Ellen Baumholser: We went on little trip to hartke pool. I went there as a child and took my kids. Now today I was taking my great grandson. We had a wonderful day. The pool was clean & being attended to by the staff. I was particularly impressed with the fact you guys could accommodate a man in a wheelchair and lower him into the pool.

Kelsi Nash: It's a nice pool for older kids. They need a baby pool of some sort for littles. The sprinkler pad was FREEZING. Bathrooms are still gross. Also, they are cash only but you wouldn't know until you get all of the kids unloaded and inside. No ATM. It should be posted somewhere other than the chalkboard at the front desk
eric johnson: This is an Evansville treasure----a big, city pool with diving boards, guards that care (I have seen guards there be both helpful/kind and serious) and located in the middle of the East side next to a terrific park and a well-constructed ice rink. Management and staff are on point, the pool itself is clean and is the perfect size, but the city should invest in some modest accoutrements that are in keeping with other cities of the same size and modern sensibilities---such as shade/umbrella chairs and some working speakers for radio/music and announcements (they used to have music!) I do ---and have always----loved this pool.

Jessica McBride: It was OK. We did like that younger kids are required to take a swimming test before just being allowed to swim by themselves. The lifeguards were very helpful. The pool was clean. The bathrooms need ed a lot of work. And there wasn't a lot of variety as far as play things and depth. There is the nice floating bridge, a diving well, and a splash park. No shade.

Jessica Neal: Since this pool lost its slide it has nothing to offer that the other city pools don’t have (in fact less than), yet for my family of 4 to go here it was $5 more.Also, we chose here over the other pools because it was open until 6 and the other pools close at 5 yet they actually close at 5:30 even though all of their signs in the building say 6 and online it says 6.Another thing is none of the life guards are on the same page. I was sitting on the side of the pool when my son was going off the diving board for the first times and then after a 2nd life guard change I was told I couldn’t sit there and had to stand on the side of the pool. Also, that he couldn’t swim to me he had to swim to the ladder after he had been doing it for 15 minutes.

The swim lesson programs are great, my sons love it.However, you cannot close the recreation pool with zero notice, no change to website, no Facebook post, nothing. Twice now my family and I have tried to come on Saturday family time 12-5 only to show up and be told the pool will not open today. People plan their whole day around this, a number of others were turned away as well, it’s not fair to people. From now on I’ll call first, but we shouldn’t have to.

Caleb Burdette: We Was denied entry today and told I had to pay a 250 dollar deposit plus 6 per person for me and my 9 neices and nephews. It's a public pool I was their chaperone. I even had her bust out the regulations and I was well within the rules and she then looked me up and down and still told me we was not going to swim today and coming in entitled to swim was not going to fly. It's a public pool. What do you mean entitled. It's open to the public why would I not think we would not be aloud to swim. She said there was not enough life guards when there were only 7 people in the pool at the time of our arrival. The short heavy set nasty manager with dark black hair and the karen cut Is completely rude and has no business working around children raising her voice. She ruined My niece's birthday But don't worry because there's plenty of hotels with a lot nicer pools. It's sad that they took away 2 awesome public pools in Evansville to replace it with a very Blue nose ,yuppie , uppity Only halfway open to the public pool. Evansville and deaconess should all be ashamed

I miss Lloyd it may have needed work but much more practical for everyday use.. but hey I guess Evansville is going to become a swimming mecca or something lol
Max Roll: I've tried to take my son here twice now. First was this last Saturday we went and they were having competition swimming so it it was closed to the public. That I understand, it was Saturday, I didn't check in advance. The next day I called and asked if they would be open to the public today (Monday) and they said it would so we showed up again shortly after they opened, see a bunch of people going to swim so I actually think we're going to be able to swim too but no, they tell me there's competitive swimming going on and that the pool will only be open to the public from 12 to 3, which was 5 hours from then. I got a very phony apology and that was that, no swimming for my son. But he cheered right up when I took him to Burdette a little later.I was under the assumption that this acquatic center was supposed to replace Lloyd pool, which we went to all the time and never got turned away. This place sends me back on my first two attempts, after lying to me and not offering to make amends when my son had to walk out a second time in tears cuz he couldn't swim there. This town really needs another water park.

