Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site: what do users think?
Tyson Porter: Our guide was knowledgeable and professional. She was young and inspired by the history (especially Ben’s first wife!) Really positive experience.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $11–15 …More
Jessica Wilson: I went here after a conference in November. It remains the best historical site I've ever been to (and I've been to many!)! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He talked at length about the activities of the women in Benjamin Harrison's life, his progressive ideas for policy, and his treatment of minorities. The house is incredibly well-preserved and accessible to visitors. Benjamin Harrison carefully adopted many new technologies to make the running of his household easier and more efficient. To me, this speaks volumes!
Darren: We enjoyed the tour of the Harrison home. Our guide was knowledgeable and gracious.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $16–20 …More
Emma Wright: I’ve visited house museums all across the country, and I feel lucky to have this gem in my city! The guide was an excellent storyteller and carefully incorporated artifacts that shared the history of President Harrison and the home. I highly recommend for Indy locals or anyone stopping through.
Geoff McCuen: What a great hidden gem. Not only is the house line a time capsule, but there is so much history and information about Harrison that most Hoosiers don't know about.Visited on Weekend Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $11–15 …More
Florence May: I've been many times over the years. For house tours (the guides are so knowledgeable about our former President and his family), Easter egg hunt, their seasonal plays, and hopefully this year for New Years Eve. The house is stunning with 80% of the collection from the family.
Alisha Johnson: Love this place! Such a fun experience caroling. And everyone was super nice. 10/10 will go again!Visited on Public holiday Wait time No wait …More
Marah Barker: A beautiful place with lots of cool things about it. We went during a renovation and it was awesome to see all the items that were from the time period as well as the restoration of such a beautiful place. It was awesome that there was one rug left from the time that Benjamin Harrison lived there. I hope to visit again when all the Christmas stuff is up.Great tour and definitely worth going to if you like history or need something to do on a day off.
白君德: Such a great treasure to have in downtown Indianapolis. I got a great tour and learned a lot. It would be great to see the rest of the house that was closed off when I was visiting. I parked right next to it in the street on a Sunday. Easy to get in and out.

He was able to provide a lot of information, that helped you understand how Benjamin Harrison lived. The house has plenty of artifacts and artwork to keep the tour interesting.I highly recommend visiting this awesome Indiana historical land mark.
Doron Berger: Fantastic example of turn of the 19th century Victorian style upper class homes. Lots of artwork and artifacts. The second and third floors currently under construction but it’s well worth the visit.Outside garden plaza has replicas of the bill of rights, constitution and Declaration of Independence. The Harrison family was very involved in 19th century US politics so you will learn a lot about the period.

White River State Park: what do users think?
Nicole Alawady: Everyone one should spend a nice day here or even attend a concert at this venue. Great downtown location right off the canal.
Kimberlee: Great Park!
Sandra Gonzalez: It is a beautiful, peaceful park.
lulu cindy: Beautiful place the only thing is the parking very expensive if you want to be there all day it will cost.
Carl Krzywosinski: Like the new lights.
Alfredo Flores Tlatenchi: Ideal para disfrutar al aire libre y practicar deporte, la tienda de recuerdos del museo es ideal para los.amamtes de las rocas, ademas de la pantañña IMAX, hoy exhibieron Super Mario B.
Arvind Kumar: Nice place.
Nicole Green: Nice nature walk place
Andrew Tokar: What can I say except it's absolutely beautiful!
Yelquin Rodriguez: Muy lindo lo recomiendo para alguien que kiera disfrutar un paseo
Rita Fires: Beautiful part of the city. Canal boat rides are available. However, there are no restrooms. The visitors' centor hours are not correct, and don't go agter dark!
Dan Stuck: Went to Imax theater, John Wick 4Restrooms: Plenty of clean facilities
Martine Janvier: Perfect for an afternoon stroll. I like to go late afternoon and catch the sunset on the white river state park . The park is well maintained. My only negative point is that there is no free parking around . You will have to park off the street and pay the park meters or pay the outdoor parking or underground .
Nitin Singh: Amazing and scenic
Jade West: Windy but absolutely lovely
Michi H (michitravel_channel): If you would like to see cherry blossoms in Indiana, this White River State Park is the place to be. Every year at the beginning of April, the 52 cherry trees in the park bloom; in 2023, they were in third bloom on 4/1-2, so they will be in full bloom in a few days. The State Park also has a canal, making it a great location for a spring picnic. There is a fee for parking, but it is a good deal as it is only about $6 for 2 hours.
吴锐恒(Ruiheng Edbalt Wu): You cannot miss this when you visit Indy. Really nice in the morning.
April Bladen: We LOVE this place!! We go walked around the park as much as we can. It is so calming especially for being downtown. They keep it cleaned up and always looks nice. Lots of things to do!
Brent Dawes: Beautiful place to visit!
Vinal Lee: The canal is a must when in Indy. Great place to walk, plenty of sights to see, plenty of museums to visit. Great park.
Seth R: Beautiful as always well worth an afternoon when it's warm.

