Urban meditation: what do users think?
K: A group of us went for the first time and had a great experience! The video they sent beforehand was helpful on what to expect. The lava floor is amazing and the crystals and essential oils were great. The voice in the guided meditation could have been more soothing but that's my only complaint if I'm nitpicking.
Beulah Okonkwo: Not tailored to individual meditation preference. I want to work on my root chakra, no specific day for that. They provide for a group meditation experience therefore it's not for me!
Claudia Varga: LOVE Urban Meditation! They help me stay relaxed and centered, and the team is very warm and welcoming. A must-do if you're in the Keystone area.
Amber Mitchell: Relaxing environment
Craig Hall: I randomly stopped by the shop while out and my daughter wanted a candle (58 dollars). Being dad I bought it for her. The person ringing me out told me they only send reciepts to email. I did not want to give out my email but they insisted I would not recieve anything other than the reciept and they would make sure I was not on the list to recieve advertisments. WELL what do you know, every DAY sometimes twice a day. I requested to be taken off the list but just get ignored. I will find as many sites as I can to warn people about purchasing from this place. 58 dollars for a candle and a lifetime of getting my email box flooded.... Thanks for the karma, hope you like mine.
Mellina Ewing: This place is amazing! I come here with friends when we want to have a relaxing girls day or just to unwind after work. And their customer service is always top notch!
Ashley Kohlhof: This is where I dump all if my bad energy. I come with my crystals, I choose a spot in the meditation room, lay on your back/side/belly or even sit up. YES you can choose any of these even though most everyone lays down. If the floor is a little too hot for you I suggest you grab a blanket for the area you find it a bit hot. Just get comfortable and center yourself in inner peace. ✨️
Lorenzo Moore: Nice place!!!
Abby Kidwell: Wayyyyyy too expensive
Michell Richardson: I have been going for a month, never realized how much this would help me.
Rebecca B.: Positive:Professionalism,Qualityit was a wonderful experience! i loved the atmosphere and ambiance.
Tiffany Olmstead: I can't say enough good things about Urban Meditation! I was invited to a class by a friend and I was instantly hooked. I have never been able to clear my mind, but the warm floor and guided meditation definitely helped relax me to a point that I have never experienced before. I ended up doing the week pass and I ended up going every single day during that time. (Side note: I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts and am NOT a morning person, but I look forward to going and waking up early doesn't feel like a chore). I ultimately decided to get the year pass and I am so glad I did because I honestly feel so much more relaxed and able to handle stressors in my daily life. Tina is very knowledgeable and has been so helpful with my million questions and even went so far as to make me my own kit with the oils I requested. Jasmine is also very helpful and her calm demeanor relaxes you from the instant you start talking to her. I'm so glad I was introduced to Urban Meditation, as I can already feel the positive changes in my life and can't wait to see my progress in the next few months!
Hannah Hawkins: The staff is super friendly, but I got sold a fake crystal for $20. To anyone new to crystal, when you sit them down and pick them up, they should always be cold on your skin no matter how many times. The temp of the one I purchased stayed room temperature. I compared them to the crystals I have at home, and it’s a fake. Crystals there are overpriced and Fake. Please be aware , but I enjoy the meditations they provide.
Samantha Smith (sam): This new shop opened up. I was so excited to check it out. I walked in and the sales lady was snobby. Didn't say hello just hawkeyed me. I wanted to browse but I did not feel comfortable to do so. She made me feel like she thought I was there to steal their expensive gems. This place is highly expensive too so I just made my purchase and left.
Denedra Miles: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Lisa Myers: Positive:ProfessionalismI have been going to Urban Meditation for a few weeks now, every single day! It is amazing! The owners are so nice and accommodating. It is an amazing experience!
Emmanuel Hayes: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityThank you ladies today was truly an experience! Tina, Krisy, and Larisa are all very knowledgeable about each stone an how they're used to cleanse your body and mind. I also made a purchase not once but twice, the prices are wonderful. The decor really pulls you in it's quite remarkable.Thank you for everything!
Deborah Cornella: Best meditation experience. If you struggle to calm your mind when attempting to meditate like I do, you won't believe how quickly and easily you can reach a meditative state in this beautifully curated environment.
Jacanda Glenn: The most beautiful thing happened today! (Short Back story) I had a kid at 22, pregnancy was great, but had a traumatic delivery. That resulted in my son to have multiple strokes, seizures, and a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy. An amazing doctor told me that if I work with my son hard enough that he would be able to walk. He just turned 5 and still isn’t walking and I started losing my optimism. BUT during the mediation, I was able to see my son and myself chasing each other and laughing. And, that...that exact sight gave me back my hope. I am so thankful that I came here today! ♥️
Steve Ball: Professional, friendly staff. Absolute game changer in the mental realm of things. Anxiety bogged me down for years, but no longer. I really believe they are onto something. DEFINITELY GIVE THEM A SHOT!

