Laura Sills: This is not a normal review. While moving, my boyfriend and I were unpacking/cleaning when I realized one of my cats was missing. I was certain he did not get out and when I discovered we had left one large vent uncovered while waiting on a replacement cover I realized the cat had to have entered the duct work. I panicked and had no idea what to do. Eventually I called Nunning and they sent someone over. His name was Joseph and he was fantastic and arrived quickly. He helped look and open up different areas of the furnace and ductwork to check for our cat. He was so kind and helpful and even the woman who answered the phone was kind and didn’t laugh at us like some others did. I was extremely worried about my cat being stuck or hurt because it’s a old house with old duct work. However, we saw no sign of him in the duct work so unfortunately we had to give up. But it was a great comfort to know he wasn’t stuck in the duct work. And good news, while waiting for Nunning to arrive the cat had actually made it out of the duct work in another area without us realizing and was hiding, terrified. We found him later that day.

April Dartt-Johnson: I have used Nunning for several years doing maintenance on my aging HVAC units but a few weeks ago my furnance blower started making a loud noise & it was determined that the furnance was, in fact, on it's last leg. Nunning was at my home within an hour of my call, estimated my units the next day & installed new AC & Heating units the following week. They even brought me a few heaters (just in case) the heater went out before the new system got installed. I love working with them and have always found them to be affordable, professional and very knowledgeable. Cory Seib: Had them come out to check on my system in my barn. Was very aware of the minimum hourly rate. I paid attention to the exact arrival time because of this. Tech kept making completely irrelevant small talk. I tried to keep things moving along and we wrapped up with 20 minutes to spare. I asked if we could look at my house unit as well since we still had time. We wrapped up within the hour. Went to pay and he charged for 1.5 hours. He literally charged me for all that time he spent talking about his wife.

Detlef Alle: Edit July 2022: The system still runs great. Had a minor repair on a very hot day. Ray's came through again. I continue to highly recommend Ray's!It was time to replace my 10 year old Carrier system. It was dumping copious amounts of water into my basement. It was also clearly not sized right for my home because it struggled to keep the house cool on a hot day. Moose Lewis (who installed the system) could not fix it in seven service visits.I asked around for recommendation. Ray's came highly recommended. I asked them for a quote and got a new system installed a couple weeks later.I now had the system for almost a year. It has the capacity to keep me cool even on a hot day. It is whispering quiet compared to the old unit. Roger Murphy: I'm so glad a friend recommended Ray's, my geothermal system had quit working. I had originally called A-Plus Derr their tech didn't troubleshoot the problem correctly and then proceeded to charge me $600 for his mistake, the problem was a leak in my ground loop they wanted $2200 to fix the problem after charging me for their mistake. I told them their price was insane. Ray's came to the rescue, I described the problem over the phone, they showed up the next day with the parts and had my system flushed and working that afternoon and charged me a fraction of what A-Plus Derr quoted. Guy hooked up his equipment and said the freon was out and the system was too old to refill. Gave us a quote for a new system. Received a $130 bill - including a $44 'labor' charge - to tell me my system was defunct. Went with Perfection instead.

Randy Ripple: We live at 8788 Hillside Drive, Newburgh. We purchased a 3 Ton Goodman Heat Pump system from Schiff Heating and Air yesterday and it was installed the same day. Adam and his fellow installer were on site at the scheduled time and commenced with the replacement. I cannot say enough on how impressed we were in their expertise and detailed workmanship. They both took the time to answer our questions and explained the operation of our new system. The work areas were left clean. Schiff should be proud of their representation of this two gentlemen who completed the work. Last but not least, Tommy Fairchild, your sales representative, presented the companies first impression by being very accommodating, very friendly and knowledgeable about the products he offered. Matt Keener: The Schiff team is extremely knowledgeable and committed to helping customers create a comfortable and safe home environment. We had a little issue pop up with our indoor humidity levels. Andy spent several hours testing our HVAC system and developing a plan of action. Based on his recommendations, we were able to instantly solve the humidity issue by making a few tweaks to the thermostat cycle. In addition, the owner of the company stopped by to make sure we were satisfied. They took the time to explain how indoor humidity works, and they made sure that I fully understood the science behind the solution.
