The Collective - A Public House: what do users think?
Miranda Terry: Best cocktails in EvansvilleFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Henry Balensifer: The server made me a delicious mule mocktail and we chatted it up about the area. Very good ambiance with friendly no pressure service. The French onion soup was the best I've had--no skimping on the cheese! The sliders were good, but the soup was the star.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Lauren Dillard: What a hidden gem! Stopped in for an after dinner drink, the ambiance and service was fantastic. Brad was great and had awesome drink and wine recommendations. Check it out!
libbie silverman: Amazing atmosphere, even better food and cocktails
Danielle Sydnor: Beautiful ambiance! Great upscale speakeasy bar. The cocktails are delicious! Outdoor and indoor seating available.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Spencer Rice: The chef was out so I can only review the atmosphere and drinks so far, but if it tells you anything, I'll be sure to come back to try out the cuisine of this single chef kitchen. The service was excellent and cocktails carefully crafted. I had been looking for a place with a quality selection of bourbon, whiskeys, and other liqours. There are some but none I've experienced this grand and thoughtfully selected. Evansville has never been known to host many a small place with small menu and cocktails that cost more than a case of Busch Latté, but I hope this one stays for quite some time. The staff truly care about your experience, spend the time to talk to you and share tastes of new concoctions or rare whiskeys. I hadn't tasted any food but to see an open air kitchen with only one chef is a rarity especially for this "small big" town. The atmosphere is on par with any upscale place you would find in a much bigger city. Has an older style rustix feel with plenty of amenities and comforts of modern renovation.I will be back and I hope you come to. It's not common for someone to take this risk to put together a place like this in a town like this. I hope you'll support it as I will. Join me at the bar, first round's on me.
Viktor Shell: Awesome place to have a great meal, drinks and atmosphere
Patrick Rykwalder: The morale of this meal for four: be prepared to go to McDonald’s after leaving this restaurant. The table for four was served 1/4 dinners and the. 10 minutes later two more meals, and finally after 30 mins of the first dinner being delivered at the table, everyone received dinner. The red meats were extremely fatty and the scallop dinner included two scallops with a tablespoon of side risotto. The pro of this meal, the drinks were good and it is conveniently located close to a McDonald’s.
N. Aiken: Freakin Fantastic! The final and best leg of my work trip and so glad I stopped here before heading home to Texas. If you live in or near Evansville and never been here, you are missing out! BTW I had The Punch, Mussels, Steak and Frites DELISH…...beyond 5 stars 😌
Kimberly Fisher: This is the best restaurant we have eaten at since moving from LA. Thank you Andy for the delicious meal and perfect wine pairing!!!
Christina Bernardin: This place is the best place in Evansville for cocktails and dinner. A great vibe, creative cocktails, good wine selection and great food. Will be coming back!
Perfect View: Average food coupled with a very slow service!
Clara Baggett: Fine dining finally comes to Evansville! Collective is the perfect example of when passion meets profession. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable and they have a tremendous selection of wine they’ve sourced you won’t find anywhere close by. They’ve paid close attention to details, from decor to glassware to ingredients, and truly provide and elevated and memorable food experience. I highly recommend their tuna sashimi and their Brussel sprouts with lardon. You will pay a higher price, but for the quality and talent of the chefs and staff, well worth it.
Elizabeth: Atmosphere is great, drinks are craft and very unique, and the food is exceptional. I consider myself educated when it comes to cooking and the food and flavors are phenomenal.
Holly Watzlavik: We had an amazing dining experience. Superior service by Tyler, great cocktails and a little booze chat with Max complimented by an exquisitely delicious pre fix menu by Andy! This is a great spot! Can’t wait to dine again!
Cory Britton: Cocktails were amazing. Great wine selection try the bordeaux. The tasting menu was amazing brussels, steak fries, filet mignon and scallops surf and turf, creme brulee. Great atmosphere definitely a recommended date spot.
Mark Royer: Outstanding dining experience. Excellent service (Michelin star level, imho), great atmosphere/lighting/music, and stellar food. This restaurant has absolutely nailed the type of restaurant we have travelled around the world seeking. Seasonal/locally sourced/small plates/chef tasting meal with solidly crafted cocktail menu, prime wine list and attentive not suffocating service. Sitting at the bar with a backlight glow of amber from the insane bourbon collection, we had the chefs tasting menu for a crazy underpriced, $60. I have paid 10x for food And service half as good. The chef was also willing to adjust a dish for dietary needs (no pork) which we greatly appreciated. I would have loved to have seen a wine flight/pairing option but I’m sure this will be forthcoming once the “soft open” period has ended. Visit before James beard comes calling and prices go up up up to where they should be. Strong work, collective.