Santosha School: what do users think?
Adriane Suder: I met with Pierre for an Ayurvedic consult and had a wonderful experience! I felt very seen and welcome. He was a great listener and provided a wealth of information that felt very specific to me. After our consult he also provided a summary of our meeting with his suggestions and other resources. He's been very easy to communicate with and responsive. I will definitely continue meeting with him!
Narasimha Reddy: Great place
Leanne Abramo: It's been a great experience. I love that it's not just about the physical exercise. Each class incorporates mindfulness and meditation. The teachers really help guide a novice student. It's been very welcoming! It's also easy to schedule online.
T: I have never felt so welcomed at a yoga studio before! The moment I walked in the door I felt at home.I have been an inconsistent yogi for over twenty years, taking classes here and there. I'm not flexible and forty-five years old. I've always felt a little out of place at yoga studios. I have never felt that way at Santosha! The teachers are kind, patient and non-judgemental. They offer so many classes and lots of other services/products as well. This place is the real deal, such good energy! Try it, you won't regret it!
Max Williams: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityShiela is a great massage therapist. She is very capable in analyzing imbalances and doing what it takes to correct them. She is a great asset to me as I continue to be a runner late in life.
Shona Craig: I am a physical therapist and yoga teacher. I did some yoga and Ayurveda training with Pierre in Richland, WA. He and Santosha School offers some of the best and most authentic trainings around - life changing, really. I am forever grateful.
Linda M Marler: When I recently broke my radius , I practiced the relaxation techniques (esp. "alternate nostril breathing") that I learned in yoga, both in the ER and after surgery. I was able to manage the pain without drugs! My thanks to Santosha and my wonderful instructors, Sheila and Jo! And, I'm so glad to be back!
Tracey Burton: Great 1st experience!! Had a private session with Kathy and she was amazing! Would definitely recommend!!
T Ruth: The best yoga studio in Indy!! The teachers are all very welcoming, encouraging and knowledgeable. Everybody from beginner to advanced yogi will love this place!
Kit Palanca-Beveridge: I’m so happy I decided to have our surprise office Christmas party activity here. I brought a staff of 12 people and ALL enjoyed the YOGA AND THAI-YOGA MASSAGE experience tremendously. I especially enjoyed the personalized attention and care that Kathy Busso did from the very first time I spoke to her. She was very attentive and helpful and kept in touch with me so well throughout the process. The activity space was just perfect- both spacious and serene/inviting. Kathy and her girls provided the best Thai-Yoga massages. Kathy is just a wonderful person and I intend to continue seeing her for regular yoga and massage and I can’t wait to share my experience with my entire family. Thank you so much!
Valerie Yeager: I've been having bodywork at Santosha with Shelia and I'm so thankful that a friend connected me with her! She's really gifted and her knowledge and holistic approach to the body is exactly what I was hoping to find after moving to Indianapolis. Indy is lucky to have someone like Shelia and the expertise she provides in Ayruveda at the Santosha School.
Julie Guenther: Santosha is a beautiful shala! From the moment I walked in I felt at home. Everyone I have met is very friendly and welcoming! Truly a beautiful atmosphere! I am so glad to be a part of the wonderful yoga community here!
Bianca Smith-Benedict: What a beautiful facility. Amazing teachers and such friendly caring people. I love taking yoga classes here.
Jay Wehmeier: I am in yoga teacher training and learning more than I planned on. My teachers are TOP NOTCH and concerned and helpful. The studies are wide ranging. Not just the poses, but much much more. You are welcome any Wednesday night for ($5.00) community class, at 6:00 PM. Join our yoga class and watch the teacher trainees as their skills grow. Stay afterwards as the teacher trainees evaluate the teaching experience. Peace and Love Jayw
Dawn B: Sheila is a wonderful massage therapist!
Yvonne Noland: I've been fortunate enough to watch the studio grow over the years and every year the community and teachers keep getting better!
Dan & Melissa Moran: Starting yoga well into my 40's wasn't easy: there were many tangles and kinks to work out, physically and otherwise. Santosha School has been a welcoming place to roll out my mat and work through it all, guided and encouraged by some of the most experienced and caring souls I know. After several years of practice here, I enrolled in the teacher training program and am now growing my practice in another way. I feel so much better - physically, mentally and spiritually. And now my family has joined in the yoga goodness too!
Essence Mack: I have been attending classes at Santosha for nearly a year and can say the classes and community are such a beautiful presence in my life! It is such a warm and safe space to practice.
