Kathy Greulich: Oh my, what a marvelous experience! We haven't lived in Evansville for 30+ years and I'd forgotten what a great family restaurant tastes like. They have this marvelous breakfast for $6 - two eggs, bacon or sausage, toast or two pancakes, and orange juice! (The OJ is one of the best parts of the whole breakfast!) Of course I had to add hash browns because what is breakfast without hash browns? It was so good that we ate there three times in 6 days! WE WILL BE BACK!!

Chris Lee: This place has awesome breakfast. If you are too fancy this might not be your cup of tea. This has a sixties era diner feel to it. The place is not large at all. It is very comfortable and you do not need to get fancied up to eat here just come as you are. The staff are very friendly. The food will come out quickly hot and fresh. Plenty of parking in the back.

Cheryl Voight: This is a difficult review for me to write because I am a major proponent of family owned businesses. However, this particular visit to Turoni's was majorly disappointing. We ordered a Margarita pizza which is typically and historically crust, sauce, sometimes tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil leaves. What we received was nowhere near. The version of Margarita pizza at Turoni's is made with Monterey jack or some other greasy making pizza. It was terrible. I sopped up so much grease with napkins that we just asked to box it up and couldn't eat it (our son ate it at home after all the grease was sopped up). It was our fault that we didn't read the fine print description which clearly described a very different style Margarita pizza. Our server was fine but not apologetic at all about our disappointment. $50 later because we also had beverages, an appetizer and still have 20% tip (our lowest tip %), our experience was a flop. We won't be back unfortunately.

Kelsea Parrish: My family and I come here often but the last few times we have been kinda disappointed. We’ve been asked to move tables to make room for larger parties almost three times now. For example this evening, my family wanted to meet for dinner. We got there before the dinner crowd to ensure a seat. The only seat available at the time was those at a community table so we sat on the inside. After a while, STILL EATING, the manager came and asked us to move tables to make room for a larger party even after being told we weren’t done with our dessert. We decided to not order any more dessert, we boxed up our food and left. It was just frustrating because as paying customers, who wants to be asked to move seats just for a larger group of other paying customers. I believe there’s just better ways to handle this. My family only saw a 4chair table open so we decided to go outside and say goodbye due to it being too cold to sit outside. We won’t be going back for a while. This is getting ridiculous being the third time asked to move.

Luckily they had some great options for me, the salad, roasted vegetables, and Thai chicken with white rice were all so tasty. They also had a vegetable pizza.Parking: There was ample parking.Dietary restrictions: They had a knowledgeable person who helped me figure out my options due to my dietary restrictions.

It was such a great experience for us with their business.I grew up in Evansville and thought Turino's (I still love it...so many great memories) was the best thing on earth until I moved to Ohio and discovered all kinds of pizza. But their pizza yesterday rivals any pizza anywhere. Lauren Singleton: Incredible food and atmosphere! There are multiple options for any dietary restrictions you may have. We've eaten at Pangea multiple times and every time the quality, food, and atmosphere are perfect! Even if it's close to perfect the staff makes sure you are taken care of and will do their very best to make things right. They are one of the few places that have GF options that don't taste like cardboard as well! I recommend Pangea to everyone I meet!

Shealy Todd: We have always had the best experiences but last night surpassed them all. We walked in with three kiddos and the owner immediately met us at the door to let us know it was front seating only as the back had been reserved for a party. He stated it sounded worse than it was as the tables flip quickly. We were skeptical but already had our minds set on the food (if you know, you know).A few minutes into waiting, our youngest had fallen asleep on my shoulder as we stood there. The owner then walked up, grabbed our waters and table numbers and ushered us into a table in the back that he had been setting up. We were gone before the party ever arrived and enjoyed every minute of our dinner. It was so thoughtful and so kind. We had already purchased food and decided to stay, but he did it any way. We would’ve been back regardless but I wanted to share that it isn’t just their food that sets the restaurant a part from others ❤️

Gene Travers: Always good food. I got the turkey and dressing with a bowl of vegetable beef soup to start. The soup was so good! If I knew it was that good I would have just gotten a couple of bowls of that for my dinner! The rolls are, as always, outstanding and the strawberry butter is to die for. The fried okra was on point as well. The ceasor salad would have been better with a different ceasor dressing. The service was fantastic! They were busy, but were able to seat us quickly.We're not familiar with downtown Evansville, but enjoyed driving up Main Street. They've done quite a bit of work to make their downtown area appealing. This restaurant is in a restored home and they've done an amazing job converting it into a restaurant.Our waiter was great. We gave service four stars instead of five, but I don't believe it was his fault. I would ask for him again without hesitation. I just believe he was given too many tables. But even then, he handled the situation well and deserved the extra tip.The food was the star, though. Can't wait to get back and try lunch and dinner, because breakfast was an absolute hit!

Destiny Folsom: I really enjoy their food and soda my two boys, which are 10 years old & 2 years old.Service/Servers and the workers are always nice and really sweet to the kids as well, sometimes just sometimes and it happens to everyone myself as well when I was a server so I'm by far not complaining we still go back never once have I gotten upset. Understandable everyone's human and I did it to... So as I was saying a few times we've gotten something wrong or not gotten something or drinks wrong or ticket wrong not a big deal... AT ALL.. they're very busy when we go SO THATS UNDERSTANDABLE SO that's really not a big deal. WE LOVE IT.Parking: Of course when you go on the weekend and they're busy they have a big parking lot but sometimes you have to look for a spot.. I feel this is common sense.

Chris Shimboff: I have been to this restaurant 3 times now to gauge their food and service. I ordered 3 different meals and have had 3 different waitresses all 3 times. The food was okay. I did feel there were a few things that they took pride in, but I feel there is far too many cans being opened to complete meals. That's a shame, because it really negates the things they do work hard on. Customer service was fantastic. I can honestly say, the waitresses I ended up with, were all consistently knowledgeable and friendly. Yes, I know it's in the name... but how many times have you ever gone to Burger King to see the king? Pffff!Anyway, all jokes aside... great place with a great atmosphere.. foods not bad. Great experience overall for me.
