D “Just another reviewer” S: Some woman in her 80s in front of us had like $400 in groceries and was unloading them as slow as possible, despite a long line behind her. When i walked up behind her, she said, "I gave you a chance to go ahead of me, but you waited too long, so too bad." The female associate who was checking her out was about 80, too, and didn't bother to call up another employee help on the other registers.

George Snyder: My wife and I stopped in at Walgreens this afternoon on coliseum at the corner of State. This has got to be the worst positioned building in the city for getting in and out of the parking lot.It is in a convenient location if you're going the correct direction otherwise forget it.If there's no one else in the store you might be able to get out in a decent time, otherwise expect a wait in line. The lines are always long.We stopped using the pharmacy a long time ago this is a good thing. I saw they were training a young girl and I felt sorry for her. I've heard employees in the past complain about the manager. I've seen the manager yell at female workers in front of customers. I had a problem with them more than once when I went in to pick up Prints I had developed that he accused me of stealing from the internet.Often it seems as though there might be only one person working the store? Often it seems like there's no one around at all.Also, they used to be 24 hours which they are not anymore which makes it difficult to those late night ice cream bars I used to be so fond of.We occasionally stopped there because they're on our main route, and when we leave we usually feel like we paid a little bit too much, and waited in line too long and next time we'll go somewhere else, and sometimes we do.The store was clean, we made our purchase, and we carefully made our way out of the parking lot into speeding traffic where you can't hardly see the oncoming traffic to get out in one piece.

She refused to sell a juul usb battery charger to me because I had my 14 year old little brother with me who doesnt carry id because he is a kid. I am well Over the legal age with id. I was also in a hurry during this visit as well as disappointed and dissatisfied with the entire decision of going to this walgreens. Unfortunately was so upset I didnt catch the distasteful womans name.

Amanda Lapham: On Saturday, June 18th I purchased a $100 00 vanilla mastercard gift card for my husband at Walgreens on state and wells street in fort wayne indiana. This gift card was for my husband's Father's day gift. Sunday June, 20th came around and before he headed out to use it I called the back of the card to confirm the amount of $100.00. The gift card stated it was loaded and ready to be used. He went to spend it at a local hardware store and the card was denied. Upon his arrival home I called the back of the card and it stated there was an issue with the activation and to return the retail store where it was purchased. On Sunday, June 20th I returned to Walgreens and spoke to the manager, Macala. I explained the situation and she was unhelpful and provided me with no customer service. She stated that since I have an activation slip "Walgreens" did everything on their end. Also no refunds could be made however this disclaimer was not pointed out until she referred me to the activation slip. She said that Walgreens has many problems with this particular gift card however they continue to sell them. When I called vanilla mastercard they stated the card had a $0 balance and was used online for a bogus purchase in the amount of a $100.00. I was told they couldn't help me, I had to call back in a week to start an investigation. Needless to say we are middle class working adults and now out of $100. The lady from Walgreens did not attempt to help me in any manner. These gift cards should have a disclaimer on top or near where the gift cards ar purchased.

Laura Daugherty: I had the most RIDICULOUS issues with Doordash tonight after placing an order through the Walgreens app for delivery. The manager of this Walgreens, Christian, helped me for more than an hour to get my issues resolved and made sure I got my order. If you're an awards member, you get points for every prescription filled. I've had a couple of prescriptions that were under insured and the techs took it upon themselves to find me discount coupons which saved me a LOT of money. Good place; loyal customer for years and plan to stay.

Justin Moe: This place must have no manager, at least not a professional one...Cashiers that literally just walk away from you saying "I have to go to the bathroom" after already acknowledging you and started checking you out.The pharmacy can't even tell you when your prescription will be ready despite having 8 hours to fill your prescription. Cool, then please don't tell me it will be ready when it won't. Then when I get there you can't even tell me if it'll ever be ready....Just stay away from this headache.

Dennis Long: February 25, 2019Attention Walgreens Shoppers: I submitted a prescription to Walgreens and was astonished to learn that the price is four (4) times higher I was paying for the same drug, same quantity and same dosage at another pharmacy.The pharmacist told me that the higher priced drug was due to the contractual relationship between Walgreens and Humana, my insurer. Humana denies Walgreens comment and states the higher price is because Walgreens is charging a higher price than the previous pharmacy, and Humana’s contractual arrangement with Walgreens is a non- issue.