Brian Kent: I have been going to Santosha regularly for the past 6 weeks and I always leave feeling better than when I arrive. I'd never been to a yoga class in my life before walking in and noted the staff have been incredibly welcoming of practitioners of all abilities. The staff are extremely friendly/welcoming and have the ability to transfer their deep knowledge and understanding of yoga with humility. The school carries such a positive energy and has a feeling of entering an old friends household rather than a workout studio. Whether you're brand new yoga like me or deep into your practice, I'd highly recommend!
Yilin Liu-Leitke: Santosha is not just a yoga studio, it’s also a temple, a community, a peaceful place in the city.
Karma Hamm: Santosha is my favorite yoga studio in all of Indianapolis. There is a deep underlying current of tradition and spirituality and healthiness that is wonderfully balanced with the fun upbeat energy of the classes and teachers there. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. I always feel I am exactly where I need to be when I am there and after class I am always glad I carved out time in my day for taking care of myself through yoga practice. I can't recommend Santosha enough for all levels of yogis. Also- massages with Shiela are other-worldly! :) She has a very intuitive gift and always knows exactly what my body needs to restore and relax.

DeVona Lahrman: Find your laughing Buddha here!
Scott Trout: Services are in English, except for the use of Sanskrit mantras. The Teacher and congregation are very friendly.
Amy: I've attended weekend workshops at the Castleton location and meditation classes at various locations and have always had a rewarding experience.Wonderful, welcoming teachers and staff.
Erin West: Beautiful welcoming place.
Hillary Wilmer: I attended the 'COMMENTARY AND PRACTICE OF THE 35 CONFESSION BUDDHAS'. I am so glad I went. This was a great session. The presentation was easy to follow and relevant to anyone. Gen Dorje incorporated humor which added such a warmth to the atmosphere. This location isn't on my side of town but I will travel out there again.
Rj: Peaceful
Brad: This place is wonderful. If you plan to attend regularly become a member it's a no brainer. They offer some free classes but normally expect to pay $12. Really great people here.
Ingrid Upchurch: Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. If you are looking for a good place to attend guided meditation or learn about Buddhism. This is a great place to go.
Tyler Ring: This is a great place to go to help me keep my focus on growing & expanding spiritually. It’s a modern zen center, with a Buddhist monk that makes you feel right at home here! I’m so glad I found this place. I love it...
Michele Greenan: A wonderful place to go. Great people, great atmosphere - so welcoming!
Jenny Owens-Cripe: The people at this center are very welcoming. Each time I walk in I can't help but feel peace & happiness & I just smile! I love it here!
S Vlogs: Love the center and the people! The teachers are authentic and the classes are plentiful. We are so fortunate to have such a great place to come together and practice pure Dharma. I feel like the teachings have made a huge impact on my life. I highly recommend the center to anyone interested in creating a better life for themselves!
Tracey Van Gundy: The most fulfilling and peaceful days of my life are often spent here at KMC Indianapolis. I began coming two years ago, originally driving almost an hour and a half to get here. I have since moved into Indianapolis, and am now very active with the center, and even teach a weekly class on Sunday mornings. The warm and friendly atmosphere, the beauty of the teachings, and the sincerity of the practitioners made my move to a new city feel like coming home for this country girl.
Gen Wangden: DKBC is a wonderful place to go, whether you are just wanting to relax, or you are interested in the Buddhist Path.
Will Smith: Dromtonpa was a famous Buddhist practitioner and teacher of great purity in Tibet around 900 years ago. Dromtonpa was a little unusual in the he was a lay practitioner - he was not an ordained monk. Our teacher, Mandy Vickery, is also a lay practitioner and has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years. Her kindness, caring, warm heart as well as her wit and wisdom make her a very practical and approachable teacher indeed.Dromtonpa Center has been named after this particular practitioner by Geshe Kelsang to emphasize the Kadampa teachings; teachings of great purity which are easy to put into practice and give great results very quickly, especially with our busy modern lives.Dromtonpa Center has a very relaxed atmosphere. Most of the classes and prayers are drop-in. Most are part of a series yet are presented to stand alone as personal advice. This advice has improved my life and happiness immensely. Every year I see my Sangha friends become happier and have more personal power - this is the real deal. If you are looking for authentic Buddhist teachings or just to become a happier person and improve your relationships etc. then find a class online and/or call and just drop-in. Don't worry, it won't be weird, I promise!Meditation gives great results for Buddhist and non-Buddhists alike. Everybody welcome.

CITYOGA School of Yoga and Health: what do users think?
Jessica Thomas: Unfortunately I had to stop going to City Yoga due to their terrible cancelation policy. Note, if you book a class and need to cancel for any reason - even days before the class - they will not credit you that class. All sales since February 20th are final and considered a donation to the studio if you cannot attend.
