Unify Ballroom: what do users think?
Tom Fryback: A lot of smiles and social interaction. A good school to learn to dance.
Lori the Herbchick: What a great studio for international dances. Bachata, bellydance, assorted others!!
Scott Johnsen: Positive:QualityThe instruction here is top-notch. I come from an East Coast swing background out of Chicago and was very impressed. If you are a beginner reading this, don't be intimidated. Easily the best thing about Fort Wayne.
Laurie Hapner: We've been to a couple of group lessons/dances at Unify. It's a nice space. The lessons were challenging but fun. What a great opportunity for exercise during these cold, winter months! Here's how it works: you attend either as a couple or a single. It begins with a dance lesson. One time it was mambo. The next it was salsa. After the lesson, the lights are turned down and the open dance begins. Everyone dances with everyone. Waltz, foxtrot, salsa, swing, samba, etc. If you don't know a dance, someone will teach you. It's a great opportunity to learn and to practice what you know.
Deb Glasper: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueGreat location, professional, friendly, fun staff. Big dance floor, not too crowded. Casual atmosphere!

Fort Wayne School of Dance: what do users think?
Demetrious Simpson: We love Fort Wayne school of dance
Richard Pankop: My two young granddaughters recently experienced their first Dance Camp here. They had so much fun and learned multiple dances in a very short time. Not only were they taught by a dance master, they met and interacted with a Radio City Music Hall Rockette, a former student of The Fort Wayne School of Dance, which has a rich history in the art of dance. If you want to learn to dance , this is The Dance Studio for you!

Elite Dance Center: what do users think?
Rachel Ortiz: This dance studio was terrible. The facility is old and run down. It was dirty and never clean. The dance instructors were toxic and very controlling. It left me hating dance and I would not recommend to ANYONE!!!
Stephanie Waybright: My daughter has danced here for 3 years now and loves it! The entire staff is wonderful and my daughter has made so many great friends 💕. I high recommend the studio for anyone looking for a great place for their kiddos to dance.
Alyssa Spieth: Emily is professional and well educated when it comes to the life of dance. She is a great dancer with years of experience. Emily puts all of her heart into dance and pours her love into instructing all of her students to be the best they can be. You will not regret working with Emily.
Bradley Hoffer: Very caring and supportive of our 1st grade daughter. Would recommend!
Swanson Sisters: Our family absolutely LOVES this dance studio. Emily and her team are so inspiring, kind, and just show so much love to the students! I will recommend this studio to anybody looking for a place to teach the arts of dancing
Michael Hulburt: Awesome dance studio that offers excellent training for beginners all the way to the most advanced dancers. Professional staff at every level of the company. 5 stars!!
Justin Koch: Absolutely amazing!! Would recommend to anyone looking to get their children involved in dance!!
Sarah Starcher: We have had a great experience in my daughter's first year of dance. Christina, Mary, Miss Emma and Miss Mac were all so supportive and attentive to her. She learned so much and we were shocked she knew terminology for ballet and tap. The showcase was very entertaining and I always knew about the upcoming themed weeks around the holidays. My daughter loved those! She will keep dancing as long as she wants to and it will definitely be at Elite!

Pure Dance Works: what do users think?
Taylor Main: Communication has always been phenomenal! My daughter enjoys her classes and her teacher.
Cinamon Donley: My daughter absolutely loves dancing at Pure Dance. They provide excellent instruction in a comfortable yet inspiring environment. We enjoy the recitals and watching my daughter progress.
Darcy Garza: The instructor is always prepared and organized. The class is so well structured and Miss Paige does a GREAT job keeping the kids moving at all times. My husband and I were both very impressed and chose to enroll our daughter for another session.
Ryan Burnsworth: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI have 3 daughters that attend classes and love it! They are proud to show their new dance moves, the activity work they done and they really love having their new friends. The teachers are wonderful to work with for parents and the kids. We are extremely pleased with our choice to put our daughters in Pure Dance Works.
Alexandra Gatzimos Reed: My daughter and I love Pure Dance Works. The teachers are so patient and it's the prefect first experience for my two year old to be in a teaching environment with other kids. The baby classes are based more around fun and imagination while subtly teaching taking turns, following instructions, and sharing. 10/10
Katie Skeens: We love Pure Dance Works! They are always loving and kind. Pure Dance keeps you updated each week with what’s going on! They are very well organized. We love Pure Dance Works!
