David Johnson: I am super excited to watch this company lose all their business now that AT&T has brought Fiber Optic to the area. Spectrum service has always been spotty, the routers always broke and they will try to get you to pay premium prices for all of it. I'm THRILLED that I never have to use this company again.
Jesse F: Waited 45 minutes for 4 workers to help 3 customers. In that time they managed to finish with 1 customer and start on a 2nd. There were 4 people between me and the customers they were helping. Didn't have 3 hours to kill so I'm just mailing the equipment. Every employee except one young lady seemed like they were absolutely lost. Good luck getting any help at all at this location. I feel like I should add this was a Thursday afternoon, not even peak hours. A year ago, there were plenty of 4 and 5 star reviews. To whoever at Spectrum might read this, ask yourself what changed. There was zero management going on. Nobody even addressed the store full of people to let us know why everything was taking so long. It's not that hard to say "sorry, this is taking longer than expected and we'll be with you shortly" or "let's take the 6 of you waiting to return equipment and get you out of here real quick" instead of waiting on the incompetent employees spending an hour to get somebody a phone. Glad I'm returning my equipment and will never have to deal with this place again.
Parker Wilhite: Walked in & not once was I told “will be with you in just one moment”. All I received was a smile & I sat there waiting until I realized this was a waste of my time. Customer service was garbage & from what I could tell the customer service reps didn’t know much about the service they provided.

Adri Rogers: I went in yesterday and asked for internet. The guy was very friendly and helpful and gave me my modem and router and sent me on my way to set it up. Today I woke up and had the bill on my app—I was being charged $137 for internet AND tv! I was never talked to about tv AT ALL. I never asked for tv. I wasn’t even told that I was getting tv service. I just spent an hour on the phone with customer service trying to get the tv off my account. There’s also a promotion that our internet should have only been like $90 and he didn’t give us that either. Nice customer service lady fixed it, but I am extremely upset that I was packaged into something that was charging me so much more than my bill should have been without even being informed.

Had to call and get another one sent. Tried to use the cards after activating... they don't even work. Call and spoke with 3 levels of supervisors. Explained I was done with the cards and I NEED them to put the 70$ back on my account the way it was taken out, that I have two kids to take care of and other bills to pay. No one cared. They offered me nothing. Disgusting company.
pat fisher: My daughter in law has this company. When my son passed away she has had nothing but trouble with her bill and they keep over charging her every month. Why do company's do this to people when they lose a husband or wife. They are the worst customer service we have ever dealt with. every month they say they have it straightened out and the bill comes and it is still wrong. I know because I'm paying her bills. Stay away from this company. They will rip you off.

First worker cut all the wires to our house satiate, then damaged our tv, and then they Leave a cord across our drive away and says it can’t be buried until almost A month after the line was laid after already canceled once. After a month they decided maybe we should send a tech out to look at it. I asked when could they come. I was told at least 3 weeks at the earliest. The trend I'm seeing in my area of Kentucky (Henderson, connecting to South Tower) is usually every Saturday it seems connectivity drops for a few hours. At the moment, I (and others) have not had internet service for 5 straight days with no fix in sight. That's what I said, 5 days.The worst of this is Watch Communications won't talk to me, the customer. I call nearly every day looking for a status update. Either the techs aren't being updated by management or they've been told to say nothing because it's the same thing every call I make (which always involves a very long wait time) it's being worked on.Why can't they give honest feedback? Why do they need to lie, through omission? I'm a retired IT Professional. Companies that treat their customer base like this soon discover they no longer have a customer base. Word to the wise. Mom Momert: Watch Communications sucks big time. I've been trying to get my internet moved from old address to new address since June 6, 2022 and not getting any satisfaction for any of my calls. Looking for someone new.
Amber Pride: If zero stars was an option I would have given that. We have been without internet for 40 days and when I call, I have been given a different answer every time. No resolution dates given but they still want their money. If I had any other internet option I would drop them in a second.
Sabrina Deeg: They took over our Fiber internet provide. Never had a problem when we had the original provider. Ever since they took over have had it down 4 times. Everytime I have had to call to ask about it no one seems to know what I am talking about because they are mostly wireless or Satalite provider. They have to send out a tech guy to come fix it which they have said it will take a week at most to come check it out other times they have had to call back giving again a day or two call back. I have auto pay and think this is unexceptionable service. Someone should know what is wrong, when someone can come help, and a easy way to report and find out if others in your area are effected. I can't get internet with anyone else I'm in a rural area.

