F45 Training Indianapolis Downtown: what do users think?
Eric Booher: F45 has been a really good fit for me. I’m 50 years old and I used to do CrossFit and wanted something with less injury factor. I did orange theory but it’s way to corporate and people aren’t friendly at all. I started doing peloton during the shut down but I was ready to be social again and f45 is exactly what I like! I show up and I’m told what to do so there’s no thinking but I can customize to make it to how hard I want to work that day. Plus they allowed me to try it first so I knew I liked it before I spent any money. Another great thing is that I can choose to work out everyday of the week which really makes it great for my schedule.
Brian Hall: Best work out, environment in Downtown!
Kiara Moore: F45 Indianapolis has really changed my life. I used to hate working out, and while I don’t enjoy it quite yet lol, F45 has made me realize my strengths and made me confident working out in a gym full of people trying to get in shape. Jarrett is one of the best trainers there, he corrects my form, and is also so positive in the mornings. Would absolutely recommend this gym to EVERYONE
anvaya bhusari: I’ve been enjoying the strength workout sessions at f45 ! The class has a great energy and make me feel motivated to push myself !
Taylor Trieloff: I have been going to F45 for a little under a month and have been loving it! A great workout that flies by with a fun environment and fasted paced stations
Annalissa Kammeyer: Love the workouts, staff, and environment! Such a great place to workout!
Cynthia Hurst: All the coaches are super supportive and really make each class unique and fun!
Emylee Eyler: Absolutely love F45 + the trainers at the Downtown Indy location! The weekly structure between strength and cardio, 45 min commitment, the ability to personalize each workout to your needs/abilities and the variety of classes and workouts keeps it exciting and manageable! You will feel yourself getting stronger after each class! Totally worth it!
Megan Reynolds: Wonderful experience all around. The classes are worth the investment. Friendly coaches and members who keep you motivated to come back and work your hardest.
Ashleigh Douglas: F45 is such an inclusive fitness opportunity. The coaches are welcoming, supportive, & do such a nice job hyping everyone up. They provide modifications for people who are intimidated by the workouts & also push you to do better each time. I am so grateful to have joined f45 downtown Indianapolis!
Valerie Ostrowski: I enjoy the intensity and variety of the classes - it never gets boring or repetitive! I’m always looking forward to coming back!!
Jennifer Lauria Clark: Kip was energetic and welcoming as a trainer and a professional. This was my first time checking out an F45 and he really made me feel comfortable. His ability to manage the entire class and help each of us with our form gave me the workout I was seeking. Two thumbs up for F45 and Kip and Alex!! Thank you for you amazing hospitality! I highly recommend trying them out today!
John Ebright: Came in from out of town for a couple days. Brought my coworker who has not worked out in a setting similar to f45 or any circuit style. We were both very comfortable and treated very well. No “intimidation factor”, great workout; clear explanation, easy to follow, attentive and motivating instructors. The facility was very clean and well organized. I will definitely return if/when back in Indianapolis.
Alan Alvarez: F45 is fantastic! All the instructors are energetic, incredibly kind, and friendly; they go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and included and push you along the way during the class. The workouts are pretty challenging, and you never do the same thing twice. Also, the music is always a blast, the remixes are straight bangers, and it feels like there's a live DJ in the gym every time. (Also, the speaker quality is excellent, they have some nice JBL speakers.) Lastly, the people who attend are pretty supportive; they always give a shout-out after the workout is done! F45 is probably my favorite gym I've ever worked out at.
MacKenzie North: I joined F45 a couple weeks ago and I already am feeling so much better about myself in terms of energy levels, physique, and overall mood. I was feeling very stagnant in my previous workouts, so having a trainer and other people pushing you for 45 mins a day is really encouraging. I have loved all the trainers and the community F45 provides. The workouts are intense and challenge me, which is what I needed. I would highly recommend F45 for anyone feeling stagnant and needing a change, because that was me. I am now excited to get up and get my workout in, and I am excited to see the results and progress I make with this membership.
Lexy Hanas: Love F45, it’s fun and also a great workout! Highly recommend if you like group fitness classes.
Ben Adams: Big fan of everything and everyone associated with this place! From the minute you walk in the door to when you’re dragging yourself back out, it’s an incredible atmosphere and experience. Can’t say enough great things about the people running this gym. My one regret is not joining sooner!
Meg Schleter: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI’ve had a great experience so far through F-45. The coaches are super supportive and go the extra mile to help you achieve your goals. I would recommend this location & program to anyone!
Alexis Cohen: Positive:Quality
Joseph Jackson: Big fan of F45. Classes are short and non-stop, so you get a great workout in, in a shorter timespan than you find with a lot of other places. The days alternate between strength and cardio too, so there's a solid mix of variability that keeps you from ever feeling stagnant.
Allison: Positive:Professionalism,QualityCoaches are all very helpful. It's a friendly and supportive atmosphere!

National Institute For Fitness and Sport(NIFS): what do users think?
Derik Strenzel: If you’re looking for a pool that’s literally never accessible for lap swim this is your place $40 a month will hold down your ability to schedule training sessions two weeks out, not regularly, but if you get lucky here and there you might be able to get a slot. And the assistant director doesn’t even seem to be able to cancel a membership at your request.. thanks Lisa!! Thumbs down for service…
Gabriel Hawkins: Once a great gym, but it sold its sole to college kids. Can't even run stairs in this gym any more. So sad.
Kane Li: I have been a nifs member since 2006 or 2007. I first became a member when I was a high school student at Indianapolis metropolitan HS and the school provided the membership for us. Then I went to college at IUPUI, and been a member with a discount. Now I work but live around the downtown area, so I continue to be a member there.Yes, as others said in comments. A lot of things have changed. The gym has downgraded. I think the cause of that is the change of management. There used to be a short hair guy, like 5 feet 5. He used to run the gym and I don't see him anymore in the building. The treadmills are some cheap craps. If someone over 200 lbs running on there, you would hear an earthquake in the building. Besides that, yeah you do see unprofessional employees, but those are the new workers. Their senior employees are very nice people. The gym membership used to cost 50 dollars and now went down to 30. But I honestly would pay 50 monthly if nifs can be what it used to be.
