Sycamore Reserve Senior Living: what do users think?
Sean Yule: Sycamore Reserve is a wonderful community. The leadership team is incredibly involved and caring and the staff strives to make it feel like home. It is a vibrant community with fantastic amenities!
Charlene Lakin: I have lived here only since October 2022. Long enough to know what Alan tells you on the video is true.Very friendly residents, food is good, a real variety of apartments and friendly helpful staff.Having free transportation to appointments is a blessing. If you have a vehicle there is plenty of parking space.Laundry facilities are also included in your rent or you can have your own.Come visit us and you just might be my neighbor.
Greg Coley: Sycamore Reserve is excellent all of the way around. It is owned and operated by a family and they treat their residents and guests like family. I doubt you can find somewhere with a more personal feel. There is a community feel to relationships here. Residents sit in the common areas to play games, talk, and even have a sing-along. It is remarkable compared to other places that I am familiar with. Rooms are comfortable. All areas are clean. The dining room food is delicious and has good variety. I highly recommend it for your senior family member.
Cathy Sitterding: 04/06/21 - This facility is home and yet you feel as if you are on vacation 52 weeks a year. The Owner is directly involved and is very concerned with our intellectual, emotional/spiritual and physical health. This is reflected through activities that stimulate our minds; a sacred space for meditating and personal quiet time; yoga and exercise programs; and, last but not least, exceptional and nutritious food selections. The entire staff is friendly and caring and will always go over and above to create a comfortable family atmosphere. I have never been happier. (Oh, the pool isn’t too shabby either.) I don’t know what else to say except: If you are active, like to have fun and are young at heart, look no further for retirement living. Sycamore should be your next home!
Randy Rhea: My mom has lived at Sycamore for over a year. She and my family have been very pleased with the accommodations and the staff has been wonderful. My mother is so proud living at Sycamore. She invites us over for meals whenever possible. I feel like the Sycamore staff has become family to her.
Nope Goss: Don't have an experience to share but a question to ask. Does this beautiful place accept people of color?
Kyle Williams: Visited my grandpa and was pleasantly surprised bout the high level of care and love the owners and staff have show with rides and with 3 meals that you can go into the little restaurant that's provide for tents and family it was deliciousness. And the waiter was amazing.. shout out to grandpa Mr Tim or I call him O.C.G. old cane guy love ya
Jim Morgan: Sycamore Reserve is a beautiful community with great amenities and conveniently located. It is a wonderful option for those looking for this pampered lifestyle as well as a very nice option for those who want to take advantage of this hot housing market to sell their long-time home. It can give them time on a month to month short-term lease while they look for a downsized home or waiting for one to be built as well. We at Life's Copilot, a Senior resource service, are proud to have Sycamore Reserve as one of our members.
Josie: I had lunch at Sycamore this past Monday and was so impressed with the food I was served,. The beautiful lobby and dining area was filled with residents laughing and sharing friendship and fellowship. I sat down with strangers and was welcomed . What an engaging group of seniors enjoying living life to its fullest.
Debbie Footman Williams: The menu is very savvy, guest feedback is wonderful.
Helen Coley: I found Sycamore Reserve on the Internet. Moved in sight unseen and it’s been a great find. Love everything about it. Good food, great staff, lots of activities. Couldn’t ask for more!
paula rison: Sycamore Reserve is a beautiful facility! The staff are so friendly and very welcoming.
Christina Bruno: Absolutely beautiful senior living center! The people are so nice and welcoming, and the facility is gorgeous! The director of activities was extremely helpful and energetic - a great place to live!
Heather jones: Shawn Gann and the team here are amazing ! Such a warm and welcoming environment.
Denny Smith: Sycamore Reserve is an incredible facility for quality senior living. They make it possible to be engaged, healthy, happy, and energized and the staff seems to be 100% focused on providing a quality standard of living for those lucky enough to live there. Food is available, on order, from 7 in the morning to 7 at night, and that food is just wonderful. Floor plans from a small studio to a large 2-bedroom and living room. Truly there is something for everybody at Sycamore Reserve Senior Living! I can't remember being greeted and welcomed so graciously as when I visited them.
Thomas Gismondi: Lovely staff, welcoming environment and lots of fun to have at sycamore reserve! Made us feel at home even as a guest. Great facility and greater people!
Brooke Boudreaux: I love this facility! The staff are truly like family they make it such a welcoming environment. Great food and always fun activities. The residence are thriving here and when you walk in the atmosphere has such a positive vibe!
