Good Games Indianapolis: what do users think?
Richard Johnson: Lots of games buy not my type.
Kaoe Hikaru: Friendly staff, good layout and wide selection of games. Good playmat collection to choose from as well. Good selection of cheap magic bulk.
Dr. William Starsiak: Great game shop in downtown Indy
Joe Fields: Pretty much the only place downtown you can go and find TCG goods. Nice selection of dice and other accessories, they carry last year or so of sealed MTG. Singles section is a little thin. Will be stopping back in when downtown. Staff is excellent.
Josh Winters: Great game store
Nicolas Howell: Good amount of space, good selection. Can fill up quickly for larger events, but people are friendly.
Joni Heredia: Shout out to Sable and Good Games. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Went there to buy/sell Pokémon cards, and I also saw that the store was super clean and organized. They sell singles and everything else Pokémon, Magic, and of course, games. There is plenty of street parking. I highly recommend you stop in with your friends and family.
M. Martin: Stoked to find all the Pokemon we ever wanted downtown, plus extra happy the staff was so cool to my kids.
Bradley Summerlot: A cool store. A little high on some singles and low on others. Just watch it.
Nav Loveday: A cute game shop in the heart of downtown. A great selection of table-top games and accoutrements. MTG cards are sold here. There are also some tables set up in the back area. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Jordan Beasley: No other business in the area would let my wife and kid use the restroom (even as paying customers!)These folks gave us kindness when we needed it. My daughter picked out and bought her first set of polyhedral dice while we were there, and she calls them her "treasures" and is enjoying them right now. Thanks folks! When I come back for Gen Con or to see family again, I will stop by!
Ryan McCall: A friendly staff and a bit of everything. Well worth a stop in
Tunsin: I love this store with all my heart, it has things from all the franchises I like, and it’s a great place for likeminded people to come together.
James Crosby: Buy far one of the best game stores in the USA. As a trucker I travel an have been to many especially in the whole middle of the country and this store had just about the works. Trade in values was amongst the best I've seen as well as the prices was fair. Solod 5 star for exceptional customer service Eric one of the store managers was amazing! Highly recommended checking these guys out. There MTG single selection is vast just use there handy kiosk instore or go online. Not to mention they're literally center downtown on the strip of Indianapolis! 💯
Deion Conley: I brought in over 50 cards for trade in, they got me in store credit for them at a good price. Super chill and easy going staff.
Josh Lemons: Amazing selection. Great space with helpful people.
Gene Lane: Friendly staff, good deals to be had, and cold drinks.

Saltire Games Family & Hobby Game Store: what do users think?
Dan Sinclair: Nice family friendly place to play and learn new games. Staff is very courteous and willing to answer questions.
Christopher Smell (Crazy Crae): Cool store, lots to look at. Friendly staff.
S. Johnson: Friendly and helpful with a good selection of games. Also found some beautiful dice to add to the hoard.
John Smith: The store has really changed things around. They have all new product, much bigger selections, new paint, carpeting and it is actually cold in the store now! Also, some new super friendly employees. This is my new favorite store to be at. If you've never been there, check it out. If you used to go but stopped, give them another shot.
warmchoccy: Staff are really great, we have weekly dnd groups and they’re very helpful, clearing tables off for us if the main ones are taken, letting us borrow whiteboard markers, etc. Good place to go for pretty much any tabletop game
Allie Lauritson: I love this store, it makes for great date time. It is the store we choose to buy our games at.
Brad Wood: As someone who cut my teeth on D&D in the early eighties but find the newest edition extremely disappointing, I began to explore other systems. I am now a huge fan of Call of Cthulhu, Traveller, and other games. Walking into almost every local game store, you are met with walls of D&D 5e garbage (imho) and not much else. However, Saltire Games gives you a wide variety of systems to choose from (there's still D&D stuff for all you weirdos out there 😂). Imagine browsing the books you've only on seen online and finding new ones you've never seen...it was fantastic. The staff at Saltire was also amazing and very friendly. Make the trip and you'll be amazed too.