Genevieve Evans: Didn’t actually go lol
Ambassador Dr. Angela J Nealy, PhD: Really changed tremendously. Loved jogging and running on the track. The NO spikes No Blocks that is absurd. This is a 200m mondo track with hydraulic lifts to bank the track made in France just for NIFS.We use to hold indoor meets there. The USA T & F National office is in Indianapolis and we can not run in spikes on this track, rediculous?
Huiru Li: Good facilities good environment good service person!
jeevana maddineni: I love NIFS they offer a variety of free sessions for yoga, cycling, basic and advanced strength training. Also, they have lots of programs to choose from for weight loss and they explain it in every detail. The best part is you get a free 3D scan and BOD POD test before getting a training plan for exercise and diet.
Nicholas Street, MSN, RN: Awesome place.
Troy Gosser: Went in for a Bodpod on 12/23 and was checked in quickly. The trainer that took my Bodpod was friendly and efficient.
Jaime 247: It's very disappointing that I have to leave this review, I love nifs worth a passion. However today was not a very good day at all. Usually the staff is very nice and friendly but not today. We left nifs and one of the employees rudely and unprofessionally told us that the showers were closed and told us to "get out". I've never had an issue with a employee before here, but this one was a first. Also second because unfortunately another employees was rushing us to get out while we were trying to get out as fast as possible but to him it felt like we were taking forever. Now I understand yes they are closed, but there was no need for the rudness like that. It was probably just this once and maybe it won't happen again. I hope.
Caleb Binkley: This is my go-to gym every time I'm in Indianapolis for work. The facility is outfitted with everything you could possibly need, no matter what sort of fitness you're into. Highly recommend if you're needing a place to get a workout in.
Jiawei Xu: Nice and professional place
Lahaye Farms: After being a guest for two visits, I was pulled aside by the director, and accused of some sort of public indecency. False accusations by a director who took my statement "with a grain of salt" have led me decide not to be a member at this facility I greatly enjoyed in my 20s. It is the world we live in now a days that you are guilty before even being approached about the incident. Would recommend that they put better safe guards in place to protect their patrons and their privacy.
Brianna Olvera: I am a beginner but honestly I really like this gym. It makes you feel comfortable to work out and there’s always help if needed. Cleanliness is on point. As a college student I love coming here before or after classes and it helps that the showers are open to use so I can clean up for class. Overall, 10/10!
Ninad Bandodkar: This once amazing fitness center has gone downhill after covid. I used to be a regular member from 2017 thru 2019. I decided to cancel my membership since they decided to have forever mask mandates and all the facilities such as sauna and pool closed for infinity.
ISO xHORSE: I think the facility is okay, the equipment is a bit outdated compared to other gyms. Other gyms have had their basketball court, sauna, pool, locker rooms and spa open for months now and this gym has not opened those features of the gym since the reopening. When you ask the employees about when these amenities are going to come back they say they don’t know. There should be no reason why a date should not be in place for these amenities coming back within the next few months. When really they should have already been back with the vaccine being available for everyone in the state of Indiana for close to a month now and the cases and death rate of the virus being on the decline for several months. I understand precaution although, at this point there should be no reason why none of the employees have a clue to when these amenities will be back and why they aren’t already back. Last but not least, why do I pay full membership price but get close to half of the features of the gym? That’s why they don’t bring it back because they can charge full price without paying for maintenance for the whirlpool, locker room, sauna, steam room and basketball court.
XiaoTian XiaoTian: Cool place and very friendly stuff, wanna practice here every single day
Clifton Rodgers: I would like to give this place 4 or 5 stars but I can't. The facilities are very good, and although the layout is a bit odd, you quickly get used to it. The locker room facilities are also very nice and I never had an issue with their cleanliness. My issue comes from the staff. I have never been hagled so much in my life. There is/was an older gentleman trainer there that would constantly sit within 6 feet of my workout partner and myself and watch us like a hawk as we trained. There was also a larger female trainer that at one time yelled at me from across the track to put away gym equipment I wasn't even using. I humored her and put it away, but she yelled at me again for not putting it away in the correct location. I believe all of this was rooted in the fact that the smaller trainer that enjoys kettlebells accused me of using their gym to have people pay me under the table to train them. Yes I was a personal trainer and yes one time I invited one of my clients to workout with me and check out the gym (did not charge her for that). I understand them wanting to ensure people don't do that, but it bothered me they didn't ask me first, they simply assumed and accused. But other than that, I think the price they charge is on the higher side but can be justified if they still offer the parking pass with the membership.
lei xu: perfect place to work out👍great bath room btw
John Williams: Plenty of cardio equipment that few people use , and not enough equipment that many people use (Treadmills). How about start being a decent gym and purchase a few more new treadmills? How about actually replacing the treadmills that you remove, supposedly for "repair service"? Two treadmills were removed and NOT replaced. Equipment was rearranged to make it seem nothing was changed. A very deceptive practice.
Tom Tran: One of my favorites about the facility is the large workout area with a track-and-field. The sauna is also my favorite because it recovered me after my long day of stress and makes it relaxing. Would go there next time!

Mei Fitness - Keystone: what do users think?
tolani salvador: New to MEI and absolutely loving it. I moved to Indy area in November and started at LA fitness but wasn't satisfied for many reasons. A colleague of mine told me about MeI, and I'm already impressed. If anything, I'm upset it hasn't been around my entire gym life. Where were you when I started in high school 15 years ago? 😂 They are very responsive. I sent a DM via Instagram and a they immediately responded and also had someone call me. I could write a separate section on their equipment alone. They have things I've only seen on tictoc. An absolutely must. You guys ruined me for toher gyms. There's no going back for me.