Gary Chandler: Sycamore ReserveMy name is Gary Chandler. I became a resident of Sycamore Reserve since February 1, 2021. I wanted to express my thoughts and feelings I have experienced since I became a resident at this beautiful community. To begin, I should share my life experience in the three months prior to my making Sycamore Reserve my home. My dear wife, Cindy and I had been married 40 years. We both had been experiencing serious health problems and had been in the hospital together for about two weeks. My wife's health took a turn for the worse and she died on November 3, 2020. My health took a turn for the better even though I was diagnosed with cancer and early stages of dementia. I was released from the hospital and returned home. Due to depression from my wife's death and a poor diet, I thought seriously about selling my home. My dear friend, Richard Mack, who has always had my best interest at heart, encouraged me, with nothing to gain for selling my home and moving to Sycamore Reserve. On February 1, 2021, I moved into Sycamore Reserve. I found, in a very short time that this was far more than a place to live but, a home. The staff has been truly genuine in the kindness and care they have shown to me as well as the other residents interest in my happiness. I have never found change to come easy in my life, but, this move that I made to Sycamore Reserve has been a positive one. I have had my spirit lifted and I once again found joy and happiness returning to my life.Let me give you some of the positives of this change. Sycamore Reserve is a brand new community which opened in January of 2020. Due to Covid -19 the community remained lockdown for much of 2020.Upon my arrival in February 2021, I came to a new apartment of 875 sq. ft. with a very large bedroom, living room, kitchen, den, a beautiful bath with a marble floor and a huge walk-in closet. There are only 25 residents at this time, many having experienced independent living in other communities . Everyone here says, Sycamore Reserve Senior Living is the very best! The staff makes sure that ever residents are expertly taken care and they experience their every need and desire. We have on staffed chefs who provide a wonderful menu selection. For example the lobster bisque soup is as good as any 5 star restaurant, I have ever experienced. The entire selection never has disappointed me.I can plan my day with a choice of many games, exercise, field trips, even planned excursions to international destinations or we may prefer the peace and quiet of being in your suite with a good book or by the heated salt water pool. If, you desire or in need of Independent Living, I recommend you visit Sycamore Reserve. I cannot speak highly enough of the amenities offered. When you visit, I would be happy to talk to you and give you the opportunity to see my apartment.Gary Chandler
Chad Collyer: Michelle was kind enough to give me a tour today of Sycamore Reserve. All of the rooms she showed me were amazing. It is a beautiful community for the residents to enjoy. I perform a magic and mind reading for senior communities nationwide, and I can already tell this is going to be one of my very favorites.
Lisa Vander Meer: I provide rehab services at Sycamore Reserve and can attest to commitment to the residents here. When you pull up to this little gem in Castleton, its in a lovely park-like setting and once you walk through the front doors-WOW! Professionally decorated and while the finishes are high end, it also feels very warm and inviting. The staff are very active with the residents and there are constantly stimulating and age-appropriate activities at all hours of the day. You would want your parents to be in this place! The residents that I have interacted with speak very highly of the staff, food, other residents and generally have great pride in where they live.
Craig Howard: My Client moved into Sycamore Reserve a couple weeks ago.. Im so happy we found this hidden gem.The staff is very attentive and display genuine compassion for each member of this newly found family community setting, Its just a priceless experience every time I visit... I had the honor to dine in there beautiful dinning room. I’m a Professional Chef so I was extremely excited to taste and critique the cuisine served this particular evening . I must say I was amazed at the service given to the residents and how the severs called the residents by name and explained the specials and was able to make recommendationsThe menu has a great variety to choose from although the icing on the cake was every bite of my meal was delicious .. I ate very slowly because it was just that Yummerish a wordI use as a Chef meaningI score my meal 10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I look forward to being invited for Lunch or Dinner again. I highly recommend Sycamore Reserve Senior Living you will love it as much as I do... My Client has settled in with anticipation everyday to mingle and enjoy activities and socials on the premises.. I’m so thankful for this amazing concept.. Treat yourself and stop in!!!!!

Five Star Residences of Banta Pointe: what do users think?
Brandy Buchanan Moore: The staff is very unprofessional including management.
M A: no one returns calls. You get told 1 thing by management then they move on to other companies and no one wants to stand behind their word. I got a bill I was told I didn't owe, called and was told it would be taken care of that I didn't owe it, almost a year later I get a delinquent notice, call again and because GM left and Sales Manager left they say it can't be removed without new GM approval and the Business manager will call me back - It has been 2 weeks no return call but got another delinquent notice. It isn't the amount that is the issue it is principle of it - I was told I didn't owe and now all of a sudden I owe it. STAY AWAY a lot more issues than just this with the people that manage there!!!!!!!!!
Lynne Anderson: Good management team .New roof.Maintance working on pipes alot.
Sean Schembra: My grandma is so happy and well taken care of at 5 star. The staff is very friendly. Through COVID the executive director, Haylee, has kept us up to date and well informed through all her communication. The facility is very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this community for anyone looking for their loved ones or themselves.
Brian Moore: I have the pleasure with working with Five Star Residencies Banta Pointe which is one of my clients. I have always been impressed with how friendly, professional, and caring all the staff is at Banta Pointe. They do a lot of neat and fun activities to keep residents engaged. Community is super clean and it is located in a convenient location on the Indy south side!
Julie Crowe: Our family chose Five Star for many reasons and the first was the outstanding help that Peggy provided us as we started our journey. Our parents needed help and Peggy guided us on all the decisions that needed to be made. She was so kind and genuinely cared for our entire family. We were able to call or text her anytime and she quickly responded. Peggy went above and beyond last March when we weren’t allowed inside but wanted to help our parents celebrate their 69th anniversary. She took pictures and set up our delivery of treats and decorations. Peggy is definitely a star at Five Star!
Phil Glesing: Peggy Bryson has been an angel to our family. She assisted us in helping move my 92-yr-old mother into Five Star's "assisted-living" facility in May 2020 (during the pandemic), and was incredibly helpful until Mom passed away 4 months later. Peggy then paved the way for a 2BR "independent-living" cottage to come available for our 91-yr-old father last October. She checks in on him frequently & assists with our requests for minor maintenance issues in his cottage. She's been a caring & kind-hearted support to us all, and we're deeply grateful to her.
Ariel Allen: I can easily see the love and dedication of every employee here. They work hard to care for the physical and emotional needs of every person living here. Their covid precautions are top notch and I would absolutely feel comfortable putting my loved one in their care.