Dan Wolff: Excellent selection, best wargame store in town. Lots of fun and rare board games and novelties. Great staff and open tables for games to check out as well as rent/buy. 10/10 dice display!
Wil: Amazing selection of paint and products.
Flash Gitz: 3 tables is not enough space
Chris “Nemisiscw” Webb: Very helpful staff and a great selection.
Brittany Stallcup: My son and I loved our first experience here! We had never played before and the staff and everyone attending the game was so friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to come back next Wednesday to play again!
Victor DeBolle: Awesome selection and friendly staff, probably the best game store in the city
J. Miles Canino: My wife and I aren’t out here too often (it’s a long drive), but when we’re in Indy, we stop here to stock up on models. Nice selection of everything! The staff is very friendly and are very understanding when we lose track of our various rewards cards. Please make the rewards program virtual!
Conor Boyer: Good, clean store, friendly and helpful staff, small but good selection of gunpla, quite a few nice MG and RG kits (most notably a wing zero ver.ka), as well as effect parts and action base decorations.
N Odell: Really fluffy stuffed animals. Awesome!
Justin Porter (Haven Raceway and Hobby): Amazing location with friendly and motivated staff. Genuinely raises the bar for gaming shops in my experience
Marah Barker: Happened upon this store by accident, but I am so glad I did. They have a bit of everything. Lots of Warhammer, DND, and lots of source books. Lots of paint, dice and accessories too. They have board games, kids games and toys. You can rent board games from them as well. Super friendly staff and we will be back for sure!
Joy Carter: Helpful staff great selection
Adam Goetz: Since I moved back to this side of town I have been to saltire twice and each time I have had strange and not very welcoming time there. The first I was asking about the grex airbrushs as I was looking to upgrade my current set up. The sales person straight up told me they were professional equipment and not for beginners. Then proceeded to talk down to me about what is needed for airbrushing. The second I was looking for a particular rpg system and after I said it was weird that I could not find it. Another rep started saying that they don't carry it because that companies online sales don't bring in customers. Now i did not ask this rep about it. This could have been covered by a oh sorry we don't carry that product. As someone who use to game at the old location regularly I don't know if it a change in ownership or staffing but it sadly means I am going elsewhere for my gaming needs.
Kristina Hunt: Excellent selection of tabletop games/toys for all ages (there's a whole section for toddlers), rpg dice (sets from basic to gemstones), lots of minis & painting supplies, rpg source/adventure books, and larping weapons that look simply amazing. Staff is super nice & helpful!

Games to Die For: what do users think?
Alan Cockrell: Jerry is a really nice guy and runs a good shop.
Karissa Stichter: It's a fun store with a ton of fun games and an area to play, too! The staff is knowledgeable and kind and a pleasure to talk to when you make your way in. Directions to the businesses in these areas are always a little off, but once you find it it's much easier to get back for your next visit.
Alichia Wilson: Love this place for games and cards. The owner is very nice and willing to show people how to play games. All employees here are very friendly and willing to help out customers. One of my favorite game stores.Update:Still love this place. Go quite often
Monica Murphy: Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Outlandish Matt: Great store. Stopped in to look for a card but unfortunately they did not have it (they have their inventory online) but recommended other stores that may. I would highly recommend stopping in.
Jonathan wright: Always come here when I visit my family. Great people and friendly.
Brennan Joseph: Went in looking for a deck of many things for my dnd game. Owner was incredibly rude, with a holier than thou attitude. I've been to this store multiple times, and my experience has been consistently worse every time. Do not come here.
Jenny Abbott: They were very nice and helpful. I found a few different items I have not been able to find any where.
Zure: Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, good vibes, and nice areas for playing. Highly recommend!
John Mosley II: Great store and helpful staff and players
Robin Prince: Yes!
CJ W: Nice place fun to play mtg at
Chad Bradley: Absolutely terrible service. These people have no respect for their customers. I would recommend going to any other company.
