TCU Travel: what do users think?
Rachael Lingenfelter (Rach): They never answer or call back it's a waste of time and energy
Daddy Daddy'O: This is the worst credit union in the country. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Poor service! They took advantage of my elderly father that's worked over 40 years at General Electric. He had a live in nurse steal his money out of his account. I personally paid $1000 on his car payments. He was one payment behind. Keep in mind he has excellent credit, never missed a payment in his life. They had the car repossessed. I had told them, I would personally make the payments. They took the car... I had to pay the car off. They would NOT work with him. A police report was made over the nurse stealing his money. It didn't matter to them. He owned a $40,000 Cadillac XTS, the pay off was $7,500. Of course they wanted to steal the car from my 75 year old father. This bank is not any better than the nurse that was stealing his money. Beware!
Adrienne Lee: TCU Travel is the only travel agent that I go to. I've been choosing TCU Travel for over 21 years. Great customer service.
Jonathon Cole: Most friendly and convenient bank around. More ATM's than any other Bank in South bend! :)

South Bend, Indiana: what do users think?
Tenise Jones: Great train station
Mare: This is the most inefficient train station I have ever experienced. Though as helpful as they can be, the staff are not Amtrak employees (rather contractors of an independent agency) and therefore do not have access to critical information about train status, cancellations, etc., causing poor communication with travelers (not ideal when traveling is already stressful enough!). There are no ticket sales or luggage storage at this location, and the luggage scale has been out of service each time I've boarded here. The station is small and dated with a dimly-lit parking lot located in an inconvenient part of town. Boarding requires hauling your luggage up an incline to the tracks without any accessibility assistance to do so. Amtrak could do much better for their customers by giving this station some desperately-needed maintenance and updates.
Kelly Contine: The gentleman working this morning was extremely helpful and friendly . I only wish I caught his name . I really appreciate that this station checks tickets and keeps passengers updated on scheduling etc . I had a great experience and the gentleman went above and beyondGreat job south bend !
Randall Lee: worthless employee I dont even know why there is anyone there.they should just send their paycheck to the house.I called there for 8 hrs. and they would not answer the phone.
Prakash Nallathamby: Do not take amtrak from South bend. Booked a trip to DC on a Saturday. It was supposed to leave at 9 pm in summer. The train kept getting delayed till it said it will come at 1040 pm which is after dark. Now there is no station, the lone building was locked, nobody to help, and absolutely no indication of which track goes to DC. There was a bus stop like shelter which had broken glass and rusted iron pegs to keep you company. Absolutely not worth it and definitely not a safe neighbhorhod to be in after dark. Absolute embarrassment. The only positive was that I was able to cancel the ticket at 930 pm and I got a 80% refund.
Abby Buell DeBoni: DEFINITELY do not consider taking the Amtrak to Chicago (or really, anywhere else, but my only experience is Chi). Someone told me that this would be a faster option than the South Shore train. IT IS NOT. I bought tickets that said my trip would be 1hr 29min. Great. Except the trains NEVER depart on time, and once they do, they spend a TON of time just sitting on the tracks, not moving at all, waiting for freight trains to pass. My short trip took 1hr 20 min additional time, and my return trip took an additional 2+ hrs on top of the 1.5 it was supposed to have been. I have learned that this is a regular occurrence with every train, but at the time I didn't know and was super mad.
Rian Johnson: Never again
SaVonne Wiley-Cupit: South bend is a quiet town, it's a good place to retire. But if you are about the hustle and bustle of life, you probably should find a bigger city. Oh and you need to be a driver especially during the winter
supaskiido music: Thanks. According to my little research about the place. Its quiet a good place to live at and even love the life style over there. Hope to to like there forever for the rest of my life.
Dana H: Never again! Took the train from Chicago to Southbend. First of all the train broke down, we were supposed to arrive at midnight, we finally arrived at 2:30. Once we got to Southbend it was so late that there were no Uber, Lyft , taxi or hotel transportation. Four of us were left stranded and the only employee was getting ready to close the station. Thankfully that employee went out of his way to give us a ride to our hotel. Secondly there was no communication about how to board the train and only 2 employees trying to direct a bazillion people.Second trip was worse, no Amtrak employee at the station and train was 4.5 hrs late.
Jeanette Jordan: Very nice tranquil place. No anxiety for me. Face mask required but place is clean . I love the sunset that I saw when I was waiting for my train . Cute little place .
