Brian Fruchey: Really pleased to have eaten here this weekend. Beef empanada was unlike anything I've ever had. The sandwiches are delicious and the chimichurri was yummy on them. We arrived early and were told the staff would bring our food to us. No frills and just great food.Vegetarian options: They had some all-veggie options.
Verónica M: When you are an Argentinian living thousand of miles away from home and you see a place call “Chimichurri” you think of steak. Their stake sandwich is not what I had in mind when I saw it. It doesn’t have much steak at all. It’s more like little pieces of beef mixed with onions and peppers. I was expecting something similar to a “lomito”. So that was disappointing. On the other hand, the beef empanadas were really, really good. A little smaller on their size, but amazing taste. Los “alfajores de maicena” were a nice touch. The chimichurri sauce super tasty.

Bobbi Craven: We drove by this place today for the 100th time but today, the wind blew just right! We could smell the food as we were driving to the farmers market and decided we'd come back by for lunch on our way home. This place did not disappoint!!! Definitely a new favorite of mine! My husband, daughter and I enjoyed lunch on their outdoor patio! 100% recommend.

Mariana Schnell: The most delicious empanadas, they have different flavors and all come with chimichurri sauce. They are small but filling , two or three per person. The sandwich seems to be very popular. The alfajores for dessert are some of the best I've had. Try them!

I had the beef sandwich with the cheese, I love the bread soft in the center hard on the outside, delicious, also had aju with it which is very tasty. It's a little salty but it's aju, so what do you expect. I don't live there but I would definitely go back I did enjoy the menu they had a lot of choices, service was great and seems like a local staple. - Thomas G.
Very, very good pizza. I've had pizza from most of the locally owned places and I think the Volcano has the best. It has really good sauce, a tasty thin crust, the right amount of cheese and unique rectangular shape slices. My wife enjoyed the chicken Alfredo. It was the first time she didn't complain about the amount of sauce. The owners are friendly and welcoming.- Willie D.
We went to the Volcano Restaurant twice this weekend, and we typically go when we are in town for a football game. Our experiences have been consistently wonderful. There are no pretension. This is honest American Italian at its best. Red sauce, beautiful pizza, and friendly casual service. For both meals, we started with the calamari, which where nicely toothsome with well seasoned breading. Part of our party had pizza both nights. The pizza is thin crust - and chewy without being doughy. The toppings are generous and fresh. We also had the chicken parm, which was a generous serving size. I had the lasagna one night. It was comforting, with a healthy amount of red sauce and al dente pasta. The wine selection is high value - good wine at a reasonable price. This is a great place for relaxing after a long drive to South Bend or a day of routing for your favorite football team. My only minor quibble is that I wish they were open a little latter with many of the football games going later. - Robert L

Vaidehi Phase: Loved the interior of this place. I just lost in food. It was supper delicious, and they prepared vegetarian food for me . It was amazing how they explained it. Just food was so much, and I hope I would have been informed that it's too much for one person to eat. That's why I gave 4 start. Otherwise, it's a 5 star service. The best part is they also have the same food, so they make it everything fresh with maintaining hygiene. loved the overall experience of this place. Outdoor seating is also good if weather permits.Vegetarian options: They prepare if they can make changes.

Ken Nedbal: I have been wanting to try this place for a while. ordered LG pizza waited approximately 35 minutes. I give the pizza 3 stars was not bad but I had better. From the moment we walked in we were surrounded by pictures and hats of the twice impeached ex president, 2 tvs fox news on both. I wanted a nice dinner with my wife and all we got was politics,sent us very bad vibes needless to say not for us and we will not be back!!!

The sauce contained no sauce but an abundance of pea sized sausage, reminded me of something you would get out of a bag, precooked and perfectly uniform, absolutely no ricotta…none. Was such a disappointment. Garlic bread appetizer was served with a tomato meat sauce that was delicious too bad it wasn’t used in the lasagne. The side salad was very good, fresh crispy and delicate lettuce perfect size. The service was excellent! Overall a good experience we will be back for pizza.

Jon Carr: So my family and I went here for the first time, and it was very good, we were on the patio having a great dinner, until my wife noticed that our little 2 year old daughters drink had a bug in it(it was a roach.). I took it into the restaurant and they(the hostess) took it back to the restaurant manager. Yes, there was a discount, but it was only the drinks that were taken out from a 63.00 bill! I never had a problem with a restaurant that replaced the drinks, but more importantly when I tried to talk to the manager about it on the phone after we paid and left, she was very rude! Definitely not coming back. At least not until the Health Department comes and gives the restaurant a good check up. The excuse she gave me was that it was outside and that the cup is open, even though the cup used for my daughter was with a lid on it. Tell me how a roach gets into a closed lid cup.