Efrain A. Vargas: Gray gym. It is always clean and equipment is new. People is very respectful and they go to work out. Never is pack wich is great.
Jacqueline: Love this gym!! Have never felt so comfortable working out somewhere. The culture here is great.
Luis Salinas: The Best
Taylor Dennison: By far the best gym in the area. Clean, great equipment, and love the 24 hour access and staff. Will never need another gym!
MNB: Marissa Nicole Bell: Hands down one of aTHE BEST gyms I have ever have the pleasure of visiting and becoming a member of. I was in Indianapolis for work and was concerned about whether or not I would have gym close to where I had relocated to. Thankfully this gem of a gym was super close. Top tier equipment, and customer service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nick vanover: Decent gym until you see what’s behind the curtain. Mel, the owner, has zero customer service / business skills and tends to hide behind a “christly” facade.Just cancelled my membership this morning due to an unresponsive and downright rude owner, something that even the staff acknowledged. Every other time I went to get a lift in an expensive piece of clothing (i.e. Lululemon joggers, YoungLA items) would get stained from their cleaner. Come to find out from 2-3 of the front desk employees the owner chooses to stick to a cheaper 80/20 mix of bleach and not tell the customers.I reached out 6-7 times via Instagram DMs (this owners only communication channel - if that tells you anything lol) and even had staff leave notes with my name and number on them only to be ignored. Mel would even view the messages I sent and accompanied photos of my clothing and those from friends I gathered and ignore them completely.Any sane business owner would apologize (all I truly wanted), and MAYBE go the extra mile to offer some sort of consolation, this goof chose to ignore. Like he does every other person that has an issue. In summary, if you enjoy replacing your clothes weekly… or ruining that new fit you just spent your hard earned money on… go light your $50 per month on fire at MEI
Rebecca Murray: As others have stated the billing is a nightmare. I cancelled my membership in person, on my receipt it says Jan 20th is last dues date and I got charged February dues. So annoyingUpdate: they refunded me. Will see if I get charged next month
Austin Stonemark: Great gym, among the only few that are 24 hours. Lots of good weight equipment and a sauna.
Jonathan Temple: Great gym atmosphere. But the management and billing company are not on the same page and are absolutely terrible. Was told my account would be frozen by the billing company and a month later they want charges and fees. Management had a chance to fix the problem and said they are not gonna do anything about it. Such a shame a great gym is ran with without proper management and customer service. As someone who has ran gyms for over ten years, I know this is a prime example of how you shouldn't treat a customer. If only the great gym atmosphere could bleed over to management and billing.
Mary: The owner was super rude when confronted about a concerning matter. As a young female, it was very degrading to be spoken to as if my concerns were not valid. The only reason this gets one star is because the management. Perhaps the owner should learn something from his team.
Chris Leek: The gym is fine. The problem is with management. I called in approximately a month after getting my membership letting them know that I had sustained an injury and needed to cancel. I just got a call today informing me that I owe over $100 and that they are going to keep calling me until I pay it. They said you were not allowed to cancel your membership and less you physically show up to the location. They do not care if you are injured or if you are unable to make it to the location. They are strong army me into payments even though I have begged to get out of the relationship. I highly discourage anyone from spending any money with this business.
Zach Shahan: Great gym, great ownership, CARES about the members. Always listening to the community and upgrading equipment where needed. I recommend this gym to anyone in greater Indianapolis area!
Jonathan Raber: Was enjoying my workout, I took off my shirt to pose when the 40 year old washed up worker came up to me very aggressively saying “it’s a public place put your shirt on” extremely rude and unprofessional, I then looked for the rules to see if it was an actual rule, I couldn’t find it so I went up to that worker and asked him if I could see the rule. He then got more aggressive saying, “oh you want to do this right now” all I wanted to do was see the rule in writing and I got my membership canceled, I’m extremely disappointed that something like this could happen. I tried to file a report but I was ignored. Please don’t support this gym, they don’t care about there members
TJ Wessling: Nice gym and cool equipment advertised on social media, however no day pass?? Just have people sign a liability waiver and collect 20 bucks.
Steph R: Great gym
Jeremy Eltz: Great gym with serious lifters. Equipment is top of the line. Not a huge gym, but every square inch is effectively used! 2 minor downsides, the loud praise music. Bring your headphones and turn it up. 2nd, I've been going for 9 months or so and twice the door didn't open outside of staffed hours. No one's fault; technology fails sometimes.
Justin Kelly: Mei Fitness is a real gym. It’s not the Y, it’s not the big box gyms, it is the place that you go to get real work done. Affordable, clean, and the owners are always adding equipment that is too notch would give 10 stars if I could!
Julian Sollenskog: Gotta be the best gym in the city
Bryan Rivas: Locker room/ bathroom could use a lot more space as there’s hardly any room and hardly enough lockers the bathroom isn’t the cleanest. Aswell as no area to stretch ect… But when it comes to the variety of weights available and machines no other place competes. Overall gym is not the biggest and Locker isn’t great either but when it comes to the machines and weights it’s amazing.
james wright: The cancellation process here is laughable. They don't explain anything to you about how it works until you try to cancel. They hide ridiculous terms and conditions in the agreements (have to cancel in person? are you kidding me, if I don't want to continue to pay for a service that I can no longer utilize then I should be able to cancel however I want). How do you find this to be an ethical business practice? For a place that is getting tax exemptions by claiming to follow the book of god you sure do some shady business practices.

Myriad Health + Fitness: what do users think?