Jeremiah Sheffler: First time customer. Owner & staff are super helpful and friendly. Made our visit very enjoyable for my son. Gained a regular customer.
Lil B The Based God: Has a pretty expansive collection of cards that I've purchased from for years. I will say this place is not where you want to go to sell your cards. They will buy your cards as heavily played with a piece of "dirt" on the back (you could scratch it off-I did with no damage to the card) and then sell it as moderately played for 3.5x what they offered you. Other than that, it's a great store that I enjoy coming to and playing magic with friends.
Milton Ginebra: This seller is acting strangely about online sales. There is a ton of buyers leaving negative reviews with the same issue I am facing. They claim they had thousands of orders during the holidays, are not equipped to handle them and we are supposed to feel bad. With all the money they made they could hire extra help. All they did was create the USPS label online (to get paid) but after three weeks have not handed off the package to USPS, this is clearly a scam. Stay away
Allan: Good selection for Skirmish wargames. A few nitpicks: it was dimly lit, they had me enter the price of my order into their POS system which was strange, store was pretty disorganized, and my online pickup order never reflected the fact that I actually paid and picked up--it just eventually got cancelled. If you're just trying to play MTG or Infinty these things don't matter, but if you're introducing new people to your hobbies these are all a turn-off.
Whamo Blamo: Very nice homely location for table top stuff and magic card singles, staff was beyond friendly and welcoming
Kurt Davis: Absolutely wonderful game store. Owner is an incredibly friendly guy who will answer any and every question you may have. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants games.
Noah King: My go-to game store. The people here are incredibly friendly and inclusive, and very eager to please! I'd recommend this for anyones board game/ tabletop needs. An awesome selection and they're always getting cool things in. 10/10
rainyday 2316: Super friendly will go back again

The Game Preserve: what do users think?
Brad Urban: Smart and pleasant staff
James Dean: Anytime I'm in Indy, I make a point to drop by Game Preserve. They've always got games and supplies that I need in stock, and a place to play with my friends. The staff are always friendly and happy to recommend a game if you're not sure what you're looking for. Whether you've got a few minutes or a couple hours, it's worth stopping by!
Abbie Carlsen: Love the variety of games here!
Katie Wright: Excellent selection and staff!
Alessandro: These guys offer great suggestions to improve your boardgame collection! Love coming in here!
chance french: Excellent selection! Cool rewards point program
Nicholas P.: Prices are comparable or more expensive than other stores in the area. Selection was great, but nothing I can't find elsewhere. The owners/employees were all sitting around talking about things that I wasn't really okay with discussing in front of my kids. The music being played was also not family friendly. Was barely greeted when we arrived. They seemed annoyed that we even came in. Definitely won't be coming back. There are far better options with more friendly staff and better prices elsewhere.
Levi George: Great place if looking for any type of game. And the two people behind the counter were very helpful.
caleb isenhower: All-time favorite board game store!!! Staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the games. If you are looking for something specific, and they don't have it they will try everything within their power to help you find/order it.
Evan Karn: Great! Staff is always friendly.
Marlenne Aguilar: Super cool place! Definitely you'll find a new board game to try during the weekend. Ask staff for recommendations, they are so nice!
Kevin McLane: Great local game store. Good selection, got a loyalty program, and knowledgeable staff.
CJ Gulbronson: Kind, welcoming, and courteous. Everything you want in a game shop. Make sure to sign up for thier rewards program. You get a percentage off every purchase back as store credit. Simply amazing!
RL A: Friendly, knowledgeable staff, with lots of games.
Victor DeBolle: Went in looking for an RPG Rulebook for a game I played at Gencon, got told that they didn't have it which is understandable then the employee goes in a tangent about how RPG players don't spend enough money for how much space they take up and talking rather condescending towards customers. Stopped shopping here a decade ago for similar rudeness and I guess it hasn't improved since
Debbie Paugh: They have All the games. Staff is very helpful and kind.
Bia S: If you like board games this place is just heaven. They were really friendly and chill there, and they have an amazing selection.
