Tinker Street Restaurant: what do users think?
Amelia Knopf: I hadn’t been to Tinker Street since The Before Times. It was every bit as magical as I remember. I don’t take food photos so you’re left to your own devices to imagine perfection. Went with friends, ate a metric ton, and everything was perfect. The fan favorites included: fried Korean mushrooms, pork something or other, pea risotto, ricotta donuts, and the bartender. Bartender was clutch.
Robin Thoman: We've enjoyed the restaurant many times before, often with friends. Each visit has been enjoyable and the food delectable. This B-Day visit was no different.I was disappointed and surprised to see an extra surcharge of 4% for back of house gratuity added. I deducted that forced gratuity from my typical 20% tip. As this is not customary in Indianapolis, it would be best to make every patron aware when reservations are made. This is the ONLY restaurant I've been charged this premium. If the "house" can't pay their kitchen team adequately from their gross receipts, they should charge more for the menu items. You might call me naive but our $220 dinner/$50 entrees (less tip) should easily afford the excellent back of the house team. Owners savings on the site, parking, the interior finish and screened pati dining should leave plenty of gross income after fair pay.
Ryan Crossley: Our service was not good at all and the food was SO MEDIOCRE. To start we asked to sit on the patio by the windows, but they sat us in the middle area even though no one was there. I had to ask our server the off menu specials which I shouldn't have to do. Tinker street is known for their off menu specials, and every table she served I heard the table ask as well.I ordered the mushroom hot pot, it tasted like hot water. No flavor at all. I added mushrooms to mine and they were 18 dollars extra. I wish my server would have told me because it was shocking when I got the billMy boyfriend got the pizza which had a really flavorful sauce but that was the only pro. He also got mushrooms added to the pizza because it was jusg cheese. Again 18 dollar charge.I got a spicy marg it was very good.I told my server it would have been nice if she would have told us the mushrooms added to the meal would have cost us 36 dollars.I was so disappointed with this place because I have heard nothing but great things. I will not be going back and I will never recommend anyone to go.

Nichole Kirk: Enjoyed a birthday dinner here with some friends. Everything was absolutely incredible! We ordered several appetizers, a bottle of wine, an entree for each of us, and dessert. The mushroom pierogis and the Korean fried mushrooms were my favorite apps from the night. I ordered a duck Parmesan, which was the special for the night. All of the food was phenomenal and the staff was lovely. Highly recommend Tinker Street for any special occasion, or just because you like amazing food!
Brock Holst: Our favorite place for special occasions or with special friends. Excellent wine list and large plate options have never disappointed us or our guests! The Gouper was outstanding.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Meghan Loughren: This is the perfect spot for a cozy, intimate vibe. I’ve never had bad service here. I’ve never had a poorly cooked or seasoned meal here. Their fish dishes are next level.

Melissa Dorsey: Always enjoy coming here. Love that the menu changes with new seasonal dishes. Great drinks.Recommended dishes Cheese & Charcuterie …More
Tolga Ercan: Always a five star experience. Food is excellent, drinks are great, service is prompt and friendly, atmosphere is cozy but comfortable. One of our favorite non-chain restaurants for a date night. This time we had the miso oysters, which are amazing! I then had the shrimp curry shellfish dish. It was more like a clam and mussel curry stew. I wasn't expecting that at all. I thought it would be more like a seafood curry dish with a thicker sauce. But I love steamed mussels so this was a good surprise. It was delicious. For dessert, if you have never tried it, try the donuts. You get 4 good sized donut holes and a very coffee tasting espresso sorbet on the side with chocolate sauce drizzled on the plate. The donuts are made in house and are possibly the best you will ever have. You really can't go wrong with it!One thing that I wasn't too excited about was the Pomelo cocktail. It was way too sweet. It is supposed to be a grapefruit vodka based cocktail but I could barely taste the bitterness of grapefruit from the sweetness. I still finished it because it tasted good but it just was not what I was prepared for at all. I feel like that needs to be made much less sweet or a warning put next to the description. :)