I think there should be some kinda of other system or put a time limit of being in there so other ppl can enjoy it too. I honestly wouldn’t do a monthly plan due to the lack of not knowing if you can or cannot use it.
Donna Winkler: We rented a party room..It was clean..It worked out nicely.All Furniture had wheels..So can configurate your own layout...It was clean and organized ...I Would have given 6 but parking it to far from entrence...Handicap is also way back on the side of the building...

Ronnie mclaughlin: This place was such a great pool, with very nice friendly people. My family and I would visit this pool on all the hot days to refresh and get out of the heat. Until this year, we aren't aloud to swim in this city pool. We have been told that its only for swim team. I don't understand how or why we the tax paying former patrons of the pool can only look at it. On days like today, 91 degrees July 7, 2021 12.00 o'clock PM. Its a shame that its funded by the public for the public, but clearly is being ran and operating as a private pool. I wish someone would do something to stop this before the summer is over.P.S. PLEASE OPEN THE POOL BACK UP TO THE PUBLIC !!! WE ARE BEGGING!!!!!! There isn't a soul in sight.

Desire' krohn: Life guards are rude. They are more concerned with one another than being respectful to kids. At least the one’s I encountered today. The pool is clean and fun and the fact that it is inexpensive and we can bring our own food is nice.

Jessica Holbrook: This is a massive improvement over the city pools I grew up with (in the late 90s to early 00s)!!! The pool is much larger and is sectioned off so that one side is shallow for young kids and has several water features (spray jets, mushroom spray fountain, bucket drop, and slide) and one side is deeper and includes a larger slide for older kids, teens and adults. There is plentiful shade including sections of the pool where you can sit in the pool but still be shaded. There are plenty of chairs available. The price cannot be beat - $2 for adults and children over 12 and $1 for children under 12. They also have plenty of free lockers, just bring your own lock. They are outside the bathrooms so you can see them at all times and it's unlikely anyone would be able to break into them without everyone seeing them.The only complaint I really had was that the bathrooms weren't great. They were very dark, toilet stall doors didn't latch, and the toilet stalls are the only place to change clothing without being out in the open. They have shower stalls but they don't have doors or curtains. They do have a family restroom that has a locking door but I think that's best left for families with multiple small children.Something to be aware of is that they do 15 minute mandatory safety breaks every so often. Everyone must leave the pool for 15 minutes. Kids can get kind of restless during that time but it's a great time to rehydrate, get a snack, and reapply sunscreen. You can bring a cooler with drinks and snacks and I definitely recommend that if you plan on being there more than an hour or two.I would definitely come back here in the future.
Joey McBride: Fabulous prices if you are on a budget. Need to make sure you bring your own snacks and drinks. It makes the day better plus the only thing that they have is a soda and water vending machine. Was not to crowded and they have the pool sectioned off just right. Plenty of life guards around.
Jessica McBride: Simply the best. It is a great place for little kids, middle school aged kids. Middle aged people. 🤣 There is something for everyone. The price cannot be beat. $4 for 1 adult and two teen year old. They even have a waterslide. Snacks are allowed. Which is nice for someone with little kids.
Deidre Dyson: 100% absolutely love this place cook four of our boys there and myself spent less than $10 and spent the entire day there with the kids playing left to eat lunch left our names at the front desk and we're able to come back in without having to repay just by checking in with our name and then spend the rest of the afternoon in the sun swimming with the kids love going here and we'll keep going back

A nice park with area to walk your animals or to be of peace. Not over packed . Not to far walking distance from multiple retailers. A for great place of peace of mind. D no bathrooms facilities