Victoria Clarisse: A girlfriend and I tried this place around 1700 on a Friday. They were open and welcoming even though we were there right as they opened. Everyone wore masks and they had distancing. She got a cocktail and their tacos. I got a virgin drink and the pommes frites. We both loved our time there and our culinary creations. Excellent date night or relaxing meeting with old friends.

Entwined Wine & Cocktail Bar: what do users think?
GABYSAVA SAVA: Without a doubt this will be one of my favorite restaurants, I loved it and the delicious food, a very good service from the staff. Recommended for a first date, a birthday, an anniversary, or some special date for you. It has a variety of wines and cocktails 🍸, I recommend the dessert, triple chocolate cake 😋
E “Murphdogg76” Murphdogg76: Cham-bongs and espresso martinis!!!
Jasper Brown: Amazing atmosphere and service!
William Nesmith: Too loud by far. SCREAMED " WHAT???" at our server over and over. Food and wine way overpriced. We were looking for a place to have a drink and chat with friends and thought a "wine bar" would be perfect. Wrong.
Jonathon Goodson: It was a brilliant and well thought out menu. A staff that really knows their flavor profiles. I absolutely recommend the cheese boards. The atmosphere and service were great. I would suggest they put some consideration into their music choice; Hoobastank and truffle cheese aren't the best pairing. My wife and I indulged a bit and spent over $100, but no regrets.Thank you for a great night.
Emily K: Such a fun night! Definitely go and split some dishes. Their cocktails are amazing and all of them tasted good. The menu is not allergy marked so if you have allergies you’ll need to ask.
Maren Jack: Great good, cocktails and atmosphere! Recommend 100%
Mark Worstell: Place was busy and they have specialty drinks. Most of the drinks we liked, some were not our tastes, but I'm sure others liked them due to how busy it was.
David Johnson: Very happy with the food and drinks here, their flatbread and small plates are fantastic, the conversation is good and the prices are reasonable.
Keith Ommart: Cleanest place I have seen in Evansville owner is super nice great place to go have a drink or eat
Ericka Gendren: This place is definitely a step up from the usual in Evansville. Classy and elegant Entwined offers a versatile food menu and all of the drinks of your dreams. The staff is well versed in their menu and prompt to offer the best service possible. I will be dining again.
The Honestreview: The food here is yummy. The wine is priced a little high but the resteraunt is cute and the atmosphere is a vibe. If your into a little more upscale night out then this is your spot. It is a great place for a drink with friends or maybe even a hot date. Come in and try it out!Like this review below and follow me for more just like it!
Shane Ritz: One of the best flatbreads I've ever had.
David Watkins: Smooth Atmosphere for a Cocktail or Bite to Eat, Nice Spot to start your Evening Off!!
Gee-Aye Gee: Good drinks and atmosphere!
Lucretia Tramill: Entwined is a step above the places in Evansville. They are comparable to places in Chicago, New York, LA. The service was excellent. Our server was Tyler. He kept our drinks flowing. No long wait. The owner is personable, hard working. The owner should teach other bar owners how it’s done. Monty Skelton performed here tonight which was icing on the cake.
Donna Winkler: Great food ..Wonderful atmosphere..Superb service...The music was a little loud to talk over...
Beth Hendricks: Impressed with decor, service & food. The waitress was able to answer questions, knew the menu. Always impressed when owner assist the waitress. Can't wait to visit this place again.
Andrea Paulnitz: Wonderful service, PHENOMENAL food. Seriously blown away by the quality. The cocktails are fun too
ny visning: Great wine portions and selection, service, and atmosphere
Tyler Moore: The mushroom Flatbread was our favorite along with a few different cocktails we tried. Was a little loud but great night out.

Schymik's Kitchen: what do users think?
Danielq Watzlavik: Awesome local place with an amazing staff and leadership. We’ve been several times and are always impressed.
Nathan Hause: My girlfriend and I decided to try Schymik's for our Valentine's dinner tonight, 2/14/23. We had an 8:30 reservation, walked in at 8:15, and were seated promptly. Our waitress greeted us promptly, seemed very pleasant, and let us know she'd be back for our order. She returned a short while later, took our order, and continued checking on other tables. Fairly soon afterwards, the hostess brought our dinner to our table. Our dinner was delicious, however, our service was disappointing. Our waitress checked on every table in our room multiple times but never stopped by our table a single time while our glasses sat empty. Eventually, the hostess was in our room and we were able to ask for refills. We finished our dinner and waited a while longer before our waitress showed up and gave us our check. We enjoyed the food but felt we were ignored. This was quite a disappointing experience for a special occasion.