Eve Anderson: I’ve been a member of this community for about 8 or 9 years… through expansions, transitions to new facilities, rebranding, changes in programming, addition of new classes, new scheduling, coaching, and members (and a bunch of my own life changes). Through these years and changes, here’s what remains 100% constant and predictable: outstanding leadership, the coaching staff has always been knowledgeable, motivated, approachable, and dedicated to helping me reach my goals (even as they change), the programming is always outstanding, and I’ve never doubted whether it is efficient, and the environment is always motivating and welcoming. I’ve stepped away briefly to explore new gyms and programs with friends, but always come back to myriad. Ive been able to achieve fitness goals I never would have imagined possible at certain points of my life, but also have been able to maintain great levels of fitness when life limits how much time and energy I can spend fitnessing. It is a place anyone will feel welcome and will be able to achieve their personal fitness goals.
Ty G: This place is literally a "life saver." When I walked in the door the first time, I had the same apprehensive feelings about working out in a group environment. The Myriad staff immediately puts you at ease with a welcoming hand. They live by the motto: "You Do YOU" and will scale workouts to your own ability. The community aspect is the best part of this bootcamp class. People are super encouraging to others often cheering us slower folks on as we finish the workouts. Lastly, I do not believe I would have survived my heart attack had I not been a loyal, frequent member at this special place.
Matt Parrott: Jared and the staff at Myriad are second to none…. Keep it up!
Jason Woodnick: Myriad has become my home away from home for the past 3 years. Myriad has a variety of class options for people of all skill levels. The members are fantastic and the coaches are some of the best you can find. Myriad truly cares about each member and strongly emphasizes inclusivity within their space. A 5 star business on every level!
Daniel Waninger: I've been a part of bootcamp for several years and it's been a great part of staying healthy and fit for me. The classes are able to be scaled to any fitness level so is challenging (in a good way) for both new and regulars. Great way for working professionals to stay fit.
cody barron: I have been to many gyms in my life, Myriad is among the best. The facility, equipment, staff, and community are all great. Would recommend.
Nate Eddelman: I have been w this place since they were Naptown fitness off Delaware. This place has become my refuge. From starting CrossFit, finding my way in love boot camp and doing yoga. They hold me accountable especially Momma Leslie, which I’ve come to fall in love, bc she corrects, and tells me when I’m wrong. (Not just In the gym but life) I truly love and respect this gym! I love them and I promise you, you will as well!
Taeyong Ahn: I highly recommend Myriad Health and Fitness. I was nervous about joining the gym since I hadn't been very active previously. All the coaches made me feel very comfortable and guided me through my fitness journey. Myriad has become a big part of my life and I am very glad that I decided to join Myriad.
Kyle Goodberlet: "If you want to be the best version of yourself and join a community that will help you grow as an individual - drop-in and then join Myriad.Best Gym in Indianapolis to achieve your goals. They have so much variety to keep your mind and body consistently challenged - Yoga, BootCamp, CrossFit, Weightlifting, Personal Training...you'd have to join 3-4 gyms and pay thousands of dollars a month to get the same services offered at Myriad Fitness."
Shannon Albers: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityGreat coaching and community! I always feel welcome and encouraged.
Scott Husband: The overall experience at Myriad Health and Fitness is fabulous. It is a great example of a business that is clear on its mission, purpose and values and strives to live those on a daily basis. The member community is very supportive of one another and the resulting atmosphere is fun and motivating in which to work out. The programming is great, in the respect that there is variety built in to assure a full body workout. In addition, there are choices provided that appeal to different levels of athletes. The coaches in staff are extremely knowledgeable and take great care to assure their members are performing the various exercises in the proper manner to avoid injury. I have been to a lot of gyms over the years and I highly recommend Myriad Health and Fitness
Jack Walker: I've been going to Myriad for a few years now. I started coming because I wanted a group fitness class and coaches that would hold me accountable to work out hard. Whenever I try and workout myself I always give up too quickly or don't push myself like I need to get a good workout in and stay healthy. Myriad keeps me honest and disciplined. The Myriad coaches are great at working with people from all skill levels and meeting them where they are at. The Myriad community is very inclusive, inviting, and supportive. It's a great place to workout and meet new people.
Blaise Vincz: Myriad has been such an incredible journey thus far. What started out as a humbling solo endeavor has turned into a daily reprieve with my friends. I’m so thankful I joined, it was exactly what I needed.
Sammy Guinn: Myriad is an awesome choice if you are looking for a gym in the downtown Indy area. They have many different programming options, the workouts/classes are approachable for people of varying fitness levels, and the coaches are very knowledgeable and welcoming.
Marcus Ardiel: Great place/ community to work out and build a hobby around fitness!
Kevin Swihart: Honestly, always a bright spot for me. Staff and members are supportive, workouts are varied, and sometimes there’s a new movement I discover that’s a lot of fun.
Tori Boucher: This is the best gym I have been to. The coaches are super knowledgeable, but are also really good at breaking things down so you really know what you are doing. They make sure that you have a variety of options so that you can fin the movement that works best for you. They are really good explaining things so even someone with little to no fitness experience can be successful. It's not just a gym, it's a whole community. People are super supportive here and judgement free. No matter where you are on your fitness journey, I definitely recommend this place. I always feel like I am improving and getting better.
Mike Cremisi: I’ve been an unlimited member with Myriad (previously Naptown) for almost 3 years now. As someone who has moved cities and been a member of a few other CrossFit gyms, Myriad is my favorite! The community, coaches, diversity of workouts, scheduling, and convenient location is what sets Myriad apart. I even highly recommend the Bootcamp and Move classes.
Jen Woerter: Myriad Health + Fitness is helping me get back on track to healthy habits with nutrition and wellness coaching. At least once a week, Aisha, my nutrition coach, reaches out to touch base and helps keep me accountable. From sending me recipes to make meal planning easier to helping me identify tangible goals, I’ve noticed positive changes in my nutrition and sleep habits. I highly recommend Myriad Health + Fitness to anyone who is seeking guidance on nutrition and fitness.
