Pj Jackson: This is a woman's day shelter in downtown South Bend IN. It's open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and a really good resource for women and children. You can have a cup of coffee, breakfast and lunch, use address for mail, take a shower, use the telephone, or shop at the clothing closet. There's a computer lab, children's play area, and daily support groups. Services are free and the staff there is beautifully awsome!! Go see for yourself.

Brittney Dickens: I know and I understand that Hannah's House accept mothers with no child(ren) present with them. I wish Hannah's House will accept mother's that have a child(ren) present with them. Possibly another whole home building for mothers with child(ren) present with them. Not just for the homeless mothers but mothers who have there own stable permanent home to exprencience and enjoy of what a maternity home is like. Just the thought that counts. If I ever choose to have more children. I would diffanatly choose Hannah's House homeless or not homeless.

Leanne Nicole: This place is a super great opportunity to prepare you or anyone for motherhood ❤️ yes it's a high stress environment but that's to be expected when your in a position of needing help while your pregnant and or homeless while pregnant ❤️ it's also stressful because there's rules and lots of them at Hannah house but it's necessary when running a buisness and also trying to bring in donations and get 7 or less girls whom are complete strangers to get along and all from different backgrounds. many who are also healing from various issues while pregnant. The rules are necessary it keeps things going and yes the house mom's will ask alot of questions and be in your buisness, but all you have to do is politely decline talking about said topic. This program is very workable as long as you follow the rules stay out of drama! and stay focused on meeting your productivity for the week and focused on your goals. It's a great tool to prepare even the youngest person for motherhood. I can say from experience that it was hand in hand the best and also worst experience of my life I hated it while I was pregnant but once I gave birth i realized how many people who were complete strangers actually cared about me when no one else did and all the life long friendships with other girls I have made. It was a very unique and wonderful opportunity which held alot of personal growth for me. And now my Hannah house baby is going to kindergarten next month if it wasn't for Hannah house I wouldnt have been ready to be a mom I needed that almost 1 year stay to heal and also learn how to be a mom and I desperately needed the many items I recieved to clothe and diaper my baby. I would like to say to anyone reading this and considering making a call to possibly stay just stay focused on your goals! apply for housing & section 8 as soon as you move in call porch light get a case worker to help you get housing get a job learn the bus system and stay focused!! Save your money and stay out of the girls drama. I personally only associated myself with girls who were focused and weren't trying to get me kicked out and I kept to myself and I also made sure I was gone and being productive every day! Even on weekends that way the house mom's never had anything to say to me❤️ Just gather as much stuff as you can and take advantage of the opportunity because that's what this is here for.If the house mom's are asking to many questions just be nice to them and politely decline. Their there to help and are going through things to in their own personal lives ❤️ I despised my assigned house mom because I was so broken when I arrived and once I got my apartment she was there for me and even stopped by for my daughter's birthday they don't mean harm promise ❤️❤️ so all in all I give this amazing place 5 stars for sure it's an emotional rollercoaster but just stay focused! Cut out toxic people call porch light! Get yourself extra help get to getting section 8 and on apartment waiting lists you can literally Google porch light and ask for resources ❤️ I've seen girls go from Hannah house as single moms to registered nurses with houses and nice apartments and cars and they started out at porch light or on section 8 and some still are using section 8 you can do it too!❤️ Through struggle and storms is where the real emotional growth happens and your going to love the amazing strong women you'll become once you get through it ❤️

Kristen Pierce: My son was ordered to stay there thru the court system while my ex-husband and I went thru a custody battle. He was continually running away from his father's home. I will say he didn't like the structure, he didn't like the rules, and he didn't like being away from family for Thanksgiving - but he NEEDED all of that! It gave him a safe, neutral place to be while the courts sorted it out. It was in his best interest and overall - it kept him safe, he didn't miss any school, and he had to follow the rules. Great option!!!