David Johnson: I honestly was expecting a lot more from this place. I got the apple pork dish that I can't remember the name of, and my table ordered the seafood pot pie and a couple other things. The menu was very limited, the food is all priced at a premium, but the taste was okay at best. And whoever thinks that you need to consume 2lbs of pork to feel luxurious may need to examine what a high end experience feels like. The seafood pot pie tasted like chicken, and at $33 or something that's a bit unfortunate. The drinks were great. Servers were great. But I wouldn't go back until something changes.
Susan Cooper: Eight friends went for birthday brunch and had a great time. Our server, Addy, was very friendly and explained every beverage on the brunch drink menu. We had the Irish coffee drink, the Brunch Punch, a bucket of Mimosas and Bloody Mary's at our table. I loved the Brunch Punch & the other beverages got rave reviews as well. Entrees included Evansville Hot Brown (very good), Shrimp & Grits, and Sausage & Gravy biscuts. The individuals who got the sausage & gravy said it had too much sausage for their tastes. The standout on the menu was the Brunch cheeseburger which comes with a wedge of grilled Brie, when it's mashed down with the bun the cheese oozes nicely. I've enjoyed every meal at Shymiks and highly recommend the Pimento Cheese appetizer which appears to be held together by magic, because there doesn't seem to be any mayo in it. It's served with tortilla strips that are dusted with a spicy seasoning. So good!Parking: Parking is available in a small public lot behind the Haynies Corner fountain of across the street next to Sauced! or on the street.Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps on the exterior and interior of the restaurant. The bathrooms are on the second floor.
Cat Sparling: Top notch restaurant! We were happily greeted and seated. Service was professional and food came out quickly. We got a little bit of everything from the soup du jour, seafood pot pie and pork chop. I saw a cheesecake go by so I had to order on myself and I’m glad i did! There’s was a caramel or dulce de leche shell on top - so good! Our 8 and 5 year old gobbled everything up as well.
Jeff Foxworthy: Came for date night on a Saturday night. The place was fairly busy on both floors with large groups. Only one server tending to the downstairs which led to a long wait time for drinks and ordering. However, once we got our food it was worth the wait. I ordered a pea pasta with shrimp, crab, and clams with a butter sauce. Hands down best dish I’ve had from here.If you’re looking for a nice date night spot and don’t mind spending a little bit then this is your place. Great food, great atmosphere and great staff
Dave Swan: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Danielle Lipking: Delicious food ! Beautiful presentation ! Didn't catch our waitresses name, she had short reddish hair. She was amazing and so sweet ! Food was phenomenal ! Everything was great quality. One of my new favorite places ! The blackened mahi mahi was incredible ! Thanks for the wonderful dinner!
Chad Bruce: We attended our company Christmas party at Schymik's and were impressed! From drinks all they way through to dessert, we were not disappointed. We had a wedge salad, filet, and asparagus and they were all top-notch. The filet was one of the best I've had. The chocolate torte for dessert was decadent. We will be booking for one of their upstairs experiences very soon!
Lisa Moore: Spontaneously dined for brunch on a rainy, fall Sunday. Service was personable and very attentive and the food was delicious - very flavorful. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options and even a few vegan options.
Kimmy Nurse: Had the quiche of the day- sausage and caramelized onions. It was very good! Served with fruit and tomato/onion salad that went very well with the quiche.
Matthew Huss: Great food, loved the atmosphere.
Michelle Laswell: Food is amazing. Staff is always friendly.
Lorna littrell: First time dining here tonight…our meal was amazing! I had crab cakes and my husband had the grouper. We will definitely be back! Service was awesome!
Samantha Buente: This is my favorite place to brunch. They make a perfect Benedict egg and always cook my special order bacon beautifully! The staff is excellent and the ambiance is delightful.
T K: Not open when it’s listed to be open. Made special trip to our disappointment.
Joaquín Navarro: Is just the best food in Evansville
Joana Reising: Absolutely amazing food and delicious cocktails. Definitely a one of a kind place.
Kat Garrett: I unfortunately had the worst service I've have experienced while eating out yesterday. I'm not writing this to be a prude. I'm writing this so hopefully the manger/owner can step up and do something. I had reservations at noon, and I arrived at 11:50. I was seated, waiting for my dad. I was able to order a drink. My dad arrived 10 mins later, and the waitress didn't come to take our order until 15 mins later. We both ordered the NY strip steak. At this point, the restaurant was starting to clear out; there isn't that many tables to begin with. Not only did it take another hour for our food to come out, our waitress didn't come by once. Not to offer a refill, not let us know what was going on. The manger had to come by to let us know what was going and offered us a 50% discount, which was not even applied at the end, and to finally refill our drinks. This was my first time visiting and I probably won't be back. I go to Sauced probably once a week as it's my favorite place to dine in Evansville, and I have never had a bad service there once and the food is always excellent. Hope Schymicks can get it together soon because this was a huge disappointment.
