Meridian Title Corporation: what do users think?
Darcie Koerting: Very professional and detailed!
Kathleen Catalino: I had used Meridian Title for many years as a mortgage professional and we currently use their services for our own real estate business transactions. Very professional and educated regarding some of the intricate situations we’ve encountered in the past. I recommend Meridian Title to everyone and especially Susan Schricker; she’s been through thick and thin with us and we couldn’t be happier. She gets the job done! The entire staff has always been easy to work with and treated all of our clients with respect. We appreciate them all !
Jan Hill: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessI have worked with Meridian Title Corporation on many real estate transactions. Their professionalism, outstanding communication, and ability to be flexible with our mutual clients is what keeps me referring my business to them!
Ryan Woodruff: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueMeridian has made my life in the Mortgage world a better place for as long as I've worked with them. They've done more than just title work for me, training, networking, industry development, they are the ultimate partner in my eyes!
Adam Howland: Positive:ProfessionalismI have done a lot of business with Meridian Title Corporation and they have always given me top notch service. Professional, speedy, and very friendly. Highly recommend!
nicholas bickel: Positive:ProfessionalismPam Moore is very professional and so is the rest of the staff here. I will DEFINITELY be doing business here again.
J S: Critical:Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI agree with the previous reviewer that their service is poor. Just poor attitude and lackluster delivery. I am not impressed with this company at all.
Ivan Fedore: I worked with the Nile's, MI Branch regarding this review along with several corporate employees:Meridian Title Corp. ("MTC") assisted me with two closings in a few months and have now lost my business forever. MTC failed to disclose an outstanding fee on a property that their staff was privy to prior to closure. Not a huge fee, but large enough to be a shock once I was enlightened. Upon several discussions and requests MTC has said in a nutshell - "Tough luck, your problem". So that being said I will be going elsewhere and I recommend the same to you.

Metropolitan Title Company: what do users think?
Michael Pingel: I am very disappointed by my recent experience of closing on a home with Metropolitan in Edison Lakes Mishawaka. I am a seasoned home investor and typically my transactions go smoothly at a title company. However after signing papers during my scheduled closing time I walked away with no documentation, no expected reimbursement checks and no satisfaction of just “buying” a new investment property. I appreciate when a title company pays attention to the details and treats the home buyer as a valued client. Instead I was informed that this title company does not need to keep the buyer informed, but must rely on the real estate agent to get that information. How is the realtor now a priority over the paying client? I have the understanding that as a buyer I am paying the processing fees, the title work and can choose what company I would like to close with. Given my last two experiences with Metropolitan in the last year, I would strongly recommend using a different Title company. Best, Mike Pingel
Óscar Torres: I’m trying to buy a house and they take so long to do in the process My real state call every day and they don’t have answers
Kate Gassman: Metropolitan Title Company has acted in a way that is irresponsible and unprofessional. They need to make amends for their actions. We sold our home in Elkhart, IN 46514 and purchased our current home in Granger, IN 46530 on December 30, 2021. These two transactions were performed at Metropolitan Title Company at 4100 Edison Lakes Parkway #120, Mishawaka, IN 46545. After the sale of the Elkhart house, Metropolitan Title Company issued a check for over $20,000 to Medallion Bank from the proceeds of the sale, to pay off a home improvement loan. The title company issued the check with the wrong address. The bank’s address was given to the title company on December 16, 2021 via email. Both the bank’s current address and an overnight payoff address were provided on the letter, which is attached to this letter. The title company ignored the address on the letter that was provided to them and issued a check with a defunct address on it. Metropolitan Title Company made it clear to me at closing that it was my responsibility to mail the check to the bank, not theirs. I mailed the check on the same day as closing, December 30, 2021, proof of which you will also find attached. On January 11, 2022 I received a call from Medallion Bank that they still had not received the check. That is when I discovered that the address the title company used, which was not the one I provided, was defunct and ceased forwarding as of November 2021. I called