Google User: The pharmacy at this store is a disgrace. We never use their pharmacy because it costs about 4x as much for the same medications at other pharmacies, however this is one of few that flavors medications for children. We had been getting medication filled at another pharmacy and flavored here for 4 months with no issues. When we went for the 5th month, the pharmacist tech refused to so it so I asked to speak with a manager who was flat out rude from the get go. Basically called me a liar stating they have never flavored another pharmacy's medication. Long story short I had to have him pulled up a card transaction from a month prior to prove to him I am not a liar. He refused to do anything to help one last time since I already filled the medication and couldn't fill it again. I asked for a store manager afterwards to let her know my displeasure and she was ignorant and unhelpful. I will NEVER return to this pathetic excuse of a store. No wonder they charge more for prescriptions for the same medications/insurance - they have to make up for their abhorrent service that keeps more people away.
Jillian Fields: I have not had one good experience with this locations photo printing.This one woman would turn the button around so i didn’t not know to push it to have her come over. She saw me standing there and preceded to do what she was doing until someone finally told me to turn the button around and hit it. Even after i waited an hour for my prints because it said it would be ready... they still were not.This last time i was just in there, i rang it and a different woman still took awhile to get over. After not being able to find my order i offered to submit it again because i “have places i need to get to.” (Like i said) she still looked around places i don’t know why my pictures would be at and then after submitting because i needed to get the heck out of there; a manager came out to help me.I’ll stick to Meijer next time.

Very disappointed

Shelby Patterson: Rude staff who disrespect their customers. I had tried to find someone to assist in finding an item. I waited in line for a question. I peeked my head around the corner and asked if I could ask a question. The lady said, "I am taking a test" so I stepped back to finish waiting. As I did I see her look to a coworker with not very appropriate non verbal remarks. So, I called her out on them and said simply, "I can still see you". So your employee in the Pharmacy took upon her to continue the interaction by replying strongly, "you started this with attitude first!" I didn't know that this was appropriate for an interaction with customers. And I did not have any attitude with her.

Chris Strawser: My doctor sent in a prescription and Walgreens Pharmacy filled the wrong amount. I didn't notice until it was too late and I needed a refill. I can't go a day without this medicine, let alone 5 hours, so I took the refill and insurance wouldn't cover it because it was too soon. I paid full price and called my doctor as soon as I could to get the real prescription sent in again.When going back to try to get things right, I was told tough luck. I didn't notice their screw up right away, so I was screwed out of the full price of the medicine. Very rude customer service.I ended up paying for their incompetency. I'll do a better job in the future verifying the amount on the bottle when I pick up my prescriptions (not from that Walgreens) making sure that they do their job correctly.

I have never had a problem and nothing but helpful people who actually care. Tonight at work I got sick and couldn't leave (the happiness of retail management, the Captian never leaves her ship). I take more meds than I hate to admit, but they took the time to make sure Immodium would work with my meds and keep me alert to finish my shift.Thank you all there! ♡♡♡♡

Nicolette Fields: Never ever use this facility for off Fed Ex shipping. I dropped my package off Tuesday at five and was told it would be picked up at 8 PM. When I tracked my package the following day it had never been picked up. I called for follow-up and was given the runaround. Then I was told Maybe Fedex would come today or tomorrow. Absolutely NO customer service!!

It's a pretty handy feature if your Walgreens doesn't happen to carry what you need.The only other thing about this particular Walgreens is that whoever designed the entrance must enjoy unnecessary turns and travel distance.
Ray Tracer: Pharmacy is hit or miss, but a recent experience a few weeks ago was the final nail in the coffin for me. Went to pick up some meds from this location as I always do, pharmacy employee tells me it will be an outrageous amount of money and told me "You've never picked this up here before". I told her the name of the medication twice to try and confirm she had the correct meds pulled up, but she ended up just chuckling at me and assured me I've never picked up here before (which I have multiple times). I left empty handed. A couple calls to my doctor and Walgreens later and it was determined that yes, she indeed pulled up the totally wrong medication. Mistakes happen and I get that, but her laughing at me as if I had no idea what I was doing was totally unnecessary, especially considering it was her screw up the entire time. Had to make an extra trip back for no reason. Wont make the mistake of sending my meds here again.
Keepin'ItReal: A prescription was to be filled by 4 p.m. Got notice LESS THAN A HALF HOUR before pick-up that it was out of stock. Called to ask if I could have it transferred to another nearby Walgreens, so I could have it today. Male pharmacist informed me, none to nicely, "You can have it transferred where ever you want!" Asked if I needed to call the other Walgreens to do so, and again, not so nicely, was told, "Well, if you want me to do it, it will be at least a half hr, as I have people waiting." Alrighty then. Moving my business.Adding: I DID call another Walgreens. Where I received great treatment: apologized for not having it in stock; they checked other Walgreens, without my asking, and LMK who had it in stock; then said they would call and have it taken care of.

