Maureen Logan: I hope to never have to come here again but I am so incredibly grateful that this hospital is open 24/7 and staffed with such incredible and caring people. They didn’t even have room available but the second I came in with my suffering cat they immediately made the time and space. The staff was incredibly incredibly kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and patient with me. I had to let my best friend of 14 years go and both the vet and front desk employee were so consoling and helpful in my choices and gave me so much time to make my decision and to say goodbye. While it was a horrible night because I had to let my animal go, I am so thankful everyone who was there was. The vet gave me all of my options and helped to talk me through everything multiple times. I don’t know what I would’ve done without them. Thank you if you ever see this, it’s clear this is your calling and I’m forever grateful I didn’t have to be alone during this moment or been left with no place to take my poor kitty in so much suffering. They even gave me a remembrance with his footprints to have with me forever.

G Smith: Avoid the place at all costs. VERY LONG WAIT TIMES. They will say..."oh we are an ER". If other pets come in you are put to the end of the list every time. Yet you can hear them all chit chatting at the desk. If they are so busy you wouldnt this theys have time for random chatter. Also seems funny. There is an "employees only" door. Again seems funny that every time you turn around you see all of them in there chatting. If you're so busy...why arent you in the rooms attending to the pets? Never sgain!!!

JESSE JUSTICE: This place is all around sad.It's sad for the employees, who may actually care about animals. But instead of focusing on them, they are trained to cram paperwork down the throat of people who are just trying to save their pets' lives.Unfortunately, they have the market cornered in NE IN .. My dog passed away tonight. Rather than being concerned for my dog (ARCHER), who was suffering from GVD. All they cared about was money. Wanting me to sign multiple papers that are designed to essentially give them authority to charge whatever they want (and they do) they were persistent that I "check out" even before the care is giving. In my case, euthanization. Basically, they were insinuating they didn't trust me to pay.Unless your pet is literally dying like mine was tonight, avoid this place at all cost. They will take advantage of you and your situation.
Evan Horlock: I was very pleased! They get you set up with adding you to a queue so you can wait at home. I had an hour wait but my dog cut her paw on glass and was bleeding pretty bad. I was able to stay in touch and tell them that I was going to be arriving earlier than my time slot just in case and they were able to get me in quicker after assessing my dogs wound. They were super helpful and if I’m ever back in the area visiting family again and need an emergency vet, I will continue to use NIVES
Amanda Richhart: Everyone on staff was very kind and compassionate and quick. Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do. They helped with the passing of our sons beloved bearded dragon Drake. A heart felt you to everyone.
Pat Hansen: SUPER expensive and substandard care! Literally did nothing to help my daughter's suffering animal. Days later a regular vets office did tests and gave care. This place overcharges and takes advantage of people in desperate circumstances. Care for animals is obviously not their top priority. Bring your checkbook and be prepared to spend double what everyone else charges.
Joseph Widman: My heart goes out to each person that works at this facility. Recently my wife and I have had to say our goodbyes to two of our fur babies, and we took them to NIVES for their end of care treatments.Let me start off by telling you that these people have some of the most difficult jobs that I can imagine. Day in and day out, they get to handle situations that are dire and would break the heart of any animal lover. Given that knowledge, it was impressive that every person there handled both us and our kitties with love and care. To understand what we were going through, and walk us through everything with as much time or explanation as we needed, speaks volumes for how much they truly care.Both of our fur babies had to be let go (one due to kidney failure and the other to a bile duct obstruction) within a month of one another. Both times we visited, great care and patience was given through the visits. I wish I would have gotten her name, but for our latest kitty we were offered a free consultation to help us understand the decision that was in front of us, and help guide us through the difficult time. The sweet lady held it together through the questions and evaluation of our loved one, but she even teared up with us at the end. That just shows how invested these people are, and that they share the love for our pets that we do.I can’t say enough how great the team truly is. They deal with the worst of the worst every day, and it’s all to give our pets the best lives they can have. The procedures went as well as they could, and we are very thankful for that. We’re going to miss the heck out of all of our kitties, but the team at NIVES made everything go as smoothly as possible for both our kitties and us.Thank you!!! ❤️

Hannah Harshberger: NIVES rehab is amazing. They saw my Maxi for months for swim therapy and more.Steve would tell me funny stories of Maxi at drop off, which I loved. I can easily trust Dr. Kitson to be honest with me, even if it doesn't benefit the business, and Kimberly is Amazing-always so kind, warm, and generous.They all listened to me ugly cry on the phone and in real life multiple times throughout the process of caring for my baby boy.I couldn't be more grateful and pleased with the services and staff at Nives rehab.
Stephen Murt: My dog had a massive tumor that needed to be removed. When I met with the surgeon he went through in detail on how he was going to remove the tumor and went in detail on the probability of the tumor coming back. The surgeon laid out in detail the options or different routes if I decided not to do the surgery. I just had one great dane lose the battle to cancer and I wasn't about to lose another dog this way. Daisy is doing great and ready to get back to her daily walks.

