The French Seam: what do users think?
Jolinda Roberts: SMALL store. Nice fabric. Lady behind the counter is very unfriendly and off-putting. Not welcoming at all.
Chelsea H: Cute little shop! Their fabric selection was nice for quilting or fashion. Not a huge selection of pre-cuts, but there were plenty of fat quarters ready to go. I saw mostly modern patterns, but I definitely didn’t look at all of them. They also had supplies for hand embroidery and knitting. I’d love to see some cross stitch as well! I grabbed some remnants at a great price. I’ll be back!
Betty Byers: Great selection of fabrics, friendly service
Amanda Ewer: What a delight to find this place! The staff were so welcoming and helpful and excited about our project. The selection of quality fabrics was beautiful.
Joyce Hoban: Selection and very helpful
Mark Gordon: Friendly and helpful
John F. Bruns: Small high quality fabric selection, large classroom & machine selection, very friendly & helpful
Linda Benjamin: Sweet little store... I love to stop in when I get to town...
Lottie Ferguson: Awesome little fabric shop with a decent selection of fabric; many specialty items. Super friendly service. They didn't have the fabric I needed, but asked questions about my sewing project & offered tips to help make the project go smoother. Will certainly visit again when in town. Thanks ladies!
T Miller: Great selection knowledge staff
Melissa Miller: Great place with very helpful staff. They have nice fabrics for multiple purposes. Lots of classes offered in a large room as well.
Jenny Willenberg: Amazing higher end fabrics and notions. Very personalized service. Their fabric is not cheap, but it's worth every penny.
Julie Lada: I highly recommend their sewing classes. I love all of the items I made, mostly due to the wonderful fabrics I had to choose from to create something I actually wanted. I highly recommend them if you're looking for quality fabric, or if you're new to sewing and would like to gain confidence with hands-on guidance.
Lily Casas: Better location easy in and out parking just off of I-69 96th street north to Hague Rd to Castle gate
Nicole Turner: The shop has a beautiful selection of fabrics for all types of projects. The fabric sews like a dream which is a huge plus! They usually have a variety of new patterns in stock and it's easy to stop in for all the supplies for an entire project. :) You can tell the staff is experienced and they are always willing to help with fabric selections. Love to come to this store and get inspired!!!
N Odell: Friendly knowledgeable staff. Great fabric although limited in variety. Good sewing classes on nice machines. Fabric is high end, so rather pricey.
Glenn Shay: Looking for a new Juki machine. Courtney and her mom are the best. Very helpful and knowledgeable. We will be back!
Jacquelin Clark: High quality selection!
Quinn Tailor: The store has a wide selection of fabrics for both quilting and apparel, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Margaret Fette University of Sewing Tailored Fit: Oh my do you like quality fabric. This is the place to get it!
Donna Todd: Great place to see more quality line of fabrics than big box stores. If you are looking for and needing fabric now. Friendly, helpful service. Will be nice after their move to expand choices.

StitchWorks: what do users think?
Rachiades G: The Skills 1 class was a great intro to using industrial machines. Danielle was a fantastic instructor, the class went at a good pace and there was enough time to ask questions and practice. Threading the straightstitch machine and practicing various stitches on both the straightstitch machine and serger were some of the skills covered. Highly recommend! I'm looking forward to taking more classes here in the future.
Sophia Muston: StitchWorks made 300 custom masks for our organization. They are beautiful, comfortable, and will keep so many people safe! Additionally, they were a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Germaine Catton: Extremely responsive and accommodating. We ordered isolation gowns for our dental office and they were ready quickly, were affordable and have worked out well. The customer service is top notch. Highly recommend.
Susan Appel: Wonderful working with StitchWorks. They made high quality masks and were very easy to work with.
Nick Catton: We purchased a number of isolation gowns for our local dental practice. I’ve been very happy with them. Highly recommend

Debbie Smith: Just gorgeous fabrics and neat patterns. Modern ideas that I love. Very helpful folks as well as quick shipping.
Chris Kunz: Helpful people. Best fabric around.
Victoria Diane: I ordered some gorgeous fabric for a quilt. I got the wrong fabric. I called, told Amy all about it. She sprang into action, sent me the correct fabric and gifted me the fabric I received. So friendly so fast!! ❤
Alusta Tapy: Amazing store with great selection especially if you want fabric that's a little quirky! Had tons of selection and good prices.
amber barnaby: Wonderful fabric store but there is a horrible smell every time I have been there. Has anyone else noticed it? I almost have to plug my nose every time I go in.
