Michael Denton: If you are seriously considering using Lancia, I would look elsewhere. From signing a contract, to picking out your finishes, and the rest of the whole process, you are merely a number. First off, Gerry, the one used to pick out interior finishes, does not try and help you with suggestions or anything. second, we picked out a built in for the laundry room, show her a picture, she adds it to the build list, and when we walk into the house, it is some cheap particle board organizer hanging on the wall. We ask the site PM, and he says that is what we ordered. we say no no no, and show him a picture, well come to find out, she priced us the wrong thing, and of course would not take ownership of it. The Site PM did make it right with us, so I have nothing but good things to say about Justin. As far as their warranty work and subcontractors, it is a joke. We had our 1 year walk through canceled 3 or 4 times due to them not having anyone to come out and they still never fixed anything from that. Never got our 2 year walk through either. Then if you call saying something is wrong, they just make excuses on why it is that way. Other people in our addition have complained that their warranty work is non-existent too. Honestly, the quality of the house is not that great either. The Plumbing subcontractor, didnt tighten the line on the water heater, and water leaked slowly for months, and rusted the outside of the tank. Plumber came and tightened it and said they wont replace it, even though it was 100% their fault. so now we have a rusted water heater tank that is an eyesore. Told Lancia about it and they did nothing about it either. The one good thing with Lancia was their PM or site contractor (not sure what they call them) named Justin. He was always extremely helpful, friendly and addressed concerns. Other than him, our experience with any of the Lancia team was bad to awful. We plan to build again in the future, and there is absolutely no way I would use Lancia nor would i recommend Lancia to anyone. Mediocre quality, warranty coverage is awful, and their team is subpar. The only warranty work coverage we had was our 6 month walk through. Canceled all the other walk throughs numerous times and wont return phone calls. Please look elsewhere. I wish I could give zero stars.

Not only did I pay a premium price for a new home, I received more problems than a person should have to deal with. I will give them credit that they will fix the problems but it is like pulling teeth to get it done. I'm six months into ownership of the home and the problems just keep coming. I'm sure other builders are just like them so I couldn't give anyone advice on who to build with. They might build you a good home. I just didn't receive one.

My home is brand new and we've had almost every issue we can think of and the lack of urgency to come assist someone who just spent more than a 1/4 of a mill with you is just disheartening.Electrical issues, plumbing, flickering lights, cracks in foundation, we had to have them come out 3times to rip up and finally fix THE ENTIRE SECOND FLOOR. Just so walking around wouldn't wake us up on the ground floor.Leaking roofs, backing up sewer systems and electrical breakers tripping ever so often are common for ALL our neighbors in this new subdivision.Be careful is all I'd say.

I worked with Jamie Lancia so I figured everything would go smoothly and I would be helped in anyway, however, I was wrong. I would not recommend them, go with someone who has an urgency to not only sell you a home, but someone who does not try to take you for all your money and not have a care about actually treating you well.

The Lancia team jumped on the chance to request more money, and didn't see it necessary to assist us through the process and ensure that it ran smoothly. Do your research, there are other affordable builders in the area. If you do choose Lancia, I would suggest having a realtor represent you. You'll be working with a Lancia rep, otherwise.Response to Lancia's Comment: Our lender was given 30 days to process, he took 31 days over a holiday weekend. I hope more people become aware of what crooks this company is I owned a house for over 2 yrs here only to have it forcefully repossessed by their scam of a finance company Triad finacial with no notice!!! Went to pay my lot rent that Friday and the office of Brookside manor refused to take it stating the finance company had put a seize and lock order total which was total bs as all my house payments were made! Any park owned by sun homes will work together with this private finance company to rip you off and they'll do whatever it takes to make sure you cant sell your home and they get to repossess it so they can flip ot again this place and the people who run it make me sick and I wont stop until every innocent person just looking for an honest home knows what this place will do to them...despicable

Dayna Wright: If I could give less that 1 star I would. I was warned by former tenants that they would try to over charge for move out fees and boy did they. We moved from out of state & had to find a temporary home last minute, so we only wanted to be there for 1 year. We thought our lease was up a year after our move in, but since it was at the beginning of the month, they made us pay the whole month even after we bought a house and moved out a month early. We still paid the final month & paid for all the utilities to be kept on. We have a small dog (20 lbs) we paid extra rent for him. He moved from Arizona & wasn't used to the cold, so he peed a few times in the living room. We were totally fine with having to replace that carpet. One of the leasing agents walked through and said that all she could tell that was a problem was the pee stain in the living room, but that the other leasing agent would be the final word. The next thing I know, they replaced carpet in 2 other rooms for no apparent reason, one of the rooms was a guest room that was never used & the door was kept closed at all times so the dog never went in there & the other room was used as an office & was in great condition, the dog never went in there either, but sure enough, they changed those 2 rooms carpets as well. Just an excuse to charge us all of our deposit. I now regret being such a great tenant & wished I wouldn't have paid the last month's rent since I was already moved out & I also wish I hadn't spent so much time cleaning it and making it move in ready for them. This was a total scam, I should never have let her walk through without my being present. Lesson learned.

