My young daughter is now going on year three with FWSD. It has been a great environment since day one. The owner Miss Becky has been kind and great since the moment I inquired. Never being involved in a dance studio and only heard stories - I feel above and beyond BLESSED we found this studio! Miss Becky and all the instructors are incredible and patient with all the students. My daughter had a blast this week at the summer dance camp. I was in tears watching her at her recital with her dance friends this year. The bonds she has made and myself with the other moms is a incredible. The students are always greeted with a smile and encouragement. If your looking for a studio to teach dance but also lift your child’s self esteem this is the place you want to be!

My two young granddaughters recently experienced their first Dance Camp here.

They had so much fun and learned multiple dances in a very short time. Not only were they taught by a dance master, they met and interacted with a Radio City Music Hall Rockette, a former student of The Fort Wayne School of Dance, which has a rich history in the art of dance. 4worldlovers: Founded in 2015, Pulse Dance and Performance Center was opened with the mission to spread love through movement. Known as the heartbeat of dance in Fort Wayne, Pulse has become a premier dance studio for all ages!

With classes running all year, you won't miss a beat when you're apart of the Pulse Dance Family. Students participate in classes all year and preform at multiple events such as; recitals, basketball games, baseball games, hockey games, nursing homes, parades, festivals, and more.

Pulse provides training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, cheer, acrobatics/tumbling, modern, tap, and breakdancing classes for ages 3+. Students can participate in recreational classes or tryout for our competitive dance teams.

Our studio program is simple. Parents and students pick their desired class times off of our schedule, our pricing is then set into a monthly payment for you, students learn technique and routines in their style, and every year we hold a large performance for your whole family to join us and see their progress. Special class days where we add seasonal accessories and dance in the twinkle lights and Dance With Me Day, when parents take class with their kids, bring excitement to class as well as memory-making fun!


Our full-scale Spring Production (not a recital but a show that is enjoyable for everyone, even those who don't know anyone on the stage!) is always a highlight and we often offer additional performance opportunities such as the Great Russian Nutcracker, The Festival of Trees and dancing for special events.

All students enrolled in Ballet/Tap Fusion classes receive "My Dance Story Journal" free each year, holiday-themed activities that let our students know how valued they are, birthdays are celebrated (we cover summer birthdays so no one gets left out), Dance With Me Day for parents to take class with their students, Adult classes, shows (not recitals) that integrate dance, drama and music to tell a story that is fun for everyone (even if you don't know anyone on stage). We've worked with the CS Lewis Estate to produce original stage adaptations of The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe (2012 & 2013) and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2014).

We adapted Jennie Bishop's The Squire and the Scroll (2016) and Max Lucado's Hermie, A Common Caterpillar (2016)

We've staged original productions, such as The Quest and the Keys (2015) , Mercy's Pen (2016), Inside Space (2017) , Return to the Garden (2018), Fields of Grace (2019), and coming soon: Out of the Toy Chest (2020)