Rochelle Ford: Never been there but I have a friend that say it's A wonderful thing to go there!!!!
Kathy Zaczek: Always make it a priority to shop there when we are visiting our children in Indy. Because of covid I have ordered several items online and I'm always very pleased.
Just Sherri: I LOVE this store! Hands down my favorite fabric stores in town. But beware! If you have a fabric obsession, you WILL NOT leave without buying something. You've been warned.
Pete Moore: Purchased a couple of gift cards for my mom and then when she visited I took her to CT. She’s an avid quilter, visiting shops around the country, and she was very impressed by the high quality fabrics and the variety of patterns. We picked a project to produce together and one of the sales associates spent half an hour walking us through the store matching colors to the example we had selected. Really top-shelf service. While we were there a steady stream of quilters showed up, all working on amazing projects, eager to share insights. Great experience.
Austin Mills: Absolutely love the way this store is organized! Everything is neat, crisp, and easy to find!
Jessica Beck: Really cool, unique and high quality quilting cotton store. Staff is super sweet and helpful.
Martha Ward: I visit Crimson tate whenever I travel to Indy. The staff are very friendly. The fabrics are beautiful and high quality. The packaging is irresistible. The kits for projects are attractive to look at and buy. When I can't get to town I order online. I recommend that too.
Aleena Serna: I ordered the Countdown to Fun box online for delivery and in transit there was some damage to the box that resulted in damage to some of the fabric. I received excellent and prompt customer service to resolve the issue. I am so thankful for that support as an online supporter of this business. Thank you for a wonderful experience ☺️
Heather Atkins: Great taste, awesome web presences, awful time parking.
Polly Baker: Great shop in the heart of downtown for fabrics, threads, quilt patterns, etc. Fabrics are very high quality, and a great selection, including some unusual and unique designs.
Cydney Ogan: Super kind staff and amazing fabric! I went in to buy fabric for my first quilt and they were so helpful!
Sustainable Textile Design: A wonderful shop in Indy, where creativity and inclusiveness go hand-in-hand. Keep up the awesome job!
Seven Sisters Quilt Shop: Fabulous shop😍
jamie Def-Kiss: A unique small business fabric shop downtown Indy
Robin Jones: My online order arrived lickety split after it was placed. That is customer service!

Quilt Quarters: what do users think?
Charles Lewis: Nice shop that had lots of material and Bernina sewing machines on sale at 20% off. They had St. Patrick decorations.
Jim Taul: Excellent staff. My wife purchased a new Bernina (Horn) quilt sewing cabinet from them in December. When it came in they promptly notified us and scheduled a delivery. The people that delivered the huge and heavy cabinet was Erich Sunde and his partner. The came a few minutes early, carried it to the basement and had it set up and running within minutes. Very pleasant and respectful folks.Overall, the whole experience was very satisfying and this should be the model for other businesses to follow.Sincerely,Jim & Jill Taul
Joan Harrison: Wait, please let me explain..The store is very nice. They carry a lot of great fabrics from all the great designers. The displays are very nice and they have a great selection. That being said... here is mytotal experience with Quilt Quarters. I have shopped on and off since they were owned by Kaye England, years ago!!I bought my second Bernina from them during that time. So, while I am not an expert.. I do have about 30 years of sewing using a Bernina. During this time, I have absolutely loved sewing using a Bernina. I have owned 4 different machines. I've never ever had a problem with them..unitl now. I ordered an automatic replacement threader for my baby. Somehow, it broke. So I ordered one from Quilt Quarters. Picked it up, and my husband, who is a mechanic, changed out the part. No big deal. It worked great the 1st time. The next morning, I went to put my new color on, and the threader broke. I was not very happy as you can imagine. My husband called and spoke with a staff member, and she told him...Oh we do not warranty the parts. They never told me, or I would have gone to my favorite store and bought the part. Tiffany said, "No, we don't warranty parts. I began to explain how it worked once and then broke on the second threading. No, she was telling me that I was just out of luck..Luck had nothing to do with buying and installing a Bernina made part. They should replace the expensive part. She told me well I was confused." No, I was not confused, and they needed to replace the part. She became very rude and quite dismissive to me. So I explained the whole thing again.. This time, Tiffany had such a nasty attitude to me. So I explained.. That is fine.. I will be seeing her again... in small claims court..and that I was very upset that she told me that I must be confused. Just because I am an older woman is NO reason to be treated with such rudeness. She told me she would call me back. Thankfully, Tiffany did. She told me that they would warranty the part just this one time, but the service person had to install it. So we made an appointment and went up there, 45 minutes away. When we got there, Tiffany was very angry about having to do this. But they took my sewing machine back and he installed it. Then, when they brought it out, they asked me to show them how to thread it.Both Tiffany and the service person glared at me as I threaded the machine.. no problem. They also made sure to tell me that this was a one-time deal.I would have given the store 5*'s, but because of the treatment I received.. I almost gave them one star.. but they did replace the part, and so I think I am being fair with three stars. Yes, the selection was nice, but the way they treated me was uncalled for.Thank you for taking the time to read about my experience.