Katie Small: Myriad has so much to offer from various exercise classes, to nutritional support, to an incredible sense of community. I love the bootcamp and yoga classes. Every instructor does such a good job making the classes fun and safe for everyone participating. I raved enough about Myriad that my husband also became a member. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Ruben Hernandez: I love the fitness community is created regardless of age , background , gender and fitness level . All the coaches are amazing

Drew G: This gym is great. The staff are top notch. They’re helpful, informative and motivational. Sadly, I had to move away and my membership lapsed, but if I am ever back in the area, I will choose this anytime fitness location again.
Amber J.: Very clean. I never felt unsafe (during the pandemic) working out.

Orangetheory Fitness: what do users think?
Tracey Schlosser: Everyone is helpful and makes me feel comfortable, especially for someone that has never worked out
Gary Vornheder: OrangeTheory, Broad Ripple is awesome. The staff are super friendly, my trainer, Josh, was incredible, the overall experience was great. One piece of advice, if you haven't worked out in like 7 years, don't get caught up in the group aspect and think you have to be like everyone in the class. It will leave you wishing you hadn't, at least for a couple of days after. Build yourself up! But it's pretty awesome!
Monica Percifield: Highly recommend! I’m a shy person and did this alone and felt comfortable. Everyone is there to do the same thing
Lainna Cohen: The staff at Broad Ripple OTF are amazing. The coaches are enthusiastic, encouraging and kind. The SAs always greet you with a smile and are helpful to solve any issue you're having.
Alissa Zink: Coaches and staff are so helpful and amazing!!
Turimar si es Viajar: 😜
Lisa Huse: Fast paced, always different and motivating instructors. I improve every time and enjoy the ride.
Jennifer O'Connor: Best overall body workout! It's worth the time...EVERY SINGLE TIME!
John Carter: You’re crazy not to become a member here.
Joel Cooper: Prices are not transparent
Devon Ngo: Great coaches and sales associates. Welcoming and encouraging environment
Sandy Cuzzort: I love the fun atmosphere. It feels like family. The coaches are all knowledgable on the workouts, proper form and alternatives for those with physical injuries or limitations and are quick to spot and correct improper form that might otherwise cause injury. This is the best workout I’ve found by far and I can’t imagine ever tiring of it.
Jenna Spurrier: Really great team. Spacious studio. Coaches push you to do your best. I wish they had one more OTBeat screen on the weight floor. Parking is always pretty good. Good selection of merch.
Haley Alexander: I had scheduled to do my first free class, I arrived 40 minutes early as the website says you need to be there 30 minutes early to your first class. When I arrived the lady at the desk said they would not let me workout even though I had brought all the proper stuff and signed up correctly. I even even brought a business partner who was in town visiting, who already has a membership. Not only did they waste my time but they wasted hers as well, and embarrassed me in front of my coworker. We were both looking forward to working out but due to them turning me away she didn't workout with them either. No one communicated this to me so I was already in the building excited to be there and was turned away even though I followed all of the preliminary steps. Very disappointed in the fact that they did not offer and solution to me other than to come back another day.
Travis Mumford: I've been going to OTF for 3 years now, and it has really changed my life around. No, i'm not rocking a 6 pack, but I am healthier, thinner, fitter, stronger, a faster runner, and have better cholesterol and blood sugar control.3 years ago I hated running. I was slow, fat, and jiggly when I ran. The coaches didn't pressure me to run. They encouraged me to power walk, and have that built into their treadmill routines. After 3-4 months, I started to run, even just because I could. Now I'm running 8 minute miles, I can run for 12 minutes without stopping. Muscles are appearing where they haven't before. pants are fitting better or even looser. I fit in my shirts and pants better.Scheduling classes in advance really has worked for me. I feel social pressure to actually come to the gym. I can't back out at the last second. It's like an appointment I'm committed to keep. I know the coaches and they know me. I get encouragement and positive reinforcement from them.Could the same structure and curriculum be had for a lower monthly cost at a different gym chain? Maybe. If I regularly signed up for classes at LA fitness or Lifetime, I might be just as consistent. But I feel like OTF has a better focus on "whole body" vs a spin or zumba class. And thankfully I'm in a position where I can afford the extra cost.
Linda Jackson: The encouragement and guidance is what keeps me coming back. It’s like having a personal trainer with the bonus of a community of like-minded achievers.
Emily Cole: My friend has been trying to get me to come for 2.5 years and I can’t believe I waited so long! Everyone here was incredibly friendly and took time to explain everything I was seeing and hearing for the first time. I’ve now joined and I’m looking forward to improving my fitness and meeting others at the gym.
Erin Buechler: Positive:Professionalism,QualityOTF Broad Ripple is such a welcoming community. All of the staff knew my name very quickly when starting. That's important! They cheer me on and answer my questions. I'm not the skinniest of people and have never felt less than at OTF Broad Ripple.
Laura Peterson: I have been a member since the Broad Ripple studio opened & have had the best experience. The staff & coaches are so friendly & open to questions. I didn't think I needed a fitness family but I found one I love!
Guy Maynard: There is nothing better than the people at OTF Bripp, co-workers and members alike. I either get to start my days there or end my nights at the studio and I wouldn’t have it another way.
Henry Woodburn: This is the only way I’ve been able to work out consistently

Orangetheory Fitness: what do users think?
Andrew Rodeghero: 4 showers, 15 stations, easy parking and great staff!
Autumn Storm: They want your credit card info but their not going to charge it… so their probably sell your info. I’ve recently had my info sold by just giving companies my email. DONT DO IT!