Judy Swanson: There aren't enough good adjectives to properly review Banta Pointe. My husband is a resident there and receives awesome care from everyone there. The executive director is totally involved in everyday care for residents, which is unusual. The staff is absolutely amazing and I could not be happier with the care that my husband gets. We visited and reviewed 5 other assisted living facilities in our area and Banta Pointe was number 6. After a tour and a delicious lunch, my husband said to me, "I could be happy living here." End of search. After several stumbling blocks, he moved in 3 months ago. I would recommend Banta Pointe to anyone looking for a caring and loving home away from home for loved ones. Banta Pointe staff look upon residents as more than residents....they consider them family. The facility is very attractive and the grounds are attractive. There are lots of activities if you choose to participate. The dining room is lovely and the food so good.
Kathy Hendrickson: My mom is a current resident at five star residences. She has lived there almost two years. Be prepared to pay 3%-5% increase every year per the executive director. She has had two increases in almost 2 years. I have NEVER had a price increase as much as Five Star residence.
Denise Burnett: My dad has lived both in independent and assisted living at Banta Pointe for four years now. Food is delicious, lots of activities and most important a very caring staff from the front office to CNA, nurses, dietary and housekeeping staff. Cost of living there is very affordable compared to other places. We are a very satisfied family knowing our dad is very cared for living there.
Steve Mougeotte: I have worked with the management staff for well over a year and they are nothing but professional, focused on creating a great living environment for their residents. If you are looking for a place take that next step in living, I would encourage you to make the Residences at Banta Pointe a "must see" when considering your choices. I am sure you will agree.
Amanda Chriswell: Being in home health, we get to experience walking in to a lot of facilities and I can with confidence, Forest Creek Commons is at the TOP! They offer great amenities for residents, management from the top down are always involved and there to greet you upon arrival, and they keep the place clean! I love the smaller "homey" feel this facility offers.
Jose Flores: They have a very caring staff, all the way from the administrator, admissions, director of nursing, to the CNA's. The residents always seem very happy and taken care of. The facility is clean and the grounds well maintained.
Corey Chriswell: Great amenities with an amazing staff! If you or a family member are searching for an Independent/Assisted Living home I highly recommend touring Five Star Residences of Banta Pointe!
Adam Cain: I have been in to this community multiple times and it is always beautifully kept, friendly, and a great place to stay for active older adults. The Exec Dir Ethan is one of the most caring people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Would recommend them to anyone.
Cory hull: As the 'ole saying goes... "there's no place like home"... truly that is the feeling you get when you walk inside Forest Creek Commons :) I am very impressed with the service that the staff provides for all of its residents 7 days a week/24 hours a day...stop by and see Peggy for yourself!!!
David Mann: Staff are always warm and welcoming. Caring atmosphere with plenty of great social events for residents.
Sue Sellmer: We found Forest Creek Commons very warm and welcoming and accommodating to the needs of our Mother during her hospice stay with them in February. We plan to have her visit the home again later in the year.
Lisa Dillman: In visiting a client this afternoon helping them with VA Benefits, I had the chance to see the Garden Homes, as well as the main building at Forest Creek Commons. My clients live in a garden home and they could not say enough about how happy and comfortable they are at Forest Creek Commons. In touring the main building, I got to glimpse at the dinner menu featuring luxury items such as shrimp bisque. I really love the idea that the menu is available all day long at any time. So if someone wants scrambled eggs at 2:00 PM they can order them, just like home. As I made my way around the building, I was lucky enough to crash happy hour in their designated Activities Room. It was packed and the residents were having a ball. Five Star's Lifestyle 360 activities program is really interesting. The activities are based on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. So the activities aren't your run of the mill old boring ones, they are exciting and deliberately chosen ones. There is something going on at Forest Creek Commons, it feels like home and there is an energy that makes you feel comfortable. This community feels special.

Kesslerwood Place: what do users think?
Kayla Loschky: I toured this facility when searching for a place for my grandmother. I am an RN so I can be a little bit more critical of facilities because I am looking at it as a medical professional as well. The staff were very kind, especially Ryan, the Community Relations Manager . I also met the DON, Regional Manager, and Activity Director, all were very kind. Upon driving up to the facility I noticed the wooden gate is missing several pieces, siding on the building dangling off, screens over the windows slit/torn, and poor landscaping. Once we arrived inside, I noticed how dirty the building was. Walls have dents, scuff marks, old nail holes from previous wall hangings, etc. The floors were dirty and needed a deep cleaning. The main dining/eating area was crammed full with too many tables and chairs for someone with a walker to be able to walk through easily. There isn't a dedicated private and secure patio for the residents to be in alone or just with other residents. They can go on the small front porch with a few rocking chairs. There are three levels and a beautiful split staircase in the main lobby of the facility - which screams safety risk to me. We toured all three levels and each level had a strong smell (couldn't identify it but it wasn't a clean smell, it was bothersome). Memory care is on the third level and had the strongest unpleasant smell out of all of the floors. My grandma needs a memory care unit but this one is for more advanced Dementia/Alzheimers patients. The nurses and aids we met were nice and professional but the facility itself needs a deep cleaning and some outdoor property management upkeep. It is a shame these residents are paying such a high price and in such a dirty facility. The dinner the night we tours was corn dogs, cucumber/onion salad, and brownie. They cook in the basement and bring it up to the main level in a hot box. I would think they would want to feed the residents more nutritious food than that. Again, the staff were kind but the actual property is alarmingly dirty, the outside of the building needs more upkeep, and the giant stair case is a huge safety concern. We have since found a different facility and the two tours don't even compare. Please pay attention to all of you senses when touring facilities and trying to pick one for a loved one.
