I waited an hour, they called my name (first name only) another girl by the same first name went ahead of me. Guess I should have charged in because it was me that was supposed to be seen. I went to the receptionist and asked about the situation. They then checked the charts but did not let me go in. All the nurses and staff started laughing about it. I have terrible anxiety going to the dentist any way. So then the Dr comes in and I explain the situation and blows it off. I told her I needed a tooth fixed that had been causing me problems. She says we don’t fix teeth here. We pull them out and put in the denture that’s it. I explained I thought you do implants, she said we do that too. So ok what are my options? It is very hard to understand her, she talks very fast and said listen and follow along cause I already told you once. 1 you can leave with nothing done 2 I can pull the bad tooth and you will loose the one behind it. 3 I can remove all teeth and put in a denture 3000. I can pull all teeth and put in implants +$100,000, 4 pull two teeth but you have to get caps put on the two remaining molars somewhere else $12000. So what do you want me to do? I left. I wouldn’t take my dog there.

Drive 2hrs just to be told oh well idk who told you everything was covered.. only extractions but nothing else and then say that my son only has 3bad teeth which with the naked eye you can see decay in almost every tooth. I dont know what country they got their license from to even be a dentist if that's what they want to call themselves. So they decide not to do anything at all, even with the clear pain the teeth are causing him. what a wasted trip and missed work for that. verrryy disappointed. Very unprofessional of them to refuse full service bc he wants all teeth pulled and not just the 3 they claimed are the only bad ones.

I was here back in December 2022 I had some small dental work done but was antisipating on getting a implant put in in January they sent me multiple emails confirming my 2 appointments in January on the 18th and when I went in for my first appointment @9 am they told me they no longer accepted my insurance mind you they called and emailed me the day before for my appointment!!! I’ve waited a long time and they didn’t even have the decency to cancel my appointment over the phone or via email….

Michael Watkins: I Googled Ft. Wayne denture implant providers & DaVinci Dental Spa popped up. I completed the 'new patient questionnaire' on their website & explained that I wanted "denture implants". The website had me confirm a day/date & time for a consultation (no mention of a fee, so I, mistakenly, assumed the consultation was free, like all other Dental businesses competing in Fort wayne). I arrived promptly on the day of consultation & was immediately greeted pleasantly by a staff member, ushered to a dental exam room, where the young lady asked me what type of service I wanted & I, again, responded that I was looking to get "denture implants". She took a X-ray of my mouth. Not long after that, the doctor came in & greeted me, asking the same question as to what type of service I wanted; I responded, as before, with "denture implants". He examined my mouth, teeth, gums and then advised me that I had suffered too much bone loss for me to get denture implants & that he/ DaVinci Dental Spa did not provide that service, anyway. I thanked him for his honesty, but later realized that he was not so honest. Here's why:Considering that their website questionnaire asked what type of work I needed performed, and my having responded with "denture implants", DaVinci Dental Spa should have NEVER set up a consultation if they don't provide the service of "denture implants". The person reviewing new patient questionnaires from the website should have responded by phone or email that they did not provide that type of service and that no consultation would have been needed. Instead, they allowed me to come in for a consultation, which I mistakenly believed to be free because the other dental providers in the area provide free consultations; however, I was informed after the consultation, as I was ready to leave, that there was a $187 consultation fee that I had to pay. NEVER have I heard of a consultation fee that exorbitantly high. The #1 irk about my experience with DaVinci Dental Spa is that they should NEVER have performed the consultation in the first place, considering they don't provide the service of denture implants, which is the service I wanted. I feel as if they fraudulently provided the consultation to gain the money from me & my insurance provider. Yes, the staff were all Pleasant; yes, the facility looked beautiful and state-of-the-art; yes, they charge an exorbitantly high consultation fee of $187 that they don't tell you about on their website; yes, I firmly believe they defrauded my insurance company (&me) for an 'Unneeded" service.Looking back, it's all a bit 'hard to chew'.

Legacy staff made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in the door. They were very kind and did a thorough examination, even though I have to go back in a week to have a couple minor cavities filled. I think I’ve found a new dentist I’m not afraid to go to every 6 months. If you’re in need of dental care, these are your people!! Update: this was my post a couple of years ago and I still stand by this! Very friendly people all the way around and have helped improve my my oral health.