Christopher Fanton: I suggest doing the bone marrow shot, it's yummy.
Adam Scroggin: Love this restaurant in downtown Indy. The tomahawk pork chop was delicious. The octopus too. Our server Mike was great. Good guy and DJ. Will be back!Recommended dishes Lamb Shank …More
Brian Walker: I love Union 50. The food is top-notch and excellent. The restaurant itself is nicely appointed with a modernistic style. I had the duck, which is amazing. Lindsay helped me, and she was very attentive and charming.I'll always come back here. Impossible to go wrong.
Luis Lluberas: Fabulous service, tasty food, in a modern setting! We decided to follow Brandon's recommendations as he was very knowledgeable of the dishes offered and we were not disappointed! The lamb was very flavorful and tender as well as the tomahawk pork chop. A short drive from most hotels and convention center. Parking on premises. Reservations advised. Ample seating indoors and outdoor. Highly recommended
Bryan Hines: Big fan of this place. It’s a perfect spot for casual fine dining that isn’t too pretentious. The place is just a cool spot with great food. Charcuterie is a must purchase if you go.
Gurley78: Love this spot..food and drinks are great! Atmosphere great for date or just yo hang out.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Angela Cook: Visited Indy today from Cincinnati and went to Union 50 on a whim. They did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious and our server Khiry was awesome! We had the truffle fries, the duck and the lamb shank. We loved the atmosphere and will definitely be back on our next visit.
Tasha Elle: On a spur of the moment, we decided to grab a bite before our great summer shred and glutton shedding begins. Always diet starts tomorrow, right? Well, Union 50 proved to be a good bet for our last Eat-Out meal. I'm not fond of poutine, but I actually really like the pastrami poutine they have. Maybe it's because the amount of fries to toppings was well ratio-ed out. It wasn't toi dry or too soggy. Just perfect and it was yums. Everything was delicious. I'm a huge fan of duck and the duck duck dish was cooked perfectly. Tender. Tasty. Totally one of the best places to eat at Indy. And the service was great. Our server and the kitchen coursed everything properly. Pretty impressed with this place.
Laura Plunkett: The staff were wonderful and our waitress Alley was amazing. The appetizers and entrees were so delectable. Everything tantalized the pallet.Parking: Just as you expected.
Candice Bambrick: Me and my mom are not from Indianapolis and went here because the menu looked fantastic and I am glad we did! Not only was the food some of the best food we have ever had but the service was unmatched. Truly the best staff we have ever seen. Bravo! Will be back again!
Eswin Trujillo: First off, if you're concerned about COVID, this is a good spot. While it only has indoor seating, the seating is spread very far apart, well more than 6 feet, and everyone there seems to take it seriously. Second, the food was great and the price was reasonable (although I live in Chicago so maybe everywhere else seems cheap?). I highly, highly recommend the toast + jam, as it is raw ahi tuna on crispy bread. The scallops are also highly recommended, especially if you like spaetzle. Should I find myself in Indy again, it will be hard for me to want to eat somewhere else.
Cory Lyon: OutstandingFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Karen E Laine: I keep trying to like the food here, and maybe it's my palate that's the problem and not the food, but it all seems over done to me. There seem to be too many flavors added to each dish. This time, I ordered gnocchi, which the menu didn't mention was spicy (which I pay attention to because I don't enjoy overly spicy food), and traditionally isn't spicy, and it was too spicy for me to eat. Also, the menu said it was pan seared, but mine was charred. The truffle fries were a little limp and had too much truffle oil. The bread had char marks, which I know some people like, but I just don't. I like my bread to taste like bread, not charcoal. Our service was good: attentive, knowledgeable, timely. There are a lot of hard surfaces, so the space is noisy.
Keith F: Absolutely delicious!! My wife and I choose a new (to us) restaurant every month, with the criteria of being "an experience". Union 50 definitely delivered.Every morsel of food was devine; from our appetizer to our desserts, and everything in-between. Our server was a joy; as she was always ready to answer all of our questions, and give amazing recommendations. All the other servers as well could see my wife and I admiring the dishes as they came out, and would tip the plates a bit in our direction as they walked by with an explanation of what the dish was.Chef Dan, Sous Chef Roman, and the entire crew put on an excellent display of their talents. A clinic on flavor, teamwork, and excellence if you will. Highly impressed, inspired, and fulfilled.
paul powell: Awesome food great service nice atmosphere.
Blake Nicolas: Toast & Jam was amazing and very unique. Lamb shank was delicious. Will be back.
dj alphahouse (DJ Alpha): We had to wait, but we're glad we did, because it was well worth it! The service was fast and friendly, but the best part was the food... It was to die for!!! It was so good, we are definitely going back for more! Super impressed by the menu. The meatloaf is my favorite!

