This Old Man: First off, just let me say WOW! That showroom was incredible. All the latest Penske models on display. Free flutes of glutton free motor oil while you wait in their upscale waiting room. Flat screen tv, pool (billiards for the lay people). And a complimentary key chain. I think it's 24 carrot platted. Very swanky. My only gripe would be that they took longer on repairs than what was quoted, but the free Penske logo bath towels made up for that. I would highly recommend their seafood plate.

Kev McD: I left Wisconsin early afternoon and was experiencing some abnormal shifting in my freightliner Cascadia. I was heading east toward New England, my home .I called my home base Penske truck center and described the symptoms. They recommended I get it into the nearest Penske service Center to be looked at. The nearest one on my route was South Bend Indiana so I called ahead and talked to Don, a technician. I described the situation to Don and he said he can’t guarantee he can fix it immediately, but he can at least take a look at it and make a determination whether or not I can continue on and make it back home. Don had it diagnosed within minutes but could not fix it at the time. Most likely a corroded wire to a wheel speed sensor at the rear. He said I should be able to make it back so off I went.. their facility was only a couple minutes off the interstate and I was in and out of there within 35 minutes. He told me exactly what I wanted to hear. I give this man and the facility he works at a five star rating because of his expert knowledge and speedy diagnosis of my problem.

Can't wait for port to fall off just so Bobby and his company can deal with my lawyer
J Mc: In mid June we found ourselves in a bind my moms husband of 30 years passed away and my mother is in a wheelchair. I tried to get help from the facility she is in to get transportation for her so I could get her to the funeral but they were unable to find any. That is when I found the number for Superior Van and Mobility and at first it did not look like they could help us because of an event in Indianapolis, but the staff did not give up and found us a van in Ft Wayne and were able reserve it for us. Thankfully due to their hardwork and customer service they made it possible for my mother to attend her husband's funeral and all us were truly grateful for that. Thanks again for everything and I would recommend your company to any who would needs a handicap accessible van rental all of you are awesome.

I came back on August to find out the lock was cut and my unit was open, with all my stuff up for grabs. They told me that there was an error and they were supposed to cut the neighbor unit, not mine. However, they never called me to inform the situation nor put a new lock in. Just left it open for who knows how much time!They are impossible to get a hold on the phone. You have to call central u-haul (long wait times) and get an operator to put you in contact. That's the only way they answer.It's simple: I pay for my stuff to be safely stored and they were not. I would say they are incompetent, but the fact that I wasn't even informed and the unit was left open, just screams careless and malicious.Extra: their storage units' are the worst quality I've ever seen (dirty floors, floppy walls and doors). Maybe i shouldn't have left my things there but I trusted the U-haul brand. Maybe it's not too late for you to put your things in a place that'll give you peace of mind.Bottom line: don't use their facility, they don't care about you, your plans or your belongings.

Dan M: Zero stars! I reserved a cargo van two months ahead of time for my son’s college move-in date. I got a “confirmation and guarantee” email from U-haul. When I arrived 10 minutes early to pick up the vehicle, I was told that their last vehicle had just been rented out. Despite my guaranteed reservation, her only response was that there was no vehicle until later in the day. She never apologized or explained how this happened. There is absolutely zero sense of responsibility or customer service at this location. I am not sure why anyone should make reservations with U-haul when it means nothing to them. It appears anyone walking in can take the vehicle whether it’s been reserved or not. I was extremely stunned and upset that day. I still am. To top it off, I got a text later that I missed my pick up time and my reservation will be cancelled.

Daniel Schwandt: Do not rent from UHaul. They apparently are under no obligation to fulfill your reservation for a truck after they’ve taken your money and you’ve bothered to reserve something. They won’t even call a neighboring outlet to make it right for you. Had to make other arrangements on my own. Never again, UHaul!

And you always get the proper fill which is why I highly recommend them for 100% of your propane needs.Besides installing Trailer Hitches, Balls, and trailer hookups, they also offer rental trucks, vans, box trucks, car hauling trailers, pull behind camper style storage boxes, U-Boxes and self service on site storage rooms.They are currently getting ready to build a new building and further expand their availability to provide amazing services to the public.I definitely recommend this location.
Jeffrey Krafft: Trying to get a hold of a manager. I call, go through the automated routing about storage. And the phone says, wait time is less than 5 minutes, then hangs up. I rented a uhaul 2 months ago, somehow it ordered a storage space for me. I did not want the storage. I canceled it right away, hub cap Annie's called the storage place and canceled the storage. Yesterday I get an overdue bill statement from them. Trying to get it fixed, but when I did talk to someone yesterday, she was rude to me. She said I have to talk to a manager and hung up on me. If I have to walk in there I will not be happy. And maybe be rude to them as well.

Internet and door says they open at 7, but when I arrived at 7:15 there were two people waiting already and no one had arrived to open the store. Larry Chubb: We made an appointment for a trailer hitch. When we showed up the front office person, Kim, was very helpful and courteous. The manager totally ignored us for 45 minutes, then said he didn't see our appointment, (Kim saw it), then said they didn't have the parts (turns out they did) waited all day, got no help from U-Haul corporate, finally got it done the next day (but not the electrical). At that point we just wanted out so we had to do the electrical ourselves. All throughout this ordeal, Kim was very professional, and was the only one to communicate honestly what was going on. Thank you Kim for your help.
Mike Cseh: Had a 3 day rental reservation for a cargo van- confirmed the reservation the day prior to pick up.Was told at pickup that it was “this store's policy” only to rent cargo vans for 24 hours. So while standing at the counter with the actual 3 day reservation in my hand, I was turned away. This place stinks- rent from someone else.

