Aladdin Food Express (Halal): what do users think?
tammie hilliard: The best Halal in Fort Wayne. I was pleased to find that they had not permanently closed but changed hours to 3pm to 7pm nightly. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
Deborah Murchland (Sunshine): DeliciousRecommended dishes Chicken Tikka Masala, Sizzling Chicken Tikka, Fries …More

Saife Humaidi: Has an amazing food was delicious 😋 will eat there againFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Sreemoy Mohan: Stopped by to pick some lunch. They don’t know how to prepare Indian recipe at all but offer it anyway. Food was horrible! Ordered chicken biryani, Naan and Chilli chicken.Biryani had soil particles in it, chicken in the biryani was few shreds, chilli chicken was just swimming in oil and sauce without any marination in cornflour. Naan was like hard, thin papad that can’t be chewed.Do not recommend this restaurant for Indian food.
Randall W Butler: Today was my first time eating here. The food was wonderful, great portion size, reasonable price for the amount of food received, staff are kind and friendly and has amazing art on the walls. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and come back when I can. Thank you!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jackie Reyes: I was surprised I always get the chicken tikka masala and it's usually really good today it was not and for a small portion it was $20 I was surprised they really raise their prices probably won't be going back there for a good long while unfortunatelyFood: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Joel anacker: It took a while but the food was great.
Tyra Bait: Amazing food and friendly workers

shania anita: Tried Indian food for the first time here. Very delicious & affordable. Staff was nice! Definitely will be back 😊
K. T. Kruse: UPDATE!!!Another fly by night entrepreneur seem to have gone belly up. Hasn't been open in months. To bad...WAS Very friendly service. The Butter chicken is just wonderful when paired with rice, but don't forget the garlic naan. You'll need it!
Seth Fischer: This place is delicious! The butter chicken and chicken tikka masala specifically, but everyone in our large group loved what they got the first time we went. I went again today with my daughter and again enjoyed everything along with a mango lassi. The owner is friendly and helpful. Can't believe how quiet the place is for how good the food is!!
Ahze Auto: Great food great service
Carol Mckinney: We ate there last night for the first time. The food was wonderful, and the staff were great. I would recommend it to anyone that appreciates good curry and butter chicken.
Ochieaunna: Great people and awesome service!!!STAMPED BY YAYA :)
Selena Blanco: We love your curry chicken and beef. Thai fried rice is also amazing! I cannot wait for you guys to reopen!!
Tessa T: Worst restaurant ever ordered a cheesecake and it was covered in mold it wasn’t just ice a day later the cheesecake had fully submerged in mold
Edith Helbert: This place is so good. I hope they re-open soon. I love their Chicken Rogan Josh and I've been missing it these last few months! The Biryani is also very good, and my child loves the cheese pizza.
Luke Minix: I absolutely love this place. Far and away the best indian food in fort wayne, and maybe the best overall restaurant too. Definitely the hidden gem i had been looking for since i moved here. Im terrified right now because theyve been "temporarily closed" for at least a month and i dont know why. Terrified at the possibility they wont reopen again. Every time i find a place I love they seem to close down.

