Luke Murray: Not what it used to be..Cheddar’s used to be a great place to go. There was great food and great prices at that, however, the last few times I went were sub-par.. I strongly feel as if the food’s quality has gone down since the last time I went (ordering the Shrimp & Broccoli Alfredo), I got the food, where the shrimp were slightly cold, still had the tail where it made a slight hassle to eat, and broccoli was hard and most likely not cooked properly..Although the food wasn’t great.. service was surprisingly good for being slightly busy and for a party of 6, I would say go for it, but be wary of a possible downfall..

Chris Lee: This place has awesome breakfast. If you are too fancy this might not be your cup of tea. This has a sixties era diner feel to it. The place is not large at all. It is very comfortable and you do not need to get fancied up to eat here just come as you are. The staff are very friendly. The food will come out quickly hot and fresh. Plenty of parking in the back.

Rettig: What a shame. I usually love cracker barrel but this was really bad relative to them usually. The fries were abysmal, definitely microwaved from frozen, awful texture. The Mac n cheese was super bland; I have never had Mac n cheese that bad from cracker barrel before. Lastly, I got the Sunday homestyle chicken. I feel like it was frozen as well and it did not taste like it has in the best. First off, the chicken wasn't completely dry, but definitely the dryest I've had from a cracker barrely, the chicken wasn't even warm at all, it was colder than room temp. Lastly, the texture of the breading just felt like it was frozen.

Harvey: The food is always of great quality, the employees seem to enjoy what they do, and I have always loved seeing the decor they have at Cracker Barrel. You don't even have to eat to enjoy your time there as they have a gift shop in the front portion of the building and before you enter, they have touching chairs and even a jumbo size checkers board.

We didn't actually get the mushrooms until we were almost through with our meal. I asked that they be removed from our bill and they did so with no question (we were too full at that point to eat them for dessert).

Michael Shane: Never leave reviews but one of the worst lunch experiences of my life. Took 1.5 hours to get soup/sandwich for 2 ppl, including 30 mins to get waters. Bacon on sandwiches were cold. Ended up charging us an extra $6 for the soups. Manager supposedly fixed it but came back acting like we did him a disservice. After we received the receipt we realized they STILL charged us the extra $6. Thought for sure after all the issues they would at least discount the bill but instead we just got charged full price & told the waitress is new & we just had to deal with it

If I knew it was that good I would have just gotten a couple of bowls of that for my dinner! The rolls are, as always, outstanding and the strawberry butter is to die for. My "go to" place to eat when everyone wants something different to eat because they have a varied menu.I also remember going here to eat when I was little and it was the Farmer's Daughter Burger joint, so brings back good memories.

They were busy, but were able to seat us quickly.We're not familiar with downtown Evansville, but enjoyed driving up Main Street. They've done quite a bit of work to make their downtown area appealing. This restaurant is in a restored home and they've done an amazing job converting it into a restaurant.Our waiter was great. We gave service four stars instead of five, but I don't believe it was his fault. I would ask for him again without hesitation. I just believe he was given too many tables. But even then, he handled the situation well and deserved the extra tip.The food was the star, though. Can't wait to get back and try lunch and dinner, because breakfast was an absolute hit!

Kelli Williams: Despite my many questions (to which the answer unfortunately was often "no" - there's not many healthy options or substitutions :( ) - Raven was patient and super helpful and attentive. The place had some really delightfully quirky (and inclusive 💕) decor, and the food was good - fries are amazing!! Pizza crust is so good it doesn't even need the rest of the pizza!
polluting: Overall, this restaurant is fantastic. Great for families and kids. The proportions of food are very generous and are undeniably tasty! I highly recommend the philly cheese steak sandwich and the both the loaded tater tots, and loaded fry appetizer. Our server was quick, fun to talk to, and always there when we needed her. The manager is awesome as well, and even gave us a free appetizer for our next visit! Definitely coming back, highly recommend eating here!
Shanna: I hate leaving any bad reviews, but here is our 1st time experience with Bubba's. Stared at our salads over 5 minutes while waiting on silverware. One of our partnever even got silverware, so also no napkin. Was half way through all of our entire meals before getting any type of drinks delivered, even AFTER I went up to the bar asking for drinks to take the table myself that I was refused. The food was all gross. Fries tasted like grease, fried chicken was well overcooked & inedible and mashed potatoes were just plain gross. Paid $40 for a meal that we couldn't even eat. We will not be returning to this restaurant. Left & went to McDonald's. Sad.

jason machen: We had lunch here the other day. 2 adults, 2 teenage boys, a toddler, and a baby. My wife ordered the lasagna and said it was very good. I ordered the black and blue with the onion rings. It was delicious!! The burger was cooked just right and seasoned well. The onion rings were fire!! My son ordered the avocado burger and fire fries and really enjoyed it. #2 Son ordered the boneless wing and the fire fries. The sauces were tasty. The toddler ordered mac and cheese, must have been good, he ate the whole bowl. The baby didn't order, my wife brought his lunch. But she gave him the lasagna later for dinner, and he appeared to enjoy it. Portions were good, food was tasty, and the service was great.Kid-friendliness: Decent kids menu, no pictures of the food for them to pic, but they can color.

