Michael Esfeld: After owning a Rainbow vacuum cleaner for almost 25 years I decided it was time to replace it. I received my refurbished Rainbow vacuum cleaner about a month ago (Nov '22) from GNC Vacs. After the first use I noticed water on the floor and called VR (the owner) to let him know something wasn't right. Solved it by not filling the basin quite as much. But I could tell the suction and airflow was less than my old one. Took it to a local shop and he identified the problem. I called VR back this morning and he acknowledged the issue. I decided rather than send it back for repair, I would attempt to repair it while VR walked me through steps on the phone. Tore the thing apart, took the motor out and fixed the problem. Getting it back together was the tricky part, but VR helped guide me. Got it working like a charm!Now, the point of the story isn't to encourage anyone to perform Rainbow heart surgery with The Master VR guiding by phone! The point is he offered to have me ship it back on his dime and was there to take care of the problem. I didn't mind the challenge of fixing it rather than shipping it out. That's the kind of customer service often lacking in today's world. I would recommend GNC Vacs in a New York minute (and I live near Seattle!).

Remarkable product knowledge--they know all the differences among the various models, how they compare to other brands, etc. They are gearheads on vacuum cleaners. The owners (husband and wife) are the ones who will attend to you. They have used vacuums also as well as more common brands, so something for every budget. And they will service any vacuum cleaner. This place is one huge reason to buy locally. The owners are committed to customer service and value.

These folks know their machines and their business. I’ve found them very trustworthy and timely.

They cut the hose back and said the issue was resolved. After running the washer for the first time, we found it was having the same issues and was still broken. The company charged us $80 to look at the wash machine and booked. Unresponsive for close to a month. We have been, and continue try to contact this company. Have been promised a call back and never was called back. We have left several messages on voicemail for a return call. We are still waiting for the return call for this company to make things right. Showed up with in that time frame and did the job very quickly. Part needed was in their work van and they were able to make the necessary repair to have me back up and running. They repaired a Kenmore washing machine. That were very affordable. Very efficient. Very professional. I would highly recommend them!
