth Pennings: I waited at the counter for 20 minutes while someone was working behind the counter. Totally ignored me, and yes, she DID see me. Finally got someone from another counter to come and wait on me. Customer service is really bad. Atmosphere is great. The food is good too but if you get something from the bakery (eg. a piece of coconut cake) BE SURE to insist on getting a piece from the middle and not the end piece. I don't know how long it had been there but it was so dry I almost choked on it. Once I sliced off the edge (about $2.50 worth), the rest was great.
Katie Latimer: Sold me stale cake. It literally was as hard as a brick. Cheese cake was also old. The edges were hard. Never agin.
Kyle Burch: Fun welcoming place to get everything from a sandwich to a beer. Also they have chocolate.
Jose Bercedoni: The muffins are good, and the coffee tastes just regular, the prices are too high.
Jimmy Tull: So many different layers to this place.y wife and I split a coffee and a slice of cheesecake by the fireplace, then played board games later on.
Norman Pittner: Great place
Bryan Russell Thomas: Excellent food, great staff, sometimes free stuff.
Cathy Lebryk: Amazing coffee and muffins there.
Elizabeth Tovar Ortiz: My husband and I enjoy going to this cafe but today for some odd reason we were not pleased with what we got. From the beginning there were two ladies up front, one counting money so we waited for her to say something as we didn't want to interrupt. A few moments later another girl asked with an attitude if we needed something. We ordered and then she just put our drink in the counter and didn’t say one word. She gave us a weird vibe throughout the whole time. Not only did we have someone rude make our drink but we got something that wasn’t even done right. The drink was supposed to be a white hot chocolate but I did not expect a white chocolate bar to be dumped in water???
oturo joyce: Love there hot Chia

Davis Chocolate: what do users think?
eric v: Bad customer service. Contacted them twice, ignored twice. Once via email, once through the website.
Samuel Jones: I love there chocolate pretzels
Connalita Stewart's Play List: My sister works there after hours to clean up.
Retribution Conquer: We enjoy Davis chocolates because they offer an alternative to processed refined white sugar by using coconut sugar. The taste is just as good and they melt in cookies to create a creamy smooth texture.
Alyssa slater: I was so excited when I first found Davis chocolate because their chocolate is only sweetened with coconut sugar and their peanut butter chips they are both absolutely delicious I have never been disappointed the only problem is when I open a bag sometimes I can't stop eating it😁
Sarah Bosler: I appreciate good quality vegan chocolate products shipped and fresh when they arrive. I also ordered hand sanitizer from them when it was hard to find in stores. I have no complaints, a sweet treat during this stressful time is welcome.
Liz Woodcox: Great Chocolate!
Jessica Friend: RUN!!! Worst company to work for ever. The owner messes with your paychecks. He had me and several others work for him thru a staffing Agency. And did not pay us our wages for 72 days. If the staffing agency had not paid us we would have been sunk. The overall cleanliness of the place is complete trash. They used to take pride in a complete sterile environment. But now they can't even keep their doors open long enough for anyone to make a living through them. You cannot reach your 40 hours a week there. Because they are always sending people home. The business is going under. Not to mention. The unsafe condition. To work in it it's the tiniest room with way to many machines. There is no proper or safe space for people to work there especially in abundance of people. If the place God forbid ever caught on fire with people in there. I hate to say it but they would perish. Because the fire exit is in the front of the production room where you enter. and half the time to get to your workstation you have to climb under moving working or over moving working heavy machinery. OSHA would have a field day.The organization is ridiculous. And the all-around rude disrespectful way management treats people. They promise raises and never follow thru. And they also make what shity working watermen it iseven worse by screaming and yelling at everybody and telling them that they cannot talk during work. And they punish you by taking the radio out so you have to work in Misery and silence. And if you dare speak up or say anything your job is threatened and you are talked to and treated with the utmost disrespect. I have seen a person lose their finger in the machine called The Noble. I have seen a managerget electrocuted from static shock so bad that he had to be hospitalized. I have seen them make people's lives hell. And run all of the supervisors away crying. I have seen corners being cut in the recipes, and things in added in recipes that we're not to be altered.
David Keenan: Awesome chocolate and chocolate products and ingredients. They take a healthy approach to making chocolates and I appreciate that. Way better than the mass produced chocolate. Try some, you'll agree.
