Marcie Shields: Worst haircut I've had in over 30 years. My regular stylist was on vacation, so based on reviews, I came to Hair Crafters. I brought a picture and Ron, the stylist, descrbed everything he would do to achieve the style, then did the opposite. He cut a bunch of choppy layers into the back of my hair. The layers do not blend at all. He didn't even touch the top and front of my hair, just chopped up the back of it. And for this I paid $50!Service:Hairstyling

We both showed him photos of what we wanted the cut to look like and discussed it prior to beginning. Neither of our haircuts were what we requested. My husband’s hair was left patchy and uneven, as well as cut way too short. My hair was cut too short, has layers in the front around my face which isn’t what I wanted, and I have a single small patch of stringy bangs where I wanted a curtain style bang. Now we both have to spend more money and go pay someone else to fix it elsewhere and then wait on the style to grow out so we can get what we originally wanted.Service:Haircut

Dj Geppetto: New Headaches and frustration is what you'll get. Make sure you write everything down for your apts, as they might move apts around to "help". But they don't tell you about upcoming appointment after you are there. Or even give Coutsey calls. granted they get paid upfront, to let you know your appts coming up. Doesnt seem to difficult, or that you missed an appointment even. But you'll know once you call to check for open dates, they will be chipper as ever to tell you some of the dates you already paid for were missed and they money they kept. :) have a great day!

Relieved a pain from underneath my shoulder blade that I had been dealing with for 25 years.....however, I was uncomfortable with the personal questions I was asked and being a disabled veteran, I certainly did not appreciate some comments about disabled patrons made by the owner Kyle Griggs, definitely reccomend to my Veteran brothers to go elsewhere!
Joanna Skros: I had an amazing experience at New You Oasis! I had my first professional sugar waxing done (legs) after a few DIY attempts and was a bit nervous, but Anita was awesome. We chatted through the entire thing, which made the whole experience fly by. She was also very careful to give me all the info I needed to know about post-sugar care. Will definitely be coming back!

S. Lee: I can't speak for the hair salon but I will never get a Brazilian from here again. If you have any care or consideration for the well being of your vagina stay far away! They do not use hard wax which is the recommended wax for Brazilian waxes (which I was somewhat okay with having had this type of wax twice before it's a little more painful to me but not too bad) BUT My skin was raw and exposed when I went home! I had a difficult time showering because basic dove soap was burning and stinging. All around my lip area was either burned or had skin ripped off with the wax. My husband wanted me to go get my money back. Even just plain warm water was too much to handle. The next morning I had scabs!!!! The following day skin and scabs were coming off on my wash cloth completely grossing me out for the next two days. FYI I am no newbie to waxing I have been getting brazilians for 4.5 years straight in NY and North Carolina with no problems. I religiously went every 4 weeks and ONLY waxed never shaved. I just moved to the area and needed to find a place because I was approaching my 5th week and I seriously regret going to Emblazon! I have never seen the technique used here and it makes me question if they are really certified estheticians.
Melanie Page: I have a terrible fear of hair salons because I feel like the pretty stylists and desk worker are judging me, especially if I come in with my hair all crazy and weird from sleeping on it, which I think is fine because they're going to wash it anyway. The desk woman was amazing and kind and even gave my husband a beer. My stylist was nice and didn't try to force small talk on me. Will definitely go back!

Lee Visser: I have been going here for years, and it is wonderful. The staff is very hospitable, and Carly is an absolute gem to work with. She has been cutting my hair for about three years now and does a great job, I often let her do whatever she thinks is best and it always ends well despite my short hair making a change in haircuts and styles quite obvious:)Yes, the price is a bit tricky for a financially struggling college student like myself. However, I only go once every 2-3 months, and when working out what goes into that price (hairstylist time+expertise, years of experience, quality products used and hospitality) it is all very worth it.

I called them and they said because of the weather they will be closed that day but could schedule me for the next week. My appointment was on a Thursday and I had a trip on Friday. They didn’t offer to stay open late that night to fit in cancelled appointments or even a discount on services. Just overall a bad experience, especially when you have to call months in advance for an appointment.