Fort Wayne Halal Meat & Grocery: what do users think?
Antony Alex: Good asian grocery. Just check the labels ( like dates and batch ) before pick your items. Very good place.
Shawn Manley: Clean store, always has fresh meats and vegetables. Owner is very nice and helpful
Jessica Mane: Great variety of international food. Indian groceries from all over, Asian foods. It's a great one-stop shop for international foods.
Kmanoj Anu: No basic manners to treat customers and the prices are absolutely doubled. Don’t care about customers .
Asaduzzaman Mohammad: Was able to find many grocery items from the middle east. Was so happy to see products from Kuwait, UAE, Yemen and Saudi Arabia. The store also keeps a good collection of food items needed for West African cuisine.
Bean Meeks: Awesome as always. Love the selection, and they carry a lot of British foods from my childhood, so what's not to like.
layla ahmed: Nice place to get all of your international foods.
Joshua Harrison: This is a hidden treasure. Packed full of food you will love.
Thomas Zaglaras: moved to fort wayne a little while ago and this place has EVERYTHING I was looking for. It is well organized, clean, and well stocked. Everyone was very nice and the freshly made somosas are delicious.
k C: I was so excited to try this store out. But unfortunately when I walked in, the women was very rude despite my smile and saying hello, how are you. . . I don’t know if there was a language barrier or what but it felt very unwelcoming. I’ll have to find a different place to shop. . .
R. Morris: A good variety of products in here.
Media Viewer: I love getting Halal chicken and biryani mix from this store, along with frozen naan. I am so happy to have access to so many ingredients and friendly employees.
Narinder Pal Singh: Good place to find Indian stuff..
Raeesa Ossama: Always have fresh meat
Hawa Manes: I used to buy my African food online which takes days to deliver until I discover this place, I can find almost all African food that I am looking for there, it feels like home, they sell Asian, Indian, Arab and African food there, basically it is an international market, good customer service with reasonable price, I recommend this place
Anisa: Everything is fine but the cashier that’s wearing pink glasses and a hijab needs to fix their attitude because I don’t think it’s right to tell a customer to talk slowly. I mean telling a customer like is not respect. Everything is fine but please tell your that cashier girl to be more nice and respectful. Thanks 😊
ANISH KUMAR: They sell a lot of Indian groceries which is nice! However, make sure that you check the expiration date before buying. I bought a product which later I found out, after coming home, that it was expired. By that point, I had tossed the receipt but the owner was nice enough to accept the return. Thank you for that but make sure you (the owner) check your store’s inventory for expired stuff. Thanks again. I will come back to shop again!
Gourang Garg: Really good and found what we were looking for. Clean store and nice employees. The space between each row in on the short side though. Overall great expirence though and their baklava ROCKS.
Tessah R: They have lamb and banana and strawberry korean milk! Very good stuff and lots of options especially chocolates and their frozen section is great!
Bashir Haj: Is the best halal Meet in Fort Wayne The best customer service I would recommend to everyone
Fatima Valencia: Best samosas only $1 each

Curtis Carpenter: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Curry, Chicken Tikka MasalaMore
Maninder Singh: I went recently this place. The quality of food and flavours was poor. I ordered onion kulca and chaat papdi . have u ever seen kulcha without onion and for chaat papdi they served me chickpeas mix with hot sauce. This is place is joke and their food is as good as frozen food. It is very expensive and they using same gravies for all dishes taste is same. I would not recommend this place for eat🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Smokyboy 88: Best chx curry I ever had the chx berianna 5 * the food I good folks.

tritonrecordings: I went to Taste of India for the first time on a whim this past summer. I had never had Indian food before, and wanted something totally different that day. I've probably been back fifty times since then, I love it! I've since tried the other well-known Indian restaurant in town as well, but I personally find A Taste of India better...and spicier, which I love. (You can order all menu items mild if you prefer. But it's "hot", sometimes "extra hot" for me!) I'm still new to Indian food and still exploring, but I highly recommend the Chicken Vindaloo and the Curry Chicken. The rasam soup is also very nice on a cold day and if you dine in, cool your mouth down with a cold Taj Mahal beer.
Nikaha Greer: Love it
Carrissa Bruce: I just ate there tonight and it was first time eating Indian food. It was delicious and I love that they use chicken breast instead of thighs! The service was fast and the owner and his family were so kind and wonderful. My son and I will be returning a lot and I already recommended to a friend.
Yogi Nayyar: Doesn’t serve dosa and owner yelled at me that they don’t like it’s my fault.
Betty Gil: Delicious.
Luke: Medium wasn't as spicy as I expected, will be back for hot!Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Seddiq Aljardani: They are not good at handlingAnd their food is not tasty and a lot of dirtRecommended dishes Chicken Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala …More
Day Day: Sh** never fails, hits every Friday.
Beverley Danusis: If you like Indiana cuisine, you won't be disappointed at The Taste of India Restaurant. Scrumptious food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Thomas Gaskill: Friendly and attentive staff. Traditional Indian food with good flavor and freshness. Unfortunately I think this restaurant gets over looked due to its location.