Debra Belskus: It is a great combination of cardio plus weight lifting. I truly enjoy the coaches as well. It is a fun environment to do a well thought out workout! Plus every day is a different one!
Savvy S1: This studio is amazing!! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. If your visiting Indy this studio will make you feel your at home away from home. All the trainers were wonderful especially Lizz….Keep up the great work!!
Lola Jane: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityOrangetheory has been a game changer for me with my physical and mental health. I set a goal at the age of 40 to look great in a bikini and guess who is ready for summer!! I’ve been to several studios but OTF Downtown Indy is my fave!! Do yourself a favor and join the fun of being in shape.
Matthew Holley: Admittedly, I have a love/hate relationship with OTF. Most often I dread walking in but I always love when the workout is over and I know I accomplished something. But seriously, I always appreciate walking in knowing that the workout is structured and I'll leave sweating. It has helped me supplement my weight training program with structured cardio. Although my location draws a younger crowd, I don't feel out of place - other than struggling to hear the coach over the loud music. And if needed, I modify elements on the floor.
Serese Manson: Thank you for the great service!!!!
Andrew Lampe: Beautiful OTF in downtown Indianapolis. I had a quick drop in and the people there were very welcoming and easy going. Will return to this studio in my next time to Indy.
William Cheng: motivating exercise! will come back :)
Angie Hall: One of my best decisions ever when I joined a few years back! The coaches and staff add the flavor and fun 🙌🔥💪#orangeland
Brad M: Front desk is great, classes are good, but they're the only studio that consistently cuts classes to 54-56 mins instead of the full hour (including stretches).
Blake Bowers: have only done free trial session. signed up right after. amazing workout. class sessions to compete are huge
Isaac Kantor: This place is amazing! The facility is immaculate and has the best tech in town. The staff get to know you personally and always make you feel welcome. The coaches are incredible (you have to do a class with Lizz to see what I mean) and will give you one-on-one coaching moments when you need it but give the entire class encouragement. I never thought I’d enjoy group workouts or going to the gym, but I love both and look forward to my class all day.
VICKIE CARPENTER: I like that each workout is a challenge. I know that I’m going to work hard. The coach is always there to support me. I appreciate the office staff who are always kind and helpful. It’s the best workout that anyone can get because it's full body in 60 minutes. Regardless of your level of physical fitness, it pushes you to be better and stronger.
Christopher Rost: Glad to be back at OTF. I joined an OrangeTheory studio in Chicago and glad to be back at it in Indianapolis.
Shayla Smith: Review after first three months: I LOVE ORANGE THEORY. In the past, I have focused on running, hot yoga, Pilates, weight lifting. I was always intimidated by Orange Theory thinking it was too intense for me. I signed up for the free class and haven’t gone back to other workouts since! My favorite things: the staff and coaches are SO kind and helpful, and they even remember my name already! The classes are a different “template” every day, but you’re always doing a bit of weights, rowing, and power walking/running so I feel it’s a full body workout, but it changes every day to focus on certain things (strength, endurance, power, etc.)You can make the workout as intense as YOU want and I truly never feel like I’m competing against other people, so it’s not intimidating.I always walk away from the class feeling strong and amazing. The location is super clean and nice. Can’t recommend enough! I’m so glad I decided to try it out.
nancy hankins: I’ve been in fitness for over 30 years. I work out at OTF downtown Indy whenever I can. The workout is hard but achievable because of the positive vibe in the room. I’m one of the older ones in class and always feel welcomed and appreciated! The coaches are well trained and top notch in this industry! Thanks OTF!!!
Emily Sell: Very welcoming and fun group!
Michelle Clarkson: Great studio and great staff! I’ve been coming to the studio since 2019; I took a break while I was waiting to get vaccinated and have surgery but as soon as I was able to come back I signed up again. While I had been consistently taking classes-I recently went through some hard family situations and a funeral unexpectedly so I wasn’t able to come in for a month. They were kind and understanding and helped me with my membership. Management and staff were easy to talk to and want to see you reach your fitness goals. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a great place for group fitness.
Alanna Szypura: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityNo matter what time of day, I always feel welcomed. High energy, effective workouts. Clean establishment, friendly and supportive staff.

Mei Fitness - Southport: what do users think?
Kevin Barrer: Staff and clients are all very friendly and supportive.
James Bailey: I am glad I looked at the photos before signing up like I did with PF.only 2 shower stalls, and 1 toilet?Either this place doesn't get busy at all, or it gets really packed in that tiny bathroom. I don't think I need to go any farther.
Trane Fox: Been going here for over a year, love it! I've seen unused equipment get changed out and new equipment brought in. People at the front always greet with a smile. Members here, just get to work. Vibe is a big thing for me and it's great here, from the places esthetic to the members. Mix of all ages. Love that it's open 24/7 and the saunas a huge perk. If it matters to anyone, I'd say most members here range from moderate to experienced. Not a lot of comp lifters, but not people wandering looking for something to do either.
Shelby Lynn Graves: Horrible customer service, won’t allow you to cancel your membership after attempting multiple points of contact. And after checking through my back account they recently charged me almost triple the normal price with no notice whatsoever - do not join, they only care about trying to get as much money as possible.
Austin Rife: Honestly would not go if you’re serious. Owner has been rude on both encounters with him. They don’t allow chalk, but for some reason offer several different bars to use. Powerlifters or anyone competing in powerlifting, this is definitely not for you. The next step up from ymca and doesn’t offer day passes. Definitely needs improvement
Jonathan Raber: I had an extremely unprofessional encounter with the owner and an employee. I was told to put a shirt on at while working out (which in fine misunderstandings happen) but the worker was clearly having some type of roid rage because he was 100% trying to stair me down. I asked if I could see this rule written down and he further continued the attitude in saying that “I’m gonna call the owner and he’s gonna terminate your membership”. Overall a completely unprofessional and unnecessary way to talk to a member. That employee should have been told to talk to members with respect but unfortunately the owner sees his average gym as a “private member club” when in reality it’s one step ahead of an anytime fitness. Overall I wouldn’t recommend just for unprofessionalism and disrespect of the owners and employees. Nobody should be threatened with there membership being terminated over wanted to see a rule written down.
