Here I am, at another location and he took time to help another out of state, PF staff, with adding me into their system. Since I have the extra amenities packaged membership.If corporate is looking over this review. I would give this individual a raise. He definitely deserves it. When I tell you he took time to figure out the solution to the problem. I mean he literally stayed on the phone and directed throughly with the out of state PF staff member on navigating through the system, in order to access my membership.Keep it up!Thank you again, Donald.
Aaron: Been a member off and on over the years since they first opened this location. Cancelling my membership this time due to lack of security. Had my lock broken off of my locker and money stolen from my wallet. Spoke with other members who recently had their lockers broken into as well. All staff does is fill out a complaint report and say they're sorry. If crimes are happening regularly here I think more should be done.
Hannah Hayes: Loved it! Haven't been in a long while. Today was my first day back in a gym and I'm glade I picked this one. The staff was very kind and helpful this morning and the was clean. All machine in working order too. I can't wait to go back in a couple days!

Daniel Woody: Staff are friendly and typically greet me when I come in and wish me well when I leave. Locker rooms are well cleaned and maintained so showering is a viable option. Selection of equipment and availability is very good so I can get my workout in without interruption.
Megan Larson: SUPER CLEAN and a wonderful staff. The tv's could use some repairs along with some equipment but I'm nitpicking. I love this gym.

Brandon Lynn: Great location for me. Systems that ran the tanning beds and massage chairs were down recently for 7-10 days and and air dryer in men’s locker room has been down for a month. The stationary bikes and elliptical machines are almost all missing a cup holder or two. The bikes need some maintenance as at least one seems to have a gear stripped and makes a knocking noise. Friendly staff and clean location. Overall good, just needs a little more attention to detail and TLC on equipment.

Nicole Page: The restrooms stinks and are always so dirty. Not enough paper towels and disinfectant spray. Poorly maintained.
Michael Hohe: Simple and easy check-in. Employees were very nice. Equipment was nice and clean as well as locker room. Bathroom facilities could be a bit cleaner. Any non-working equipment was clearly marked and all machines had clear instructions and were easy to use. Definitely gonna come back.

I’m a previous member at the Keystone location- they were friendly and made you feel welcome and there to assist. I’m sure I will rejoin since the location is best for me. As I walked back she was discussing our interaction with the other employee.Looking forward to good energy in 2023.
Emily Oakes: Overall, I’ve had a good experience with PF. I’ve had several different gym memberships, and PF is simply the best bang for your buck as far as just having basic equipment goes. The remodeled gyms are very nice and always clean. They do get crowded since it’s so cheap, but I always get through my workouts.
Hailey Rapp: The women’s restroom and the machines are very dirty every single time I go…! It would be different, If a couple times they were dirty I understand with staffing issues, but every single time I go they are dirty. Other then that, the staff is really friendly and super nice!

It's easy to be skeptical, maybe even dismissive, of the claim Planet Fitness makes to prevent the "gymtimidation" vibe that turns some off to certain gyms (myself included.)The staff is friendly without being obtrusive and patient with me and my litany of questions. The premium membership, I firmly believe, is worth the extra money. I've been using the hydromassage beds regularly, as well as the Total Body Enhancement machine, and even tanning booths (3 minutes at a time helps my psoriasis like you wouldn't believe.)Last but not least, not only are the staff friendly, but they laugh at my jokes, which is nice because I've got some terrible jokes. ("Like frayed paper, my jokes are tearable." -- see? I told you.) Overall, I highly recommend this location. It's awesome-sauce.Edit: three years after my initial review, I will say that the cleanliness has dropped off. An unclean gym is always gross, but especially after COVID, this is a dealbreaker for me. As much as I’ll miss the amenities that came with the premium membership (guest access, tanning, the red light therapy machine, massage beds/chairs) I can’t justify a membership anymore. I went somewhere else and I’m not sorry. PF might have a general reputation, but this location especially can feel super gross. Depending on what you’re looking for, this could be a great deal/location, but if you want a clean, safe place to work out, look elsewhere.
Steven Chase: I have been going to this specific branch on 86th and Townshipline Rd for about 6 months. Although it hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows, the owner does the best they can and cares about us as customers.You must, however, understand that this branch is a franchise and not associated with planet fitness as a whole. So the staff changes often, therefore I highly suggest that you be polite and get to know the staff at your local branch to ensure good communication. Any gripe I have could've been avoided by doing this.After a freak incident with a potentially violent gym member, they immediately banned him and offered me several months for free. I felt that they handled the situation better than most gyms I've been to in the past. So, as a result, I want to show my support with a review and my continued patronage.
Karri Woodard: I like it at planet fitness but a couple of the employees act like they are too lazy to type your phone number in.I have been going here for years and recently I lost my check in card. I do not do apps or alot of online things so no I do not have the app and have no intentions on getting it.I ask them to just type my phone number in and verify me that way. Some employees do it without hesitation, but others make a big deal...literally they are doing nothing else but talking to their coworkers!