Aiden Elliott: Really great food and atmosphere. Very cleanly, and the food came out rather quickly. I’ve been looking for a good Indian place near us, and I think I’ve found itRecommended dishes Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala Saag Paneer Naan Roti and Raitha …More
Nelson M: This is the only Indian restaurant in the Fort Wayne area in my opinion as the other one up North I have never tried nor have the desire based on other reviews. I feel that this restaurant has stepped up the game over the past few years and have improved since the pandemic. We were here over Easter for lunch and was happy to report that they have wonderful service and the food comes out quick. I ordered the Non-Veg Thali (Traditional indian meal served in silver platter with chicken pakora, lamb curry, chicken curry, tandoori chicken, dal, rice, raitha, naan and kheer as dessert) which is a wonderful blend of different food off the menu. The curry was not too spicy unless you request it and everything was cooked perfectly. They give you ample naan and rice for your meal. The lamb also was quite tender and flavorful. I would give this place a 2 thumbs up for any meal!Vegetarian options: Plenty
Dimelo Waterson: Bring your best conversationalists, because the food takes some time to prepare. However, those who wait can expect some of the best Indian dishes in Fort Wayne, in a pristine space with beautiful decor and knowledgeable staff. The service elevates the experience to levels generally reserved for fine dining, in an atmosphere casual enough for a family lunch.I had the saag paneer, and my partner had the chicken makhani. Both were excellent. The Pashawari naan was a highlight for me, and we both left with food to spare.Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options, although vegans should ask staff for suggestions.
Edd thompson: Rather nice and helpful people. Willing to help with pronunciation and suggestions. Tried a lamb dish that was excellent way better than expected. Everything was made fresh. I could hear the prep cook chopping. Take your time, enjoy the flavor and quality.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Valerie Litznerski: Lots of vegan options - clearly indicated. The food was good, not the best Indian I’ve ever had but I look forward to going backRecommended dishes Vegetable Samosa, Aloo Gobi …More
James Early: Good food but they have notorious slow service. It's boarder line ineptness.
DILEEP POLAMURI: This is the worst restaurant I have been to till today. They made us wait for 45 min after we placed our order. We ordered chicken curry and lamb biryani. Chicken curry was a bit managable but lamb biryani was worst. Lamb was stinking and it was nothing close to biryani. It was more of tomoatoe rice with lamb. Staff really didn't care much even though we complained. Please avoid this place unless you are dying. Worst place ever period.
Norris Taema: Horrible stay out of this placeFood: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Ireena Keeslar: Was very good. Appetizers were good enough to make a meal from.I only had 1 complaint, I dropped my knife on the floor and one of the younger girls/waitress came kover and picked it up for me. Nice. But HANDED it back to me! UmmmNO.
Greg Loosle: This was the first time I have tried Indian food. With that being said the chicken dish I had was very tasty. The vegetable samosas apitizer we had was a little too spicy for me (however I can not handle much spice). The garlic naan bread was amazing. The service was great!Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Garlic Naan …More
Bryan Russell Thomas: No longer has a buffet, very disappointing
Rindy Schlatter: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Tikka Masala Saag Paneer Naan Roti and Raitha, Garlic NaanMore
Jeff Van Slyke: Damn good food, but be ready to wait in frustration if there are more than 2 tables filled. The kitchen prioritizes delivery and to-go orders over those seated in the dining room. Waited nearly 1.5 hrs after being seated. Was within about 3 heartbeats from walking out when the food arrived.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Wendy L: Absolutely amazing food. Flavorful and fresh, ample portions, we had plenty of leftovers. Service was very attentive. We'll have to go back because everything on the menu looks amazing.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Tikka Masala Saag Paneer Naan Roti and Raitha, Chicken Makhani, Garlic Naan, Naan …More
Ibrahim Awadallah: We had an excellent experience with this restaurant. The food was great, the spice level was perfect (I ordered medium, I was worried it will be too spicy but it was actually medium). The service was great, several people came to check on us and make sure everything was good. And last but not least the prices were very reasonable. Great experience for sure.

