Community Action Program of Evansville: what do users think?
Billionaire: CAPE doesn't answer the phone at all.
Caseda Woods: I turned in my application the beginning of January. It's been past the 60 days and still no help. I've called a few times and the only information that I get is if I get disconnected then I can receive help or I have to make an appointment. I wasn't aware of any appointment when I turned in my application.
Bianca Nichole: I turned in my Energy assistance application in the beginning of November 2022 and attempted to call in January 2023 since I had not heard anything and I also left a message with my information for someone to call me back and I have yet to get a letter or call back regarding my application status and it’s 3/20/2023.
Keristen Sisk: I just wanted to brag on a employee named Keta who was patient, polite, and took the time to talk with me after speaking with someone who was not and very rude I had applied through cape Oct. 2022 and kept getting the run around through different people or told the same thing for multiple months long story short Keta took in consideration since I had been waiting so long for a response on my application and things changing with the process since so many people applied for energy assistance being I will be giving birth in a short period of time due around there next in person appointments she talked to her supervisor and arranged for me not to have to take the risk on coming in and I was able to have my papers reviewed through the phone I can't say how grateful I am for this women to do that for me exspecially when it can get hard to walk near the end of pregnancy thank you so much its the things like this that feel like a miracle.People like her make company's that help others look great
C A Burris: Very hard workers. Seems overloaded.
J Funkhouse: Said they would help pay my freinds electric bill, literally just didnt pay and told them there was nothing they could do to help after screwing them over. "Helping people" Ironic
Fleisha Sims: CAPE has helped me and my family. To work towards the goals of becoming a Life Coach and a upstanding citizen throughout my community.
Susanne Hall: Update below: I to "snail mail" my application this year. I have not been able to verify it was received and have not had a credit on my utility bill. I understand the volume has gone up for you to process, I want to verify my app was received very worried my personal info is out there somewhere???Update...I was able to speak with someone today...very pleasant and helpful they answered my questions and verified what I was asking. They have been swamped (understandable) they are processing as quickly as possible.
Kendra Baker-Childers: I applied for energy assistance like I do every year. I turned in all paperwork need the 1st day they started taking applications. I still haven't heard anything.ive been down to office 3x and nobody would talk to me. So here it is Feb.19 2022 and I still haven't got help or even talked to. A couple of other people have said the same thing the program ends in March I believe march 15th.
Karina Shamell: I turned my application in November 1 and here it is January 24 and I still haven't heard anything from CAPE. I had a disconnect notice and I went there and the old lady that works the front desk is absolutely RUDE. I asked if they could help me and she RUDELY stated they won't help me until they get to my application. I have been getting assistance from them for years, and every year is a longer wait time. Something needs to be done ASAP!
Tracy Kenney: Trying to get thru to a person to talk to is impossible. I have tried and all I get is to leave a message. I want to speak to someone in Energy Assistance to find out the status of a person that I am the Representative of.
Sylvia Tapp: They meet "Many Needs" of our Community with Wonderful Programs!!!
Leah Jones: Very very very unprofessional. I was a former employee and the way they handle things now is very unprofessional. I have asked to speak to employees and never got a call back. When I finally spoke to Gary Allan Glass he was very defensive, rude and u professional. He told me that’s he know for a fact that I could Call Alice Weathers all I want and she will do nothing about it because he has worked with her for 20 years. I asked him why he was being so rude and he told me that he has other people to talk to and I am holding him up. I believe that if their employees are not held accountable that they should not continue to receive our tax payer funding. I asked to be forwarded to his supervisors voicemail and he said call back myself and hung up. I don’t feel they should get away from treating the people they serve so rude.

American Red Cross: what do users think?
Katreina.Heart_soul Bell Burton: A great organization working together to help those in need .
Tyler Dixon: Looks clean. Undergoing renovations at this time. The staff was nice. No complaints. It's right off of the Lloyd expy. Restrooms are clean.
Andy Granderson: awesome people work there, they can always use the help
Christine Thomas: They helped me so much after losing everything in a fire. Thank you so much Red Cross!
Wes Passick: I will never waste my time trying to donate here again. They straight up do not want to take blood donations. Three or four workers with nobody else in there and they wouldn't take my blood cause I was too early for my appointment.
Kristy: Great way to get your CPR or BLS certification
Frank Howard: They suck the life right out of me. Really, I'm a regular platelets donor here and love the staff in the blood donation group. They are like family.
Mandi Bee: Unprofessional. Cancel donations without warning. Drove out to find the location closed. Never donating again.
Terri Torres: Idiot phlebotomists! In the middle of a blood product shortage the staff is incapable of finding veins and do not use Vein Finders in order to assist them. Frustrating and ridiculous!
Rita Goodall-Hulsey: The ladies are very professional & definitely know what they're doing
Amanda Jo: Makes me feel so good when I donate blood. It never takes long and they're all good "stickers". I highly suggest anyone who is able to go and give blood. It can save up to 3 lives per donation. The feeling if good is unexplainable . Happy Holidays!!
David Ritchie: donated blood for the 3rd time this year . The people there are very nice and accommodate
Bull J: Retards. Wanted to donate blood. They didn't want it. Said only wanted platelets? 2 hours instead of 20 minutes. Found somewhere else
Lena Williamson: very clean very helpful an always willing to lend a helpful hand
Super Woman: Love the staff! Meta rocks, she does awesome and is so positive ☆☆☆☆☆
Chris Guccimane: Didn't give me money but kept my blood. Stuck me with a "needle" the size of a straw. Shlurp
Alex Rockman: Great purpose friendly staff. Everyone should donate and hope we never need their services.
Julie Phelps: Hate it when for whatever reason I get denied when I go to donate
William Timson: Saving lives one donation at a time.
Christopher Gibson: Felt it was not convenient for me to be a walk in. Had multiple employees present with no wait. Needle stick was horrible. They missed and had to dig around. After donation was a joke. Leave as you please without a time limit. I remember why it has been over 10 yrs since I have last donated with the red cross. After this, it will almost be worth the drive to TH to visit Indiana Blood Donation Center.
Debra Adams: Great staff!!!