Nancy Honaker: Employees tend to gather at desk when they could be cleaning or stocking. Paper towels will be empty and they are just gathering. Today Saturday morning should be open at 7. Still waiting at 7:40.

Gary Henderson: Overall I'm satisfied with this PF. I know it can get busy and difficult to keep clean. I think the staff does a good job in that regard on the interior. However, the exterior is filthy. The parking lot is NEVER clean and presents a very poor image of your brand. You only get one chance to make a good first impression. Please clean your lot on a regular basis.

Queen Supreme: The gym is less clean and the hours seem to change every other week. The current staff is friendly. They also at least added hangers in the women's locker rooms as well. The gym is just in bad maintenance, some parts of floor have air bubbles, and equipment needs to be replaced. Only reason I have kept membership because I am able to go to any location (which is unfortunately ALWAYS out of my way) I guess the "urban"areas get the least quality and concern because I've been to other locations in the city and they were like night and day!
Addie Robinson: The is good for working out, if you can get pass the people mainly hanging out here to get dates because they are just hanging around and not working out much. Women come in barely wearing any clothes and the men so distracted they don't work out. So for a woman coming in the gym it's hard to work out without men starting at you. Also if you try to cancel your membership here, it's next to impossible. When you sign up for the gym, you can sign up online. When you cancel you have to send them a letter. I sent an email in December asking to cancel my membership but instead I was charged twice in December and then two weeks later again. I wrote to them again in January asking them to cancel my account. There seems to be a break down somewhere because I'm not the only one who has had issues cancelling my gym membership.

C Cahill: Exceptional workout equipment, new, powerful yet easy to use. Great northwest Indy location centrally between I-465 and I-65. The staff is polite. The downside to this location is women’s bathroom- lots of dust and filthy toilets. I have been to location many of times and one bothersome thing remains- those nasty toilets.

Robert Diaz: since the new manager Yvonne has taken over you can see the good change the bottom line is you can make every happy i am member martha freije this shows up under robert diaz but he is not the member since i joined i have seen at least 3-4 managers and yvonne by far as been doing the best job on top of everything i know people complain about the size but i think thats what alot of people like about ; i do miss mackenzie she was great with the guest she knew almost every one by name and i fell Yvonne is on track of doing that also its the first of the year so almost all gyms will be packed give it a month or two and it will be back to normal and for 10.00 a month its a good deal the membership fees great compared to some gym yvonne is a very good manage and pays attention to he patrons needs assist as best can

Road Scholar: No one at front counter for over an hour. All staff cleaning showers in male locker room. Got the entire locker room smells so strong with chemicals a few people walked out with watery eyes. Cleaning showers at 10:00 am instead of off peak hours. Allowing link heads to drop weights and grunt way to loud . Worst PF I have been to yet. This is number 97/100 this year and I will not be coming back.
Chris H: Small gym, lots of under 18 kids, lots of 'guests' who don't check in. Over crowded and forced to wait 20+ minutes while teens play on their phone for free wifi rather than work out on machines. I would not have wasted my money had I known the number of children who attended this gym. Workout should be less than an hour takes me almost 2 just due to wait. Not impressed.

Jen Allen: The “Regional” manager, Dija, DISCRIMINATES towards disabled individuals.We have been members for 6 years and overall we have been happy with this gym. Recently this new employee has specifically singled out my disabled brother to harass him for personal information which has previously been provided, multiple times. Information which has been stored in the gyms guest register, under my black card membership information, since prior to the pandemic. She is aggressive, unrelenting and escalated each interaction we have had. It is pathetic when an adult has to make herself feel better by denying someone with limited abilities one of the few things he dearly loves. He eagerly has looked forward to working out for years, until recently, when Dija became a regular employee at the Chapel Hill location. Tonight she threatened to sue me when I pointed out her continued antagonistic behavior towards us each time she has seen us. She REFUSED to let him work out and insisted that HE leave. He is an 18 years old with profound Autism. She is heartless hateful and discriminatory. She has ruined this experience for him and we will be taking steps to discuss this further with an attorney.