Indy Girl: My wife and I went to see about their membership. No one was at the desk so we rang the bell, we waited 10 miba for the girl to come and she said the Belk didn't ring. We heard the bell ring when we pushed it, she pushed it and it also rang. The no longer have a kids area so this is not a gym for parents that don't have a places to drop their kids off while they work out
Maggie Frisby: Mei fitness is a wonderful gym. My boyfriend and I go everyday and we are always greeted by friendly staff! At this gym, people go HARD but it’s so inspirational. No one at this gym has ever made me feel like I shouldn’t be there. They keep the gym very clean, there is a tanning bed in the woman’s restroom that can be used during staffed hours and there is a sauna that is available to everyone! Go get fit!
vuhsace: Yes this gym is on the pricey side … but here’s why I think it’s worth it.1. People here get to work. This is not VASA or Planet Fitness where you have people sitting on their phones at the machines showing off. You can lift and workout however you want.2. It’s rarely ever busy. Best part. I feel I always have the gym to myself. When I was at Planet Fitness and VASA… there was never room to sit in the sauna, never a machine available, people texting their boo thing and having convos at the machines when others want to work out, free food to promote judgement free zone, and not even an available locker. Yes I would even see people eating snacks on planet fitness machines.I come in here and get my workout done efficiently everyday.3. Small gym feels like a family. Not always trying to sell you stuff. You feel like you’re part of a club where everyone is determined to get better and motivates you. Everyone here knows how to workout and you can see results.4. Legitimately open 24/7 anytime any day with your card
DPMusicStudio: I edited this review, because there were some changes made recently. Gave it another star.Been a member for three years, and I love this gym.You rarely have to wait for a machine.I do have a few small gripes. For instance... Used to have a tanning bed… it broke and it’s been 18 months. No replacement. Talked to owner. Stonewalled. They replaced for the women, not the men. Guess we guys don’t need our Vitamin D replenished during the long winter.Members often compliment the fact that equipment gets circulated out… but that’s actually an issue if the removed machine is replaced with something of lesser quality. Perfect example is the leg press machine on the middle row of machines … the replacement is inferior.Positives… this place is always super clean. Lots of niche machines that you can’t find at nearby VASA fitness. Sauna is super hot… most clubs don’t heat their sauna enough to be effective. Thanks to the staff and team.
Darren Sexton: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityBriel was so helpful in explaining the entire process and showing me all around the gym. I love the gym and the atmosphere. Looking forward to working out here! I would definitely recommend Mei Fitness. Best place and people in Southport.
J: Employees always talking on their phones or having headphones in, creates real disconnect from guest when you walk in. Guess music and talking to friends is more important than guest relations.
Nick Sopcic: Being new to the area it was a little challenging trying to find a gym that really fit my needs.Even though I live downtown the pricing and amenities offered by MEI are really just too good to pass up.I have been a member since I moved to Indy and I have to say it really has one of the best gym environments I have experienced over the last 8 years. The weights have a great range from starting weights to extremely heavy (about 120, maybe 150), cardio equipment is pretty standard for a gym, nothing spectacular but good enough with some treadmills and stair steppers as well as some other machines. All of the weight machines are relatively new and great for new or advanced weight lifters.Overall this is a great gym to be a member of, and even worth the 15 - 20 minute drive from the circle downtown if that is where you live.
Alec Rohr: Best gym in terms of having plenty of equipment and overall experience. No commitment on your agreement is the best when most other gyms lock you in for a year or two or charge outrageous prices for a no commitment agreement
Ashley Tucher: I have been to quite a few gyms and none of them can hold a candle to the Mei Fitness gyms. The dedication and true compassion Mel has for his gym family is immeasurable. The equipment is top notch and always being updated, repaired or replaced with the next best thing. Not only is the equipment the best, the facility is the cleanest (professional cleaning crew in often as well) — which gives everyone peace of mind during these times. The environment is absolutely amazing as well. Everyone is friendly, happy to help and just there to push themselves right alongside you. If you have questions, need a spotter or help with a machine, a gym fam member is right there. Mel, the owner is also often seen sweating it out with us — which I can’t honestly ever say I’ve seen at previous gyms I frequented. Personal trainers? Yep they’ve got them too!I truly cannot say enough great things about this gym that I now call home.P.S. it’s also the Breaking Benjamin music for me, LOL.
Hope Frost / Watkins: I work at the salon next store, my car had a flat tire and a man at the front desk came to help me change out the tire. I am so incredibly grateful and am so impressed by the customer service and friendly staff. I just moved here from Texas so it is very nice to see/receive such kindness. I feel terrible for not remembering your name but thank you so very much for your help today!
Jon Prater: Worst possible place you can go if you’re a fat cell. Been to Keystone, Fishers, and Southport locations. Hands down one of the best training facilities you’ll ever go and the absolute cleanest. Not a spot of rust in the place and the equipment is always top notch. Kudos to Mel and the staff as I’ve never had an issue with any of them. Super friendly place to get your gains. 10/10 would recommend.
Mary Bielata: Mel is always adding new equipment and adding on to existing pieces. He fixes broken equipment in record time and the facility is always extremely clean, something I never experienced at big box gyms. There's plenty of room and weights to workout however you want. The sauna is great quality one of the hottest I've ever been in. Best gym in Indy
Liz Ayala: Most amazing Gym! Always clean, great environment, awesome equipment and the owner really cares about the members. My favorite!!!
