Roger Wagoner: Showplace Cinema is Definitely a Great Theater to enjoy a movie. Everyone was kind and helpful for me to see the Movie I picked, I will be returning for another Great experience. Thanks to the staff from beginning to the end It was Great.

The One: Love the fact it has a bar and recliners in all theaters when you're watching the movie

None Required: Decent theater chain in the area to watch a movie. However most of the rooms are dated and floors not the best. The seats at our local AMC are much better and comfortable. Not sure if showplace is just cheap but the leg rests on the seats here have no material. Just generic plastic. The royal suite theater was a joke. The tray is too high from the seat and just in the way TBH.

Steven Groves: Well I realized it’s been years since I’ve been. Never had to pick my seats when I got my tickets. Was still a good experience and friendly staff.

Alyson: I have been going to this theatre for a long time and today it was absolutely disgusting. Floor and seats were dirty. I don’t think they have ever cleaned under the seats with the amount of popcorn you can see when going up the stairs. Cup holder was nasty. Bathrooms were also very gross. I’d rather drive across town to amc then come here anymore. Sad.

Stephen Smith: Overpriced everything. They deliberately put the popular movies away from the concessions so you cannot get refills. Their near monopoly on the tristate is a shame. I pray for a second AMC to open.

Anthony Bowes: Horribly designed theatre. Employees are incompetent. They sell gift cards that apparently haven’t been working for awhile but it’s a “temporary problem”. Go to AMC on the west side. Much nicer and operated by a competent corporation.

David Bakken: A nice place for a movie. Clean, but not perfectly.I habitually have popcorn at the cinema. The quality of the popcorn has not been consistent. This time the popcorn was a rather household quality. I expect premium popcorn given the premium price.Excellent seats are almost always available. This time my date and I had the screen to ourselves. I've never had this happen before.

Shatiana Boyd: Brought my daughter here to celebrate her birthday but we were very disappointed. We saw a 7:15 movie and by 7:45 the concession was completely closed so no popcorn refills for us. I paid for a medium combo and found out later they offered free popcorn with a ticket purchase but that was never communicated. There was no butter in the any of the machines and the pink lemonade was also out in both dispensers and when I asked if it could be replaced she just looked at me and walked away after standing there for 10 minutes with no communication I settled for soda which I really don’t drink. We were going to stay after the movie and play some games in the lobby but couldn’t find anyone to help us with questions about closing hours or anything. She was so disappointed with this Birthday experience but at least we enjoyed the movie. Nice and clean theatre great atmosphere but staff has some issues for sure!

Rodney Groff: Have never been here, this is the 1st time. The theater itself is kind of small, where we saw the movie, which the movie was not much of a movie we didn't care for it, but the experience was OK. The seat I was sitting in was kind of messed up but other than that it is an ok place to go see a movie. But the Lobby is more like an Arcade, as you'll see in the pictures. It's kind of neat. I'd recommend taking kids there, very kid friendly.

Jennifer Buroker: Haven't been to the Northside in awhile. Pleasantly surprised of all the updates! They have games now like a mini Chuckie Cheese. Still receive your free popcorn with admission which is a HUGE plus! Cheaper also than EAST! May not be as big or options but if the movie is here I'd HIGHLY recommend!

Megan Spayd: Great movie theater. The staff is friendly and the facility seems pretty well maintained as far as movie theaters go. They also have a bunch of arcade games which is pretty cool. It can get a bit chaotic when it's busy, because the concessions counter is smack dab in the middle of all the arcade games. But it's a lively place with free popcorn, comfy chairs and cool games to boot. Def recommend for your movie days or nights!

Jerry Hart: Can't believe that you can go to the movies for such a low price. Nice seats with ample leg room. Good sound, and picture. Free popcorn the 3 times we were there. Additionally they have game machines for more entertainment options.

Brenda White: Love going to AMC Evansville 16 it's cheap on tuesday, only 5.00 for stubs members. It has nice recliner seating and is a very comfortable establishment but concessions are high. It pays to become a Stubs member because of the perks. You can get a large coke for the price of a medium and on your Birthday you get a free large popcorn etc. It's worth it

Nikki Raymond: Such a shame how bad this place has gotten, I worked there when they first opened. This place has gone down hill horribly. Dirty and everything is always broken. So now we drive across town to showplace. So much nicer. Hoping someone with some pride will get in there and fix it.