Kevin Feeney: Far from downtown
Christopher Buzbee: Girlfriend showed up to to catch her train. To say the ticket agent at the (micky) is inept at her job is an understatment . First she tried to say the could only accept cash for checking the luggage. A phone call to a amtrak customer service rep the ticket agent was told to accept the credit card and check the luggage. The ticket agent then refussed to answer any other questions about the train being an hour late , estimated arrival time of late train anything. When my girlfriend informed the ticket agent that the train was almost there and asked about her bag the ticket agent told her to leave the bag in a area and the ticket agent would get it on the train. This entire time it sounded as if the ticket agent was on a personal phone call in the office. Needless to say say the Agent never left the office , luggage didnt get up on the train and was left at the station. As soon as my girlfriend realized what happened . I immediate called the station and talked to the Agent (micky) who tried to say that my girlfriend had forgotten her bag, which I know was false as I was on video call the entire time she was at the station. I told the agent this , she put me on hold , then hung up the phone. I teied calling back several times trying to resolve issue . Agent would answer and hang up . was informed condutor was trying to call and was getting same. My final impression : the agent tried to charge cash, so she could pocket it. when that didnt work she made sure to make it difficult on my girlfriend by not putting the bag on the correct train. Impolite, unprofessional and needs to be promoted to customer
Krishna Chaitanya: A simple station.
Kelly S: Small station with comfortable waiting area and more than enough space. Bathrooms are small and sometimes a bit dirty but usable. Staff is always very friendly and accommodating. They provided assistance to my disabled mother by giving her a ride to the train car to ensure she got on okay. I saw some people leave their cars there for a few days while they're gone. I'm not sure I would do that with the type of neighborhood that is nearby.
Jenni Dicken: I think the waiting area should be 24 hours that way people who have to drive for hours to get there have a warm place to wait when it cold or on hot days have a place to sit to keep cool
Eileen Sullivan: We had the pleasure of arriving here after a 20+ hour ride and were greeted by a smiling, helpful and competent employee by the name of Nancy! So rare to come across and yet she acted like it was her pleasure to be there. Thank you from the Sullivans 😊
Michael Fugate: South bend has a lot of rough neighborhoods, beat down streets, and dilapidated buildings. There are some nice plazas, and some nice parks but all in all this town needs a great deal of work.
Tiffany Melton: I live here
Reg Johnson: The Amtrack Staff at South Bend are very conscientious, helpful and pleasant. The station is not large or new, but it is comfortable and meets all the needs. I really like this station!
albert Sancho: The ride was comfortable and nice.

Windblown Travel, LLC: what do users think?
Maxine Frisbee: Valerie is always wonderful to work with and goes out of her way to help clients.
Ragnar Purtle: I occasionally have someone ask (even scoffingly) why I use a travel agent? After all, they proclaim, they can just book it themselves online or on the phone.Sure…you can, but why would you?Do you use a realtor when buying a house, or do you try to call and manage making all the appointments yourself? Most people don’t…and for good reason. Just like realtors in the housing market, travel agents best know the ins and outs of getting the best deal and, more importantly, protecting the purchaser! That ensures you can enjoy your vacation relatively worry free. Trust me, you’ll appreciate your travel agent when they spend hours on the phone on your behalf rearranging travel arrangements or dealing with potential issues at properties you’ve rented while you’re relaxing at the pool. The real issue is not whether you should use a travel agent, but rather WHICH ONE.I’ve used many travel agents over the years but have never used one more than once…until now! There are 3 things you want from a travel agent. Accuracy of information, knowledge of the industry, and responsiveness. With Valerie you get all three…and you get it consistently! She’s quick…you, nor your guests, will be waiting around not knowing when (or if) she will get back to you. Additionally, Valerie travels these same destinations and knows what she is talking about. She learns your tastes and will be able to steer you clear of things she knows you won’t like. She will get you the best bang for your buck, where you may mistakenly book a substandard property…or even cruise ship…if you do it yourself. Some ask…does it cost more? The answer is NO…if anything you’ll get a better deal with her knowing the perks and discounts available and doing ALL that research for you!I definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND Valerie!
Cynthia Jacobson: Always provides top notch service!! Couldn't ask for a better travel agent who listens to what you are looking for!!
Janae Finnicum: Valerie has done it again. She managed our trip to Cabo with the best service and all of the various changes and cancellations that we had to go through before we even left home. I plan to use her for all my travel plans. She sure makes it easy.
Erin Harvanek: I’ve honestly never thought to use a travel agent, as I enjoy researching and booking my own travel. However, I decided to give Valerie a chance when an amazing opportunity on an Alaskan cruise came up pre-pandemic. Fast forward to the pandemic, I will continue use a travel agent to book a cruise. With policies ever changing, it’s reassuring to know that someone is looking out for you. I always had up to date information on any changes from requirements to schedule changes and additional add ons. Even when rates changed, Valerie was able to get the updated rate. I have several trips booked and I look forward to booking more.
Mike Wynn: Took care of absolutely every detail of our trip and made it as simple as it possibly could be. Highly recommend for any and all travel plans no matter where you want to go.

Legacy Tour & Travel: what do users think?
Sonya Howard: Jessica was a big help planning our 20th anniversary trip to Jamaica. We will be going back to her for sure.
