Nikki: Great place.45 minutes total.Drinks. Appetizer. Meal. Refills.
toni patrick: Ordered hibachi steak . The fried rice came out and I took a bite and immediately spit it out it tasted so bad like mold and sour i wanted to get sick . I smelled it to be sure and could even smell the mold sour in it . The waitress says they make the rice fresh which wasn’t what I was expecting to hear . My fiancé paid for the meal and I didn’t eat it . Never will I go back again.

Reese Ree: Make a reservation if you plan on going on the weekend. Atmosphere is very nice, staff is friendly and the food is amazing. Michelle Karl: We had the ginger salad, it was great! We also loved the amazing roll, the beauty and beast, and the ohana (peanut butter) rolls!!They were amazing! I have never had a roll with peanut butter before and was slightly skeptical but it was very good. The beauty and the beast was a bit spicy but worth it.Don't forget to finish off your meal with the banana boat or fried ice cream!
Katie L: Surprisingly Horrible Meal and Service: 2 hours later - starving and traumatizedAfter many recommendations my husband and I decided to try out Woochi as our rare date night dinner. We were initially pleased being seated right away in the bar room without a reservation. (there was a show at the Morris and they looked to be busy but not packed, the “no wait” continued for the extensive time we ended up at the location) Once we were seated our waitress swung by with waters and a smile saying she had tables ahead of us and would be back for our drink order, 15 min later she returned – we decided to order everything and wanted to avoid any possible delays after arriving hungry. We ordered edamame, a boston roll and a spicy tuna roll as starters, then pad thai and udon noodle soup as mains. After 45 minutes we asked for an update needing something to eat and our patience running thin, we were told it was coming. Another 15 minutes after that we were told our meal would be “comped and sorry for the delay”. We were then bought two incorrect sushi rolls, we mentioned they were incorrect and the waitress argued they were right. Another waitress came over, confirmed they were indeed incorrect and whisked them away. My husbands soup was then brought out with the correct rolls. He was encouraged to eat because mine would surely be coming shortly, he struggled with the dish saying it was cold and bland. My meal did not come shortly, it never came at all. I had to flag down the waitress who now was avoiding us to ask if my food would be coming, she told me “no probably not, do you still want food?”, yes we came hungry and I am starving, “ok ill have to re-ring it in, do you want to pay for it?”. At this point I was so surprised by the entire experience I just asked for anything, anything to go so that I could eat something. She returned with a brown paper bag and a managers visit to the table. We were apologized to for the experience and assured we would not be charged. Between the awful service and the food either being wrong, cold, tasteless or not arriving at all, it was exhausting being there and ruined our very rare time out. 2 hours we wasted here. The meal didnt cost us anything yes, but it did cost us 2 hours in a babysitter and our sanity for the night. This was the worst dining experience I have experienced since before the pandemic. I would never recommend this restaurant, in fact I would advise against it.
Kara Reel: Love this restaurant. Anytime we are wanting Japanese and are in South Bend it is our go to spot. I have been wanting Udon like crazy and got mine with shrimp and chicken. It was delicious. We got the King Kong roll to share, it was soooo yummy! The sushi is always spot on. My husband got the beef Ramen and said the broth was super flavorful but the meat was really fatty so he was a bit disappointed by that. Our friend got the pad Thai and potstickets and said his meal was good too. He shared the potstickers they were very flavorful and moist. We will definitely be back again.
Dawn Marie: I went to woochi fusion last night before a show at the Morris. We had reservations for 6:15. We got right in around 6:10.Sad to say nobody came to take our drink order for ten minutes. We ordered two mic ultras. It took another ten minutes to get the beers. We ordered an appetizer, pot stickers, and they came out fairly fast and they were tasty. We then ordered our entrees.I ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp.I'd never been to woochi before and the only other Japanese food I've had was at Hana yori. So that is how I compared. The rice and veggies were pretty good. The steak was a huge disappointment. It was supposed to be medium rare but it came out nearly well done and it was not even luke warm. It was almost cold. Yuck. The shrimp was warmer and much tastier than the steak. The steak and shrimp comes on top of a giant lettuce leaf. I would rather it come without the lettuce.I assume it's for looks. But it's just in the way when you're trying to cut your steak chunks, and it just looks all slimy and wilted.I can't say I'd be excited to go here again, but I would go back for a second try.I wish the tables weren't so packed together. It reminded me of a school lunchroom. It was loud and everyone can hear your conversation and you can hear theirs. If I had a choice between woochi and Hana yori, I'd pick Hana yori.