Nadine: Haven't been to this place in years, but now that I've found them again illbe back. Love it.
Melissa Blair: Very friendly and helpful staff. Store is very bright and welcoming!
Susan Pettit: Ways great, friendly service.
Chris Cathey: I stop by here almost weekly and feel like I know all the employees. Thank you Irene, Olivia, Tiffany, Melissa, Joan and Paul.
Barbara Alkema: Quilt Quarters is amazing. They have a wide variety of fabrics and machines. The staff is wonderful.
Marie Pemberton: Love the fabrics
Samantha Hendrian: Awesome selection of cute and modern fabrics as well as some classic prints, and a wide variety of solids. The employees were super kind and friendly, even with my toddler pulling FQ’s off the shelves 😅
Gregory Mays: Calling to purchase a gift card and they were very helpful walking me thru to get it thank you ladies very much.
Brian Knight: Excellent service
Jerry Abbott: Large new quarters...well stocked...looks great!
Susie Fordyce: I recently found this wonderful quilting, fabric, sewing machine and lessons store located on the north side of Indianapolis. I felt like a kid in a candy store. I took in my Bernina sewing machine for repairs and the staff took great care of me. They engaged with me and asked all the questions For anyone these days to take interest in the people that take the time to walk through their doors is very important in the world. Oh - and the fabric choices are are incredible. Thanks Quilt Quarters - it was worth the drive from Muncie to see you..
Sara Jay: /ood
Donna Matlik: If you are looking for a good quilting machine, go talk to Tiffany at Quilt Quarters. I purchased a Bernina Q16 machine last March from her. In 5 months I learned so much about free motion quilting. Today I shared with her and the staff my first king sized quilt. They were so kind and encouraging. What fun! It is nice to have the people who work at the store point at the fabric and say,”Oh, I remember that fabric.”Every time I go into the store there is a warm welcome and people are always willing to help me find fabric. I have never felt pressured to purchase or to hurry my decision. And the selection of beautiful fabric is lovely. So thank you to the owner and the people working so hard to serve us all well!
jackie bloom: Staff unfriendly and advertised a big moving sale. Only 2 tables of clearance no fabric on sale.
kim Lucas: Great experience - I walked in and was greeted immediately. Quilters spend money so it’s nice that they were friendly. Years ago at another shop - the staff was too busy to say good morning - I walked out
Donna Sever: Great selection, had a rough day with an employee but management helped.
Barbara Rogers: What a fun experience today visiting this quilt store. I am from Texas and have access to a lot of quilt stores. The staff was totally awesome and selection was quite extensive. Needless to say, I did leave with a beautiful selection of fabric for a new project. Definitely will return when I am in the area again!
Sue Franke: I visited Quilt Quarters this morning and found the staff to be helpful and the changes made in the store over the last year result in an even brighter and more organized shop. The fabric selection was probably the best around and has a nice variety in colors, designers, patterns. The new manager, Tiffany, has been with the store for several years and has helped me in the past. Today was no different...she knows her stuff as do the other Quilt Quarters employees. I also appreciate the store ads I see on Facebook as well as in my inbox so I know when the sales are taking place. I look forward to going back.

JOANN Fabrics and Crafts: what do users think?
