Eastlund Wendell: NEVER GO HERE!!!I wanted to wait to get my car back today before I said anything and these crooks strike again.I have an 01 Cadillac with very low miles, pampered and babied it’s entire life, garage kept, one owner. Only had one issue ever with it which was a strut I had someone else replace.That was almost a year ago. No other issues until a couple months ago my check engine light came on. A solenoid in my transmission needed replaced. No other issues. So I thought I’d try Precision Transmission. They wanted $2,000 for the repair and refused to budge at-all. Whatever. It needed done. Finally they get it done, I go to get my car, pay and someone drives my car up and leaves it run. I get in and drive home. The very first time I started it, check engine light comes on. Crankshaft sensor. Awfully coincidental considering I literally just got it back. So against my better judgement I brought it back. They replaced 3 sensors and charged me over $500. Now they’re looking suspicious. I get my car, take it home, and the very next day several lights come on including suspension and check engine. I knew not to take it back to this shady place but I guess I wanted to give them a chance to redeem themselves. I was very clear about not being pleased about these coincidences and about what I wanted fixed. My car was now making noises at this point. They had it since last week, replaced two things and charged me over yet another THOUSAND DOLLARS. And wouldn’t you know I got in my car that never had engine issues before taking it there and after thousands upon thousands of dollars, my car is running awful and making noises from under the hood.Fool me once, etc. Its my own fault for trying to give these crooks the benefit of doubt. No hard push to get me to do things. They’ve always taken care of my car when they have it and they explain everything broke down. Today my car had some work done, when he called to tell me what was going on he explained every single detail about what was causing what and what would need replaced because of what. I needed a new transmission on 2013 Nissan Altima (don't buy this car by the way) with only 100,000 miles. The guy at the front desk was awesome and helped me pursue this warranty claim. Once I told him they were unfairly denying my claim, he began calling and emailing the company every other day or so until they finally paid almost a month later! Erich Crump: I'll try to keep this short. My wife and I had transmission serviced and new batt was required. Told them to replace. After some weeks batt was bad. New batt??? Anyway after dropping vehicle off for them to replace, they did not replace but cleaned and tested batt and said good to go. I'm 40 miles from their shop. Batt went bad again so I went and replaced the batt myself. No problems with my batt. Brought batt back to Trans shop for refund on batt. No help since I did not waist my time again to make appoint again. Never return. Such a HASSEL!!!! Probably won't do any good but I will contact their Corp for resolution. No help at south bend location. All over 190.00 . Do no buy batteries from these guys. Also brought my 4 runner in for diagnostics. Cost me 86.00 for them to tear my rear end out for a problem with my bearing. They were unable to do the work because of a special tool requirement and they did not have. Took to dealer, turns out their diagnostic was wrong, it was the left front not right rear. Still cost me 86.00 for wrong diag which they could not do.Erich CrumpServices:Battery,Transmission

I had promised to do a review and completely allowed time and weeks and months go by and I and truly sorry and deeply apologize for my procrastination.I would like to say that these guys are great. Top notch.I was in a pinch far from home and they quickly discovered the issue and fixed it with in a very reasonable amount of time.My air condition went out on a very hot day and bam they got it up and cooling again. They had also noticed that my back breaks and rotors and calipers were faulty.Which I had them fixed a week ago by bell tire, they advised me to go back to Belle tire to have them fix their mistake.I am a middle-aged single woman and car stuff really is not my thing lolBut I was totally treated with respect and was shown step by step how and why certain things on my vehicle needed to be fixed. They would show me what a good caliper should look like and what a bad one looks like.It really helped me out and put me at ease.Well a couple about a week goes by and something g seemed to go wrong g with my aur condition again and I called them and made an appointment to bring it in so they could fix it.It was actually an issue that was related to the air condition but not the initial thing they fixed, but it was a simple part that regulated the temperature that needed to be changed.They were super awesome and totally replaced that part and fixed it and did not charge me an extra penny.Most places would have charged me another 200 bucks or more, but not these guys.Wow.I am so sorry I took so long to make this review 😪Please forgive me.If I lived closer I would make this place my go to for all my vehicles. Tom Juntunen: 17 hours away in Texas and my daughter who is in college in South Bend calls me with car trouble, and of corse it’s cold and snowing. When she told me what the car was doing I had her shut the car off and to park the car and my heart sank. I know it wasn’t feasible for me to drive up especially not knowing what part availability would be like when I got there and the thought of finding a shop that was both knowledgeable and honest would take advantage of my daughter and the fact I was far away was weighing in my mind. I prayed, and then I immediately started looking for local shops online. I have a back ground as a car technician and I knew what was wrong but didn’t really know what caused it. After filtering through a dozen or so reviews I called and spoke to Tim explained what happened and what I knew. He was very personable and professional and I felt very comfortable having the car towed to his shop without calling anyone else. He got to it quickly, verified what had broken and found the cause. (Many shops would have just replaced the part and not looked far enough to see what caused the part to fail. There’s bad reviews all over the web to prove this happens often). Tim called me to update me and get approval to make the repairs, ordered parts and got the car going within hours of the parts arriving and the bill was less than I expected. I can’t express how nice it was to deal with Tim. I appreciate his knowledge and the fact that I never for one second felt he was anything but 100% fair, honest and through. As a Dad of a young daughter 17 hours away, that is priceless. I cannot recommend Tim’s Auto Repair enough. Tim, if you see this, this Dad from Texas sure appreciates you sir and I pray God continues to bless your business!Service:Engine repair