James M.: Horrrible company and poor service. They have now cut my invisible fence line twice and then have no urgency to fix it when called. In addition, they cut our xfinity service at the same time today, which I am still without. What happened to verifying underground cables before just helping yourself to someone’s property that isn’t even a customer? Maybe you should knock on the door and ask questions before digging? When you cause damage you should address it the same day. It was no problem for your guys to be out in our yard at 9:00 PM when you were burying cable in the neighborhood, which tells me where your priorities lie. If they treat others like this, I would never recommend this service and know that I will not be switching!
Daniel Killeen: Be very careful with these guys. I canceled my service with them back in July and they continued to charge me for internet through August and September. I asked them why I was being charged and they couldn't provide any support to why I had an outstanding balance. Monitor your bills and invoices, they like to charge extra with no explanation.

Presley Gruwell: Metronet is installing in our neighborhood and has completely trashed our yard. After countless phone calls to the company, messages on your Facebook page, and a damage ticket submitted last Tuesday, we’ve still heard nothing back about this issue. I’ve now wasted hours of my own time to try to get this resolved. I will give until Monday evening before I contact an attorney to file a lawsuit for damages.
Brian Tussey: Cancellation woes. Trying to cancel my internet service but wont cancel until they find the equipment they asked me to return. Finally cancelled two weeks after returning equipment. Customer service reps were very helpful, but equipment return policy needs to be updated with better instructions, instead of just "return the equipment to Metronet".

I worked for them for almost a year before finally giving up my delusion that they are a new company going through growing pains and started refusing to buy into their word salad abusive mentality. They consistently blame their employees for upper management's mistakes, fail to provide decent service to customers, and take government grants with empty promises of bringing internet to rural communities. 90% of my time in tech support was dedicated to helping customers either fix the defective off brand router they were supplying or sending techs out to repair lines that were buried less than an inch below ground. The other 10% was split between getting yelled at due to billing problems or outages due to metronet's refusal to put any effort into maintaining or securing their network. As an example, two entire days were spent fielding calls about a company wide outage caused by a simple DDOS attack that brought everything down. Including the internal systems. I personally had to file a complaint over multiple OSHA violations that were brought up to my leadership but never acted on. The company has so much potential, but as it stands, it's an embarrassment to think they have bought the majority of the Courtier & Press building. As someone who has worked for much larger and ruthless internet companies, beware if they ever try to provide service to Evansville, do not get into a relationship with this abusive half baked joke of a business.

Thomas Veeck: Overall Metronet is a great place to work. Co workers are helpfull and management is fair. The pay is above average for the area and being an entry level position. Customers are generally easy to deal with compared to other comparable positions. There is room for growth but you must be ambitious and hard working.Training was adequate and they give you time to become familiar with services and systems.I was granted temporary permission to work from home which was great, as i did not feel comfortable being indoors during recent events.I would still recommend Metronet, I was offered a similiar position with another company but was a permanet remote position.

Jeff Boyers: Just bought the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra yesterday with 256gb. I was not aware that they had one with 512gb until after I purchased my phone if I knew that ahead of time I would have got the one with 512gb

Tamsin Holland: Just switched to their mobile. Their phones are grossly over priced. They were selling my phone for $349.99 everyone else had it for $171. It took me 6-7 days for number to port over, error was on their side not my old service. Haven't been able to use my phone for a whole week yet. They decreased the phone price from $349.99 to $252. Asked since I haven't even had my phone for a week if I could have the now price. They said no but I could exchange it but I would have to pay a restocking fee which wouldn't save me any money after I pay the restocking fee. DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR PHONE SERVICE. Go somewhere else for your phone.

They couldn’t send a tech out until Monday afternoon and said we would be compensated on our bill. Got the bill- no credit was applied- we had called spectrum to discuss it and they were only going to credit us $7.25- which we said was completely unacceptable. They managed to bump it up to $10 but considering the inconvenience of being without tv or internet for 4 days- I feel like the compensation could have been more reasonable for long time customers.

Dan Oates: I had Wowway internet for 20+ years with only an occasional outage. I changed when Asound bought them because of terrible transition. My experience with Spectrum has been a nighmare. I have outages all the time, cable is laying on the ground in the easement and my installation to my house was amateur at best. I am getting notices about system failures and technician wants to send me a new modem. I have spend 3+ hours today trying to get something done and I have gotten no where. Has anyone else had more success trying to get things fixed? If i could give them a no star rating, that is what they deserve.