McKayla Dafoe: Pure Dance Works is amazing! My daughter is about to complete her second season and it has been so much fun. She loves to go, enjoys her teacher and classmates, and has developed so much confidence in the class.
Cecilia Bohde: I would recommend Pure Dance Works because it socialized my daughter to not only kids her age, but up to 2 years older. She has benefitted from this social interaction considering she doesn’t attend daycare. I’m glad that she got to experience others her age, and learn and explore new things with her Dewdrop friends. She has also learned a lot from being in Dewdrop. She can now sort colors, identify colors, and walk on her tiptoes. Pure Dance Works is 5/5 for us, no doubt. :)
Christina Johnson: My daughter absolutely loved the summer program. She enjoyed making the crafts in addition to the dance portion. She still talks about “Adventure Island.” Will do again next year.
Paula McKillip: My daughter absolutely loved the summer dance program!
Tahnee Plank: Daughter loves going here, loves making crafts in class. However, a few issues. The first is when I drop off, my husband pick ups. You're not supposed to stay in the waiting room unless it's your alternating week, and the waiting area does fill up. Not a problem, but when my husband went to pick up he went in and grabbed her and no one stopped him or questioned him to make sure she was supposed to go with him. Teachers go right into next class so there's no one to verify who picks up who. Another issue was for arts in crafts in the ballet class they made bracelets out of pipe wire. Not sure who approved this idea for girls in tights. When I picked up my daughter it had cut through her leotard and cut her leg. When I went back into dance class the following week I asked for a replacement. Then the girl tried to charge me for it. When I went over that it happened from wire bracelets they gave her she said what happens in class is out of their control. You have to leave you child with them and they're telling me what happens in class is out of their control. Very unprofessional way to handle the situation. She was very short and rude with me after that. I asked to speak with someone in charge, the young girl in the front told me she could message her but she would just tell her the same thing. I asked if there was a direct number to call her and she picked up the phone and said it'll just ring here, not the number I asked for at all, she was being very facetious about the situation. It's not the end of the world but something she's making in ballet class shouldn't be cutting her legs and uniform. She did message someone in charge and they gave me a free leopard to replace. My child had already gone into class with the ripped leotard so it was too late. Her teacher also told her to tape it when she was in class. I feel like there's some safety issues company should address from no adults insuring a parent is picking up child, to my daughters leg being cut in class without anyone caring and shrugging it off.In response to your comment:Thank you Tina for reaching out. Of course a dance studio is not a retail store. I was bothered by receptions comment that what happens in dance class is out of your control. I didn't know you have used pipe cleaners for crafts for girls in tights for years. I was assured that that wasn't normal and that they wouldn't be used again because it also cut my daughters leg. Not sure either why a dance class is making bracelets, and other arts and crafts during class time. How about a simple solution of using plastic bracelet bands instead of wire that cuts childrens legs and tights. Sounds like this experience has no effect on how things will be done in the future. Im not sure why I had to fight for a replacement when the school gave her the tools to cut her leotards and legs. If this was done outside of dance class, then of course we would be responsible for them. Also, they absolutely do not oversee who picks up. As on the first day I dropped off and my husband has picked her up and hadn't been there before. They barely knew my daughter and didn't stop to ask my husband his name or hers. I have never met her teacher and the young girl behind the desk either stays put or is helping others during pick up. I know it's a lot going on. I know someone would have to know location and dance times. I know it's a very packed room at pick up. But there's potential for many people to know this, and I think more diligence at pick up would be safer since we are dropping off our children and aren't always allowed or able to stay in the waiting room for them. Thanks again for making your views on child safety clear.
Sheila Gillett: The name says it all! Our daughter has attended classes at Pure Dance Works for 9 years! This past year she was also trained to help assist the teachers in some of the classes. She is loved, protected, professionally instructed, and encouraged to stretch her knowledge of dance as well as be challenged to grow physically, socially, and emotionally. The studio encourages dancer modesty and is taught in a safe environment where dancers make life-long friendships while also learning how they can have a positive impact on everyone around them. Communication between the studio and parents is absolutely superb!! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the upcoming year!