Jane Burkhart: The food is terrible. I am tired of greens. We are told to sit in the same seat everyday so they can remember who you are. There are only two meal offerings everyday. They launder your clothes in steaming hot water so that they shrink.Weekend nights they are short of help and have to hire outside. One night a lady was forgotten and wasn’t put to bed at all.
Dennis Brake: My mother lived at Kesslerwood Place for about 6 years. Moving there was one of the best moves our family had ever taken. The food was great, it was reasonably priced and the staff was spectacular. They viewed their time at KWP as a vocation, not a job. Dennisbrake
Nola Heyns: I would recommend this facility. The staff has closely worked with me to set up the care needed. My family member is happy and feels taken care of. She is proud to call this home.
A Sandberg: From Edith at the front desk, to all the wonderful nurses, activities director, nursing director, assistants, maintenance, housekeeping, cooks, servers, etc… have all been fabulous. Joe has resided there for almost 7 years and they care for him as if he were their own beloved grandfather. The staff here has exceeded my original expectations 10 fold. They keep me in the loop regarding Joe’s health, behaviors, needs, etc…. I’ve already informed my children if I ever need assisted living - this is where I want to go.
Kate Pachciarz: Kesslerwood Place is a wonderful place for anyone who is needing assistance with their ADL’s. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with infectious smiles and warmth. If you are looking for a home away from home this is the first place to visit. The staff is a perfect blend of tenure, compassion, tenderness and commitment resulting in joyful and intimate experiences. The activities and group outings make it effortless to develop lifelong friendships and companionship. It doesn’t matter if you’re a resident, a family member, or a community partner everyone is guaranteed a warm and inviting experience when visiting Kesslerwood Place.
chris williamS: Great place and excellent care!
Tiffany Kraese: Kesslerwood Place has a dedicated team that goes above and beyond for their residents. They are committed to providing great care!
Ann Alley: The stuff here has been heroic caring for my mother.
Kimberly McDonald: Warm and cozy environment! Great team and energy at this community. Every time I visit there is always a fun activity and residents look happy.
Carmalita Smith: Great place to work everyone is friendly and willing to help.
Mark Stephens: Excellent care
Amy Delk: CSM Michelle is a great asset to the staff at Kesslerwood! She treats all the staff and patients as if they are family and that brings a peace of mind like no other. Thank you!
Shelley Rebenack: I am very lucky to be part of the Kesslerwood Place community. I enjoy the residents, the Kesslerwood staff and the family feel of the community. Edith is great at keeping us all organized. Heather and Lorna are always looking for ways to enrich the lives of our residents. They enjoy interacting with the residents and putting smiles on their faces. Jalene works hard to make sure the AL residents live their best life. Rob and Nicole and their crew provide us with some great food! Crystal and Erica keep The Memory Care Residents active. The Kesslerwood Nursing Staff are a great group of people and I appreciate all they do. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your Kesslerwood Family.
Eliza Stoughton: My family had the good fortune of finding Kesslerwood Place for our loved one - she needed a high level of care that KW was able to provide and just knowing that she was safe, attended to and cared for even when we couldn't be with her was incredibly comforting. The nurse teams are lovely - so kind and caring - and they took great care of her right up until the end. KW also makes sure that no one will ever die alone, so when we were unable to hold vigil there was always someone in the room. Thanks to Heather and Pheobe for going above and beyond the call of duty.
Sharon Williams: Great place. Very clean and very involved with the people that live there. The staff is very friendly and are happy to help or answer questions when asked. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe and friendly place for their family member.
Domo_wan_kenobi 1: I've been working for kesslerwood for 3 year now in the dietary and I really enjoy working here the management is great. Lorna the ED, door is always open as well as her having an open ear to question and concerns. The staff is awesome an the residents are friendly and patient. If your looking for an great facility then you have come to the right place
Nicole Farmer: I've worked for Kessler woods for about 3 years now and it's been a learning experience for me I've had the privilege of cooking for some great people 😊 . Sometimes we have rough days but we work together and get the job done my coworkers are just like my family because we spend so much time together but overall I like working here and don't plan on going anywhere for a long time
Hayley Murray: My experience with Kesslerwood Place has been outstanding. The staff cares deeply for their residents and go the extra mile to make each day special.
Sara Landrigan: My team has worked with Kesslerwood Place for years and would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for top quality care. Their team goes above and beyond to provide excellent care and make everyone feel like family and at home. Great facility and staff!
Deborah Gardner: I work with the residents of Kesslerwood Place as part of Cycling Without Age of Greater Indianapolis. I have interacted with both the residents and the staff. The staff have always been very helpful and supportive of our service and the residents seem happy and well cared for. I work most closely with Jalene Huff because she is the Activities Director. She is always helpful and supportive to us and caring toward the residents.

Marquette: what do users think?
Molly White: Marquette is an amazing organization. My mother-in-law has gone from Independent living to assisted living and now memory care. At each stage, there has been incredible loving support. The warmth of the staff and welcoming hugs have been a blessing at each level. Particular Kudos to Shannon Hoffman and Lisa Van Tassel, who greatly helped with her transitions into Assisted Living and then Memory Care.
Tiffany Vaden: I have been a part of the Marquette Manor Team and I absolutely love it. Great facility, nice and clean and the grounds is kept up very nice, love the Waterfall.
Tiffany Lee: Marquette is a great place to work I enjoy working in healthcare.
Sheila Mackmya: I enjoy the atmosphere here at Marquette. There’s always something going on. There’s an event for every season, every holiday, and just about every birthday. Marquette is the place to be. YOU SHOULD BE HERE TOO!!!