Milktooth: what do users think?
Jon Burd: As a business consultant and restauranteur, I often find a dozen things not to be liked about a restaurant. Little things fall through the cracks, are overlooked, and end up falling well outside the range of excellent. Milk tooth is an exception!Incredible food, simple menu, perfectly paired atmosphere and service, and no detail overlooked at this brunch place of perfection!Must try!!
Bing-Ze Lin: Tasty waffles and wings! Come early to have more options!

Dave Harlan: Not bad, but I’d heard a lot about it and think it doesn’t live up to its reputation. The taco was good, but not great.
Angellia Sánchez Pascual: Way overpriced... I couldn't believe for the price they charge something as simple as the glasses we were drinking from stank. Really unsatisfying experience.Food: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Paulette Pucciarelli: It was a decent little breakfast spot. Closes at 3pm. I had average bacon eggs and cappuccino. The cappuccino was delicious however the service wasn't so great. Great art and love the setup and decor of it. Maybe because it was close to closing that we didn't have the best service. Our waitress was nice but the staff behind the kitchen was not professional, almost seemed as if we were not welcome. I would try it again earlier in the day but it wouldn't be my most recommended brunch spot. Id rate the food 7/10
Bryn Foreman: Recommended dishes Grilled CheeseMore
Andres Lera: Long waiting time. Service wasn't good. The waitress was rude and slow. 18% automatic gratuity for a table of 2, 3.5% for credit card charge, and limited parking spots. Prices above average while quality of good is below average. Not recommended.
Jeana Kropfeld: The aesthetic of this place is super cute and fun. We got the barbacoa tacos which did not come out looking like tacos whatsoever they came rolled and very void of flavor. The coffee was incredibly bitter. Perhaps I didn’t order the correct thing . We waited 30 mins to be seated . Sat at a community table . I would say all in all it was overpriced for the taste of the food but the vibe is cute !