Brittany Monroe: We went there for Father's day brunch. Staff was very pleasant. I ordered the hot brown, and it was pretty good. I am looking forward to trying other food items next time we go back.

She was very knowledgeable about the menu from front to back. We chose Thai pineapple chicken with rice and the Birria noodles for our main course. Also has appetizer and dessert which was fabulous. Pricing was cheaper than we expected our bill to be after all the food we received and such good service. We will definitely return soon to try other options ❤️
Shawna Ayers: Parking was easy. The atmosphere is definitely chill and classy. We ordered the vegan mushroom bun, they're well seasoned, soft, and delicious. Then we both ordered the vegan ramen, it was absolutely fantastic. Well seasoned broth, not spicy but perfectly salty. I highly recommend stopping here if you have the chance. I’m not much of a dessert person but I couldn’t stop eating this! Walton's Smokehouse and Southern Kitchen: what do users think?
Ashton McBride: food was pretty alright, the platter with the jalapeños, cheese curds, and brisket was really good; however i found a hair in my food and was told it didn’t look like human hair and they didn’t do anything about it which is all fine and dandy except i haven’t been around animals so that was disappointing… and the wait staff was pretty standoffish which is off putting. Overall they have alright food but it’s nothing special. Don’t make a night out of it.

Valerie Cobb: My husband and I went with friends and let's start off by saying you seat yourself and everything is self service. Where they do that? My husband and I got brisket plate and it had no taste no seasoning whatsoever. Everything was cold or lukewarm. I will never ever go back!!!! The worst $35 ever spent. 😫Food: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Sara Russell: First time for our party of three. If you like BBQ you will like Walton's. You order at the counter and then you are served at your table. Decor was interesting. Staff nice and on top of things. Large servings so keep that in mind. Will return.Parking: Difficult to get out of parking lot.
Miranda Reed: Great smoked meat and a nice selection of sauces. Friday afternoon for lunch not real crowded. Relaxing and friendly atmosphereFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jenna Burch: We came in and waited at the order counter and none of the staff would even acknowledge us. It was a very strange experience. I saw another review describing a similar experience, the difference with us was that we were all at the order counter ready to put in an order and staff walked right on by several times. When we asked if we could order they flat out ignored us. We just ended up leaving. If you don’t want to serve customers you should just lock your door.
John staten: Good food. Pure Kaos each time we visit. Sad to see with a place with so much potential.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Sandwich …More

Mommy Dillard: I was not greeted or acknowledged. The place was nearly empty. The seating for wait staff was not clear, I did not place an order due to poor customer service.Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Jennilyn Brown: Honestly, was let down. The Mardi Gras dinner buffet was no where near $22 worth of food. Not 1 of the 3 special "night only' buffet items was available. I ordered a drink but nobody wanted to make it. The place was definitely catering to the 2 couples I saw that had ordered a whole bottle of wine. Why even bother having a drink menu. I won't be back.
Lauren Craddock: Walton's used to be one of the best restaurants in Evansville but now that they’ve switched over to Walton’s Smokehouse it’s honestly just bad.
Jared Ransom: Well I can tell you this we will not go back! We talked to them on the phone, make reservations for a party and arrive with our party at the time they gave us. The owner comes out rude as all get out and says they don’t take reservations and the person that made the reservations will be dealt with! So needless to say our party left and went to a different restaurant that was more than happy to take our $1800 bill. Good luck keeping this place open with ownership like this. #betterplacestogo
John Chase: Came for the Mardi gras feast and the items on the bar are very lacking. The fried fish doesn't taste fresh at all. Not coming back. Food looks good but it's not. Wife feels same way about her pork sandwich.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Kimmy Nurse: Went there for the Mardi Gras buffet. I will say I should have known better. It was 1:20pm & the buffet ended at 2pm. But I wanted to sample Mardi Gras food so the buffet it was. It was terrible. It was picked over, dried out food. I know it was close to ending but there were others eating off the buffet. They did not bring out anything new or fresh. When we ordered(you order & pay first) it would have been nice if we had at least been warned it was over- before paying 38$ for 2 for such terrible food. If the food had been good it would have been totally worth it. Cannot recommend and was our first time there. Will probably not go back.
Steve Jefferson: Went in to Waltons and everything seemed fine untill what looked like the owner of the restaurant was in the kitchen yelling at his staff where me and my family could here it wow so unprofessional i would never tell anyone this place existParking: The parking is horrible