Lisa Creager: I personally would not recommend Herpree to anyone she did a terrible job planning our vacation .... first off she spelled my friends name wrong I'm thankful I realized it cause everything has to match then we get to O'Hara to find out we don't have the right passport we were headed to St Lucia had no idea the passport we had was the wrong one she never asked to see our passport that's why we hired a travel agent cause we don't travel much she failed in many ways so beware ppl.
Pat Yoder: Nice lunch. Limited menu as are most resturants.
Alana McClellan: Harpreet Kaur, with Legacy Tour and Travel, was nothing short of amazing. She was very patient with my wedding party and I and always helped in whatever way we needed. She not only helped us find our destination for the wedding, she also fielded so many calls from everyone at different times and was very courteous and kind throughout it all. We would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to travel!!!
Lisa Clark: Very nice ppl. Lorrainee was very nice and helpful
Louis Laroche: Great people. Very helpful.
Leatha Dawson: Harpreet was great. I know my group and I are a handful, but she did excellent.
Ashlee: Booked a Hawaii vacation before covid and only got 800$ back in "travel credits" in return. And the credits expired Jan 15 2022. I think travel agencies might just be one big scam.
Pat Gollob: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueWe traveled to Turks and Caicos last month. Jessica Creech was extremely helpful and patient with all our questions and concerns! We had a wonderful trip and can’t say enough regarding Edgerton Teavel/Legacy and Jessica! Thank you!Art and Pat
Kristina King: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessHarpreet did such a great job helping us with our trip. She was very patient with all the questions I had and I will definitely be using her again for my next trip
Erika Ortiz: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueMy husband and I booked with Harpreet, and she was great. She had an entire trip booked for us in a day. Everything was seamless. We will be booking with her again!
Vince Weaver: In the process of trying to plan a vacation. Our advisor was helpful and gave us a decent amount of choices of nice locations. Kind of expected lower costs considering the current price of airfare and not a lot of people traveling right now.
Jamie Egendoerfer: Easy to work with. Explained all options. Made it a great experience!
Ronda (Ziggymom): If 5 stars is the highest rating you can give a person, I give Jessica at Edgerton Travel 5 STARS! My son wanted to travel to Japan for 21 days. Our first stop was a different travel agency and they were unable to book what he wanted. Not to mention, they made it sound unsafe for him to travel alone. So we went to Edgerton Travel and spoke to Jessica. OMG! She was planning on traveling to Japan the week before my son was. She was quick to put my mind at ease. She booked a non-stop flight from Chicago to Japan and back home and used a tour company with whom my son could contact if the need arose. She made sure he was booked in hotels with good ratings and included train passes for his travel around Japan. My son made some changes to the proposed travel itinerary and she was happy to oblige. When she was allfinished, she presented him with a beautiful itinerary which had hotel information, tourist attractions and how to get to each area. She was even kind enough to give me a copy as well.I have to mention the 1st full day my son was in Japan, staying in Tokyo, a level 3 typhoon hit. He was fine, but it worried me.During my son’s last few days, he wanted to stay a little longer in one area than was planned. Jessica helped him make the changes to his hotel stays. Upon his flight back, Jessica even sent me a personal message to let me know that his flight was coming in on time. What travel agent does all this? JESSICA AT EDGERTON TRAVEL DOES!!!!Thank you Jessica!
Judy King: Our trip through the West was so stress free thanks to the the hard work of Jessica C. We took three grown grandchildren on a eight day trip to visit the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, and several other places. Jessica planned the trip....including how long to get to each place, how much gas, reserved places to stay, and the cost for each of us for the trip! Jessica made it totally stress free! Definitely will use her for our next trip! Also while out of the country with a group, I lost all my credit cards and driver's license. I called her, and she took care of notifying the companies of the lost cards, and I continued my trip knowing she had thing under control for me. She went above and beyond what she is expected to do.
mary barta: I have not used a travel agency for many years but may begin again. Harpreet Kauer was so efficient and just a pleasure to work with. She put together a wonderful package for 10 people traveling from different locations and days. Complicated but did it so pleasantly and effortlessly.
Lisa Brown: I enjoy working with Jessica! I just send her my travel thoughts, and she puts it all together for me...no issues or hassles! She has helped me get to Aruba, Colorado, California, and New York!
Lorna Tarman: Have nothing but good to state regarding Harpreet Kaur at Edgerton Travel. She does everything possible to make our trips run smoothly. Always very helpful and on the ball. Trust her completely with making our planned trips go off without a hitch.Edgerton’s are a class act travel agency.
James Day: You want to travel this is the place!
Jennifer Fairres: We have had nothing but problems!!! We had to pay again for almost everything th
Craig Ferrara: I recommended Edgerton's Travel Service to a friend of mine for our group vacation and he contacted them and Edgerton's was able to save our group a significant amount of money and everything from start to finish on the trip went smoothly with no problems. Thanks Edgerton's for a relaxing trip away and I will recommend Edgerton's to all of my friends and family for travel arrangements.