Kelly McArdle Miller: Excellent experience- long wait times as critical animals take priority. Do their online registration to help with this. They took good care of our little guy - that’s what matters most.Only complaint is that they need more comfortable chairs. 6 hours on a fold out chair is rough!!
Amy Warren: We came in later in the evening with a sick cat, and the staff was great! All of the girls were so kind and helpful. They were thorough with the exam and in communicating all that was happening. The doctor was very nice, too. Going in for an emergency always brings anxiety, but the staff is good at putting people at ease.
Jada Hackworth: I’m so thankful for the staff that helped me last night with my baby Storm. The vet and nurses were so kind and supportive, they walked me through every step and broke down the prices for me before I agreed to anything. I am so thankful that my baby was in their hands the last few hours of her life. They even let me sit with her when she was being put down. I would 100% recommend this place

Carolyn Sorg: My dog was placed in a room promptly, and the vet assistant took all the information. I told her what was wrong and she relayed the information I told her. They take the dog to the back room, while I waited in the exam room. The vet did all the necessary procedures and then they brought the dog back to me. Then the vet came in and told me the results from the exam that she did. Overall was pleased with their service.
Marie Macher: St Joe's is great! I moved here from Florida and saw they were fear free certified which was a selling point. They are so caring and wonderful with your dogs. I have a dog that has severe epilepsy and Dr KT has been amazing with her. She has gone the extra mile when helping us get her and my other dog the best care possible. Dr KT also does acupuncture through KNIVES rehab and always makes sure my pup is comfortable during it. They also did my male pups neuter surgery and kept me updated during the day. So thankful we found this vet office when we moved here. Everyone I have interacted with has been great.

Brittany Daly: Dr. Cassie is the BEST vet I have ever been to.. and that is after trying many. She is so compassionate about my pets, takes her time, and genuinely cares about them. This place was also amazing last month when it came that time for my oldest dog after an injury.. they had a private living room setting so it wasn’t stressful on my dog and was private and did not even feel like we were in a vet office. They were all so kind and caring about everything. Highly highly recommend.. I will never go elsewhere.

I was really concerned about finding a new vet due to Macie's condition but I'm so relieved that we found Aboite Animal Hospital. I've had both dogs at the vet multiple times since arriving and have been very pleased with both Dr. Parker and Dr. Koch. Everyone from the front desk to the techs showed their love for animals. Due to Macie's condition we frequent the vet often and I am so pleased that we have found a such a great and caring vet.
Sherry Miller: We have been taking our cat here since her adoption in early 2021. Each visit has been great. They are up front with services and prices. Text and email communication! Wonder staff!
Mariah Bowman: All my respect to veterinarians for their education, but what you do in the field is what matters. My cats are getting older, so checkups are crucial. My two cats were brought in, with one having some strange symptoms. Blood drawn, body check. New vet gave her a shot and something for her ears, and that's it. Cat ate less, symptoms were the same. We take her to Aboite Animal Clinic instead. In two minutes, the vet opened her mouth and found cancer. Turns out the cat had every symptom that goes along with this cancer. Had to put her down. Our cat was suffering and AA Hospital provided disappointing results. My mother called and explained the situation, no "sorry" from the vet or any follow-up. We rely on these vets to know the answer. Your little experience in the field doesn't matter, don't use it as an excuse. We don't put our trust in you to get subpar answers to our questions. Too late to gain our trust back.

