John Goedert: I used to go to the Thorntons on South Green River Road all the time, but had to stop due to the chaotic nature of the business. They are routinely out of fountain drinks and hot dogs. One night there was almost a fight in the parking lot. Another night they were closed, presumably due to the lack of employees. They must have a hard time keeping employees, because there was somebody different every time that I used to go in there. Thornton on Green River Road has really gone down over the past year.

Mike Schaefer: I've been going to this location for a long while. The employees here are great, however the cooler is rarely fully stocked, often times out of a lot of the drinks I normally get. It's a pain that I have to go down the street for my normal drink. Also, I have to go down the street to get my cigarettes now, as they're almost always out of the most popular brand. One of the employees even said "that's our most popular selling cigarette." OK,.. So one would think that'd always be in supply. Very dissatisfied at this Thorntons location. Disappointed in Thorntons now.
Grant Lengacher: Always been a preferred gas and snack spot on my list. Competitive gas prices, as well as a large selection of drinks/snacks/etc. Always clean, service great. Highly Recommend.
Latonya Givens: I don’t get off work till sometimes midnight and appreciate them being open and having hot food well stocked all night. I see a lot of police officers there and nurses from the hospital so it must be busy all night. Staff members are wonderful at this location also.

Andrew Nelson: Little things add up: You cannot sell what you don't put out for sale. Every other Thornton's in town keep the Tornadoe's cooked and stocked; Not this one. Three employees on staff, IMHO they are nice as hell. Going off the fact that the bathroom lock hasn't worked in months, I have to wonder: lazy employees, or management/franchise ownership not ordering product?
John Boggs: Used to love Thortons until just now when I was at the one on S. Green River Rd in Evansville Indiana and I had run almost out of gas and managed to coast in and stop at a pump. Now I've never had ANY issue being out of gas at a gas station until now when I guess when you're out of gas and waiting for someone to PayPal you a some money, they call out over the speaker that you've been there 30 minutes and you've got to get off of the property because you're loitering! Now mind you I seen 4 vehicles total in that 30 minutes and a 14 pump gas station so I must have been holding up a pump costing them business🤔 Thanks Thornton's I'm sorry I couldn't have run out of gas at a more inconvenient place convenience store. Never will I go there again.

Hades Crow: Pulled up to get gas, and while waiting for the pumps to reboot I got a phone call. Took exactly 11 minutes, but about 7 through an officer showed up. Apparently, in the 10-15 minutes I was there, the workers deemed it appropriate to call the police on me.

Samantha Mitchell: Paul the cashier has gotten mine and my significant others change wrong multiple times of small and large amounts of money and then it’s an issue to get it back instead of just looking at the cameras to see what I handed the cashier we have to wait hours so he can put the issue on another cashier and he has done this more than 5 times. This man probably shouldn’t be on a register handling money. Other than that he’s friendly and good to talk to. Also, other than that the store is great other cashiers are awesome, but this is an ongoing issue that needs resolved

Caymen Syder: The store is pretty much like every other location which admittedly I'm a big fan of. The 3 star rating was due to the dirty racks where the drinks are held, they have got mold colonies on each shelf. The staff is tremendous when they check you out and really do a good job moving along, the only issue I've had is a girl telling me about her financial troubles because of a raise and claiming the governed wants her to stay poor yet they provide assisted housing, ma'am I'm just trying to get my drinks for the day and hit the road (also get a clue, you sound ridiculous).