John Wietholter: Our family is ever grateful for the incredible care and rehabilitation from Marquette’s Health Center. From admission to our last day in rehab, the team shared their care, compassion, expertise and love for my Mom and our family day and night. Our experience was especially important because my Mom came from living at home to suddenly being diagnosed with cancer complicated by a stroke. The Marquette team walked along side her motivation, inspiration and desire to return home. We treasure every member of the team, our talks in the beautiful gazebo and trips around the lake to enjoy the stunning grounds - all part of a healing recovery. And even more, our Marquette family continues to reach out and offer assistance to my father. We encourage your family to experience Marquette - it’s one of a kind people, care and medical expertise are life changing.
Michael Levitan: It is increasingly rare to find organizations that truly stand by their values. Lucky for my mom, Marquette Manor is a shining example of an organization that walks its talk. When mom moved to Indianapolis, we evaluated a number of prospective senior communities. What stood out about Marquette was its nonprofit status and commitment to resident welfare. As different from the national chains where any profit is siphoned off to the parent company, Marquette regularly reinvests available funds to improve the resident experience. The difference is palpable even to a new visitor. One unique element of the Marquette commitment is its Benevolent Fund, meant to support longer term residents who have moved into higher levels of care that eventually exceed their resources. As mom moved from Independent Living, to Assisted Living, to Skilled Nursing, she went from being able to fully cover her monthly costs to being in deficit. Per agreement with Marquette, we tapped mom’s savings to close the monthly gap until those savings were mostly depleted. We then applied for, and were kindly granted, benevolent assistance to help close the gap.Marquette showed up as promised. Mom will be able to stay in the caring, comforting environment that has become home. What for some may have been a marketing ploy, for Marquette was commitment. We are deeply grateful that mom is in a community that lives the values it professes.
Jennifer Dixon: I came to Marquette March 2007 as a CNA/QMA working 5a.m-1p.m. Today, I am the Director of Medical Records in the health center. My experience here has been challenging yet fulfilling. This has surely been a place to learn and grow. I think in all my years in this field, I have never been among so many long-term employees. That speaks volumes to me! The staff here is friendly and the residents are so appreciative. I couldn't imagine a better place to be!
Kimberly Wilson: The Marquette community is truly a uniquely special place to live and work! It is a beautiful campus filled with hardworking employees who are committed to providing their best everyday to the benefit of its many residents. I am blessed to be here and have learned many valuable lessons!
Heather Hickok: Tiffany Camden is a strong patient advocate for her patients. I appreciate working with Tiffany to accommodate the needs of our patients and families. Tiffany is very reliable and quick in responding to me whenever I have a question.
Laine Weatherman: Marquette is one of the best communities I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of! The beautiful campus, lovely residents, and great staff all show us how Marquette has earned its reputation!
Tamara: I LOVE THIS PROPERTY
Suzan Holmes: I can’t say enough about the care our family has received at Marquette. The positive and helpful atmosphere has been comforting and beyond our expectations. All the Marquette staff have treated us with such respect and kindness. Their response to our needs has been amazing.
Moe Harris: My grandparents have both had stays at this facility. It was good to see a mix of tenured and new staff. I pray we don’t need the service again but if we do this is the only place I would want them to be!Thanks for taking care of the Malone family.
Lisa VanTassel: Marquette is a great place to work! It’s very rewarding to see new residents smiling and socializing in the courtyard with new friends, when only a week before they were lonely and living alone. As I am writing this review, I can hear the competitive cheering of the Wii Bowling tournament in assisted living (very serious business!). I love knowing that our seniors are truly thriving at Marquette!
Diana Collins: I am very honored to work in an atomoshere filled with highly qualified staff members. I am even more blessed to have the privilege to assist with the care for our amazing LTC residents as well.
Samantha Wilson: I have worked at Marquette for almost a year now and I have enjoyed my time here thus far! Marquette is a beautiful facility with great employees. I have seen first hand that the employees here go above and beyond to ensure residents have quality living arrangements. I am proud to be a Marquette employee!!
Marion Harcourt: Marquette has everything I need. A nice apartment, good meals that Marquette is known for; bus service to my doctors, to the grocery, to the symphony, etc.. Programs in a large auditorium that includes documentaries, Hollywood movies, talks by good and knowledgable speakers, live music by enjoyable local musicians, etc. A library. A bank, a small shop for those necessities. We also have a athletic center run under contract with Indiana University National Institute of Fitness and Sports with planned group classes for all levels of ability. From reasonably healthy when we come in, to classes that help us us keep our O2 levels up and/ or keep functioning.Grounds are beautiful and well maintained by professionals.Marquette feels safe. Is safe. Security and nursing help are a call button away. Also important: the staff knows us by name: we are individuals.Residents tend to be people who have been accomplished in some area of life. Interesting people. We don't all vote the same, but we do not go there in our conversations..
cat bab: The checkered flag began waving in earnest for me when I moved into my cottage at Marquette three years ago. It has been waving daily ever since!! I can very sincerely say that Marquette has EVERYTHING. I find fulfillment spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally and psychologically to name just a few of the ways Marquette reaches out to me with activities galore each and every day.Let me express my satisfaction with Marquette in a little different way: If I were to write what I DON’T like about Marquette, I would turn in blank page. Moving to Marquette is one of the best decisions of my life.Thank you. Connie Babcock
Psyche Mollena: Been in Marquette for more than a decade,my first job in America(melting pot nation)embraced my culture and individuality with love and kindness.Inspired me to spread my wings and help me conquer my dreams.I was helped with my school finances and schedules to help me finish school. There is no such a perfect job,a perfect place or a perfect person, but Marquette did par excellence to bring the best of myself.Thank you for believing on me and giving chances to others.God bless Marquette! Thank you very much for everything.