Ma Naparat: I went in with my mom on Monday, October 31 so she could get her flu shot. The wait was well beyond 20 minutes at the front window. When it was our turn at the window, the lady said we have to go to the other window around the corner. So we went there and the guy that was there didn’t even greet us for a good 5 minutes. He then asked, “How can I help you?” So I explained to him that I made an appointment for my mom to get her flu shot. He directed us to a different window. We had to wait an additional 10 minutes for someone to greet us at that window. And the lady there was really rude. She just kept glaring at us as I was explaining to her the situation as to why my mom and I are there. She looked up my mom’s insurance information on the computer and told us that her insurance won’t cover her flu shot. We waited over 30 minutes for that message. The people we interacted with was very unprofessional. I understand it gets busy, so they have a lot of things to take care of. But, the least they can do is just be nice. There’s no need to be rude and impatient.
zAHEr AlDIk: The managers at photo department were so kind to wave the charge of my posters because I had an issue with my order for 2 times but the third was the charm, I actually felt well respected as a costumer, not so common in these days ( Covid era) .
Aayush Patel: You'll wait in line for long periods of time at the drive-up window and on multiple occasions, I've pulled up to the window and they just ignore me for a solid 5 minutes or so. I understand they have other clients at the walk-up counter and that is understandable to alternate but I should be acknowledged when I pull up. Especially if you're going to stand at the window on the computer and work on something. A simple "I'll be with you shortly" goes a long way and they can't even do that. It's rude to deliberately not make eye contact with the next patient and give no acknowledgement that they are there. I've also had this happen at the walk-up counter. I wait for 5 minutes or longer before someone even says something to me... customer service goes a long way and being short staffed is no excuse for poor communication with customers.

They then redirected me to the East DuPont location .I asked if they could let another Walgreens know I was on my way, I was then told that this new location didn’t have a busy store and I would be in and out . Got to the other store on East DuPont was waited another 30 minutes.very inconsiderate to people’s time . Customer service. Needs to be established!

William Hamilton: My wife tried to get a script filled for our sick daughter and the lady at the counter said she could fill the script without our insurance card. My wife tried to explain that we have TriCare and it’s run off my SSN and DOB. The lady refused to help her and demanded a military ID. I’m out of town on a military work trip and had to call and talk to the pharmacist to resolve the issue. The pharmacist took my information and ran the insurance and got my daughters scripts ready. The lady at the counter could’ve easily done the same with my wife giving her the information. I will never go here again.

They took her vitals the same time as someone else and they didn’t even remember what the numbers were, not to mention they told the other person to write their vitals down and the person asked about their vital and the nurse said they’re your vitals not mine. He told me to go to hospital.. it sounds like lack of oxygen.. I went to hospital and they found a blood clot. Under my left arm pit.. hospital rushed me to heart center.. my life was saved.. . I have nothing but respect for walgWalgr and there staff.. I thank you for saving my life

Harl Delos: I used to be a loyal Walgreen customer in the 1980s, Every so often, I stop in, and I decide not to come back soon. They don't have the prices, the selection, or the service to draw me away from other stores. They have narrow aislews in places, the lights glare, and they are noisy.It's not bad enough to make me hate them, but I don't love them as I did when Jim Place was my pharmacist at Lincoln Park Plaza. It;s just that there are a lot of choices these days, and I can't think of a single reason to go to Walgreens.I currently use Scott's/Kroger for my prescriptions. Far from perfect, but the pharmacists are above-average friendly, and best of all, they deliver. (It's free, but I tip the guy, because I don't want him to quit and be replaced by another guy.)

I turn and walk towards the door, the man is talking, but the tears rolling from my eyes were to heavy to hear another word that he was saying ...
