Barry Foster: February 2023 I Brought my adult daughter to PCnStuff for her to buy a refurbished desktop computer for her. The owner was extremely helpful AND dealt exclusively with my daughter rather than talking over her and dealing with me. Very impressed! I was there for moral support, and to ask a few questions, which he answered candidly and honestly. She bought a great computer (Has been working very well for her for 30+ days now), at a great price, and it was built on the spot to the specifications she needed, with a guarantee. I would recommend anyone who is interested in a good deal on a refurbished computer to drop in and ask PCnStuff what they can do for them! You will not be disappointed.

Kate R.: Scott is THE MAN. My fiance went here to get some mobo screws so I could actually build the rig, and then once I built it and started having issues, we brought it here. It ended up being as simple as updating the BIOS so it'd be compatible with the RAM. Scott helped us that same day and I got to leave with a fully functional gaming rig, plus a little speaker inside the chassis so I can hear error codes should they arise in the future. He also gave me tips on cable management. Now, the shop is pure chaos, but Scott knows his stuff, so don't let that deter you!

Tb Family: Went in looking for a small tv for my kids and came out with jewelry for my wife, 40 inch tv for my kids and all because of a young man named Chris. His approach and techniques are amazing. The way he laughs/smiles, is how he gets you. But I enjoyed every moment of his time and thought he was a manager and after he sadly said he wasn’t offered him a job. Great customer service great salesman.... i would hire him in a heartbeat no questions asked. Even got me to purchase a warranty and here’s the kicker he even showed me it works. I will differently will be back to see him in action might even have to bring some of my co worker in training to show what a smile and paying attention to your customers could land u a even bigger sale. #lovegreatsalesmen.

I am currently heading there again right now! “Shelly was so, so kind through the entire process. I know NOTHING about jewelry pawning and she was just so sweet to walk me through it. Did all the tests right in front of me, explaining what it did, and how it wouldn’t hurt the jewelry. Asked me what I was hoping to get out of selling the necklaces, gave me DOUBLE my highest hope. Everyone there is so kind, I can’t remember his name but I believe it was Adam and I never got the chance to ask but the woman with long, beautiful hair and eyelashes and orange in her hair. ALL AMAZING!!!!” P.S ADAM is actually ANDY! Haha, messed that up!

Enoc I. Lopez: Customer Service was great! I was greeted a soon as I walked in. The ladies were funny and engaging. I was browsing for games console and games. Prices were ok and selection was good. They have a few PS5 that look promising, however they were all very dirty. I know it s a pawn shop, but presentation and cleanliness is everything. It gave me hesitation on getting one on the spot. Other than that they were highly recommended by a friend.

I literally bought a camera online for $100 and took it here and offered me $20 and it's on shelves now for over $150. Avoid at all cost. You can buy the same stuff online for cheaper if you do your research.

Jimmie Centers: So I bought a portable heater and also a 6 month warranty. The heater then catches on fire. I take it back a week or so later after I had time. I exchange it for a different heater. I had to use my warranty which is fine but with the new heater I had to buy a new warranty as you can only use the warranty once. Well I get the second heater home and turn it on. It’s blowing air but never gets hot. I flip it upside down to read the manufacture label and it’s not even a heater. It’s a purifier. I take it back, they don’t have anything equivalent to what I need, so I just wanted my money back. They gave me cash for the heater but couldn’t refund the warranty but I didn’t even use the warranty, they miss labeled something so this is on them. So I guess all I got was the money for the heater and the store pocketed my warranty money. Also the person in charge was laughing at me and mumbling under his breath as I was leaving. He was super nice the first exchange but very very unprofessional the second time. They screw up and I get laughed at? 🤷♂️ guess they needed the money.