Carole Dorsch: After 50 years living in Ohio and Pennsylvania, we decided to return home to Indianapolis. We viewed several retirement communities, but Marquette checked all the boxes for us. Our apartment is big enough for relaxation, hobbies, and entertaining. I have taken advantage of the Marquette Athletic Club (MAC). I have a personal exercise program provided by MAC personnel, who review the program at least once a year to monitor progress. My muscles have never been stronger! Marquette provides plenty of entertainment. Hopping on a Marquette bus to go to the Indianapolis Symphony Pops concerts or other activities couldn't be more convenient. Best of all are the people at Marquette, both residents and staff. They are like family. We have lived here 2 1/2 years, and I know we made the best decision when we chose Marquette.
Fran Cull: We moved into Marquette almost 3 years ago, knowing no one in Indianapolis except our daughter and her family. We count our blessings daily for having made such a wise choice. Life doesn't get any better! It's always been a warm, welcoming, friendly place with activities, programs, events, entertainment, and outings to meet many interests. There are so many opportunities available to enjoy every day. Wish we had done it years ago!

Crestwood Village North: what do users think?
Angela Miller: Crestwood Village North is located on a hill right on the Monon. Most applicants go on a waiting list to move in because it is very well-respected and sought after. They offer fitness instruction and fitness classes in addition to having Resident Services Consultants in each building to assist residents and plan life enrichment opportunities. The community has recently been updated with new windows, sliding doors and siding.
Duane Daringer: Stopped by today. When I walked in I was greeted by the smell of human waste (solid and liquid) and was treated extremely rudely by what appeared a tenant with dementia. A seriously sketchy facility IMHO. I would avoid like COVID.
Janis Troxell: I love my new home!!!!!
Sarah Crist: Crestwood Village North is a nice community that is close the the Monon and shopping centers. They have a wide variety of life enrichment activities, so the residents always have something fun to participate in. I love that they have a free wellness program offered to anyone that lives there.
Mallory Richards: Nice. Expensive. Don't pay employees enough
Gerald Farrell: The office manager was very helpful, while I have not taken a tour yet I did speak to some of the residents who gave glowing reports.
danny marcengill: Seems like a nice facility.
pam cox: Very clean apts.
Jacki Myers: My mom lives here - it is comfortable and affordable. Utilities are included in the rent. Nice lobby area for residents and generally something going on: games, exercise classes, etc.
debra boutwell: Great place for 55 and over
Tammy Jones: A Great Environment for Seniors.
Marty Simmons: Cozy and quiet
Jason Tate: Nice place
Geri Dattilo: They were very courteous and respectful. Helped me immediately and took care of my needs even though I did not have an appointment. I was in a lot of pain and discomfort and everyone was so kind. I need more work so I will go back.. Thanks to Dr.Jaynus, Rae, and Amanda.🙌
Mickey Cotton: Wonderful experience sounds fabulous

The Forum at the Crossing: what do users think?
steve e: The office staff at The Forum are just awesome, my father was going to live there they bent over backwards to get his lease and the room he wanted lined up. Then he took a bad fall and never came back to his former self, when we were finally sure that he couldn’t stay there the office staff took care of everything, one of the only good parts of this experience. My grandfather and first cousin were both there and I would highly recommend the Forum too anyone in need of an awesome assisted establishment.
Jennifer Brunkow: Mary helped us in the search for my mom. She was great, thorough, patient and went above and beyond assisting us even over the weekend on her day off. Great community showing including the vibe of the people living and working there being the best!
s Brewer: As we entered, The Forum was well manicured outside. I appreciate the covered entrance and convenient parking. We were greeted nicely. We came to dine with a friend. The dining room was quite nice and presented a comfy setting for our visit. The sweet waitress was accommodating and was eager to please. The food selection was quite broad. The lunch was very good and plentiful. We had a good visit in a peaceful atmosphere. When the time comes, I’d be interested in touring the entire facility. I certainly liked what I saw!
Dave Humphrey: We have been living here for 1 1/2 years. The dining and apartment's are for sure, 5 STAR. Come in and check it out.UPDATE:The food service went down hill about 2 years ago.It was so bad for us, that we moved. The residents in Independent Living were like family. The building and grounds were well maintained. We loved our apartment. The Forum had the best PT and OT facility in the state. But, unfortunately it was closed. What a shame.
Korey Gonzalez: I don't have personal business with The Forum, but I work nearby and chose to report family members visiting a resident through the exterior window, even removing the screen at times. The receptionist didn't even ask me which window so this safety issue could be addressed. The safety of the residents and workers is clearly not taken seriously here if that is important to you.
Elizabeth: Our mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s eight years ago. The care we have received at The Forum has been impeccable. Our mother had been in the memory care unit for over three years now, and the people who take care of her are angels on Earth. Christina, Becky, Myra, Jackie and all the other members of the unit really and truly go above and beyond to make a family atmosphere. My mother gets to be her chatty, laughing, social self with friends she has made. My sister and I will forever be grateful for the care they have provided.