Kimberly Hart: This is one of my favorite places in Indianapolis to practice yoga. I experienced excellent teachers and a beautiful sense of community. I highly recommend it.
Steve E: With so many great options for yoga in Indianapolis, I would suggest you are far more likely to have a positive experience elsewhere.
kathy zoppi: Thank you for a great class today, Kiana.I truly appreciated your teaching and gentle guidance!!Cityoga is wonderful, clean space, thoughtful teachers, accessible and fun.
Elizabeth Birmingham: Critical:Communication,Professionalism
kathy myers: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityJoined a class while in town visiting, staff was very kind in scheduling, Erica was patient and encouraging to my beginner practice
Laura Riggan Feltner: Normally, I would give this place a better rating and used to consider it my favorite studio. However, the communication is not good. I paid for a workshop that included a book. I was unable to attend, as Covid came to my home. I contacted the studio on three separate attempts with leaving voice messages and sending email to ask if I could enroll in another workshop, or at the least, receive the book I paid for. I have yet to receive a response from any of my attempts, and my $70 is in the wind. While I don't expect a refund, the consideration of a response and any other options or opportunity to pick up my book would have been appreciated for my $70. I am now hesitant to sign up for anything else, as I had to save for the one I already paid for and cannot afford to pay for nothing. I hope this prompts the studio to do better by those of us who were loyal supporters.
Marlaina Killey: Fantastic yoga studio!!!
Diana Ingemanson: This place consistently offers a wide range of yoga. My first restore yoga class last night with Andrea, was just what my mind and body needed. I found space within my body that I didn't know had tightened up. Breathing into spaces
A Hodges: So glad to be back!
Shaun Blair: CitYoga has the BEST vibes, the best classes, community, instructors, schedule and variety I've found anywhere in Indy! Both locations are in convenient yet low traffic areas and they have classes to suit all tastes. There are several classes each day that fit my schedule so I can choose based on how I'm feeling. Some days I go to a hot class and sweat it out and other days I choose more slow, restorative options. Sometimes I'll do a class that's the perfect combination of the two. They also have a great monthly unlimited rate so some days I do both! Regardless of the level of the class, there's always space to breathe deeply, zero judgment and a welcoming feel. The rooms and staff are accommodating and parking is free and abundant. Two of my favorite after work wind-downs are Tara's Restorative Flow on Tuesdays at 5:30 and Randi's Stress Relief on Wednesdays at 6:00. Both are at the 64th & Hoover location which is a beautiful sanctuary ideal for nurturing yourself. The Central Ave location reminds me of my first yoga home in California with its clean, spacious rooms and community feel. I love that the teachers are diverse, their classes offer variety and they encourage me to take care of my individual needs!! Finally, I have found a local studio where I can really bReAThE in my practice and make my flow my own while being supported, guided and inspired. The owner, Dave, teaches classes and teacher trainings and he truly practices what he teaches. I feel very fortunate to have found this studio.
Keri Brantley: EDITED: I'm happy to report that a lovely employee (Erica) of City Yoga called me shortly after I posted this review. She could tell I was frustrated and was not going to let me hang up before making the situation right. (Originally, I was told I would have to make a three month commitment if I were to purchase a New Student Unlimited Month pass). She asked me to let her call the owner, who informed her they had just changed their policy and that I could indeed purchase the pass. Last evening, not only was I able to purchase my pass, I was able to attend a Stress Relief yoga class (my mat, right next to Erica) taught by Lisa Daughtery, which was fantastic! I'm anxious to try out more classes at this studio!_________________I would love to tell you about my experience here… However, I’ve been calling for the last three days and have left two voicemail messages and no one has called me back. I have a gift certificate to redeem that I received for my 50th birthday. Sadly, they must be busy enough they don’t need my patronage.
Amy Courtney: I think this is the best studio in the city!! They clearly care deeply about the practice of yoga (many class types, classes/workshops, also meditation). They have fantastic teachers and class offerings. I especially recommend the Friday night hot yoga class! Lisa D is fabulous!!
Laurie Sutter: I’ve taken the Sunday morning Kundalini Yoga classes and highly recommend it to those who are beginners or experienced. Such a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere to raise your vibration! 💗
Amy Ward: My beloved CITYOGA! I have been learning and growing in my practice here for over two years. Throughout my time here, I have tried several other local yoga studios and I keep coming back. There is just something here- great community, sound teaching and technique, convenient class times and good seasonal deals on class passes. My favorite instructors are Adrienne and Lisa D, but there are so many great teachers with diverse class offerings. I've read some reviews about their experience not being beginner friendly or what they hoped for. I'd encourage any new yogi to call and ask for good classes to try. And definitely let your instructor know your newish. I have always found them to be accommodating. If you try a class that you don't like, pick another one. They have the best new member rate around so you can try them all!