Carl Jones: I want to thank the owner at Doc Bros.I walked in the store with a smile on my face and a pocket full of money, ready to spend it all on stuff I don't need, again, with a smile on my face. After looking at a few guitars, I picked one up to test, and it needed tuned. And as a proficient musician, it was no issue for me to tune the instrument. The strings on this guitar had to have been at least 5-10 years old. While tuning the high E string, it snapped due to wear. Anybody who would have tried to tune the guitar would have broken the string. Guitar strings break. Sometimes after playing the guitar for only one day. And this is not an issue, because they cost 2.50 for a pack of six.Well, when the string broke, the owner (doc, I guess?) became abnormally up set for the situation, took the guitar out of my hands, and complained, "now I'll never be able to sell it!" I offered to put a new string on it, and he just mumbled to himself frustratedly. So I said, "if you'd prefer, I can go buy a guitar someplace else?" To which he responded by mumbling to himself for a moment, eventually saying "yes, you can go someplace else." I chuckled and obliged, also letting him know that I would tell all my friends (who are also musicians who frequently spend significant moolah on instruments) all about my experience in this shop.As I was saying before, I want thank doc bros. They saved me from myself when I was about to recklessly spend a lot of money on things I probably shouldn't have.Thanks, Doc! *in bugs bunny voice*

Especially guitars & violins, & a great selection of jewelry. More mens rings than I've seen at other shops. I was there for a loan this time. The diamonds I brought were nice, but not as good as the jeweler said. The owner took the time to show me the flaws in the diamonds. And explained the difference between appraisal amount & resale value. Great honest people that I would definitely recommend to anyone trying to sell or buy diamond jewelry.

C Debre: In December of 2020, I put an HP laptop with Windows 10 in the layaway for $200 + warranty fee totaling $216 (a 30 day warranty should be free) On 3-6-2021, I got it out of layaway, paying the final amount of $116. Once home I discovered that the operating system is not the standard Windows 10, but "Windows 10 Pro Education", specifically designed for schools, with security for grades K-12 that prevents upload of content to the internet!!! Additionally, I turned the laptop sideways to prevent dropping it while reaching for something & the total screen went sideways, portrait mode & won't return to the standard landscape mode of ALL LAPTOPS & COMPUTERS! Meaning they installed it with a version designed for tablets! This is really shady business!3-8-202@ --. I took the laptop back and they refunded my money with no problem. If you buy a laptop here, be sure to THIROUGHLY INSPECT IT and the operating system before purchasing.

They told me $175 to get it back and the THIEF behind the counter put it in as a buy and now I am out my iPad. Contacting and attorney today!

Nicole Bowe: I took in two brand new power tools that were still in the box with the receipt. They cost around $400 total, and I was offered I think $60. This place is a ripoff and were no help in my emergency situation (I couldn’t access my bank account, and I was out of town).
Daniel Mitchel: Most of the employees are helpful. If you have a good history with them (as in you don't lose items you pawned for a loan), they will continue to give you a fair amount for your item. Their item selection is fair at best in my opinion. I always pop in to check it all out every couple of weeks, and there are some deals to be had. I got a great deal for $25 on a sound bar, the same one I already had at my house & spent $270+tax, but it was missing the power cord for the subwoofer. At the end of the day, it's a Pawn Shop. If you see something you like, put it on layaway! Most of the good items are in the back, on loan.

Go a few blocks south, "they" don't wreck your stuff.

mogsonmushrooms: These people are crooks. I pawned a 31 gram silver coin, they lost it. They tried to replace it with a 26 gram coin. Apparently they were unaware I knew my silver. They gave me 3 small coins instead weighing over 31 grams. Next visit all a sudden, they don't take junk silver coins as pawn. I bought a peace coin for 20 and two days later they want 30 for same coin. The staff are dumb and rude and know nothing of silver. I will never go to this pawn shop again.Also they take gaming systems that are roach infested. I watched them take a PlayStation from a fella and one crawled out and they killed it but still took the machine. So buyer beware of buying any electronics from there or you could have a roach infestation. Even Sony smart enough to not repair their own equipment if it has bugs but these guys are just gross. Also I found out just now few years later than my coin was rare and they "lost it". It was one oz of silver but I was unaware it was a rare coin. Very very crooked people.