Andrew August: Well organized storefront, Warhammer AoS was well stocked and evenly distributed.Updated from previous experience as I've since encountered generally poor interpersonal attitudes from staff on multiple occasions. Not all, mind you, so your results may vary. All the money goes to the same parent company, which is fine, but I'd recommend the south-side store if you want to save time on rude interactions.Still your LGS and better than Amazon, but could use improvements.
Matt Rabold: Cool store. An amazing number of games.
Ian Holder: Great local hobby shop, their 10% off rewards system is fantastic!
David Bauer: Great gaming store. Space in the back for gaming. You can order stuff not in stock and preorder stuff that is not for sale yet. They sometimes work with Kickstarters as well and you can get a Kickstarter deal without fronting the money or paying shipping. Support your Friendly Local Gaming Store!

Hero's Emporium: what do users think?
Vic M: Great place. Will return
Andrew Brown: Carmel has needed something like this and it’s finally here. The staff is some of the most engaged and helpful you could ever find at a store let alone a game store.Inside they have some great deals on Magic, 40k, Age of Sigmar, and more. I’ve never seen a game store do something like that. One last story before I go, I made a commander deck for my partner for the holidays. I needed some lands to top it off and they gave them to me free of charge with my purchase. Truly a stand up store and I can’t wait to shop there more
Gataer: My favorite place to buy gaming and hobby supplies
James Aulby: Great selection with a really friendly staff. Only been once, but will go back when in the area again.
Bob Eggert: I've been to Hero's Emporium several times over the past few months... always had a pleasant experience.
Zachary Riley: Decent selection, the 1 employee would hardly give me the time of day, wouldnt say a word except what my total was. May ha e been an off day and im willing to give them another shot but attitude needs adjusting.
Kevin Jessup: Staff is very friendly and excellent at answering questions.
Chris Lama: Clean store. Not as much TCG as I would like.
Kyle Holden: Great place. Owner is really nice!
Brandon “souperman” Campbell: If you are looking for any type of table game or table game supplied, this is the place for you! Also, cards, figurines, posters, etc!
Chris Pacifico: Great place for all manner of games. The owner is always helpful and friendly.
Nathaniel Fischer: Hero's Emporium is an awesome store and definitely worth a visit! The owner operator is extremely nice, friendly, passionate, and knowledgeable about the many games and accessories available.
Waylon Gross: Not bad search for the deals
Alex Hannon: Shop owner is really friendly, sat and talked painting techniques with me. The store stocks a good selection hobby stuff and board games. Would recommend.
Mindy Bell: Super nice place with really helpful staff. A great stop to pick up some board games!!
Seth Damas: Great store. Nice selection of Warhammer and Star Wars miniatures.
David Cady: What a great little hobby shop. Already been there twice.
John Mea: Kinda hidden but a nice store. Very helpful
Nate Jones: Cool store great location
Evan Mickel: These guys are so nice! They are incredibly knowledgeable, and genially seem more interested in teaching you how to play / giving you tips at any game imaginable, rather than in selling you more things you might not necessarily need. super chill atmosphere, definitely worth a visit :)
Daniel Weesner: Super friendly people. Came in for something specific and left with 15 great recommendations. Extremely personable.

Game Time: what do users think?
Vintage Indy: I’ve always had an off vibe from this place. All prices are looked up to be near comped pricing which is annoying to not have things priced. I’ve often felt unwelcome there because I don’t fit the typical style of who shops here. They have the other room which is nice but there are better options on the north side when it comes to cards. No sports cards either.
Brad Urban: Favorite shop in Indianapolis.
John Doe: Workers sometimes rude and inattentive but otherwise good selection of cards
Will Senefeld: Called and asked if they had Scarlet & Violet prerelease boxes and was told they'd have them available for purchase all day. Drove there and was then told they only had 30 for sale and you had to buy them before their event. If you have an extremely limited quantity and restrictions on when you can buy, let your customers know so we aren't wasting our time and gas. Will not be returning.
