Chris Janowsky: Dr. Casetti performed my appendectomy. After the surgery I experience severe abdominal pain and tonsillitis. I was admitted to the hospital for intestinal obstruction, a rare complication after this Surgery. In the 6 days I was admitted, I spoke with Casetti less than 10 minutes total. He was not attentive to me as a patient or the pain I was experiencing. After I was discharged, I still had moderate to sever pain in my abdomen, 2 weeks after the surgery. This isolated pain, after research, seems relatively uncommon. My discharge papers said take pain medication as needed, but casetti refused a prescription. His nurse I spoke with was very condescending and rude I imagine she got from the doctor employing her. The most miserable 2 weeks of my life and Casetti could not care less about about my ongoing discomfort. Go to anyone else. This is my first review for a doctor or anything, but had such a bad experience I had to share.

Secondly, the best medicine was his sense of humor post surgery and the smile on his face when he preformed rounds on my husband and assured the family things were progressing in a positive direction.
