Samantha Tantillo: At first, Starlite seemed like a very accommodating and friendly place to learn how to dance for our wedding. Our instructor was very patient and informative; however, due to some miscommunication, my now husband and I double booked ourselves one night when we were suppose to have a lesson. We explained to the woman and were very apologetic, but we could not miss our other meeting. She explained that the $$ and lesson could not be made up, which we were fine with since it was our mistake. However, after that, they stopped answering and returning our calls -- despite our already having paid for an ENTIRE package. We adds fine eating the $ for that one of the SIX we paid for; yet, here we are. Very childish and unprofessional.

Salsa, rumba, cha-cha just to name a few. I like the fact that they ask you what you want to learn, and don't stop until your there..
Candi Perry: The Starlite Ballriom & Dance School is one of the best Ballrooms and Dance Schools in the State of Indiana. I love to dance and the people are always friendly, fun, and ready to dance at any moment. The atmosphere is great and the Instructors, students and even the owners are lively and welcoming. Way to go Starlite!
Christina Taggart: Starlite Ballroom is a wonderful studio with great teachers. Whether your goal is to dance competitively or you just want to learn some social dancing, the teachers at Starlite will help you reach your goals. It's also a fantastic place for children to learn to dance. They have a number of children and teens that take lessons at the studio and all the teachers are wonderful with kids. The children range in skill level from those just learning to dance, to those that are training to become future world class professional ballroom dancers. I would absolutely recommend Starlite Ballroom to anyone.

Rajinder Thind: I love this studio, Everybody is so caring and friendly, Floor is Hugh competition size and the training is world class. There is so much positive energy as you walk into the studio there are so many out of town students who drive hours to come here to take lessons from the champions. This studio offers everything for any level of ball room dancer from social dancer to championship level training for a competitive student. I am so honored to be part of this studio and Rauno's student. I am one of Rauno's out of town student since last year. Before coming to this studio I had taken lessons with different professionals but Rauno IS THE BEST. I wish I had started with him sooner.
Jessica Mays: I started training with Starlite Ballroom last year and just loved the studio. On several occasions I traveled from Chicago to train in Indianapolis with Kristiina and Rauno. The instruction was amazing and their ballroom studio is perfect for training. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone wanting top notch instruction from champions. Monica Henkel: I have been taking classes here for over a year, and I love it! The teachers are very fun and knowledgeable. I love that the learning is focused on being able to communicate and feel comfortable with reading, listening to, and speaking Spanish, not on perfection. Instructors are patient and have a variety of teaching techniques to make learning fun.
esinath kwenda: Their classes are not geared for somebody who doesn't know any Spanish it is a waste of money. I did a class and I was so intimidated that we were reading sentences on the first day for a beginner. If you don't know any Spanish please don't waste your money, word of advise.

When signed up the protocol called for a small in person class that will encourage mask wearing.Was a little upset when there was a required question about whether or not we were vaccinated.Low and behold an email came later that they are planning on splitting the classes to online and in person, vaccinated people.There wasn’t enough room for the online class, so then they just said the immersion in person class can’t be taken without a vaccine because they want to be maskless.No other options were explored, or even mentioned.So sad that there is this discrimination in the world still.

Hannah Worns: We took lessons here to prepare for our first dance at our wedding and had a great experience! We worked with Jhett and he was awesome and made our lessons fun. The first few weeks he taught us the building blocks for our dance style and then we spent the rest of our lessons running our dance and refining it. We felt super confident during our wedding dance and absolutely nailed it! Very happy with our experience and definitely recommend.

Jonathan Koons: I have had an excellent experience at Five Star. I came to the studio with absolutely no experience and had no idea what to expect. Of many things I love about the studio, one of the most compelling features for me is that there are group classes every week night. This has given me the opportunity to learn a wide array of dance styles as well as meet fun and interesting people.It's worth noting that I mostly take classes at the Carmel location, but I often visit Fishers on Fridays for their dance parties. The instructors are energetic and fun, and I always look forward to these Friday events.
Kade Sarah: Still waiting for a refund of a dance package we purchased 4 months ago. We were told they had to make sure they had the money in the account before they could refund us. The package was $475!!! Have not received any apology for inconvenience. I spoke with Austin, Molly, Austin's Brother and the blonde girl numerous times. Could have been somewhat of a pleasant experience had we received our money back. Buyer beware! Dont be fooled by groupons or discounts. Once they get you in they have nothing to lose if you need more lessons.

They always have fun events going on and we love dancing and celebrating life with these people.

Andre, Robert, Stacy, Austin, Molly and Michael are all so fun and we love spending time there learning from them. They have master instructors come to teach from other parts of the country, too. And what a difference the last four months have been.The first time I walked through the door I had convinced myself there was no way I would ever be able to dance. In less than 30 minutes I found out otherwise. The instructors are very professional and teach in a way that I am able to easily understand.The only other thing I can add is if you are thinking about learning to dance come in and give it a shot. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by what you find.

At the same time,they are so very patient and encouraging !Besides the instructors, the other dancers that come are also very friendly and encouraging. We cannot imagine not coming here. We try to attend the group classes 4 evenings a week as well as the Friday night parties.

This place has the best teachers and classes you could ask for at the most affordable rates anywhere. I started dancing at age 56 and can honestly say it was one of the best decisions of my life. I lost 40 pounds and met the love of my life here thru dancing. No more bars or staying at home for me. I participate in life. Love this place and the people in it.
Nisa Singchawala: I have been taking lesson from Carmel Ballroom Dance Studio since January. It has been such a great experiences with the instructor that care for the dance. The owner, Danny, has been wonderful in term of helping me learn, and has been going above and beyond to help me. This studio truly care more about your dance skill than the financial gain. The environment at the studio is friendly, relax and helpful. I would highly recommend this studio for anyone who is interested in Ballroom dance.

Ballare has such a great feel to it, you can tell the staff is friendly and eager to make everyone feel at home. I have always found that to be very important!The dance floor itself is really nice - big and dreamy. Very nice experience overall and a really fun dance party with lesson beforehand... I highly recommend making this place a habit!

Taking ballroom lessons at Ballare is a great exercise, regardless of your age, for a year-round activity! They have professional and GREAT Instructors! It is a clean and awesome facility for learning ballroom, line-dancing, and booking a private party or a wedding reception! There is no other place in the Indianapolis area that you would rather be than at Ballare!

After severla lessons I actually started to feel comfortable and more importantly started to enjoy myself and enjoy continuing to learn to dance in a fun environment. The weekly dance are great as you meet people with various skill levels but everyone seems to enjoy dancing and helping me become more accomplished. That wasvery important to me not to feel intimation but rather exhilaration at learning a new hobby. Being a single gentlemen I found it to be a great place to meet people and be able to start great conversations with each person already having some common interests. Melissa Warner: Friendly and professional teachers. Bright and cheery dance floor and studio. You definitely need to check it out. They run specials. Definitely give them a call and book an appointment. They have private and group lessons. So much fun.
