Obviously, your cooks are no different that any other cook at any restaurant. Because you serve Italian food, don't mean you have authentic cooks.PSA: perhaps, your staff should take a course at a community college on communication and instruction.There is nothing authentic about this place.Stick with your other business. Shanandoah Martin: I ordered for pick up. A calzone for my husband and !GLUTEN-FREE! baked ziti for myself. I told the person on the phone that took my order gluten free TWICE. And I was still given a regular baked ziti. And am now spending the evening bloated, sick to my stomach with a wicked headache. I know that some people just eat gluten free for their health. But I have celiac disease and gluten makes me absolutely sick. I don’t know if it was laziness with the person on the phone Or laziness with someone in the kitchen, this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Because of this incident I won’t be ordering from this restaurant for a very long time, or ever again.Dietary restrictions: Obviously someone was too lazy to make this food the way I specified it and now I’m sick from it.

Jan: The food is amazing, and the service is outstanding. Portions are XL, and I love the option to get half orders. The full service bar offers a wide variety of drinks and signature cocktails. A+Parking lot is small, so be sure to follow the correct flow. If entering from the west, the lot circles behind the building. So go straight forward and circle around toward the front. If entering from the east, immediately turn right to pass in front of the building and then around the back.Kid-friendliness: Kids are well. There is a separate, fully enclosed bar area if you prefer. It is small with only very limited seating, but its quiet and intimate.Parking: Parking lot is small, so be sure to follow the correct flow. If entering from the west, the lot circles behind the building. So go straight forward and circle around toward the front. If entering from the east, immediately turn right to pass in front of the building and then around the back.Wheelchair accessibility: The restroom is now equipped with a side support bar which is anchored to the floor. Sink and paper towels are challenging. Even standing, I had to reach up to activate the auto dispenser.

Penny Johnston-Bowling: We are from out of town and chose Salvatori’s because of their delicious menu. They again did not disappoint. We placed the order and picked up when we arrived in Ft Wayne. Every dish was perfect, recommendations from the manager were exactly on point. All our guests were extremely happy. Dessert choices were perfect. Thanks for making our retirement party a huge success. We Weil visit again next time we are in town.

Grace Fowler: This has become a new staple for me when I’m in the area. Came in with my extended family last night. They got us seated in less than 30 minutes despite it being a Saturday night. The breadsticks were some of the best I’ve ever had, even in NYC, and the main dishes were great. The best part, though, was hands down the service. Our server was amazing and I wish I could have service like that all time.

Dawn Etman: The food was good. However, Jennifer the hostess was very rude. I waited 10 minutes to even be addressed I waited in line, after a women left and I went up to Jennifer and said I had a take out order and she rudely said she was helping someone else and I had to wait. I was unaware that the women went to her car. Then it was my turn, she rudely gave me my receipt and directed me to the wrong table to get my food. She had me stand there waiting. The other hostess helped me. That hostess was very nice and was helping everyone. This is my second encounter with Jennifer regarding her rude behavior.

I had to add a little red pepper to my red sauce because I thought it was lacking just a hint of something, and that was it BUT this is purely just a personal preference and not a criticism.The building may seem out of place or even small on the outside but it's a decent size (we had a party of 20+ and we took up one room and they had another room on main level and then an upstairs level)...its been there for 40+ years and still has that family atmosphere, the walls covered in the family's photos throughout the years adds to that feeling.The portions were not American sized but actual portion size, and although we didn't leave with leftovers, we left feeling full but not miserable, and we were both able to enjoy dessert.....yes, dessert! Which for a girl like me that has a severe allergy to dairy and severe intolerance to gluten (plus 5 other food intolerances....and yes I know, going to an authentic Italian place to eat with these allergies, be like 🤦♀️🤷♀️😁), the fact that I was able to get a dessert was amazing 👏 and it was custard with a fresh strawberry sauce, and delicious!!We spent $80 for 2 of us (total includes a $20 tip because she was good, knowledgeable, and on top of everything) and we had fresh Italian bread at the table, I had a glass of wine (he a soda), he had an appetizer, and we each had our main entree which included a house salad with homemade dressing (again, allergy friendly for me) and our desserts for that price makes it easily comparable to Applebee's or Olive Garden prices BUT the food is way better here!!

Brittany Ortega: Great food and atmosphere. Had a date here. Didn't realize they had a live band that Friday evening so it was a pleasant surprise 🙂 I forgot my takeout container but my fault. Parking could be better, but it's doable.

Victor rosa: Great portion for the price. The food was good but I sauce was not what I expected. The red sauce was over powered by what I think was wine. Wine is a great way to cut the acidity in the sauce but in moderation. The meatballs were very good, I do recommend them.

Chad Watson: The food at the Venice is and always has been delicious! For an appetizer we had breaded mushrooms and they were yummy. For main entrees we had a sausage roll and a meat lovers Italian style pizza and it was a ton of food and was fabulous! They didn't have any servers on the floor yet so the bartender waited on us. We were in the dining room and she was at the bar where she couldn't see us so the service was a little slow but she was friendly. We will be back soon!

Alex Riggers: First of all, the bartender, who also answered my phone call for the carry out order, was so friendly and nice. Her name was Joyce. Said pizza would be done in about 25 minutes, took a little longer. Cost for a large cheese was $15.64, definitely not the cheapest in Fort Wayne, but not a bank breaker either.Place was a little dingy, but it's a bar, so.Pizza review: Pretty good pizza. I asked for a large 14" cheese, done. They delivered, but not actually lol. Crust had that good crunch to it and held the pizza up, while also having good flavor. Underside was surprisingly plain, usually being this toasted they are a little dark on the bottom. Cheese tasted good, with heavy tones of toasted mozzarella. Seasoning, as seen on top of the cheese were strong, leading with basil and oregano? Sauce had a semi sweet taste up front, but mellows down into more of a classic pizza sauce flavor... could have had a touch more sauce, pizza just seemed a touch dry. Overall, Joyce, the bar, the pizza, 7.1? Good pizza, great bartender.
