They took our inground pool that sat empty for 8 years or more, (full of trees, roots of all sorts, busted concrete, broken drain, walls cracking) and turned it back into the pool it once was! They worked so hard in the hottest part of the summer to get it done in time so that we could still get to use it this year. The owner is so nice and helpful! He was straightforward and walked us through the entire process, and answered every question we had. Very honest people. :)

Stormy Weather: RPM has been in our neighborhood working at several homes all summer. I watched the crew install a neighbor's pool and decided to have them come and discuss installation at our home.Johnnie, the owner answered all of my questions, gave us a quote and the time frame on the wait and completion time.He and his crew showed up every day. They started early and stayed until usually dusk. They always made sure the work area was clean and ready to go the next day. The owner is working along side with his crew, which to me shows he cares about his business. They work as a team. Jonnie was very patient when it came time to showing how the equipment works.We are looking forward to many years of outdoor activities around the pool. I think my pool looks fabulous.

They said they would return to vacuum, then gave a lame excuses as to why it was not done (pool too cloudy, they said, not true). I have been waiting for days for them to return and when they did, they did not do what was actually agreed on. Save yourself the money and headache and go with a different company.

larry neale: Do NOT use F.T. Kelley! When I went there with a remnant unused sample of my existing pool liner, I was directed to a brochure and picked a liner in the brochure that appeared to be a perfect match to the sample that I brought with me. I asked her if I could see a sample of the liner in the brochure. She showed me some samples but the liner in the brochure I pointed to was not shown to me even after asking three times to see it. She said she did not have it. I left and a day or two later called them and ordered the liner that was in the brochure that matched my sample. When I went back to the store a few days later to look at paint for my coping, I noticed some sample liners by the door and looked through them curiously to see if the liner I had order was included in those samples. It was but it was way darker than the brochure. Not even close. They said it was too late that it was already ordered. When the liner came to their store I went and looked at it and it was indeed not even close to the brochure and my liner that I brought in as a sample. I had put $2,500 deposit down and they were only going to give me $800.00 of it back and I keep the liner. I told him it was their mistake that they did not have available to me a sample of the liner so I had to go by the brochure. I would have been okay with that if I simply had just changed my mind about the color. They didn't seem to care and would not budge. After two or three days of lost work time trying to find another Pool liner and willing to take a $1,700 loss, I shopped for other pool companies. Three of them had the exact liner color that I wanted and showed me samples of them. However, they would not be able to do the installation until June and I had planned an important family reunion then with out-of-town guests from as far away as Japan and St Louis. Frustrated about unreturned phone calls and loss work time, I called their office and had to resort to telling them If the owner did not call me in an hour or two, my next call will be to my attorney. The owner called me then and said there wasn't anything he could do other than described above. After arguing, he finally agreed to fill the pool up with water from a fire hydrant and not charge me for the water. Since I didn't have much choice and canceling my family get together over a liner color issue was not an option, I agreed to his offer and let him install the liner the next morning as originally scheduled. Although the liner didn't look as bad as I thought it was, it isn't even close to the color I wanted. I paid the remaining $668 balance. This could have all been avoided if I could have been shown the sample of the liner that was in the brochure before I ordered it. Their argument was that it says somewhere in fine print in the brochure that the colors may vary and that they couldn't be responsible for the printing of the brochure. Gee! That makes me feel better! I may consider after this first season with this dark dark liner, going ahead and replace the pool liner with the lighter color which I originally wanted. But definitely NOT using F.T. Kelley. I know color is just a matter of taste but I did not get what I wanted even after bringing to them my own sample. Through this entire event, I felt like they we're making me feel like I was unreasonable and not once was there an apology! Wow!What a marketing approach!Customer service is everything! Ft Kelly doesn't understand that.