N Odell: Husqvarna Viking dealer there. Cotton & other fabrics available, lots of yarn, Wilton cooking items, crafts, etc.
Marnie Selbo: Was a little annoyed about the cut counter being closed at 8:00 this evening but the lady who was working let me know it was because they were short staffed she helped me find everything else I needed after that and provided great customer although you need more staff.
Erik Wentz: Was told they couldn't cut fabric to sell, because they were short staffed. At a fabric store?!?
Alaina Joyce: Loved today's sewing class with Melissa and Debbie in the Viking sublet store. We wholeheartedly appreciated the guidance and experience of these two. They patiently answered all our questions and helped these novices feel comfortable on the machine. Two gems. Many thanks for the personal interest and the kindness. We look forward to the next sessions.
June Anderson Quarbo: Lots of variety but expensive
Tina Roland: The dirtiest store I’ve been in. One clerk to check out. It took 30 minutes to check out. It’s too bad. We need fabric stores. I can’t believe that this store could stay in business under these conditions
Shyla Ratcliff: The staff is usually very helpful, but that’s not where my issue is…I had to use the bathroom, but the bathroom was disgusting…and it’s not the first time I’ve seen it like that..
Deana Harter: Had just the perfect fabric for new kitchen curtains.
Eric Klinkowski: This place is a time machine. If you are suffering from something incurable, just stand around in here. Time goes by incredibly slower here. By the time you leave a cure will have been found.
Westin Williamson: Nice staff and selection.
Annemarie L: I was impressed by the offers (was lucky to get some great on sale products - nice fabrics and Christmas decoration with up to 80% discount). Take your time to have a look at everything in the shop. (for me 1h was not enough 😄) Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Hash Brown: I needed an unknown fabric for an odd project. I lucked out and not only found the perfect fabric, it was also on clearance. Crafts aren't reall my thing, but the selection here is amazing! Great people too!
Andrew McCurry: Joann's is my go to craft store. If I can't find what I want, it's not hard to find someone to ask who knows. I've never had a bad interaction here.
Abdmojrim: Thank you Carol for the outstanding customer service and help!!
Sarah Le: I was surprised I didn't find much for loom knitting
Bob Carnahan: My wife loves the knitting and crocheting items. Lots of fabrics to choose from. I like the various other crafty items, as I am always looking for different hobbies to try out.
Lainey B: Great craft store. Plenty of fabrics if you like sewing.
David Boyd: I am giving it a 3 stars. Not really for the store or what they have, but for the poor customer service recently. One cashier and a long line of customers wanting to check out. Yes labor market has some issues but that was inexcusable
Stacy D: Went in for some Susan Bates crochet hooks and a few odds & ends. My go to store for these. I first noticed that the Packaging on them has gotten much smaller (yay) & displays have changed (acrylic color coded divided like pencil cups) and so have prices. Just small stickers folded in half on the crochet hooks now, not easy to remove the adhesive FYI. Seems like prices wouldn't go up so much with the packaging so minimal but maybe it is the price of the display? They are roughly $4 each now, just sayin'. Several sizes were not available and I didn't see the silvalume handled ones at all.It was Monday evening and the store was mostly quiet. Friendly staff. A couple of yarn Items marked clearance rang up $3 more than regular price and not clearance. No real explanation but oh well.Overall good experience just because it wasn't crazy busy there so I got peaceful time to look and employees and customers alike were pleasant.
Janet Barron: Went to JoAnns looking for fur trim, some piping, and thread to make a tree skirt with some custom printed material I purhased online. Found everything I needed and even got some advice to check out another custom fabric printing place online!
Jennifer De Cou Rodriguez: VERY HELPFUL STAFF They always help me find what i need.

JOANN Fabrics and Crafts: what do users think?
TEJ SINGH: A LOT OF STUFF EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE,TRY TO GRAB THE DEALS AT WALMARTS
Kirstie Siefert: They need to check the products and see that they are in fact on sale I doubled check before trying to purchase and the cashier said they wasn't part of the sale even though they was in the right spot she wouldn't bother asking someone to double check lost a sale over a simple check
Sarah Royalty: Love the clearance
Pixie Marie: I am happy they carry open stock colored pencils. The bead selection isn't quite as full as it has been, but if you look around you can find some real bargains. But, when did fabric and craft stores start carrying tarot cards?