Roger Moore: This afternoon, I had the great fortune of taking a three (3) hour yoga, meditation, and wellness workshop at City Yoga. It workshop was led by Dave, who also happens to be the studio's owner. It was my first time at the studio as well as learning techniques for mediation. It was amazing! Dave was very knowledgable and personable. He made the three hours go by so fast. I enjoyed the guided practice, the positive energy of participants, and the studio space. I feel great and definitely plan to return. If you are looking for a great experience, make sure you check out City Yoga!
Audra McClelland: Spacious studio with multiple class rooms and a nice lobby. The Sunday morning kundalini class is my favorite!
Christine Hudson: Cityoga is my favorite place in Indy to practice! The classes and teachers are diverse enough to encompass different styles of yoga, different tastes and preferences and varying fitness levels. If I'm in the mood for a traditional, quiet, contemplative practice, I can do that. If I'm in the mood for a loud, intense and sweaty workout, I can do that too! The monthly and holiday themed pricing specials are great and the $10 community classes on Sundays make it accessible to everyone!
Matt Gindhart: Great place to do yoga
Janet Nabring-Stager: Visited this studio while in Indy for work and was very pleased with the class I attended. I think the instructor was the studio owner.Very welcoming vibe, clean facility, and very nice students in the class to boot! Highly recommend.
Emma Hudelson: I've been coming to Cityoga 5-6 days a week for about eight months now, and it has been deeply rewarding on a spiritual and physical level. I wound up settling on Ashtanga for my daily practice, but they offer a wide variety of classes, including hot yoga and Kundalini, and they bring in internationally-recognized names for workshops and events. It is refreshing that there is a local studio that offers traditional classes taught the same way they would be in India. They offer competitive package pricing, a welcoming environment, and a vibrant community of friendly yogis. As a bonus, I have gotten nonstop compliments on my "Michelle Obama arms" since I started classes there...so much for yoga erasing the ego!

Yogaworx: what do users think?
Melissa Vare: I began my yoga journey at YogaWorx several years ago, while seeking to reduce stress during a difficult time in my life. Barb is knowledgeable, kind and has a very calming demeanor. Her studio and students are warm and welcoming. I feel blessed to know Barb and cannot recommend YogaWorx highly enough!
Suzi wagman: First, the the fact that i have been a student of Barb's for 19 ish years does say something! i stopped for a bit because i was very stiff and in pain and then it dawned on me that i i was too stiff NOT to go back to yoga!! i recall walking in with a limp and walking out of class WITHOUT one. Barb is a great educator about life and health and gives permission for us not to be in competition with anyone and to modify what is needed to suit our body at that moment. Barb walks her talk..We also get to laugh! i have always felt that if someone found their way to Barb,, then they would not have to look further for a teacher!
Meg: Barbara is a wonderful teacher, kind and encouraging. She knows and respects yoga, and it is fun to practice with her. Thanks, Barbara!
Jeanie Bollei-Moore: Barbara is an amazing yoga instructor. I have been taking her classes since 2006. All my life I'd had chronic back problems. Even as a child it hurt to shop with my mom because slow walking through stores was excruciating. After years of physical therapy ordered by orthopedic doctors--and later--years of chiropractic therapy, I was still in pain. Within months of taking Barbara's classes, my back pain disappeared. If it slips out of place, I do a pose or two she has taught me and I am fine again. She allows students to practice at their own levels. I couldn't stand on one foot, much less do a "tree" when I first started. I am now, at age 65, more flexible than I have ever been. Most importantly, I rarely get sick. My immune system has incredibly strengthened. Nothing is different in my life other than yoga practice. I had no idea these bonus benefits would occur.Additionally, Barbara is knowledgeable about many things that encourage good health. I have learned so much from her.I recommend her friendly and inviting classes to everyone!--Jeanie B
jeananne libbert: Barb is one of the most knowledgeable yoga instructors around. She is devoted to passing along her passion for yoga, and years of experience, to everyone who steps into her studio. She provides a peaceful, welcoming space, filled with positive energy and friendly people. Yogaworx classes are idea for everyone - beginner to the most advanced.
Ginny Hacker: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI cannot praise Barbara more highly! I have been taking instruction from her for over 10 years and it has changed my (back) life. A couple of yoga lessons I have learned: "This isn't a competition." "If it hurts, don't do it."
Becky Troyer: I have been with Barbara for over 20 years. Yes, I have gone to many other classes, but hers are the ones I love the best. She has a calm centered being and a very deep knowledge of not just yoga poses, but also philosophy. Her class is more than what you would find in the average yoga studio.