Melissa Miller: Floor Manager Stephanie made this experience very unpleasant. She interrupted our waitress 3 times when taking care of us. Stephanie was very pushy to get customers out, telling staff this table needs to pay and go, or that table. Running around like they were super busy when it was steady. Being rude to her staff like a drill, Sargent.Had we not experienced her demanding, I would not be saying this.I get it. Other customers have reservations, etc.. but don't make your staff tell already dining customers to leave when they're not even done. 🙄My husband talked to another manager to express the above and to inform that our waitress was so pleasant that she did not deserve the rudeness from Stephanie.Overall, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was ok if we didn't see the demands.

Amber: Never have I been so happy eating a meal! I just moved back after living in Korea for 10 years and have missed the food so much. This restaurant is owned by a Korean family and the sushi and sashimi here are high quality and super fresh, comparable to the quality I can find in coastal Korea. How can the fish be this fresh in Indiana!? Definitely hit the spot and I think I can live here again as long as this place exists 💕 can't wait to try their Korean dishes too.I read in some of the comments that people thought the servers are rude and abrupt. Please remember that this is an immigrant family from Korea whose native tongue is not English. Their service is professional and polite and totally what you would encounter in Korea. Don't expect them to chat you up and treat you like American servers would. Please be respectful and open minded and enjoy their amazing food and culture. I wish the owners the best of success! And see you again soon 😛🤤
Britanny Herrada: I stopped in for dinner and it was a very uncomfortable experience. The place was mostly empty and only had a couple of tables with guests. The person who waited on us was cold and abrupt like we were bothering him by being there. The menus were in disrepair and had new prices glued over old prices. The hot tea I ordered was served in a cracked tea cup with old lipstick on it. The food came out fairly quickly but the sushi was not very good so I didn’t even finish it. Overall a disappointing experience and I wouldn’t ever go back.
Kimberly Wireman: My favorite restaurant! Best sushi, authentic korean dishes.
J: Tables wasn't clean, old duds was ready polite the service of checking on others. Didn't give my chamge backFood: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Marian Newie: Reasonable price. I always go for their shrimp tempura. Love the miso soup that comes with it.
Sophie Bauchet: First greeting at 1pm was : we close at 1:30!Very expensive for average maki rolls. No soup or salad included. Will not return or recommend.
Michael Villano: Tofu appetizer was amazing. Sushi boat had great variety and was enjoyed by 7 people. Salad and miso was included.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Jap Chae, Bibimbap, Sashimi Combo Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Tai Gunter: South Bend has a lack of good sushi but this is the best. The indoor space is nothing special but the quality of the fish and detail in the rolls is quite good. Prices are fair as well for what you get.

dalia rodriguez: El lugar se un poco bien, la comida buenísima pero el servio de los que atienden horrible muy serios y no ofrecen nada
Brandon Camarillo: Got a Yellowtail roll and the Bi Bim Bob. Both were out of this world. Definitely recommended.
Jacob Lewkowitz: This is hands down the best sushi in the area. Fish is great quality and the rice is perfect. I used to be a sushi chef and I can tell you that these guys know what they're doing. I can't recommend this enough!
Walter Trzop: Best Miso soup and salad se can get. The platters are awesomeVegetarian options: Great selectionWheelchair accessibility: Seating accommodates wheelchair
McKenna DeLaney: Took 50 minutes to get our food and about 15 minutes prior to be given menus and put in our orders. Chicken was burnt and the steak was too chewy to eat. Waiter almost never came to our table and left very quickly without asking us if we needed anything. I left with my stomach hurting.
Deanna Fox: I really enjoy all of the entrees . I really don't have a favorite. All of it is very good 😋Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Mr E: Want to be upscale restaurant. Food expensive, not very many customers when I was here. Chef seems to be very quality oriented. Server is very direct with a lot of editorializing instructions, he's also very descriptive of his food.
Emely Ortiz: Great food exellent service
Autumn H: Horrible service. Food wasn’t ready until at least 40 minutes AFTER it was supposed to be. One guy walked out after a table that was seated after him gave their order and they wouldn’t pay attention to him. The a/c doesn’t work so it was hot. Just stay away.
andrea ott: Great sushi rolls!