B: Disappointed in the Forum. My father was in rehab there for nearly a month. If you're considering it for a loved one, be advised that they only have a doctor onsite two days a week (Tues/Thursday). That's ludicrous. So if your loved one needs care and it's an off day, they either continue suffering or go to the emergency room.My dad was recently transferred to Hooverwood due to insufficient care at The Forum. Hooverwood's facility is renovated (my sister said it's more like a hotel). And most importantly, they have a doctor onsite 5 days a week. Seems like tablestakes for rehab. If you've read this far, here's what The Forum is all about: money. On the day when my father was transferred, he had physical therapy earlier in the day. A staff member had the audacity to call my sister and ask that he stay the night, instead of being transferred, so that the facility could get reimbursed for the therapy. That's reason enough to avoid The Forum at all costs. It's a business first, rehab second. Also, for what it's worth, one member of the staff was condescending to my father. He's been having memory issues. When he presses the call button and a staff member arrives 5-10 minutes later, my dad may not remember why he pressed it. I was on speakerphone and overheard a conversation that I wouldn't wish on any patient. I would like to remind Forum staff that you are looking after "patients", and doing so requires "patience". Senior staff members need to provide better training. Two stars given because my father liked his PT/OT at The Forum.
M M: The high ratings baffle me. To be honest my loved one was never admitted here. We tried multiple times to get him in this facility for rehab and were lied to and given the run around over and over. It is disgusting when a place that is supposed to offer a caring service decides they will exclude patients in need for reasons I don't want to believe are still true in this day and age, but sadly are alive and well at Forum.
Michelle Miller: My parents have both been at the Forum for 10 months, dad is in Memory Care and mom is in Independent Living. They moved there from another facility that was not able to care for my dad at the level he needed and we couldn't be happier. The Memory Care area is phenomenal. Christina and the rest of the staff (most have been there many years) are caring, very competent and extremely patient and always do what is best for the residents. My dad requires more hands on attention and they take such great care of him. There are many activities (Becky is great!) and they try to personalize the activities when they can to better suit the needs of the residents. I can't speak highly enough about the Memory Care and staff. My mom lives in Independent Living and loves it. The aides are all caring and know her name and go out of their way to help her. The food at the restaurant is very good and Prince and Trey are standouts with their joyful attitudes and willingness to chat and engage with the residents and families. They also have fun activities and events that my mother enjoys and the transportation to appointments is very helpful. All of the staff at Memory Care, Independent Living, and in Administration are friendly and helpful and they treat the residents with respect. The Director, Tim, is very engaged and seems to always be there and frequently can been seen chatting with the residents in the restaurant and elsewhere. Brad, who enrolled us, is wonderful too. Both facilities are always clean and the grounds are well maintained. The only (somewhat) negative thing I can say is that since the facility is older there have been some issues with heating, electrical, water leaks etc., but when they have occurred the residents have been notified and the issues have been promptly fixed.I still wouldn't trade the Forum for a newer, flashier place. Before moving there I visited many senior living locations but I didn't feel as comfortable in them and I knew my parents wouldn't either. In the end the Memory Care, Skilled Nursing (which we haven't needed yet), and dedicated staff with many years of experience were the deciding factors for us.
Dian A: Our mother and father have been here several times over the years, mainly for rehab or respite in the healthcare center. Most recently our mother was here. As always, we find the staff members are very caring and are like family members to all of us. We wouldn't go anywhere else for skilled nursing care. We are also thankful for Sunday worship services there by volunteers.
Tad Lichtenauer: Incredible experience for my mother! She was living in the independent care side but then needed rehab help and finally hospice care. The staff on both sides were caring, very professional and extremely sympathetic. Highly recommend this facility.
touchedbyanangel salon: First impressions very important when entering as a resident or visitor. The environment very well maintained & color interior is light and airy. Flowers at entrance just lovely. Not hospital like at all. Mr. Tracy and Ms. Antwaina and Ms. Carolyn all very accommodating. Staff very friendly plus professional. Met my relative dining in beautiful sunny area. Her meal looked very tasty. Clean & comfortable. I would definitely keep this place on my list for myself or my Dad. I am so delighted my relative is here even if it is just for a few days. I know she is well taken care of during her stay. Truly a blessing.Dee
Marsha Reynolds: The memory care staff is fabulous, providing excellent day-to-day care, along with meaningful and fun special activities for all. Families are encouraged to be present and involved in numerous special events planned very intentionally for the residents.
Shelly Lindley: We love the Memory Care Unit. The staff work so hard to make sure our loved ones are taken care of with compassion and respect. The Forum Memory Care Unit is worth checking out to see if it is the right place for your loved one.
debbie grant: My mother-in-law had a difficult time moving from her home and the city she had lived many years. She ended up loving it & shared “she wished she had moved sooner to The Forum”. Everyone has been so caring to my mother-in-law from the staff in the dining room to the aides that assisted her day in & day out. As a family all of us would highly recommend The Forum, a wonderful community for your love ones.
Meredith Marti: Beautiful community with fabulous management, spacious apartments, and a great continuum of care!
Jona Hayhurst: Very elegant and upscale senior community. The Executive Director is well versed in proper management and oversight of this community. The food is phenominal and prepared by an experienced chef which does a fantastic job leading the Dietary team. I highly recommend this community for your loved one.
Trey Fitzwater: Great Facility and loving staff as well as residents. Very home like feeling
Dawn Selke: Forum at the Crossing is truly a five star Community!Several of the nurses on the skilled side and in memory care have been there for 15 to 20 years plus. That is so rare to find! They truly care about their patients like family. On the Independent living side, the residents are so friendly and the resident services team is great at planning activities and events and bringing in quality programming and entertainment for the residents to enjoy!
Eddie Smith: This is a top notch senior facility. They have everything on site (doctors, rehab, salon, restaurant, etc). Residents do not have to leave the building for anything. It is also very clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. The residents are well cared for.