Charlene Gerber: Very kind and professional. A little lacking in diversity, but overall a clean and good place for children to join a dance class. Madelyn is a warmhearted and patient dance teacher, and my daughter speaks very highly of her.
Jenn S: I have been bringing my granddaughter here for the past year and we love it. She is 3 years old and I like the positive, encouraging, environment she is in. This is the time to be building our children up and here at PureDanceWorks the teachers are doing just that - helping build confidence in our young ones! The class size ratio is great - for this year its been about 5-7 students to 2 teachers. Not sure of all class sizes however this was for the Sparkle 3. Being constantly on the go, I like that the costumes along with practice wear is all included in one monthly cost! We will be coming back next year!
Rachel Kennedy: My daughter is in the Dewdrop dance class at Pure Dance Works. The Dewdrop program is for kids age 18-36 months old; it's tailored for the little ones in a way that's imaginative and fun. It has been wonderful watching her learn and grow in the classroom. Her listening skills have improved and she is learning how to socialize, take turns, and share. She loves going to class, and so do I. It's been a great way for me to spend time and bond with my daughter.
Julie Amstutz: We love pure dance works! My 6 year old loves going to dance and performing at the recitals At Christmas and spring.
sarah smith: This is the sweetest dance studio!! My daughter loves going and has learned so much. They teach skills that apply to life outside of dance as well, I highly recommend!
Ashley Leonard: My daughter loves her ballet class! She looks forward to it every week and is always showing me new things she learned in class.Pure Dance Works is a very safe and comforting environment for little ones! As a parent you are always informed on what to expect each week in the studio. I would recommend Miss Tiina and her staff to anyone.
DANIELLA DELREAL: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueIs the best place to ours dancers.
zack russell: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueBoth of my girls love this place, I could not have chose any better dance studio. The staff is wonderful and would recommend to anyone who is wanting to sign their child up for dance classes.
Kristina Casselman: Positive:ProfessionalismThe only thing that I would like to see changed is their safety regulations after they dismiss the children from class. I've watched as children step outside to look for their parent without an adult accompanying them.

The Fort Wayne Ballroom Company: what do users think?
Cliff G: Chris and Kelly, the owners, are great instructors and even better people. They have group classes, private lessons, dance parties, and other events that are fun and give you opportunities to meet nice people and all of their qualified instructors.
Madison: Amazing teachers and classes! Chris is awesome and very knowledgeable!
Cody Barker: Some of the nicest people in Fort Wayne! Do yourself a favor and check them out! Absolute PROS!!! 5 STARS
Michael Morton: My wife and I attended private and group lessons at the Fort Wayne Ballroom Company in order to prepare ourselves for our son's wedding. The lessons were great, and effective (even though we didn't practice as much as we should have!), and our instructor, Tom, was awesome. Easy to work with, explained concepts in multiple ways until we grasped them, in short, a great teacher. We would both recommend the FWBC for anyone trying to learn how to dance, or to just get out of the house for a fun night out. Great value compared to other dance instruction, and a lot of fun.
Lexy Spurlock: Hands down the best place i have ever danced. All of the staff is amazing and kind and you wont find better teaching anywhere
Alicia Bogner: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI love going here and doing classes. The teachers are so welcoming even if you never danced before or if you are in my shoes haven't danced in years. I would recommend 100% so worth your time and money.
Emma Thompson: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueThe group classes are lots of fun and are a very positive environment! We are total beginners and found it to be a very nonjudgmental place to learn the basics. The teachers are great at what they do!
Ray Miller: Great instructors and fun crowd.
Gabrielle Hull: I applaud the owners of this fantastic establishment! We've all had a crazy year with the pandemic. I'm not the only one that would say his couple taught me the value of hard work and perseverance through trying times. They've caught cancer, battled the virus, plus maintained a business with their head held high! One of the things that stood put to me was their love for helping their community and those who are disabled. One gentleman had herniated a disc, lost feeling in half of one foot, and still learned the beginner Waltz! Not to mention they didn't blink an eye when I requested special choreography to Elvis Presley songs!!!! I cannot wait to see what they do with their business and the community in the future.