Keith Doran: Jeremy is alright I guess
Brady Gilbert: If you value your time. Highly recommend going elsewhere. Paid over $400 on cards- over priced. Came back a couple days later. Just to see what they would say, brought in $1500 of my own cards as well, they offered $50. Another note, if you want deals/cheaper items go to Moonshot in Noblesville. They overcharge on everything. Build and battle display they want over $250 even though TCG has them at $148, which is who they came to go through. Their employees also know nothing about card conditions, if a card has a bend they think it's LP. Lol, this company has become a joke among many peers.
fracZ BioHazardZ: Great customer service and nice people but $16 for a whole entire box worth i gave them isn't worth $16. I had alot of bulk cards that were worth more than that all together even cards that were holos from old packs were included towards them just be given $16. I could've sold some of those cards for more
Justin Clement: Sometimes it is excellent customer service but the last time I was there I had to wait 39 minutes just to buy a booster pack
Nicholas P.: Magic players rejoice! I have never seen such a diverse collection of booster boxes in one place before. Perfect for chaos drafts or if you're looking for a particular older set. Plenty of singles to browse through as well. Aside from that, the store is very clean and well organized. Plenty of other TCGs, tabletop RPGs, and board games. The only thing I could ask for is a larger board game selection, but their focus is obviously geared toward the TCGs. Would definitely love to come in for a tournament one night. The staff was also friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
Michael Vack: Some counter people are good but most are terrible. Put in a list with them for them to tell me they didn't have half the cards on list which I understand happens. But issue came when while waiting in line found over half the cards they said they didn't have in the cases which to me felt like they never actually looked. They sell foreign products at American prices but will buy cards from at foreign prices.
Zachary Wade: Thanks so much for the customer service. I usually get profiled really hard walking into these shops but I was welcomed with open arms. Genuinely thank you.
Mason Hiatt: Super nice guys! Big selection of magic cards as well
Davo Olson: Awesome! Lots of Pokémon products! One of my new favorite places! I will definitely be returning!
Victor DeBolle: Smaller selection than most stores but staff is friendly
Aaron Kirk: I wouldnt even give this place one star, he k not wven a half a star. They absolutely low ball every buylist they come by, including mine. Which includeo a new double masters dockside extortionist birderless, force of negation borderless, wrnn and six, and countless others. They offered me 230$ for all of em.Makes it even worse when i accidentally left all of my most valuable cards there on accident, which a bunch are missing from. I mean they had my phone #,why not call me to let me know i jad left them. Very sus place, dont go there if ur selling
Brett Davis: Walked into the store for the first time and will never come back again. Wanting to play commander using their tables. No events going on at the time. Have never gone to an lgs and been told you can't use their tables to play casual.
Sophia Groeschen: I originally had given this place a 5 star, but recently my experiences here have been rather so so. Their selection in terms of Pokémon cards (singles) has been minimal and I will more than likely stop selling cards in here overall. I recently brought in numerous expensive cards that I had priced via tcg and was looking to see what I could get for them, all NM, one was a $60+ card, they offered me $20, one was $207+, they offered me $160 which I wasn’t too upset about, one however was $260+, they offered me $150!! $150. For near mint. There was others as well, but long story short definitely didn’t sell them lol. I do NOT recommend bringing higher end cards here if you’re looking to sell, I’d sell my bulk here and stick to selling my independently. I used to love this store and they’ve always been great, but as of my past few visits, I’m not too happy with my experiences. Not sure what changed honestly.
Glide: I didn’t feel welcomed to be there, seemed annoyed that I was selling cards, took my cards in the BACK of the store to check them, and was left to dry while they went back to opening card packs with their friends.. not to mention a lot of their prices on sealed product are marked up like crazy.
Nicholas Wise: This is one of my favorite game store for Magic: The Gathering and the occasional army painter accessories for my miniature painting. All the employees are cool and never make you feel like they are judging you with a sense of superiority. And the prices are reasonable. Plus the rewards program can't be beat.