Sean Turner: It's been years since I've been to a Ramen shop. The last time I was in an actual Ramen Shop, it was when I was stationed in Okinawa. This was very reminiscent of that experience. I had the Tokatsu Ramen and the Takoyaki. The texture of the noodles was awesome. The broth was flavorful. The pork was so tender, I could chew it between my tongue and the roof of my mouth. Each takoyaki ball was filled with octopus. There was no skimping on that. I had a great experience overall. For dessert, I had the Taiyaki with Red Bean Paste. I didn't get a chance to take a photo of that because that was gone before I had a chance to do so.My family's experience was a little mixed. My wife had the chicken teriyaki bowl. The chicken wasn't as tender as the 4th. I had somewhat of a rubbery texture. Even though the texture of the chicken was a little off, the flavor was great. Also, the broccoli was a little too raw for her taste. My son had the Chicken Shoyu Ramen. Again, with the chicken, the texture was a little rubbery. But the flavor of the broth and the texture of the noodles was spot on. It reminded me of all those years ago when I was in Okinawa. I gave it four stars, only because of the texture of the chicken, and the rawness of broccoli. We will definitely be coming back. There was so much more on the menu that I wanted to try. Great job, Okasan!
Samantha Wamsley: This small and unassuming place blew both me and my boyfriend's minds!Soon as you walk in, the large window at the front and clean modern look make it feel immediately comfy. You order off the menu at the counter before you sit down, so make sure to look over the menu before you go your first time for brevity, they display it online. The place is very clean and well organized, and the staff is so so kind and helpful. 3 We got our food insanely fast, and all of it was really tasty and authentic, which made a huge difference for me because after visiting Japan for months, I became a bit of a prude with Asian food once I got back to the states. LOLTo top our meal off, the waitress even came over with a plate of their honey plum sweet potatoes on the house, which was just the icing on the cake. This place is a great casual dining joint, and doesn't kill your wallet for the quality of food you get.12/10Wheelchair accessibility: There's a big open space with movable tables, so it is very wheelchair friendly. Although I am not sure about a sidewalk ramp outside.
Jes V: Amazing food and service! So excited to see that Okasan is open again!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Tonkotsu Ramen …More
Jes: I'm so glad Okasan is open again! The food was awesome as always and the tea I ordered was light, sweet and so refreshing. The new logo is also really cute. Will definitely be coming back!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Miranda Rivera: I have been trying to try this place out for so long and the website states they are open. Every. Single. Time. I show up to this place it is never open. I am done trying to support this business because clearly they do not want any business.
Mimi Tashmia: We quite like this new place , don’t know why this is closed ! Their chicken rice bowl was great , I also tried chicken katsudon but I didn’t find that much interesting. They served quick with smiling face . I hope they will come back soon .
WhiteFangofDAWN: Wonderful menu, great food wonderful service a little bit of a wait but well worth the food.
Christopher Nicodemus: They need up update the hours on Google. Just drove 45 minutes to find they are closed.
Scott and Cynthia Colegrove: Stopped by after college visit with my daughter and it was delicious. Friendly service. Fast. Hot. My daughter hasn't stopped raving about it. Wish there was one near our home.
liv initup: Eating at Okasan felt like being cradled by a loving god. Never in my life has any meal rejuvenated my soul in such a complete and perfect way. If I could give 6 stars I would. The only place in town I will ever get ramen again. I’m still basking in the afterglow. Thank you. I am healed.
Bradford Jordan: If you're in the mood for ramen then this is a good spot to try out. Service was great and the restaurant was clean. The Tonkatsu ramen is delicious, but I'm not sure it's entirely worth ~$15.00. The dine-in experience is good. It can feel a little cramped even when there aren't many people there. But overall, dining-in is simple and quick. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for some good ramen and willing to pay the price for it.
paula stone: We just tried Okasan last night and we were not disappointed. This place is amazing!!! This will definitely be one of our favorite places to eat in south bend. If you want incredible Raman this is the place!
Salvador Hernandez: Food was amazing, first time trying a ramen restaurant and it did not disappoint. Serves was great and staff was very friendly and helpful.
Jacob Graudin: Excellent ramen, boba tea, and bao—and reasonably priced to boot. Give it a shot—you won’t be disappointed!
Vahellish: Staff was polite and food was delicious and arrived quickly. This was my first time experiencing ramen and takoyaki and it was a wonderful experience. Went here with my father who's never really tried Japanese food outside of snacks. He enjoyed the experience himself and even managed to try boba.If they bring up the strawberry roll- do yourself a favor and get it!!! It was incredible! Soft and delicate and didn't regret trying it. 5/5 stars.
Eric Pomeroy: Absolutely loved it all, I am by no means an ramen expert, but I loved every bite. It all worked together so well. Will definitely come back to try some more dishes.