Katee Callahan: Love this gym. The owner really takes care of it and puts money back into the gym with lots of upgrades and keeps it very clean. Tons of options for free weights and cardio. Love MEI!!!

Livrite Fitness: what do users think?
Tom Hulbert: Awesome gym. Great staff. It’s clean. Pricing is wonderful. Really like it
Randy Young: Literally the perfect gym
The Dining Grandpa: This place is larger than it looks. Nice indoor pool just an all-around good facility, very clean and professionally run.
Michael Arnett: WAY bigger inside than it looks from the outside, with excellent equipment of every kind and a very helpful staff. Highly recommended!
Holly Witkowski: Perfect low-key environment with tools you need for success.
Paul Norris: Good gym, Excellent layout. Basically most of what you need. A couple of machines I always wished they had :Bring back the Smith machine. Ideal for certain lifts!A leg press machine lying on the back instead of sitting upright. Not a great angle for the knees.
Dawn Hutchinson: Awesome 😎
David Carter: Staff are very helpful. People that were friendly. Facility was very clean
Marilyn Jenkins: Love the newly refurbished pool.
Jeffry Goecke: It's a perfect neighborhood gym. They always are friendly and make you feel welcome 😁Love the newly redone pool.
Steve R: I love their machines because most have built in fans. Their music is not always my favorite but at least they don’t play it as loud as most places so you can block it out with your own music.
Terry DeBoo: Great staff, clean, well equipped, and friendly members.Terry
Mark Laker: I have been a ember for over 20 yearsVery comfortable place with good machines and an excellent poolStaff is first rate
PJ Stevens: I called 2 weeks ago and never received a call back.☹️
Sherry Ross: Yoga ballet class is so fun!!
Judy Brooks: Its was a very nice experience on my tour the employee was very informative and friendly membership price was great..I joined 👍
Alfred Weems III: A lot of new changes at Indianapolis facility. I can't wait to take advantage of aqua fit classes again.
Dean Ford: 40 minutes on treadmill
Carol Flynn: Dirty facility
Ganson Salmon: Feels like home. And they just got all new equipment, which makes paying for the already-cheap memebership even easier. Always great rapport with the staff and other gym-goers, doesnt feel like your run of the mill chain gym that has way too many “gym bros” and is crowded. If you want to come to a quiet gym with great equipment and a good vibe, come through

Bovert “Lamez13” Cheeto: Great gym good ppl
Truly_ Mess: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Alec Rohr: A good place to go if you need a quick workout day or night. Never too crowded and has right equipment for a good workout
Antwan Davis: Needs to update equipment and add some to be more competitive with other gyms
Jonathan Butler: Great gym. Cant wait to go through the journey of getting in shape
Mariah Ren3e: Every month it's something new with my payment. There's either an extra $10/$20 charge on top of my payment and all I want is to talk to someone that can tell me why this is. But every month I get no answer when I call this center and they don't return your calls neither. I called the Greenwood location to try to get help but they can't even look me up because I'm signed up with this center! This is so frustrating I will NOT be signing another year with the Madison location, they obviously don't care. ANSWER YOUR PHONE!!!
Jacob Scheid: Three entire weeks I've been attempting to get in contact with the staff.3 weeks ago I called 3 times, left a voicemail each time and sent an email. 2 weeks ago I stopped by and there was a sign on the door stating "No staff this week". This week I sent another email and haven't recieved a call back or an email back to help resolve my issue.I work during the typical staffing hours and can't always come in. Called another club to see if they could cancel my account, unfortunately they don't have the authority since I'm set up at this club. I've never had any issues with other clubs. I was forced to switch to this club when the Thompson Rd club shut down. I pay $35 a month to have no staff.... wonderful.Edit: stopped by on 04/29/2021.. sign still stands "no staffed hours this week, call to make an appointment" yet I can't even make an appointment because NO ONE WILL GET IN CONTACT WITH ME.
William Roberts: I love it. It's almost like my own personal gym. It's a 24 hour gym. I workout during the early mornings and late, late nights. It's has everything you need, plus more, for a good workout.
Michael Law: Bathrooms are typically a bit low on soap, paper towels, etc. Gym could be much cleaner overall. Floor in the back room is always dirty. Other than routine cleaning for floors and mirrors (the mirrors are always smeared) the gym is great. This is one of my favorite Anytime locations.
Zac Crawford: Not quite as nice as the other ones. Impressed with the cardio area where there is gym flooring. Good place to do yoga and stretching.
Ben Canary: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityHad a complicated billing issue that I was unable to resolve on my own and Alec reached out and handled it for me on the spot. Trustworthy business and clean gym, if you live nearby I would recommend.
Kerry Little: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityGreat staff and top notch facility! Everything you need to get in a great workout, no matter your level of experience, or your style of workout. Fresh newer facility with numerous amenities. Never any problem finding a machine, or equipment available.
Joe C: Great gym to work out at. Wide variety of equipment and plenty of space
Bella Opal: Good place
Ian Smith: Anything you need at anytime most places. Enough said
Fredrick Moore: If you are looking for a gym that stays open 24hrs a day with good workout equipment this is it low cost, friendly and your membership includes every anytime fitness
David Ditchley III: Not much equipment at all, small facility. For $15 extra you could get LA Fitness which blows this facility out of the water or get basically the same for $10 at planet fitness. The personal trainers give basic workouts and the contracts are a trap. If more than 2 people are there good luck benching/squatting either. Awful gym for the money it costs to have a membership here
Chase Golden: I'm here 5 days a week with the late afternoon crowd. Everyone is pretty polite, and the staff is always willing to help. The equipment is well placed, and there's free weights for days, unlike "some gyms." Like every other American, I wish it was bigger.
Humberto Oviedo: Es excelente me encanta tiene todas las máquinas todos los equipos se los recomiendo al 100%
