Anthony Chau: One of my favorite places. It is the main place I usually come to when shopping for art supplies. It is a store I look forward to revisiting. I appreciate how they stock inventory uncommon in other stores. Although I am not a teacher, I appreciate their education supplies. The people there are usually reserved but helpful. I like how they are non-salesy. I consider United Art and Education as a toy store that has allowed me to explore new and familiar tools to bring my imagination to life 😊.I feel lucky to consider this establishment as my local art supply store.
Jerry Meyers: This is my go-to place for drawing paper and illustration supplies. Selection is great and staff is helpful. The girl up front (who's name I can't remember. Pretty red head.) Was genuinely interested in helping my wife and me.

Jason Wineinger: Great selection of affordable art and educational materials but not great to their employees. While the managers who run the stores themselves are good people, upper management is filled with bumbling, myopic, paranoid individuals who can barely run a business. They seem very disinterested in making the company a viable chain, so just assume one day your favorite location is going to close at the drop of a hat. In my nine years there I saw multiple stores close and multiple people let go without any warning, including two managers who'd been with them for ten years. Other than that it's a good store.

I love the hardboard panels, and always find other odds and ends to add to my stash. I went in Saturday for some Chromacryl texture paste because I saw it on their website. They didn't have any but ordered me two tubs and said I can pay for it when it comes in. Two thumbs way up.

Kylie Lockett: This store is absolutely amazing! It has everything you would need to teach your children at home or support them at home for practice for extra support during homework time. I can’t believe this is my first time coming in to this place after all these years. Highly recommend checking it out for any teacher or homeschool mom or parent who wants to support their children at any age to develop their skills.
jesse dean: I went in needing only one thing to prepare for the upcoming homeschool year and I ended up leaving with a cart full of supplies. There was a store worker that greeted us as we came in and was able to immediately take me to where I needed to go. There is so much available in the store. I think we have found the new destination for Christmas and birthday gifts for our children

Nikky Robinson-Parks (SylphGamer): My experience with this location was pleasant, everyone was very nice. My problem is with their policies. I purchased a sewing machine and decided to return it for something else. Unopened item, planning on purchasing something else from the store but I changed my mind after finding out that there’s a $25 restocking fee. No one told me about the restocking fees when I purchased the machine. Never again.

Bob Hunt: Yesterday made a trip to local location to pick up a few ready made open frames, in a very basic, 12 by 16” size.Sure enough, several available, but quickly became obvious all 4 of the frames on display had been significantly damaged, or used, then returned, and put back for sale as regular stock. 2 of the frames had been very poorly repaired, with visible cracks, dents and chips re-painted, but defects clearly visible, including rough, very poor paint job. The other two frames had multiple holes where they had been used, some mounting hardware still installed, with corner dents and chips not even fixed.Hobby Lobby has a clearance frame section, and I’m fine with buying things there, knowing what you see, is what you get. But putting damaged and worn returns back on the regular full-price display is very poor business.

She’s an avid quilter, visiting shops around the country, and she was very impressed by the high quality fabrics and the variety of patterns. We picked a project to produce together and one of the sales associates spent half an hour walking us through the store matching colors to the example we had selected. Really top-shelf service. While we were there a steady stream of quilters showed up, all working on amazing projects, eager to share insights. Great experience.

All of the employees are very warm, good hearted people and will help with anything that they can help you with. Janey Zurface will always work with you to show you all their different materials & explain all the specifics about each material so that you understand everything about it. She is truly a wonderful lady that is always willing to help whenever you need help. The company I work for orders 75% of our fabric from Mayer and every time we arrive to pick it up the guys inside always bring it out and put it in our vehicle and are always so polite and have a smile on their face. After a short conversation, I was provided more information about your company and the ability to visit your site and actually see the products and additional selections. Upon my arrival, Jen was busy, and Steven drove from there. Usually I am very organized, but Steven had me covered. He brought over a pen and paper and even assisted me in finding an outlet to charge my phone (otherwise, I would have been lost trying to find my way home)!I highly recommend Mayer Corporation when searching for fabrics. Mayer has a great selection of discontinued fabrics at up to 70% off. Most of the discontinued prices are from $5 to $15 per yard...which beats the cost of upholstery fabric at the retail stores even if you use the store's 40% or 50%coupon.You can view their products online or in person (my preference since I'm local). They also provide free memo samples (approx 8" square) while you're there or will ship them to you.Their customer service is exceptional especially given that I am an individual customer and not a large commercial operation.If you're doing upholstery work...check them out!

Stacy D: Went in for some Susan Bates crochet hooks and a few odds & ends. My go to store for these. I first noticed that the Packaging on them has gotten much smaller (yay) & displays have changed (acrylic color coded divided like pencil cups) and so have prices. Just small stickers folded in half on the crochet hooks now, not easy to remove the adhesive FYI. Seems like prices wouldn't go up so much with the packaging so minimal but maybe it is the price of the display? They are roughly $4 each now, just sayin'. Several sizes were not available and I didn't see the silvalume handled ones at all.It was Monday evening and the store was mostly quiet. Friendly staff. A couple of yarn Items marked clearance rang up $3 more than regular price and not clearance. No real explanation but oh well.Overall good experience just because it wasn't crazy busy there so I got peaceful time to look and employees and customers alike were pleasant.