zio bronson: I got rat bones in my dumplings. I go here frequently and when i got my order i had gotten rat bones. I am never going here again.
Volrain: Decided to give this a shot after working nearby for quite some time. Can't say I'm disappointed.First off their menu is massive, you could probably find whatever you're craving here if you look around. Speaking of their menu they have some really neat options and mix-ups of the usual dishes.I got Harumaki, Yellowtail Sashimi, and Pepper Steak with white rice. The Harumaki were really good and the sauce that came with it made it all that much better, I also got an eggroll with my stuff which was a plus and that was good too.The Sashimi had splendid presentation and tasted great with their soy sauce.Lastly the Pepper steak was real solid, probably some of the best I've gotten out in a restaurant really. The rice was somewhat sticky and fluffy, the steak was good to perfection, and the veggies paired really well with everything else. They also have plenty of options for various diets so you can still enjoy the foods you love without worry.Overall 10/10 would recommend trying this place out.

Ryan: Don't be optimistic. Don't even think "oh why not, let's give it a go". You will be disappointed. You will receive subpar and pre-made food at best, with flat, dull, extremely basic flavor. Nothing was made fresh, it seemed like they just got it from a hot tray and fridge. I cannot speak on their sushi, but im sure martins will suffice beyond theirs. Just down the road, too. As for the lo mein, fried rice, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour chicken goes, head to the UP mall. They will take care of your needs there.
Jonathan Skrabak: Charging $12 for fried rice??? I've never seen this in my life! Price gouging at its finest. Re-think your prices while you charge $13.00 for full entrees.Won't come back until you make some adjustments.
Link Winter: I've been a loyal IGD customer for several years now, and while their American Chinese and sushi menus are both good, what always keeps me coming back is the authentic Sichuanese menu! I only wish I could eat it for every meal, from the tomato and egg stir fry to the fish and tofu in chili sauce, and everything in between. There's a reason food from Sichuan is among the world's best cuisines, and Ichiban is where I get my fix!I can't say that I've ever had a bad experience with the staff, as others have claimed in their reviews, but I personally believe you get back what you put into the world, so I believe in being respectful at all times. They've never messed up my order, either, and when some ingredient is out of stock (normally the Chinese eggplant, which is difficult to come by in the first place), they always phone me to ask if I can make a substitution.Incidentally, I'm sitting in their parking lot while I write this, waiting for my takeout to be ready. Hi guys!