They didn’t even see him till 1:30 and then they didn’t have the part they needed to do what he made the appointment for. What a complete waste of time, energy and money. Not even the district manager. SO THIS ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED.This place is an outright SCAM COMPANY. I warn you. DO NOT do business here. I will never use Uhaul again. The attendant walked away for about 10 minutes and was complaining about his job as he did so. More customers arrived while he was gone. An altercation happened between two customers while in line and the police showed up to assess the situation. One customer was asked to vacate the premises.It took 57 minutes for me to drive away with the vehicle that I had rented online a few months before. I would not recommend this location. Go to western Ave location in SB. it is worth the drive.

I made that mistake yesterday, showed up at 9am, followed instructions from email/text, only to be told I had to wait to speak to a representative. I tried to explain that I was thinking I could be in and out and was having trouble with my on line reservation. The guy working in the shack said their location doesn’t do on-line pick up and that I should get in line and stop holding it up, wasting his time. (Wow. I had to check myself at this point. I wanted to snap)So I wait. Almost an hour. Watching shack man’s co-worker, man who moves the trucks around, continually smoke in and around every truck. Gross!! AND MIND YOU, NO ONE HAS A MASK ON.I get up to the shack’s window and shackman is apologetic about my wait but goes on to blabber about nothing. He said my on-line reservation was denied because the picture of my driver’s license didn’t upload correctly. “Okay, fine” was my reply, just wanting to get a truck and be on way 2 hours late to move.So after a few minutes, I was told that I had an “eElert” which was the ACTUAL reason I wasn’t able to get the truck from the get go. I asked shackman what an eELert was as I don’t speak Uhaul lingo and he told me to call an 800 number, take care of an outstanding balance and pull around and get back in line.Haha. Not happening I told him. I went with plan B and begged family and friends with trucks and muscles to donate a few hours of their time.LONG STORY Short, I called today to clear up any balance UHaul thought I owed them and they said my account was zero. Had no idea why I had a problem.COMPETE WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY AND BREATHE AND BRAIN POWER.

I pre-registered and paid for everything before even coming to the facility and I was still there for 1.5 hours... I will never come back to this business.

Matthew Buchner: I worked here for a year and bought my 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 here. Prices are high but so are everyone else's. Over all a very good place to buy a car
nathaniel hunt: This review is in regards to Joel at the Mishawaka location. Don’t go to this place. We are buying 2007 Honda Odyssey. It had a intermittent brake noise the day after we bought it so my wife scheduled an appointment. Joel was later rude to my wife because she thought the noise went away and canceled the appointment but had to make another appointment when the noise came back. So I called to address the unprofessional behavior when he got upset and now refuses to fix our van. I understand SOLD AS IS but sold as is and standing by your mechanics work are two separate things. They replaced the brakes before we bought it and put either wrong pads or the wrong rotors or it’s possibly a manufacturer error that should have been noticed. The rear rotors are now warped and the van vibrates when braking due to over sized brake pads overheating the rotors. Also front tires had to be replaced, a new neutral safety switch installed, and now the inner tie rods need replaced. We’ve had it 30 days now having nothing but problems with this vehicle and have already put hundreds of dollars in parts into it. So keep in mind they don’t guarantee their own work so when they mess up servicing the car it’s your problem. Don’t buy a car here because it will most likely have an issue. My wife called back to respond to the managers reply on this review and Joel refused to allow us to warranty the parts out. He claims there is no warranty even though every part store has warranty for brake parts. He also refused to help resolve the issue. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! Brake failure can cost people their lives. My wife and 3 small children ride around in this car. I’m including some pictures showing that hubs were not cleaned, anti-seize was not used, brakes not properly greased, and they left the old retaining screw broke off in the hub not allowing rotor to seat properly. I was a ASE A5 certified brake technician for years and can tell this is clearly an uncertified mechanic or a negligent one that should not be working on cars.
Payge Fissgus: Mishawaka location review. DONT BUY A CAR HERE!!! Very unprofessional. Bought a 2007 Honda Odyssey. Started having an intermittent brake noise the next day. When I called them Joel was rude and said if I cancel they won't help me because it cost them money for me to cancel. As if it's not going to cost me to drive back and forth 40 minutes for a mistake they made. My husband called to address them being rude so now they refuse to help. Now the rotors are warped I've had to replace 2 tires and the neutral safety switch. I've barely had the vehicle 30 days and it had already cost me hundreds of dollars. Joel still refuses to help even after claiming he would in a reply to my husbands review and also claims they have no warranty on the part from the part store even though every part store has manufacture warranty on brake parts. Attached are pictures of what we found on the front brakes. No anti-seize, not properly greased, retaining screw broke and left from the old rotors, and the hubs were not cleaned. The rear look like oversized pads are on it so it's leaving a lip on the outer edge of the pads. Overheated the rotors and they are now they are warped

Nicole Sanders: Bought a truck from here that they "promised" to fix and waited over a month for parts to come in then waited another month for them to get it in to even work on. Needless to say have had a truck I can not even drive but yet stuck paying for each week. Very unprofessional and highly upset.
