The two gentlemen who made the delivery were professional and competent. They didn't leave until they demonstrated the various features of the umbrella. Kristy Welty: Purchase a hot tub from them, had no idea how to run it, that contacted a repair man who showed up when nobody was here and we had no idea how to run it still. Call greatest escape, they said they will contact the repairman and have him reach out to me because they don't know anything about how to run anything. Needless to say the repair man never bothered to get back with me even though he knew I needed him. Ended up calling the manufacturer of the hot tub in order to get any answers because I couldn't get any from greater escape, or the repairman that they use. If you know how to use a hot tub, you're good to go if you have any questions about how to run your brand new hot tub go somewhere else.the ONLY reason for the 3 star Was given is because it showed up on time period other than that, we felt incredibly disappointed that nobody in the store knew how to run our hot tub, and the Manual received was not even for the hot tub that we bought. It was extremely frustrating as our hot tab cut running and running and running and running and we did not know Why. Oh I know is it kept on running and costing us a lot of money. Once we, and the manufacturer, got it running we like it. But the customer service was horrible as far as helping us. All they could say was will contact the hot tub repair guide again, they're really really behind and it will probably be 2 weeks before he can even get to you. I contacted the repairman directly with absolutely no response even though we needed help Explanation point explanation point I just don't know that I will go back because of the frustration . They told us if we had any problems that we could contact them and they would be able to help us. We went in and wanted to know what our hot tub was going to need as far as chemicals and how to run it okama and the girl that helped us seemed to know very very little. We were going on a manual that wasn't even for our hot tub, but she did not understand how the chemicals were supposed to be and how much we would need to use for our particular Unit. Just extremely unknowledgeable about what they are selling

TravnShar Blackburn: We put a deposit down on a hot tub in Dec. 2021 to hold the sale prices that were currently being offered. We were waiting to close on a house and were hoping things would work out in order to place a final order. We were told that putting the 500 down did not obligate us in any way and that it was fully refundable if we were to change our minds. Keep in mind...no order had been placed. We were not receiving nor ordering anything for the 500 other than it was supposed to hold the sale price in case we made a purchase within 6 months. We have had issues with getting fencing up and other circumstances have made it so that we need to forgo getting the hot tub at this time. When we went in to get our money back we were told that the request had to be sent to corporate for review. What the heck! We still haven't heard back as to whether our money is going to be returned. Why would this be in question at all since NOTHING was provided to us for the $ 500 and we placed no order...so nothing at all to cancel? This experience has made it so that when we are ready to purchase a hot tub we will go elsewhere

Mark Burrows: We have experienced unacceptable customer service at this store. It has been maddening how we have been treated as a customer and for that reason I would suggest shoppers take their business elsewhere. We had issues with the bozos who delivered and put together our expensive outdoor set. It was done incorrectly, missing a major bolt, and we had to work hard at having someone else come out to fix it. And recently a defective umbrella stand. No apology from the store manager for the inconvenience, no flexibilty in resolving the issue-it was totally clear he could care less about our business!

Michael Blomberg: We bought a patio table and six chairs (two of them are swivel) on 5-23-2022 to finish off our new deck. One of the chairs had a broken foot and we called them right away. I took a picture of it and sent it to them. They said warranty would cover it. The one they sent was put in a standard envelope, the was ripped out of it somewhere along it's route. I called them again and they said they would check on it. It is now 7-10-2022 no foot yet. Customer service is really lacking at this place. I would recommend that If you buy something at this store that you open it up there and inspect every last item and leave it there if something is wrong or broken, then go somewhere else you will be much happier.

Rick Kern: About a month ago, we ordered a patio set - 6 chairs and a table. The price and buying experience were pleasant. Upon delivery, the driver told us that the table was back-ordered, and that the people at the store told him we had been previously notified of that. The fact is that no such notification had occurred. I called to complain of the lack of notification, and to find out when delivery of the table could be expected. The person I spoke to denied, on the spot, that nobody at the store had told the driver that we had been notified of the back-order. How he could instantly know that is an impossibility. I was simply looking for an admission that a mistake had been made, and that an effort to do better would be undertaken. Instead, I was greeted with dishonesty and a flippant attitude. I had to force the guy to inquire as the projected delivery date for the table. I understand that items get delayed by the manufacturer, and that the seller has no control over that. The seller does have a duty to inform the customer of a back-order status, and to provide the customer with a projected delivery date. The great Escape failed horribly in this regard, and when taken to task about it, demonstrated a combative and dishonest argument instead of being forthright and helpful.

Veronica Jarvis: Usually the staff is very attentive, but were not that day. I saw multiple staff members standing around, but when I went to the counter, not a single one came. The man behind the desk was on the phone, so it's usually customary for someone else to step in. As I was waiting, a couple walked in the business and a staff member came from behind me to greet them and ask if she could help them. Very unprofessional.

Then they schedule delivery to call the same day and say they can’t install it but want to drop the parts off. Okay fine- unprofessional when they dropped items off complaining about us putting it in the basement- so it went in the garage. Come back next day to set up. When asked where the pool sticks and everything were, said in the garage in a box. First off there was nothing there- secondly part of setting things up is setting things up. They cracked both support beams under the table, scratch on the top and the pocket inserts look like they were run over. Call the store and have gotten the run around ever since. We shopped local to support them over a big business and this is the service we get. 4K later and still don’t have the pockets fixed or cracked beam. We get another story every time we call. I will not ever shop here again.

They go nicely with the other furniture in the houses, antiques that have been in the family for 80-100+ years. The pieces from Rainbow were purchased over a period of 5 years. We are thinking about purchasing another end table and wing back chair and if we do, we will go to Rainbow.I have impressed with the knowledge of Tim about the furniture in his store, his ability to assess what would go well together and his willingness to spend time, helping us to decide. I was especially impressed when, in January, he helped to select the fabric for the recliner. Tim suggested a certain color and type of fabric for the recliner - basing his suggestion upon a cell phone photo of the floral rug already in the house and his recollection of what the sofa (purchased 4 years before) looked like. The recliner was delivered in February - and it looks really nice with the rug and sofa.We are most pleased.

I understand that prices across the board have gone up but still expected Big Lots to have deals.