Troy Burris: I took my new Canon EOS Rebel T6 camera with a tripod, 3 lenses, 3 batteries, 2 chargers, filters, and an external flash, over $600.00 total value, and was told that all I could get as a loan was $125.00. I talked the guy in to a $150.00 loan. Camera was in pawn for 8 days. When I redeemed my ticket and got it out, the bar for the external flash is broken, as well as part of the view finder. The backpack that it was in had dirt on the bottom, as well as what appeared to be a partial shoe print. I didn't have time to fully examine all the pieces in the case until I got home, so I have a feeling they will not take responsibility for the damages done to it. The person who waited on me tried to claim that they could get everything that I had for $250.00 or less.

The lady named Christine said that they were not thru acid testing. I know for a fact they are through equipment I have at the store. Also she charged me half the amount that I would get paid at Master jewelers. Go to Master Jewelers for your gold buying needs.

Just Johnny: During my visit, I noticed a line of people needing to sell/pawn their items that went past the front door. My friend asked if he could skip the line and actually buy something that was in a case, however, the store cashier stated we'd have to wait in the very long line, just to buy something.In my experience as a buying customer with cash in hand, you would think the store would want to sell whatever items a buying customer would want, over buying more product. I'll never go back to this pawn over such a pathetic example of bad business.

haley: Really don't understand why she was rude. Came in to sell a TV, X box, and a bunch of games. She asked us to plug in the tv so they could make sure it works. Understandable, no problem. We were trying to get the tv plugged in while holding everything else. She gave us a little attitude and kept asking for an ID while she was watching us, hands full, trying to plug the tv in. My fiance said something about her not waiting just a few more seconds for us to get our hands free. She threw his ID back at us and said, "you can wait for somebody else then, my food is getting cold. " I've worked in customer service, I completely understand working for people all day and not really having anytime to sit down and eat. But really... All that? We came in with no problem, she was the one giving us an attitude. Obviously annoyed because she had to help us instead of eating her food. I get that you're hungry, but you really don't gotta take that out on me. I'm going through a hard time right now and struggling financially. That's why I was trying to sell all my stuff. She complaining about her cold food when I'm trying to do what I can just to afford food👍🏻

I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, and it will include a discrimination inquiry. I’ll also be filing a discrimination complaint with the local equal opportunity office.
Jamye Wade: Chris is awesome. I always have a great experience and they give me good deals. Just this one time my last time going there a lady at the front was very rude and before she could look up my history or how much my $400 Bose headphones were worth she told me all she could do was $15 and when I asked her to look me up she got upset and told me she didn’t want them. I then went to the other cash America on 16th and Emerson and they offered to give me $100 on a buy and $75 on a loan. I recommend the Emerson location 100%

Laces: Went to Cash America Pawn to look at their laptops. They have alot of great laptops all priced fairly. Great deals. Chris the manager was super helpful. Great atmosphere. They do get a little busy around peak hours but this is normal for places with great deals/service. I spent nearly 3 hours here checking out their laptops and talking with the staff. Definitely recommend.

Chris Collins: this store is NOT consistant at all! it seems each individual employee makes rules on what they take and how they take them based on the commission they will get. for instance, i have taken several digital converter boxes with a universal remote and sold them there....but depending on who you talk to they may say they have to have to original remote. this is the only pawn shop i have found where the employees make things up as they go along. my neighbor just took another converter box to them on Monday (2/13/17) with universal and no problem but yet today they are being stubborn again. they will waste your time if you don't call ahead, and even then they don't like to answer the phone. good luck conducting business at this location!!! i really wanted to give zero stars but seems it's not an option
Auntaesha calvert: Not enough selections of movies. Feels like a junkyard/ goodwill when entering the store. The worst part was the fact that we spent 18 bucks on movies and they forgot to put the disk in the boxes. So now we're stuck with blank cases till Monday because they're closed on Sundays