Lauren B: The dessert was great. Crab cakes pretty good, although the sauce choice wasn't my favorite. My husband's steak had a strong smoke flavor, which he enjoyed but I thought was too much. His mashed potatoes were very cold, but he eats them that way at home so he didn't complain. The mushrooms were not good. We complained about them and sent the full bowl (we had one bite each) back to the kitchen. the server was apologetic but did not remove the $9 side dish off the bill. Also it smelled musty in there.
James Masomele: Very attractive space and the food selections were unique our dinners were very good. The wine selection was very extensive. We didn’t have time for dessert but several choices sounded good. Only complaint was due to a large party arriving after us seemed to get our server. He pretty much disappeared by the end of dinner with haphazard replacements.
Abigail Roberts: Great service and foodDietary restrictions: Andrew was a great server. He was very knowledgeable and was able to help me find something dairy free. Since they make everything to order I had a lot of options.
Ryan McCombs: I understand that it is meant to be a fusion restaurant, however, some classic dishes should be kept the way they are intended. Steak was cooked perfectly, although the chef went very heavy on the glaze which masked the natural favor and the expresso rub they pride themselves on. The tiramisu was another disappointment, great expresso flavor but the overwhelming amount of chocolate ice cream they decided to put on top was unnecessary. Lastly, the wait staff made us feel alienated from the rest of the dining room. We probably won't be returning.
Jason Buis: Fantastic food, service, and drinks! Everything we ordered, and we ordered a lot, was delicious and described to us by our server. It was nice to hear about each component. We made reservations for another visit shortly after leaving. We will be taking my parents next time!Parking: It's hard to find a place to park around the location, but it can be done-- we did actually end up finding a spot right out front, but we were lucky.

Christian Zimmerman: This is a great little place. Cozy and sophisticated atmosphere. Neat little bar, they have like 150 different whiskeys. Their food is an eclectic group of dishes drawing inspiration from varied cuisines. I had the "weeping tiger" for an appetizer: filet bites served on a bed of greens with fresh naan and a sweet & spicy chili sauce. The meat was tender, the naan was warm and soft, the greens were fresh, and the sauce was very tasty, with just a slight kick. I used the naan slices to make tiny beef rolls dipped in the sauce. Frankly it was delicious. For my entree I had their espresso-rub NY strip with chimichurri. The steak had a great flavor and the espresso rub was one of the best I've had. I'm very picky when it comes to chimichurri, and this one was a winner. Great flavor, not overly oily or vinegary tasting. Overall this is one of my favorite restaurants I've been to lately. Would definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in the Evansville area.
Jarrod Nelson: This is one of the best places I have eaten in the tri state. The whiskey selection is beyond amazing. Fair prices and delicious food. I had the peanut butter pork chop and it was peanut goodness mixed with a tender pork. Definitely coming back when I come back here. Leigh Gray: Oh my good gravy, Lord Almighty!!!! This was fabulous and such a great atmosphere. I was expecting it to be a bit more quiet, but we loved the energy and experience. Our server was wonderful!!!!! I think her name was Lana, forgive me if not, but she was superb. She suggested my creamy noodle peppery plate that was INCREDIBLE!!!!! We can’t wait to go again!!!!Sorry for no pics….we ate it so fast there was not time. When you forget to take a pic you know it’s amazing!!!!
Brooke Stuart: We had a lovely time at Madeleine's. We made a reservation and were seated immediately. Our server was wonderful and very accommodating. We told her we were in town for concert and she asked about our schedule so she could make sure were done by a certain time.Definitely get the deconstructed crab rangoon. The steak and mashed potatoes were great as well.We skipped wine and went for martinis instead. Delicious!No room for dessert but it sounded delicious.
Jack: Service was tremendous. I dined with my girlfriend and I let the staff know in advance that it was our anniversary. They decorated the table in romantic fashion and it made dinner really special for us. The food was amazing too. Expensive, but for us it was well worth it.

The food was absolutely delicious, truly worth the price. The plating was so pretty and the flavor was amazing. The Peach Foster Cheesecake was the best dessert to end the night with. I've recommended it at least 10 times in the past day, and I could not recommend this place enough. Absolutely worth the 5 stars!