GrandMa GrandDad Park: Barbara is the best, no matter what your level or flexibility, she makes sure you feel welcome as a newcomer and challenges you as a student. I'd recommend her class to anyone!
gary chavers: As a yoga teacher, I love taking classes at Yogaworx. I always learn something new. Barbara has created a warm and joyful atmosphere at her studio. She teaches with profound depth of knowlege of yoga and how the human body works.
Jim Harper: I have take classes with Barbara Kennedy for many years. Her classes are great for yogis of various levels of ability and experience. Yoga has changed my life and helped me with many obstacles through the years. I highly recommend Barbara.
Carol Flynn: I have happily attended Barb's class for a few years. I always feel spiritually renewed after class. She is able to give individual attention to each student. I love the wisdom of her years of teaching. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Richard Gould: I have practiced yoga with Barbara for 15 years. Yoga and Barbara changed my life. She helped me escape from pain and prescriptions for arthritis. I have observed Barbara work with all student skill levels and keep a careful eye on individual needs. I have practiced yoga with different instructors and in different countries. I still rate her the best.
Kay Piotrowicz: I’ve been taking yoga classes with Barb since 2001 and have enjoyed every minute of every class. I currently take the Wednesday evening class to break up my week with meditation, relaxation and poses and always feel refreshed and energized after her classes. She is a fabulous instructor that is knowledgeable and so informative. Highly recommend Yogaworx Indy to all who want to experience yoga at any level from beginning to advanced!
Alix Litwack: Yoga classes with Barb are a mixture of fun and learning. Her teaching style is gentle as well as informational—helping each student create the practice that is best for them. Barb is full of yoga wisdom & love. My corpse pose is getting better and better with every class!

The Playful Soul: what do users think?
Charlotte T: It's difficult to find and I would say that this is more of a yoga space or something than a crystal shop or a retail shop. The offerings are small and limited and high in price. The lady working there smiled at me when I walked it but I got "what are you doing here" vibes from other people in the small space. It was anxiety inducing so I left immediately.
Katharine Daniels: The Playful Soul is such a beautiful healing space. The practitioners are so friendly and gifted and I found many unique items in the shop. I highly recommend!
Julie Clymer: While it was difficult to find, I called and Laura quickly directed me there. The energy was high and she was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. I purchased some stones, candles, incense and sage and found the prices reasonable. I wish they had more; however, Laura shared they have a bazaar the first Saturday of every month. Will definitely return.
Carly Cummings: The playful soul is my favorite place to get crystals!!! Great people & great atmosphere! I always leave with a smile on my face, I’d recommend this place to anyone!
Meghan Vale: Beautiful place. Beautiful people.
rebecca smithson: Such an amazing shop!! Everything a spiritual practitioner could need and more. Got a tarot reading from Larry and could not be more impressed. He was spot on. Also very direct but kind. The other staff member (i can't remember her name) who helped us find everything was super nice and though new, was very knowledgeable. She even helped us find a place for lunch, which we also loved! Will definitely be back! Especially for their bazaars!!
Eddie Clark: Great place. Good inventory as well.
Jasmine Hobson: Small, but had a lot to offer and the workers were very nice and helpful.
Laura Deluca: An oasis of crystals and spiritual tools, staffed with some of the most talented herbalists, psychics, and shaman in the area. A true staple for those who love meditation, decor and everything in between. Make sure to stop by the interior design gallery that’s attached!
Joey Sparks: I met with Yale for a palmistry reading and to talk astrology in general. Yale is very kind, clear and concise! His reading offered me a lot of clarity into my own energy and the direction that would be most beneficial for my growth in the future. It provided much reassurance. Moreover, I've found an excellent community to seek advice from in regards to the spiritual aspects of life. Will definitely return! Thank you Yale!
Abi Jarrett: This place is one of my favorite places ever. The energy that hits you as soon as you walk in is incredible. I feel like I'm walking into a spiritual car wash for my body and soul!! Lol. Everyone who works there is really lovely and helpful. Thanks, The Playful Soul!
Jeffrey Clay: I have been in twice. Energy towards me was off. The first time I went, the white bald head guy behind the counter gave me the craziest look. Didn’t say hi, come in or anything. The energy is completely off. They treated me as if I was bothering them. So I just looked at a few things and left. Went in today. I didn’t know they were closed. The door was open. Same guy and a woman walked past us and said, “do they know we are closed “ super rude and again bad energy. If you are closed then why is the door open? And there was a better way to tell me and my friend you were closed. I will never be back and or recommend this location.
advj !: The energy wasn’t comforting or welcoming. No staff was outside in the shop and other customers gave me rude looks when I was just looking at crystals.
Eli Slater: Love the atmosphere!
Charlie Schackmuth: Despite being a relatively small store, they have a good range of crystals, cleansing tools, jewelry, meditation materials, and more! The employees were also really nice!
