Cheers Here: Do yourself a favor and do NOT try to give this place the benefit of the doubt. The negative reviews are very factual and accurate. None of the people I have talked to like it here. Most everyone is doing what they can to move away from this trap hole.I’m so surprised to read good reviews about this place and the last site manager. It can be quiet but it can be very loud. The last manager put most of her effort into not helping you and was always quick to blame shift. She went on vacation and never came back.The people who take care of the trailer side of it all are slightly better at customer service but overall it is clear they don’t care about their tenants. They can be very rude and many of them not properly informed on what they can and can’t do.

This is not my experience.Be careful if purchasing here. You must check the conditions of the grounds and hms. They are falling apart. Mold, rot, rats, mice,cat urine and leaks are prevelant in these hms. By far the worst repairs I have ever seen. Area manager for Stonecrest 2, Heather, is poorly suited for her job. Very unprofessional and counterintuitive to your needs. Yet she boasts of her high status and yet has no ability to calm, validate and commit to address yr. issues. Manager on site may not be totaly honest with u. Expect for them to put u off and do nothing. Thats their MO.They are working toward their interests not yours. Wheres the love in that? This was my first hm. I'm deeply disappointed with their response to my complaints to the extent I needed to call the State Department of Health due to cat urine smell from under trailer filling my hm. They didn't do one thing to address my concerns. Nothing! I was told cat urine smell is normal and under all trailets by Brittany the on site manager for Stonecrest 2. Guess that makes it okay? LOL! When expressing to Heather the lack of follow up from on site manager she may just as well called me a liar. She chose to side with her subordinate in spite of the truth by dismissing my comments. Avoidance and a commitment to not taking responsibility for their property that u will be charged with maintaining and paying $350 ea mo for. These hms are worthless. U wil be upside down fro day one. Then u will be fleeced with property issues, hm. issues and an insane amount of finance charges. Save yourself the hassel, look elsewhere! It would cost more to scrap this hm than what it's worth. Good luck.

DJ smitty: Absolutely not a great place to live. Overpriced and poorly managed. The management team is nowhere to be found during office hours, but will tell you to stop by the office if you need them. I suppose getting paid to do nothing but issue fines to people, that are already broke, is a great way to make a living for these people. Buy a trailer here at your own risk, but I would not recommend it in this lifetime.

The streets constantly floods when it rains, nothing is being down about it . Please do not move here. These issues are not going to be resolved and they give me the run around every day. It’s just a headache. I recently purchased this home last year and was not aware of the pervious conditions but I was told by the staff that I will have to pay out of pocket for something that was ton them. I was not aware e of the conditions the house was until after I purchased it. This is terrible and I wouldn’t recommend this place especially if you have a family.

If I lived there & I had visitors I Would Be HIGHLY UPSET TO be Paying Rent somewhere My friends Could Not visit Without being Mistreated by any employee of the park I pay to live in. People should be able to have company at Their home where they Pay to live Without having Their Friends treated like tresspassers or vagrants. David: I had heard, from a friend that lives there,I used to have higher hopes for this Trailer Park, however, the Owner if the park, raised the Rent by $125.00 before the lease had expired. And tried to strong arm the tenants to pay it, before they actually had to.Some of the tenants decided to sue the owners, to recoup the monies they were out.See, they like to Break The Laws That govern, a Contract. The City / State Do Nothing about it! Some of the tenants aren't as smart as other tenants, so they just go along with the massive price hikes!The Office is openM/W/F ONLY.If you want to live there, you must be fairly desperate for a place to call home. I've noticed, they don't plow there in the Wintertime . So you may get stuck, At the worst possible times. Folks have to mow their own lawns, pay for water and garbage pick up. And if there's a problem w/ the trailer, you have NO recourse, except to take them to Small Claims Court. And if you do, and win, they may find a way to kick you out!! Which many have done. You decide, is it's a "good place" to live?The Owner is always strapped for cash.Doesn't pay for almost anything. Including Maintainance!I would rate that place at$$$1/2.

Aproved us and then told us we had to get rid of one of our dog family members without meeting or checking him out. If they had bothered to check with our referances they would have found that he's better behaved than most children.

Tina Bowen: The neighborhood is nice and clean. It’s very quiet. If I ever have any issues it’s usually resolved within a couple of days. The office staff is always pleasant. I enjoy Shawna she’s always friendly. If you pay your rent on time and keep up on the yard maintenance you won’t have any issues. I always tell everyone it’s the suburbs of trailer parks.

Outstanding maintenance requests are left unfulfilled on our way out.Price is good and is the reason I stay. However, communication is not strong from management, even rude at times. Maintenance is understaffed, possibly under qualified. My day one issues are ones I've had to resolve myself. I've put my foot down and they do cave, but not without lashing out in turn.If you can be self sufficient, this place will treat you well.

Josh Patell: I'm trying to be as fair as possible in my review of this place. 3 stars is probably a little generous but I did live here for a long time.First the good......- Rent is reasonable for a 2-3 bedroom home on the Northwest side of Fort Wayne.- Neighborhood is mostly quiet. We got along well with the majority of our various neighbors through the years. Most of the area's ruckus comes from the neighboring trailer park.- If you pay on time park personnel leave you alone for the most part.Now the negatives.......- Maintenance improved through the years. Some guys are better than others but repairs are typically the bare minimum and you will continuously deal with the same issues through out your time with Edgewood estates. They need more maintenance staff and some maintenance men need far better training or permission to fix things properly.- Management is constantly turning over - get anything you are promised in writing. Several times in 8 years I was made promises that were not kept by transitioning park management. Edgewood did not try to even compromise when it came to these promises. It was basically a sorry about your luck policy.- Management can be hit an miss. Sometimes they are very professional and handle situations properly. Other times they can be very rude.- A minor annoyance. When I moved out I was charged for cleaning of my oven. This was because one side of the oven was dirty. This oven was a replacement oven brought to me by Edgewood Estates maintenance when mine went bad. I cleaned what I could but didn't have a way to pull it out to clean the sides. Overall I returned the oven cleaner than when I received it but still had to pay for $50-$75 for Edgewood to clean a mess I didn't make which was essentially spraying down and wiping one side of the oven.In closing pricing is reasonable if you can deal with minor issues. The homes are reasonably maintained and the neighborhood is mostly quiet.-

Maintenance seems to be the area lacking for the whole time I lived there, but it seems they are getting better. Management was always willing to listen and helpful when needed. We recently moved as we purchased our first home. Rent is pretty high but for the area of town you really can't complain. Thanks 😊 the home we rented wasn't perfect when we moved in, but alot of renters don't care and tear things up which is sad, treat it like your own and keep it nice!

Great community to live in overall.I was a little troubled by pet rules tho, wasn't told we would need a full months deposit, because we moved in on a special, to have 1 pet on top on a monthly fee. 🧐 And type of dogs will be reviewed... pits, rottweilers type of dogs won't be accepted.(😢) But then I see several of those type of dogs around the community. People with several dogs even. 🤔

The Original MaDiva: So guys we were approved to purchase a beautiful home, but due to relocating from Florida it was a no-go on the required 10% down. However the staff at Carrington pt has been amazing! Courtney showed such compassion as did higher management in that office for us! I’m so thankful that they cared enough to hear our frustrations out. (Regarding Florida) This place from day one has felt like “ Home”! The property’s are amazing! So with fingers crossed😉 by lease or home ownership, we will be joining the Carrington Pointe Community. The conclusion for my family will be a definite purchase of a Sun Community home within the next few months!