Rebecca Jackson: Nice and upkeeped, clean area. Love the amount of life guards and lay out. I wish they would post what type of pool toys and arm bands are allowed. Also they allow food and drinks. This time I brought some toys for my baby and 2 of them were "water guns" they are actually giant looking crayons that you pump up. I had no idea they were not allowed. A manager instead of explaining kinda just scolded us. ( remember there are no signs) I had let one other child borrow one and when I attempted to retrieve it she ran. There were other kids playing with similar toys. I guess she thought I was being stubborn so I got repermanded again and had to point out that MY child was out. They are not mine. She kinda stomps off with the toys. ( This was also the same lady who scolded me last time I was there for holding my baby in the sun. Umm she was shivering and it was only in the low 70's so I think I was fine. It was less than 10 mins. )I was able to talk to another manager who explained it. I was more than happy to follow any rules. But it would be nice to have this posted.

We purchased a new liner last season but when it was installed, it was cut a bit too large and had multiple wrinkles. Still very functional. AquaVida was good on their word and worked with the manufacturer who sent a replacement. The old new liner was replaced with the new new liner and within a day we were back in business for another season of summer fun! Mike Sutton: Our pool cover, water, and liner looked just like they did before they came to “open” our pool. Water still looked very cloudy 2 days later so when I checked levels it had zero chlorine. We had left chlorine tabs out for them and the chlorinator was empty. We essentially opened the pool ourselves after that with the help of a different store.After multiple phone calls with the receptionist and owner, Rob Thomas, it was clear they were going to deny any wrongdoing and kept telling me how efficient they are. They kept saying they wanted to “work with us” which just meant they wanted us to pay our entire bill immediately.Their price was already high before they charged for every chemical they put down that they had used. The total came out to almost double what we had previously paid.I strongly do not recommend using this company.Service:Swimming pool summerization
Stacie Nichols: UPDATE: Maybe i should have stated that the work was in Judy Skaggs' name but this is my home also.If you are so reputable and since we have an older pool then why wasnt it suggested to us to replace what we needed so our new expensive liner would not do this? That would have been helpful. Now we have an expensive liner that keeps doing this. I'm sure if you had work done like this and kept having issues you wouldn't be happy either.I am very disappointed with our $5000 liner that No More Problems installed 2 years ago. The summer following installation, our liner came loose and we called NMP to come fix it. The pool had only been used one season. They came out fixed it and then sent us a bill for around $165. I explained to them that it had nothing to do with anything we done and must be the install. Prior to the new liner we swam in this pool for years with an old liner that never once did this. Now, it is year 2 and we have 2 areas that are separating again! I will not call them because I don't feel I should pay for them to fix it. I would rather pay someone else. The main guy was rude to me on the phone also.Also, I personally know one of the technicians that left their company due to their poor customer service practices! I would not recommend them at all!! I wouldn't have given 1 star but I had to to write this review.

The service manager was out at my pool within two days and ran a couple test to see where the issue was and identified the problem almost immediately. When I called to explain, just to inform them, I was told how I was incorrect. I went to another company for my pool closing and they just as great a job, AT HALF THE PRICE!

Brian Williams: I live 80 miles away and needed a new pool pump. I called over to see if they had it in stock even sent an email to make sure I was getting what I needed they said yes so I drove over to pick it up hurrying before they closed. Get here and it was “Oh we don’t have that in stock” after the lady had told me they had just gotten a whole truckload in on the phone. So thanks for the bait and switch.It was the Heyward 1.5HP.

Eduard C Hanganu: Nice and quiet place with picnic benches and a playground where small children can have fun. There is also a butterfly garden towards the woods where all kinds of butterflies, humming birds, cardinals, and gold finches converge. Good place to visit once in a while with a book and some snack or lunch!
Rise Of Rome: Fun place to swim, but since they often leave the back door open, many bees, spiders, and flies often end up dead in the pool. Other than that, this place is a nice basic place to swim

Amanda Jo: Our 15 month old twins had a blast standing up in the kiddie pool and we loved walking them around the deeper end. Seemed clean and wasnt packed so it was comfortable