Archaeo Native66: What a wonderful, warm, inviting place. I visited it around noon time this past week and it was great. Very clean. The front desk lady was very nice and helpful. She told me exactly where to go for the Native American exhibit. The broad range of artifacts and interactive learning tools for kids was great. There is some art done by indigenous people. It is a nice collection of Wild West.Cafe was surprisingly good! Buffalo tacos were delicious.Don't forget to get your parking validated because then you won't have to pay.
ED G: I attended a guitar show a couple of years back, and it was the most memorable moments of my life. The amount of instruments they had that belonged to all the greats was breathtaking.

Jon A.: Beautiful facility, friendly staff, a shame it is for the liberal wokesters hell-bent on scrubbing history from the books and rewriting the way they want it to be. Very hypocritical in every sense. The founder was a coal miner, I'm surprised they haven't figured out a way to scrub his name off the building for being an American pioneer and builder of this museum and someone that worked and helped build this country. Shame on you staff for turning this Beautiful legacy into a woke, politically correct venue. You are shaming and chipping away at the very foundation on which you stand.
Jamie Lee Dalton: I had never been, in all the time it has been around. Throughly enjoyed the Changing Views: The Photography of Dorothea Lange exhibit. It got me in the door to experience it, as well as the rest of the museum. Loved the kids interactive area on the lower level. My niece is 12 and still got into playing the role of cantina waiter and riding the pony. It was time well spent.
andy whitehurst: Great place. I stopped in to see the Dorothea Lange photo exhibit. Awesome, very touching and thought-provoking.
Miss Eddie: We went to the Eiteljorg Museum today; it's about Native American Indian history and crafts. I was very excited about going, but it was a major let down when we got there. It was nothing but pictures and statues, and a lot of walking around without much to see. Now don't get me wrong, I'm very interested in Indians, because I'm part Cherokee also, but the museum was very sparse...a lot of the rooms were fairly empty. I will say there was several areas set up with things to do for the kids, in each area, and that kept our grandson occupied. They also had a children's area for them to be entertained, on the lower level.**I might go back someday if they get more to look at.**We did get in for FREE and we didn't have to pay for parking either, BUT, that was because we checked out the museum member card from our local library. I wouldn't have been very happy if we had paid for this trip!Be prepared to spend some hefty cash if you go, because we got our grandson a gift from the gift shop, a smallish Lego set with a big book of different things to build, and it was $25.00 + tax. They did have a lot of things to sell, and I believe it's almost all authentic Native American items, so that will make it pricey. We ate in the Cafe, and for me, my husband, and our grandson, it was over $47.00!
Amy Callahan: Be sure to catch the Jingle Rails exhibit around the holidays! Definitely one of my favorites.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait …More
rich walker: Neat place. I would be happy to pay for entry if my whole family didn't carry active duty military ID cards. This is supposed to be a Blue Star museum. Apparently the staff doesn't realize (or care) about their own policy. We mentioned it in the nicest way possible when presented with a $4 discount. If you are military you may not get it for free as they advertise. Just a heads up to our fellow veterans. This isn't a Blue Star museum.
Karen Stephenson: This is a great place to slow down and appreciate the beautiful art. Highly recommend visiting.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Price for adult entry $16–20 …More

We were walking on the canal and decided to warm up in the sunlight when we found ourselves at the steps of the Indiana war memorial and museum. We enjoyed everything about the experience. From the moment we entered we were greeted by a friendly employee who answered our questions. We dove in and had no idea what to expect. We were all surprised with the quality and quantity of amazing memorabilia, artifacts, an actual pieces of history. I was able to show my son every uniform camouflage I wore in the US Army. I was also able to show him every unit patch I wore. For crying out loud, there is a AH-1 Huey Cobra on the Vietnam war era! Everything about our visit was a success. You are the gold standard of museums, and in Indiana fashion, rivals the Seoul South Korea War Museum in I-tae Wan.

We parked at a street nearby (free parking) and walked over to the museum. It was a little chilly outside, and when we entered were quickly greeted by staff and directed to walk a specific way to get to the museum. There was no charge to enter the memorial. The museum has a collection of US military history spanning from the Revolutionary War to the Iraq War. It pays tribute to the men and women of the armed forces and recognizes their contributions. There's so much history to be found walking through these halls, and I was surprised to see the evolution of weapons and uniforms/wear in each conflict. There was also a staircase leading up to the top of the memorial that honored everyone that sacrificed their lives in WWII.

Lindsay Sarver: There is always more to see than we can fit into one visit. Price points are such that if you have a large family like we do, a membership is a great idea. From science experiments and a huge toddler-to-school age climbing and play scape to traveling exhibits, a 4-story Chihuli sculpture and even rotating social-justice exhibits, there is something to entertain our whole family from 18-months to 14 years old. The outdoor sports zone is a great way to run off any leftover energy before the drive home. If you’ve got a dinosaur fan, their dinosaur space is one of the best we’ve seen since the Dinosaur museum in Philly. Just go; you won’t regret it. I will say the cafeteria space has plentiful options (even salads and Starbucks if you don’t want the typical pizza or chicken strips), but the lines and crowds can get a little daunting. We usually bring food from home to save time and money and sometimes spring for popcorn or snacks if time and crowds allow.
