Victor rosa: Great portion for the price. The food was good but I sauce was not what I expected. The red sauce was over powered by what I think was wine. Wine is a great way to cut the acidity in the sauce but in moderation. The meatballs were very good, I do recommend them.

Chad Watson: The food at the Venice is and always has been delicious! For an appetizer we had breaded mushrooms and they were yummy. For main entrees we had a sausage roll and a meat lovers Italian style pizza and it was a ton of food and was fabulous! They didn't have any servers on the floor yet so the bartender waited on us. We were in the dining room and she was at the bar where she couldn't see us so the service was a little slow but she was friendly. We will be back soon!

Said pizza would be done in about 25 minutes, took a little longer. Cost for a large cheese was $15.64, definitely not the cheapest in Fort Wayne, but not a bank breaker either.Place was a little dingy, but it's a bar, so.Pizza review: Pretty good pizza. I asked for a large 14" cheese, done. They delivered, but not actually lol. Crust had that good crunch to it and held the pizza up, while also having good flavor. Underside was surprisingly plain, usually being this toasted they are a little dark on the bottom. Cheese tasted good, with heavy tones of toasted mozzarella. Seasoning, as seen on top of the cheese were strong, leading with basil and oregano? Sauce had a semi sweet taste up front, but mellows down into more of a classic pizza sauce flavor... could have had a touch more sauce, pizza just seemed a touch dry. Overall, Joyce, the bar, the pizza, 7.1? Good pizza, great bartender.

Meredith Emily: I went here on a Sunday night with 6 other family members (my 3 kids included). Our waitress (I didn't catch her name) was so attentive, complimented my hair color and was super friendly. At the end of our meal, she informed us that my daughter's meal came with a small ice cream sundae. She was very sweet in asking what toppings she wanted. Our server then comes back with 3 sundaes! Simply Green: Nice place. A little different style as far as ordering takes place. Looked through the menu, get up, and order. Get your own coffee, and then we were served as normal after that. So kind of self serve king of not. Not a big deal all was good. Had breakfast here. Keep in mind that my review is simply my opinion.

Michael Johnson: Sat for 45 minutes at our table and was never greeted, while watching 3 tables that arrived after us all get served food. We were never once acknowledged so we walked out. Called them after to let them know we left and was told a manager would email us. No email to speak of. Had plans to buy drinks, lunch, and even an appetizer... we were really excited to spend our money but were not able to.

DS Wattley: There wasn’t a host at the host stand when we arrived. So we waited until the bartender finally came around and sat us. Then waited for our server. It was extremely busy and only two servers looked like and a bartender. Food took forever to come out and the drinks took over 20 mins… very understaffed and chaotic experience.

Seriously, I've seen better steaks at Walmart. The atmosphere and service were good though. I'll probably give it another shot based on that alone. Just skip the steak.

Grace Fowler: This has become a new staple for me when I’m in the area. Came in with my extended family last night. They got us seated in less than 30 minutes despite it being a Saturday night. The breadsticks were some of the best I’ve ever had, even in NYC, and the main dishes were great. The best part, though, was hands down the service. Our server was amazing and I wish I could have service like that all time.

I waited 10 minutes to even be addressed I waited in line, after a women left and I went up to Jennifer and said I had a take out order and she rudely said she was helping someone else and I had to wait. I was unaware that the women went to her car. Then it was my turn, she rudely gave me my receipt and directed me to the wrong table to get my food. She had me stand there waiting. The other hostess helped me. That hostess was very nice and was helping everyone. This is my second encounter with Jennifer regarding her rude behavior.

If you can, this place is one of the top ten I've eaten at and I eat at many places like this.

Through an unfortunate series of mistakes and miscommunications my reservation was cancelled.I was contacted by the owner of Baker Street Steakhouse, James who personally took time to speak with me. Not only did he speak with me, he heard me. I was not rushed and I feel he genuinely cared.I was treated as a person and not just another lost sales opportunity. He went above and beyond to fix all of the wrongs and then some. James arranged for my mothers party to be held at another one of his restaurants, Proximo. He personalized the menu which even said Happy Birthday Karen, he even gave complimentary chocolates and gift cards, and treated the entire party like his own family. Everyone left the restaurant with an amazing experience.The service was phenomenal. No one's glass was ever less than half full, the food was superb, quick, and friendly service was experienced all night.From this experience I have learned that when Baker Street says they want you to be treated like family, they truly mean it! This has opened my eyes and gives me hope that there are still decent people among us. A business that cares.In a world where customer service is failing Baker Street is rising to the top and proving themselves a top performer.The way Baker Street responded to this mistake was absolutely amazing and I can not say enough good things at this point. James and his staff created a fairy tale situation for my mother and I am forever grateful! The party was better than anything I could do and the attention to detail was unmatched.Thank you Baker Street and Proximo we'll see ya'll soon!

Karen Burnside: Have you ever been treated like Cinderella? Me neither until 2/18/2023. I had a surprise birthday party at Proximo Restaurant which is owned by Baker Street. I was told there had been a mix up with reservations prior to the dinner but owner James made everything 200% right.Never in my 70 years have I ever seen the generosity and care that the owner shown me. I wish I were a writer so I could put into words how I feel. I am so blessed to have a loving family, friends, and James who made my fairy tale come true.