danielle sheckler: Dr Gupta was not my dog's vet my dog ate a battery I called Dr Gupta to do this surgery and they were very accommodating they took him the same night his own vet couldn't even do it until the next day he got the surgery done quick and I am very grateful to him he's definitely getting a new doggy patient
Heather Gilley: This was the worst vet I have ever been to. I took my 200 pound St Bernard 5 hrs old with no health issues with a left leg issue to them. It took me and three other males to get him into my vehicle for care. I was told once we were there they had no idea BUT the specialist would be there in a week and to come back after a 8-9 hundred dollar X-ray. SO WE DID! When we got there the specialist was not there. He was texted but didn’t recall the X-rays and was told to come back again!!! I spent 900 on X-rays for them to tell me nothing. What they did do was walk out behind us while my dog was limping and crying and it took the kindness of two male humans in the parking lot to feel sorry enough to help me get him back in the car while the vet techs just watched that took 30 mins We did our research and asked the dr to treat for lyme disease that they didn’t even test him for so they did for 29 days. They treated and didn’t check for it in the blood work I was billed for. I asked for them to send him more anti inflammatory medication to make the ride to the vet and the lady was rude. Super rude! I ended up having to put my dog down at the animal hospital in Fort Wayne that was more then caring, and wish I would have brought him there to begin with. I still don’t know what was wrong with him because the vet was incompetent and his staff was ignorant. It’s not easy to move a dog of that size to a vet appointment every week to see a specialist that they promised was there but never was and then get charged for it and then see how bad he was in pain to get him there and back. A year later they have hackled me about a 40 dollar bill then hang up on me three times when I tried to explain that I shouldn’t owe anythjng because of their negligence! I was new to the area and was ignorant to this place. Worst vet experience EVER!!!if I could do a negative zero review I would. This place doesn’t deserve a address let alone 1 star!!

Debby Klein: The worst..... Had blood work done doctor never goes over anything with you. Constantly get the run around and never any answers or communication with the doctor. Had to go to a different facility to read the blood work,to find out my animal has issues that needed to be addressed.
Ashli Allen: They did an amazing job with our post surgery suture removal. Both the tech and veterinarian went out of their way to keep our cat calm during the procedure.

Matt Cooper: Had an appointment at 3:20 pm. Walked in to check in and was asked if my dog was dangerous and if he gets along with other animals. I said yes he gets along just fine. The counter staff looked down at my bulldog with a bewildered look and then asked if I could wait outside. Watched and waited for 55 minutes and other people were allowed to wait inside just fine. My dog has never been aggressive to any other pets. Dont need these kinds of people looking after my dog. Will be going elsewhere.
Tammy Rumsyre: There is no better place than Aboite Animal Clinic. Dr. Gupta and his staff care about the animals as though each and every one of them were their own. We came to Aboite Animal Clinic for help when no one else could. We brought Tolo in, Doc watched him walk and sit. He told us exactly what was wrong with him. (Of course he did tests to confirm)Tolo has had surgery on both ACL’s and he’s doing great. Everyone is always excited to see Tolo when we come in (he’s pretty popular!) and when he’s not with us Dr. Gupta still comes out to see us to ask how Tolo is doing.They give you all the time you need and answer every question. They are just simply amazing, I trust them all completely. If you are looking for that one special veterinarian to take care of your furry family member, Dr. Gupta and his team at Aboite Animal Clinic are no doubt the best choice.

Angela McDonald Sendo: Receptionist Michelle magically left me in the car waiting g for our appointment for 2 hours. Said she tried calling but it said it was long distance. They didn’t have a problem calling me the day before to remind me of my appointment. She’s rude every time we go in. She cannot handle the stress of being in a busy office and be professional and nice at the same time. It’s so sad.
Jennifer Ward: Our 100 pound Chesapeake Bay Retriever began limping and moving like an old dog when he was just 3 1/2 years old. Holding him back from doing all the dog things he loves was really diminishing his quality of life. He had torn ligaments in his rear leg and he was in some pain. We weighed surgical options all over town, but our own vet, Dr Gupta at Aboite Animal Clinic, went out of his way to offer the best care. He brought in a tibial plateau leveling specialist from Ohio State University to perform the complicated surgery. We had to wait months for this in demand treatment, but the specialist came to Dr. Gupta’s clinic to perform the procedure and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our Odin is enjoying daily fetch games again. His gait is gorgeous. He feels great. We are so grateful to have Odin back to good health for the rest of his long dog life. ❤️

Bri Graler: Dr. Gupta has gotten our fur family through a lot this year. The compassion and knowledge he provides has kept us coming back in spite of moving further away from the clinic and the staffing issues that caused some stress during the pandemic. He explains things in ways you can understand and he answers questions no matter how dumb or minuscule you think they might sound when you ask. As for pricing, he has saved me around $5000 this year between 2 surgeries (cancer and emergency bladder blockage). You are provided with all options to choose the best treatment for your pet that can also help your wallet. Both my bills ended up being less than what I was initially quoted. Every time someone asks for a vet recommendation, this is where I tell them to go, and I will continue to do so.
