Emma Lozano: I rate it one because we got her for my dads paper process and waited cor 3 years and she didnt do much at all and we rehired someone else and it only took a couple months for him to get his papers
Karen Montoya: We paid her $2000 to acquire a manuscript. We never received a copy. She never returned our calls. When I called to complain I was told she was out of the office. I said I was upset because my calls were not returned. She then proceeded to tell me it was her and to forget about my case becait was too hard. Good bye $2000

I called back, but they refused to answer the phone so I left a message to please call me, but as of 3 hours later no call.10/26/20 Addendum to response from Owner.I understand you get threatening calls from clients, but I was neither threatening or confrontational, I merely was seeking information on obtaining a K1 Visa at the time, the fact that it took you nearly a year to reply to my review says everything I believe. After a nightmarish experience with a previous lawyer, I happened to stumble upon Atty. Thushanti after a quick Google search. All those outstanding reviews you see online? Those are all accurate description of Atty. Thushanti and her practice.I have a complicated immigration case and was admittedly in tears when I first spoke with Atty. Thushanti. She is not one who is there to comfort you and tell you that everything will be okay in the end (my previous lawyer did that and I may have slept better for a few nights but it only put me in a deeper hole in the end). She is honest and direct and will surely let you know the gravity of your situation and all of the possible turn outs, the good AND the bad. She is very knowledgable and will make sure you understand that things might not go your way. She won't waste your time by telling you what you want to hear because that is not what you need. You need someone who understands what the problems are so she can find ways to solve them. She left no stone unturned and was prepared for LITERALLY every possible scenario. In addition to her years of experience and acquired knowledge, she did extensive research about my specific case. She saw possible problems that neither I nor my previous lawyer saw and she was prepared to deal with each and every one of these problems if they ever come up. I can only imagine how many hours she has put into my case from dealing with my previous nightmare of a lawyer, to preparing for my case, and finally for my actual interview.To be honest, my family and I were expecting (and have already accepted) the worst outcome so it was almost hard for us to believe it when we received the final decision. Fanny Garces: BEWARE: NOTE the following is an edit to include more context & receipts in response to the lawyer’s attempt to discredit me: She didn’t know this when she wrote her response below but I secretly recorded her when she started being rude to my mom. We had just entered the room when she began questioning us about a text message she supposedly sent to my mom. My mom said she didn’t get the text message but my mom proceeded to give the lawyer her phone number anyways. Then, the lawyer turned to me demanding to know if I got this text message. I was already recording at this point because of her rude demeanor when talking to my mom therefore I couldn’t check my phone to look for the message because then my camera would stop recording so I just told her “I’m not going to check my phone” but I gave her my phone number instead. It honestly just sounded to me like a minor misunderstanding about who was supposed to get this text message but she never really explained the contents of the text message or why it was so important. She wouldn’t drop the issue and I called her out on her rude behavior. I told her “You’ve been rude to us since we got here. My mom already told you she didn’t get the message and even provided her phone number. What more do you want. It sounds like a misunderstanding and it doesn’t need to escalate more than that. I don’t like the rude way you keep talking to us.” She proceeded to apologize but she said it in a sarcastic manner: “I’m sorry it’s not your fault you didn’t get the text it’s all our fault you did nothing wrong.” Then, I told her “I don’t appreciate your sarcasm.” She said “well I don’t care if you appreciate it or not it doesn’t matter.” After we left, I sent the recording to a few friends and someone they shared it with uploaded it to social media and it’s since gone viral (she’s being dubbed the “Text Message Karen” online). I also want to point out that as you can see in the video at no point did I even address her staff in the way she stated in her reply below. She completely made that up to try and justify her rude behavior. Her staff was nothing but professional & polite to us the whole time & I thanked them when I left. Regardless of how the lawyer treated us, I don’t condone anyone harassing her whether it’s online or in person. I honestly didn’t think someone else would post the video online and that it would go viral so quickly. I would recommend another more experienced lawyer instead like Saadia Siddique (Goshen).