From the very beginning Windsor was extremely responsive and flexible with scheduling us for preliminary meetings. They explained the building process thoroughly at every step and kept us in the loop as they hunted down info for us if we had questions. The house came together so quickly! We could not believe how fast they built it! We lived about 2 hours away so we couldn't see the house every day and they took extra steps to post progress pictures for us which was so nice. She listened, asked questions, answered questions, and truly helped design your vision of your new home. The project manager Jason helped put that vision in place to get the house built, and communicated everything throughout the process. The two of them together truly made the experience flawless. That’s not to say other team members didn’t contribute. Their office team, finishers, vendors/sub contractors all made the process run smooth. Each sub connected and made sure you were happy with choices and placement of your options. There was a few hiccups with my floor and tile choices on availability, thanks to Covid (nothing that wasn’t a surprise), but communication was key, and Jason helped deliver to what originally was planned.On a final note, during the final walk through Pat continued with the 5 star rating. Pat made sure during the final walk through that everything was correct to what I had picked with Marla.Couldn’t have asked for a better first home building process. Sharon Lillpop: We are in the process of building a home with Windsor Homes and we are doing this long distance from Colorado.We have been working with Marla from the beginning of this process and we are so lucky to have her.Her communication has been amazing. We have done several Facetime consultations with her and she takes her time with us and answers all our questions. She responds to my texts in a very timely manor and keeps us posted on the progress of the project.We especially enjoyed our visit to pick out things for the home and meeting with all the various vendors for things like lighting, flooring, closets and appliances. All the vendors were great to work with and we were able to pick very nice things within the allowances from Windsor. It is such a great way to get what we liked and not be confined to what the builder offered.We would highly recommend Windsor Homes. I can not express enough how much you will value her experience and knowledge. She was always available, especially when I would have a change of mind she was so patient and kind. God blessed me to have Marla as a guide in this building process and I so appreciate all of her help and work. Jason was my Project Manager who helped me to understand the different stages of the building process. He was very helpful in making sure I understood what was going on and that things were on schedule. He was amazing when I wanted to make last minute changes and providing me with pertinent information. He is very detailed and has everything running smoothly on his projects. Tom Loy: This was our first home for my wife and I. We dove in headfirst and decided to build, which is not exactly normal for a first-time buyer. However, we couldn’t have made a better decision than to build with Windsor. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. The team at Windsor is outstanding. We have heard some horror stories with other builders and other companies, but we didn’t deal with anything close to that with these guys. I care so much about customer service and how we are treated by people and to be completely transparent, this is a five-star team over at Windsor. Cory Setser was the one we dealt with primarily on a daily basis and we were very lucky. Cory made the experience so smooth and allowed for us to be completely comfortable throughout the process. We never felt like we were asking a dumb question and he was always so patient with us and so incredibly responsive. Cory is someone I could now consider a friend, simply from how great he was. Both Pat Feely and Pat Davis were terrific as well. They were on top of any issues or any changes that needed to be made. They got them done quickly, got them done right and were very forthcoming with anything they thought we wouldn’t like or anything they thought we may want changed. Nobody is perfect in anything. Our beautiful dream home is incredible. However, surely it isn’t flawless. Nobody should expect that. Is anything in life truly perfect? No. It checks off every box imaginable for us, but of course there is some human error involved and there are going to be minor things you notice when knitpicking. The fact of the matter is if you go in to the process of building or buying a home and you expect every single thing to be flawless and there not to be even the most minor imperfections, you’re being unreasonable and not understanding that homes are built by hand and not machines. With that mentality you probably won’t have fun doing this. These guys truly did their best to make it as flawless as possible and for that I’m grateful. If you can relax and have fun with the process like we did, Windsor is absolutely the business to use. You will deal with some of the most caring, patient and friendly people and I guarantee that you will enjoy the process. So, yeah, would I recommend Windsor? 100%.