Be Kind: If you are a person looking for a "COVID safe" recreational experience outside your home, Fort Wayne Ballroom Company is the place for you! I've danced at FWBC for a few years now and like everyone, had to stop in the spring, While I missed dancing a great deal, based on my age, it was hard to consider leaving my house. Now that FWBC has reopened, I'm so glad I did! I feel really safe going there for lessons. They follow strict protocols and lessons are typically scheduled to stagger students. I'm so happy to get back into it! The owners Kelly & Chris have created a definite "family" vibe at FWBC, and even the most accomplished dancers are really warm and supportive of "newbies." The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, and while they are quite capable of training nationally competitive dances, they are also aware that many of us just want to learn the basics of social dancing for wedding and parties. Kelly's teaching style is warm, encouraging, funny and intuitive. In other words, amazing! Ballroom dancing is the perfect solution to cabin fever! I can't recommend these guys enough!
Jenna Jines: I started with a Groupon but I am so glad I did! I ended up buying more classes when it ran out because it’s so enjoyable. And even though my other half hates dancing, he picked up the steps just fine! They really work at your pace no matter the level you’re at and once you’ve done some basics you can pick and choose what styles you think are most fun to continue! I highly recommend!! Dance instructors are all super friendly and nice!!
kd dish: The Fort Wayne Ballroom is a wonderful family oriented and very welcoming place to not only get the very best ball room dancing instruction (with the finest teachers) that can be found anywhere, but a warm/loving environment to meet heart-warming friends that are very encouraging to dance and fellowship with. Dancing at the ballroom is the key to opening up your heart and soul to great joy!
Jeanne: My husband and I won dance lessons at a nonprofit fundraiser, and I’m so glad we did. We have come back as paying customers for more than a year. We have met great people and had a lot of fun. We came in knowing nothing and now we feel confident dancing together at weddings and parties. The instructors are down-to-earth and very patient. Our classmates have been at all skill levels and ages—from 17-70. We couldn’t recommend this studio highly enough. Great community. Great instruction. Loads of fun!
Kenna Jackson: This studio caters to casual social dancers as well as serious competitors. Chris and Kelly are top nationally recognized teachers. Kelly’s theatre and contemporary dance background offers a wonderful depth of knowledge. The vibe is warm, friendly and fun.
Aaron Ostermeyer: I've been coming to the Fort Wayne Ballroom Company for several years now and I've greatly enjoyed my time thus far. The range of dances that are taught are comprehensive, all the instructors are DVIDA certified, and group classes are affordable. I can honestly say that I've also made several friendships through attending here as well. For anyone looking for something new to try in the Fort, I would recommend trying this place out!
Dianne Hughes: My husband and I have been taking lessons here for 4 years and have loved it! We love our private instructors, Tony & Kelly, and we love all the other instructors and staff that makes us feel like we're "home". It's a great place to learn and have fun!
Christine Kuznar: The Fort Wayne Ballroom Company is more than a business! It's a place where dancers at all levels, all ages and all aspirations of dance can go and find a great fit in a wonderful environment. I highly recommend the staff and the experience of learning to dance. They adjust to the wants and needs of each dancer. If you want to come just for the pure fun of dance.... it's the place, or if you want to become a dance competitor.... it's the place. Just come and dance!
Scott Jackson: I love learning to dance at the Fort Wayne Ballroom Company. The staff is great. All of them want to help the students become better dancers. Of course you are encouraged to practice. The students like to help other students too. I've been taking lessons there for 4 years. The staff and students are like family to me.
Tess Bruggeman: Our experience with the Fort Wayne Ballroom company has been outstanding! Chris & Kelly are fantastic teachers. We are currently taking group lessons with Chris and private lessons with Kelly. I was nervous at first because neither my fiancé or I had any skill with dancing. The group lessons provided a comfortable environment that is set at the perfect pace for beginners. During our private lessons Kelly choreographed a dance to go with our upbeat first dance song. Her enthusiasm and encouragement have been what we needed to make our first dance perfect. Chris & Kelly truly care about their students and do everything they can to give them a great experience. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to learn to dance!
jordan lee: These people know what they're doing. Very personable and fun! Check them out!