Robin Sypult: Went in with my son, since he has mastered basic board games like monopoly and life and all. I asked the staff member for a recommendation and he took alot of time telling us about various games until we found one WE LOVE!!!! And they have a great selection of Pokemon cards, which my son LOVED! I'll be going back for sure!
N3gus Wulf: This place was horrible!!! Visited with a friend and owner was extremely aggressive and pushy for me specifically to leave the store as everything I touched “was not for sale” they followed me around the store and refused to even let me look at the items in the store. Bottom line this business discriminates on color I will never shop here

Sinclair Games: what do users think?
Cory Lewellen: I love this place. A fantastic selection of minis and paints. The owner is a nice guy and good conversation. I happily spend money here.
Kurt Willer: Looks to support TTRPG,miniatures and has terrain tables all set up. Basic selection of DnD 5e products and dice. Ample parking.
Riaaki: This is the place to go for minis! He has a huge selection or he can print them off. The dice he offers are limited but neat as well.
J. Miles Canino: Outstanding selection of minis for some games I just can’t find elsewhere.
Alan Cockrell: One of the best game stores in the Midwest
Eli Kerber: Very nice staff, and a HUGE selection of minis. A great place to find just the mini or paint you are looking for.
Jackie Beltz: Owner is super helpful and kind, store is well stocked with a great layout, also great sense of humor 8/5 would recommend!!!
Nicholas Wise: If you like Reaper miniatures & paints than this is the store for you. They have reaper paints I didn't even know existed that I was quite happy to purchase. They also carry Vallejo paints & supplements. I chatted with the gentleman behind the counter once and we both agreed that Army Painter paints were terrible; albeit for different reasons. He also told me that they didn't carry Games Workshop paints and miniatures, and while I may not remember why they didn't, I do recall agreeing with his reasoning. I will continue to give them my business because the prices aren't much higher than buying from Reaper directly with the added bonus of not having to wait on delivery. And sure I may have gotten some weird looks and been watched like a hawk on my first couple of visits; but to be fair I've got long hair, tattoos, and in the winter I wear a long coat reaching past my knees; so suffice it to say I get weird looks and watched like a hawk wherever I go. But don't let that put you off, if you enjoy the miniature painting hobby I have yet to find a place as good as Sinclair Games.
Ryan DeBenedittis: The only person in the store. Wasnt greeted or spoken to by staff. Great selection. Just dont expect help.
Jason Crandall: Literally the best, my without a doubt favorite and top notch store to buy from online. Wish I lived anywhere near the store because I would be there all the time. As an online vendor they are fantastic. Always ship items out right away. Never had an issue. Highly highly recommend!!!!
Nick Etter: Great tabletop gaming store! Large, full racks with a variety of paint brands, huge selection of minis (even organized by class), tables for play, and friendly and knowledgable owner!
Joseph Hitchcock: Great atmosphere and wonderful selection of flames of war and team Yankee models
Cao Cao: Best place in indy for models and games i love this place. Clean bright and the owner really knows his stuff. Small and quaint with great prices my go to place for minnatures.
Cameron Glascock: A terrific game shop full of hobby supplies and miniatures with a modest selection of board games as well. The owner was incredibly nice and clearly knew his product very well.
Kit Wessendorf: Well stocked store. Amazing selection of Flames of War and Team Yankee!
James Scheminant: Nice place, just wanted more. Thought there would be more games.
Robert Elmer: They're my go to source for Flames of War and Team Yankee products. They've also contacted me when I missed out on a deal so I could benefit from said deal. Reliable, good pricing, and excellent customer service.
MiniWheats: tried to talk to the guy at the store and he didn’t say a word very awkward and rude I felt like I had to hold my breath to keep the silence
C Jarver71: 1st visit. Super unfriendly. Never greeted. Never asked to help. When we arrived we were stared at like we didn't belong. Then any time a package rattled stared at again, making my autistic son very uncomfortable. The only thing ever said by the guy behind the counter was "sign the receipt". Last visit.
Chris Vickers: Super chill atmosphere, plenty of space to play games, and great stock of games all at below market price! Love everything about this place!