James Bailey: KY Ave PF to save the day.I was ready to cancel my membership since I couldn't find a location south that had decent showers with hot water.I work 2 jobs and don't have time, or the money for gas to drive home to take a shower in-between.I really didn't like going into my 2nd job smelling horrible from my 1st job.This option is really so much cheaper than the extra tank of gas a week from the extra driving, and I feel truly refreshed going into the 2nd half of my day.I had such horrible experiences at the other Southside area locations from cold to barely warm showers almost half the time, Shower area's that they really don't want you to use because they are so unaccomadating it defies logic that anyone would have thought it was a good idea. The cold showers were what really had me starting to think about canceling. It got to where every time it was cold. That doesn't make sense to me, and the one on Madison is just not going to be an option for me. I will never go back into that location. Nothing necessarily wrong that I could think of. I personally didn't care for the music playing at the time, but it fit the crowd, I guess. Didn't even make it into the shower area. It is just not a location for me.Did only give 4* since the men's bathroom floor could use maybe a little extra cleaning? But that is something I can live with. These showers are they way they should be at all of the locations. So much room.Now if only nasty people could clean up after themselves, but I guess that's where we are today.Everyone lost a serious amount of IQ points being locked up in their homes I guess.

keith saylor: Used to be the best planet fitness in Indiana, and I've been to a lot of them around the country (travel for work) and then last month they updated everything, which is way worse, the old machines were ten times better. But that's not the biggest problem, they moved the cable machines and smith machines over a few inches, AWAY FROM THE MIRRORS. can't do cable flys and watch form anymore, same with squats. Also the Smith machines are out of square

Joseph Johnson: Generally great vibe with updated equipment. However, the bathrooms smell stale and do not have great ventahalation. The staff was very nice and accommodating - I'll definetly come back when I'm in the area again!

As for the Bathroom I am reluctant to touch anything in there.This morning was the topper, I heard a noise as I was leaving the locker room, as I walked around the corner one of the employees was using a cordless hand held vacuum to pick-up the dust from the corner.Lastly the LED light in the locker room has been flashing for over a week.

Denise Castelli: When I joined this club it was so clean I’d tell everyone how well cared for by the staff dusting ,sweeping, cleaning machines and lifting treadmills to mop and sweep and wipe down each machine with wet cloth and cleaners.Well today I can not say this is true it is filthy dust all over the floor and machines are are filthy. We are asked to wipe machines before and after using and we do it’s about time the staff cleans the gym. It needs a complete cleaning all over. Staff stands behind counter talking doing nothing I’ve spoke to them and they say ok but nothing has helped. I’ve asked for the manager and he isn’t in every time I ask to speak with him. Please the members need your help!!All I want is what your commercials CLEAN THUMB CLUB it say they are the well health safety club.I look forward to seeing this club clean like when I joined and staff keep up with the cleaning.

Josh Lee: If your not a bodybuilder or needing more weight than 75 pound dumbbells this is a great place! They keep it very clean, purified water, and the tanning bes are worth it alone! Equipment is new and nothing is ever broken or under repair!
Eddie Mathews: A fine place, they leave you alone and the facility is nice.They’ll charge you $40 on top of your monthly fee, this happens two months after joining.

Eric: I really enjoy coming here. It's always clean, the workers are friendly, and for the most part the other members are friendly and respectful as well. The equipment is also fairly easy to learn even with limited gym experience.

But when I brought granddaughter they treated me sarcastic and said no not allowed it's in your contract you sign. Like all contract it's lots paper work fine print you try read while they rush you to sign. When I cancelled to speaking only truth they treated me just as rude. And as well have gotten much judgement in there non judgemental zone. What a joke like ymca you have to be in the vip weight lifting club to be treated human and not like your trash off the street. It's dark as hell in there. it'd be cool if new brighter lighting was put in. way more motivating. you could take a nap in there right now. management, look into modelling after the Inverness Florida location.
Engi89: I've been coming to the gym for about month. Fairly clean and sign up was easy. Just understand the squat machine is always full in the afternoon and evenings. You will have to go in the mornings. The picture are 6:30 am on a weekday. Weekend mornings are pretty empty until 10 am.
Mister Texas: Extremely crowded at all times of the day. Morning, midday, night. Only one fly machine. The dumbbell area is a cluster. Equipment is nice and gym is clean but working out is a stressful situation trying to figure out which alternative lifts you can do and which lifts you’re just gonna have to sacrifice.

Brittany Jo: I started going back to the gym after 3 years.. this location is by far still the best in Indy/Greenwood. Most of the staff is young but they’re so funny and pleasant to interact with. Everyone there has made me feel very welcome on my renewed fitness journey. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Larry Jones: Need to stop oiling smith machines or start cleaning shafts and bushings. There is no reason there should be that much resistance on smith machine. Cleaned two after partially ruining workout and later realized I aggravated a shoulder injury.Thanks.