EJ LaFleur: Visit and be blessed
Charity Wimmer: Love the energy here, it smells very peaceful, they have all your spiritual needs from Oracle decks, tarot, sage, Palo Santo wood, they even have real Myrr, Copal, Frankincense. They have homemade jewelry, and trinkets. They offer Reiki, yoga, readings and a whole lot more.
Chief Lawson: Love this place
jasmine nicole: This is an absolutely magical place I am in love with the fact there is something which can speak to everyone from every culture along with providing education to assist with the spiritual experience that we all crave and enjoy this store should exist in every city in America the owners have done beautiful work bringing it all together there is no wrong or right way to find the real God it must be adapted specifically to your soul that is what makes it the playful soul❤️👁️🧠🙌💓
Monica Gwaltney: Energy was just Fabulous!
S P: Really nice upscale spiritual shop. A small space with great energy. The ladies in the shop were friendly and they have different events going on. Great energy. This is easy to miss driving to with a map program. They share a building with a couple other spots and it's not obvious so pay close attention if it's your first time. It's not an easy U-turn to correct. Great energy and worth the drive from Lafayette to Indy check out.

kOMpose Yoga: what do users think?
Gena Leftridge: I had a great time..I will definitely be back ..Thank you to the instructor she was very patient..candlelight 🧘‍♀️ yoga so calming 😊
sheila bosron: Laura's 30 day meditation journey has become essential nutrients for mind, body and heart. This is a complete and easily accessible rich guide bringing me to experience an inner peace and trusted wholeness.
Brian Fisher: The studio and classes are comfortable, convenient and offer a wide variety to add to your practice. The teachers and studio staff are very welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly ..and all offer different little intricacies to learn from! The kOMpose community that grows in this environment is amazing! One of my favorite places!
Grace Hagen: kOMpose is the most friendly, welcoming, empowering, and inspiring active space I have been to. As someone who can't stand the competitive environment of a gym, kOMpose keeps me active and healthy without the stress, pressure, and comparison of the traditional gym environment. In addition, beginning a yoga practice, as opposed to other traditional workout practices, I have not only gained strength, flexibility, and endurance, but also peace of mind. I cannot say enough good things about the range of classes at kOMpose, the friendliness of all staff, and the general vibe of the space. I am so grateful to have found kOMpose. kOMpose has something for everyone.
Kristin Elliot: Phenomenal yoga studio. I just moved to the area and tried a couple before and they didn’t cut it. But KOMpose is amazing! I love all the instructors and front desk staff is incredibly friendly. Prices are good too!
Bob Walter: I've been coming here since April and I've not left a class disappointed. Every instructor has been knowledgeable and caring. The studio is always clean and cozy. The staff has been so helpful. The app is a huge plus and makes scheduling a class easy. Love it!
Blaire McReynolds: I bought a Groupon and have been loving the classes! The teachers are so wonderful!
Karen Schaefer: I started attending classes at KOMpose in January 2019 and I LOVE IT. The instructors are fantastic- their calm voices help you relax. The facility is impeccable and that is very important to me. The girls at the front desk are always friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work! Namaste!
Tina Sherlock: I wrote the review below, about one year ago and I'd like to update it now. I am so incredibly grateful for Kompose Yoga. The studio and class opportunities have expanded. There are even more opportuinties to find your flow and your time on your mat. Kompose is such a safe and welcoming space for yoga. The teachers are warm and technically so well trained and articulate. They make an effort to know you and find out what you're seeking in your practice. The studio is modern, chic, clean, and comfortable. (Parking in the lovely Broad Ripple Village is easy at Kompose.) The classes are so well constructed; and are cued for all levels of yogi. The studio is warm and/or heated. The yogis are all so friendly and supportive of one another. This yoga community is exactly what yoga is: for EVERYBODY. This is a yoga studio that you can (and will) call home. One year ago: (This is a lovely, serene studio with a warm and inviting owner. There are various types of flows with opportunities to enjoy your own practice. I love the hands on approach and encouragement of breath. It is nice to do a gentler form of yoga with moderate studio temperature; but you can always deepen the practice with your own interpretation. I am thrilled that Indy has this gem of a studio in the heart of broad ripple.)
Sandy Giron: Instructors are wonderful & skilled. I love my membership and grateful for this yoga community !
Liana Giles: Bought a Groupon and have really enjoyed the ease of using app to schedule a class, as well as the serenity and friendliness of instructors and front desk folks. I can see being here beyond my Groupon! - liana g
Jaymee Reynolds: I recently purchased a 6-week unlimited classes Groupon and have fallen in love with this studio! I have been so impressed with all of the instructors, who are all so welcoming and patient. kOMpose has a variety of classes (heated and non-heated) to accommodate everyone! I strongly recommend this studio!
