He has a wonderful place with top notch people working with him to skin deer or other animals people harvest then process the meat into the regular cuts people get year after year. Dale bought a business a few years back that allows a person to get snack sticks, summer sausage, jerky and more right at his place. By the way, his prices are great!

thomas skalla: I've been eating venison for the last 40 years and I say that the product I've gotten from Elkins is second to none.I would recommend getting their Italian hot sausage made in the 1-lb. bulk-packs, and patty it for the grill. It's not too spicy for anybody in my crew, and the smoke from the drip lends great flavor to sides like sweet corn, etc. That's one of my all-time favorites. Their vacuum seal is great for steaks and roasts, their turn-around time is favorable, and if anybody like SMH has something negative to say about Elkins, or anybody else for that matter, maybe SMH should do everything themselves while keeping their mouth shut.TFS

Buddy Farr: He does an amazing job with his taxidermy. Extremely busy so call to find out how long a wait there is. He also takes Hunters to his 4,000 acre ranch to hunt. Great prices!
Ashton Vanantwerp: About 16 months to complete my 2017 shoulder mount but it was WELLLLLL worth the wait. Have gotten 1 shoulder mount and 2 skull cap mounts, all have been show quality. Paul is definitely your guy for taxidermy
Logan Rush: I was disappointed with the quality of the fish we had done. One of them had a hole in the side where a fin was supposed to be, among other detail oriented oversights, and they looked nothing like the actual fish we caught. They almost put our two fish on one piece of wood even though each fish was for a different person. I was instructed to drive 90 minutes out of the way to retrieve the fish, and when I arrived, my fish were not there. They had been done for 2 months sitting where I had come from but nobody told me. Overall I had a rough experience with this outfit and would not recommend them.

Brendan Leiter: Fixed a walleye of mine a local artist did they was completely jacked tyler dose great work
paul davis: First mount he did for me and then went to pick it up he charged me $20 extra for something he said he had to repair. Until recently he raised his price to $500 on me and then when I went to pick it up there was an extra $30 charge because he had to repair two holes, the holes were my arrow went through. Never heard of a taxidermist charging to repair holes. Will never be there again
Ben Rose: Tyler did a great job on my buck last year, so good that he is doing another one for me this year. Great guy and reasonably priced for high quality work.