the title company and they reminded me that it was not their responsibility to mail the check, and agreed to reprint the check.January 13, 2022 I went to Metropolitan Title Company to pick up the new check. The address was incorrect a second time, despite the fact that during our phone conversation, I again provided the correct address. This time I asked them to reprint it on the spot, and I asked them to pay for the overnight mailing that was now required ($30), as we are in danger of having this affect our credit report. They refused to pay for the mailing, stating again that it is not their responsibility. They also stated that it was the Elkhart office who received the payoff letter, not the Mishawaka office, trying to blame other people for their mistake. In conclusion:I strongly believe that it is the title company’s job to pay attention to paperwork that is provided to them and to correctly transcribe any information given to them.Additionally it is indeed their responsibility to talk with other branches of their company and work together collectively as one business to make closings smooth for their customers.Furthermore, it is their responsibility to recognize when they make a mistake, especially when it seriously affects other people’s livelihoods. $20,000 is a very large sum of money and not one that should be dealt with lightly. And finally, it is the title company’s responsibility, after they have acknowledged their mistake, to make amends for it by covering the cost of shipping resulting from their mistakes. If they want to offer a show of good faith, they could also cover the cost of the first mailing, too ($15).Metropolitan Title Company has acted in a way that is irresponsible and unprofessional. They need to make amends for their actions.

She answers calls and emails in a timely fashion. When it come to closings, Julie M. is epic. Always charming and clear to the dot line by line to sellers and buyers.During Covid-19 tense moments, you took all the necessary trials to stay closer to your clients by allowing them to enter your offices with precautionary measures while others dumped us in the parking lots in our cars. For the snacks and coffee station, that’s the best in the area as you have all variety choices for the clients to enjoy. Fidelity National Title: what do users think?
Joseph Dubash: Friendly staff. One issue I had was between them and the bank. It took six hours of my day to close on a house that should’ve took 45 minutes. I’m
Naresh Kumar: Receptionist is very good , she help me a lot for notary
Jamie Amador: Not much to say except they know what they're doing and have a nice building.
Erica Seifert: This company has a process where they must verify the checks they issue before you can deposit them into a First Source account. This is NOT something anyone bothers to mention before or at the time of closing. If you’re okay with being issued a check that you cannot deposit until it is convenient for them, they’re great! If you expect to deposit a check written out to you when you show up at a bank during their open hours, not so much. I cannot express how frustrated I am with this company and I will never use them again. Realtors need to be aware of this process and share it with clients. Being in a position of potentially not having funds for a buyer closing because you can’t deposit the funds from selling increases the stress of the process by ten fold. Fidelity is horrendous for allowing this.
Shelly Speakman: I arrived early, almost 35 min early. They gladly took me in and started early! The process was so fast.Everyone was very nice.
Deanna Culp: Everyone was very helpful and made signing the paperwork easy.
Bill Broecker: Closing was quick and easy, and was handled at the appointed time. Would use Fidelity National Title again.
Alex mc lean: Chose them out of everyone I called. Bother Destiny's were very helpful.
James Hernandez: People are nice
Todd Kankel: Processed home closing, very courteous and helpful staff.
Mike P: Professional and good service.
Rosina Robinson: Very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient!!!
Chaz Rich: All about the money, not the people. Don’t recommend for students or first-time homebuyers. Never will use again.Looking at all the fees they charge and don’t explain is ridiculous and unnecessary.
Carol Sage: Really appreciate them the way they handled my business people are really nice to
da mdo: Several mistakes with " master statement ", which were due to not having read "agreement " signed by seller-buyer. Front desk receptionist is a bit rude, other than these snags...the closing was done in a two week timeframe.
Bill Davenport: Good
Monique Toney: Very professional
Michelle Loikits: My experience was not pleasant. As the seller of a property you are at the mercy of the buyer as to which title company does the closing. I'm not certain why the people that work on this off are so unfriendly, but they are. If you are set to close with this company be prepared for a rude greeting and sharp tones the entire time you are there.