Nhien Le: I went to my first class yesterday at Kompose and I was so impressed with the staff, the quality of the class, and the cozy ambience of the studio. The instructor introduced herself and made an effort to make me feel comfortable on my first day, which I really appreciated. They offer both heated and non heated class options, so you def have choices based on your preferences. I highly recommend this studio for your yoga needs!
Zack Waisanen: All of the teachers are amazing and I always leave feeling rejuvenated both physically and mentally.
Danka Maric: The space is very clean and comfortable and all of the staff I have interacted with is very nice. They offer a variety of classes and are very knowledgeable and great at teaching!
Jenna Rutherford: The best decision I made was to become a member at this yoga studio. A great variety of classes with amazing teachers and a fun, friendly community. Come kOMpose with us!
Liz Joss: Great and welcoming instructors, two beautiful rooms to practice in, no embarrassment no matter your level, lots of happiness, a real community.
Lisa Rae Hodge: I love everything about this studio.
Hillary Maxwell: I have been going to Kompose regularly since summer of 2018 and cannot say enough good things about this place. I was warmly welcomed by the owner, Kristine, upon my first day at the studio and could immediately tell this wasn’t a place where I was going to be judged. The philosophy at Kompose is all about empowering and respecting yourself, which you can see in how the instructors teach their classes, and I love that. They have a wide variety of classes to choose from, and the studio is very well-kept and clean. I’ve developed a community at Kompose in the last six months I’ve been going there, and it’s helped me come out of my shell. I have recommended Kompose to anyone with even a remote interest in yoga and will definitely continue to!
Jen Thomas: I can't say enough positive things about this place. The instructors are great and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It has a real neighborly feel and I always leave feeling refreshed and so glad I went. Their app is great for looking at class times and checking in to assure a spot.
Jill Chickedantz: Love this place. The atmosphere is lovely and so welcoming, and the instructors are awesome. I highly recommend to literally anyone who is interested in yoga because they really work with all levels.

The Yoga Studio: what do users think?
Jenny Owens-Cripe: I love this place! I used to go to Friday's Hot Vinyasa class regularly & continued virtually during the covid year. But this was the first time back in so long & nothing had changed. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, & wonderful! Emily taught the best class! Her flows were just what I needed & the music was spot-on. Thank you, The Yoga Studio, for being the best!!
Kaitlyn Solano: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI just recently started going here and I’m obsessed with it. I’ve done hot yoga at other studios but this one is by far my favorite.
Patrick Rubeck: In the hours spent pushing, stretching, resting & growing, yoga has given me the most profound sense of self-worth and enlightenment. At 36 I’m in the best shape of my life & wearing sizes I haven’t worn since HS. Put your ego aside & do the work, it might completely change your life.
Gundi Mueller: Best yoga studio ever!
Extremity Solutions: Positive:QualityThe Yoga Studio was an excellent place for me to get a great yoga class in. Not to mention the staff is second to none! Maggie at the front desk was more than helpful, not to mention super cute!!!
Leslie Taljaard: Love the yoga studio so much! All the teachers and staff are amazing!
Jack S: Certain teachers will “short-class” you (trim time off both ends of the class) #beware
Anna Triscari: Management isn’t great but other than that it’s great
White Willow: Best Trained Teachers In Town!
Jincy Gibson: Love it here! Welcoming teachers and great choice of classes. 👍🏼
Willie Sharpe: GREAT PLACE
David Davidson: Majestically. Epic
Shaundra Belle: I have been to a few yoga studios throughout the city and this is by far the most welcoming for any level. I have done yoga before but am not a pro by any means and the owner, teachers, and community of members are so welcoming and helpful - it really is a great environment! My fiance has never done yoga before and is trying to not just lose weight but just be a healthier person. His first time doing yoga he felt very supported in his mission - we are now unlimited members and go to classes 4-5 times a week together. This is a really great studio for anyone at any level that wants to be in a productive and positive atmosphere!
Julie Nelson: I can't tell you how daunting it was to me the first time I came to The Yoga Studio. I'm not a flexible person that is very good at turning my mind off - just to say the least. I've discovered the many misconceptions that I've had about yoga just by stepping into the front door of The Yoga Studio.Let me tell you - in just two weeks I've really fallen in love. I've bought a yoga mat, I've bought the pants - I even watch videos online to learn more.I have major back pains for years that keep me up late at night and since I've started yoga - I haven't had those pains. It's fantastic. A major relief. The instructors at The Yoga Studio are wonderful. They really care about each and every person in the class and go out of their way to make sure that you do every pose correctly - that you are constantly learning. One instructor even spoke to me about how much progress I was making - which was a major confidence builder. There is an amazing community at The Yoga Studio that I have immensely enjoyed becoming a part of. I'm so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and gave it a try. I suggest that everyone do the same!