Sherri Beck: A Great place to live
RealtorClaireAnne Aikman: Lovely set up with variety of levels of service.
Betzabe Margarita Torres Prado: Un lugar precioso, instalaciones para las personas mayores.
Gail Wiener: I signed in at a new kiosk at Hoosier Village. It was fast and easy.
Terry Greene: All the staff is very friendly. Kudos to Ashley Murdock.
Mark Stoltz: My mom has been a resident for over 7 years. I have never had doubts that she wasn’t being cared for with kindness and compassion. The peace of mind I have knowing my mother feels safe and respected makes the rest of this difficult journey tolerable.
K. Michael VerKamp: Really a great community, and have truly exceeded our expectations.
Scott Wooldridge: Good friendly staff and calm community. I enjoy visiting very much.
Jason Christenson: Beautiful place and they seem to do a very nice job. The people here are very friendly.
Gerald Resler: Beautiful place, but care for the elderly lacks .
Tom Hartman: Great place to retire if you can afford it.
LuAnn Tanzilli: Friendly and inviting...
Tom Thomas: Unsafe. No security.
Shelly Williams: Very clean and wasn't smelly
John Foster: If you've got the cash this is the right place.
Mark Dillard: Mother lives there
benjamin boyles: New buildings, pool, cafeteria, little expensive.
Brittney Morris: Got fired for working to hard
ARKANJEL: As an employee way back when...this company basically helped save my 13 year old son's (at the time) now 17..life. I only worked there for about 7 months as a charge nurse in the health center. Still think about some if my residents...but I give this place 5 stars because of what they did for me as a single mom of a sick child even tho I had to resign to be with him through treatment. He was re-diagnosed in 2018. But...he beat it again and has been in remission since December of 2019. I know they may wonder at times whatever became of us and I'm leaving this for them really. Thank you for caring about your employees as you did me. I'll never forget it..❤
Aaron S: I do not live here. However, I have been fortunate over the years to experience the joys of many retirement homes and nursing facilities.First thing I noticed was that it did not smell of urine (this is a positive). Second, the hallways are wide and clean. Third, it is lighted well and bright. Fourth, the rooms in the assisted living are really spacious.Bottom line - this is a very top quality facility.
Ed Staubach: This is a delightful community where our volunteer orchestra gives concerts in the spring and fall.

Anthology of Meridian Hills: what do users think?
EAT WITH YAE: Worked here didn’t get paid! Administrator has a horrible attitude and that’s why they will continue to be hiring!!
Terry Jennifer: I worked here for 9 months and they fraud people from their money, I was supposed to be payed my PTO but they said they don't pay PTO they are just fraud
Wilma Jones: My sister stayed in memory care late Sept - Oct 2021 for 19 days and she looked like a psychotic mess when I returned. Poor staffing that lacked knowledge of memory care patients. Didn't follow medication schedule neither was able to get her in bed the entire 19 days. Had temporary staffing just to be there only and running between to different wings.
Tiara Hall: As a contractor working through covid-19 and quarantine I visited/worked at this facility many times and it was always a great experience. The facility is always clean and smells good. The residents are well taken care of and happy. Also special mention to the D.O.N (director of nursing) Ty who I’ve seen go the extra mile to take care of the residents and her staff!
Scott Reeser: Father-in-law stayed in their "memory care" and wasn't treated with dignity. There are other memory care places with proper facilities, staffing and training; use one of them instead. This place is not equipped to handle your loved one's dementia in the event of slight erratic behavior. You'd expect if they paid for enough staff and their adequate training for Alzheimer's patients, they wouldn't send them to the hospital so often. My FIL has since been taken care of more than satisfactorily elsewhere without any hesitation of this other staff being able to handle all of his behaviors and not just the convenient ones. Anthology is a joke compared to the others we've dealt with.
Blaine Reeser: This review is for the memory care center only. My father was here over the summer and they couldn't care for him properly. The nurses and CNAs always seemed wonderful but I don't think they had access to the proper training for Alzheimer's care. When they couldn't handle him they finally sent him to a neuropsych center and made other threats because they could not take care of him.We picked him up to move him and his belongings were covered in urine and poop.My goal in this review is just to make others looking for memory care aware that this facility is not one I would want anyone sending their loved one to. Hopefully they will either find better training programs or stop advertising about memory care and just stick with long term facility advertising.
Kemwal for Christ: It s a place anyone would love to be, very beautiful and clean but I wish they could have workers for night duty because you will find none from 8:30pm through the night . You could be at the entrance for several minutes praying that someone would show up. You wouldn’t find anyone to ask questions from when necessary . I have roamed several times looking for someone to ask questions .....everybody disappears ....
Sarah Bricker: While my mom was only a resident at Anthology for 6 months, the compassion, care, kindness, patience and professionalism of the staff was amazing every single one of the days she lived there. The environment was clean and well kept; the staff always took time to communicate details with the family during daily phone calls; the staff was patient with my mom and got to know her in a personal way which allowed them to relay funny or wonderful anecdotes; the personal care my mom received was excellent and respectful. My mom was not easily satisfied after having to move out of her home but even she said "It's nice here".
Gretchen Huff: Really friendly staff and great location for where my family is needing to relocate. 86th Street and Meridian - make sure you check them out if you are needing assisted or memory care for a family member
Sally Rose: From our first tour to move in day, Stonecrest has been wonderful. We have been so pleased with the people and care he has gotten! It’s a beautiful facility, clean, great food, fun family activities and top notch when it comes to care. Feels more like a hotel than anything! The peace of mind Stonecrest has given us is hard to put into words. Wonderful place.