Lake Avenue halal Market: what do users think?
Mr Manhattan: There subs are deliciousPrices very reasonableVery large grocery selection
Eric Booker: The Lake Avenue halal Market is located on the corner of Anthony Boulevard and Lake Avenue at 1732 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805. The ingress and egress to the market are off of Anthony Boulevard. This location appears to be a deli and grocery store. The owner also sells lamb, goat, calf and sheep meats. I usually see healthier alternative foods when ever we shopp here. The carry out and or take out food is prepared in front of you and we also prefer the twelve inch beef or chicken kabob sandwiches over other meals in the area.
Lee Jom: Fresh fruits and best subs in town
emerson campbell: Amazing beef kabob sandwich! Beef pastrami is so good too! I would suggest adding the extra kabob, totally a game changer! The sandwiches are worth it!!!!!
Smokyboy 88: U want to try something different try this guy's sandwiches beef kabab chx kabob both A+ excellent sandwiches excellent price $6.50 👌
John McDonald: Had the beef pastrami sub which was very good! People were very nice as well.
Dennis Walls: Really good sandwiches - we had a roast beef and a corned beef today. The gentleman working the counter was friendly and fast. Really can’t ask for a better lunch. If I lived closer I’d go there much more often.
مأرب - العز والشموخ: The best place in Indiana… I urge everyone to buy and support local family small businesses..
Abdulali Alsalman: Menu update
Jeremy Selvio: Great sandwiches
ali ban: Best best subs and sweets
majed alkady: fresh meat and poultry. amazing sandwiches helpful team.
Annie Collins: I’ve lived around the corner for two year and haven’t stopped in... why?! You have to try the chicken kabob sub!! It’s AMAZING! I am gonna have one everyday now. :) They have a little bit of everything!
David Current: Excellent place for $5.99 foot long sandwiches. Not like the big chain Sub shop on every corner that only gives you 3 thin slices of pre-cut meats, that all taste the same... Lake Avenue Halal Market slices the meat fresh after you order it. There is no pork in a Halal market, so you can not get a ham & cheese, nor bacon on anything. But they have a nice selection of different turkey meats instead of just one. Look at my pictures! I ordered 4 foot longs on Sunday afternoon 10252020. They were excellent sandwiches. They have a bunch of spices that you can't find anywhere else. I get bulk cardamom, fenugreek, turmeric, and many others spices here in plastic to go bowls with lids at very reasonable prices. It worth a trip across town to go here. They have a lot of candy and sodas for the local kids, but they also have Lebanese candy and drinks. Many brands that are not available anyplace else in this area.
Whitney White: This place is awesome! Clean, friendly, and a variety of spices and foods! Ordered a sandwich tonight and it was AWESOME! I have tried to return 3 times in the last week all different times ranging between 10 and 2 and they dont ever seem to be open. Shame.
Man in Green: Their Kabab Sandwiches are the best sandwiches. Size and price is also very good.
Julio Takesh: а вообще еда дорогая? порции большие ? кто-нибудь знает? стоит мне туда ехать или нет?
P McCandless: Very nice market for items not always available at regular grocery stores. Not just middle eastern foods, Indian, Asian, Mediterranean, and more. Reasonable prices.
Khalid Alkady: Lake market like no other marketLamb like no other lamb in Indiana
Bernadette Thomas: This store stinks. I couldn't get pass the odor, so I left.I wouldn't buy anything from there bc of the smell of that place..
Douglas Dine: Excellent small mom and pop specialty shop with Halal food. Always good service.