Drew Cookro: Community table seating, so hope you're not seated next to a sneezing toddler like we we're. Some elemyof the meal were great, others not so much (latke, slab bacon) we ordered bacon and eggs and a burger and some coffee left for $75. If I'm paying that much for brunch I'll take my own table. Go to another brunch spot is my advice.Food: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Jonathan Bove: First, the staff is very arrogant and doesn't deserve the included tip. Blah blah blah living wage is on the business. Tipping happens based on the service. Smugness gets no tips. Secondly, I hate paying an upcharge for using a credit card. Credit card is safer than carrying cash. I work around the country, carrying cash is out of the question. I won't go out of way to find an ATM for any restaurant. Restaurants get rid of this policy. Your food isn't that good. Also, why should a customer pay for the business on how it conducts doing business? Can't handle credit cards close up and do something else. Lastly, the food is underwhelming for the premium price on top of the extra credit card fee and tip expense. If I'm going to pay premium prices for breakfast then the food must shine. For two, it was nearly 80 bucks! Laughable for a breakfast. Let me stress this putting honey on something doesn't make it premium. You put all of that together and you have a customer feeling ripped off. Mediocre food, indifferent service, and extra charges, yikes! Save your money go elsewhere. I will never eat there again. Shame on me if there would be second time. Thankfully there will never be a second time.Parking: Parking is very limited and terrible.
Derek Chambliss: After having read the previous reviews, I had higher expectations. We waited for close to an hour before being seated only to receive rather small portions at pretty steep prices. The patty melt was definitely very good and I would recommend it, but the lemon poppyseed pancake was minuscule and way overpriced. Unfortunately, the value just isn’t there for this price point.
JustFollow Kenya (Mswhatleysworld): Gourmet brunch. Get artisan chef prepared meals in an urban style diner. On the cultural trail in the Indianapolis Fountain Square neighborhood.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Roger & Jan Smith: We were in Indy for a conference and loved the unique atmosphere and experience of milktooth. Delicious food. Worth the wait.
Joe Tyler: Cool place with unusual food options. Few glutenfree options. Best bacon and salad in the world! Everything tasted great. Glutenfree wife says salad is one of the best she has ever had.
David Mappes: The oddest brunch experience of my life. 5 or so years ago we heard this place was really great. Ended up moving out of IN, but always wanted to try it. Moved back & my wife & two friends form Chicago finally try it. Cool looking place & the food was good. However, the service was so weird. We waited 45 minutes. They try to sit us at bar stools. Fine for some, but my wife’s pregnant. We politely said could we please just wait for a table- then they seemed to hold a grudge after that. The hostess says yes but it will be 10 or 15 minutes more. She says people seem to just be sitting a long time. She also looks annoyed. Okay that’s worth it for us —but 25 minutes pass. We check in on the table. Ohh it will be 10-15 minutes. I’m like you said that 15 minutes ago. She’s like, “oh we can squeeze you in at that long table.” We accept that - happy. A table opens up a minute later they sat us there -great. My wife asks for a side of bacon, and says can we have the side basically as an appetizer. Server says ohh that’s an awesome idea of course! Our food comes out, but no bacon. We then ask about it. The lady says, “okay awesome!” 15-20 minute pass we have finished our food. Still no bacon. Someone asks if everything is good. We tell them about the bacon. They say “ohh you still haven’t gotten your bacon!” 2 minutes later she brings it to us and she says, “they swear they already served you bacon, but we will give it to you for free anyways.” Okay… kind of a weird thing to say. Then we get our check. We put our card out immediately, 10 minutes pass and no one takes the card. We walk up thinking maybe we are supposed to walk it up, they ask who our server was looking very inconvenienced. Then the server walks the card back & sets it down on the bar to the right of us and just glares our direction, but says nothing. Essentially more than 3 staff members were extremely out of it, dismissive, and borderline rude. I’m still confused if it was intentional or on accident. We all left feeling really weird about the experience. Maybe staff is new, but more so wonder if they were drunk or on something. Good food but not worth the annoyance of how the place was being ran.
Hannah Jackson: Tiny portions, outrageous prices, food and drinks did not taste good to any of us. Needless to say, our family was very disappointed and we will not return to Milktooth, nor recommend it to others. We really wanted to like this place, especially after the long wait with empty grumbly bellies. We left feeling regret and still hungry.

Vida: what do users think?
Toby Davis: This is touted as one of the best if not the best restaurant in Indy. Reservations backed up for months would seem to align with this statement. We love Cunningham Group and have never been disappointed. Provision has been our #1 Indy spot for a few years now, and only other Cunningham restaurants have come even close... until now. You know you're dining at a great establishment when every detail is meticulously thought out. We did the 4 course meal, and we each chose different items. And from the cauliflower to the scallop to the sablefish to the side breads, everything was better than anything you've had anywhere else. I typically gag at the smell of brusselsprouts, yet I ate and enjoyed the sprouts served with the ribeye. The scallop and sablefish were like butter, cooked to perfection, and I don't even know how they cooked the ribeye so perfectly. To top it off, Thomas was fantastic in tips and knowledge and also conversation. We need to visit Provision again soon just to compare, but we will be back to Vida many times.Vegetarian options: Just speak to your server.Kid-friendliness: Wouldn't recommend except for teaching kids about fine dining.Dietary restrictions: They carefully account for any restrictions.

Maggie Zehren: This was our second time at Vida. The first was a year ago and was fantastic. This time we were not quite as impressed. Service and our server were lovely, no problems there. Food was good though not quite as flavorful as last time. Instead of being served an amuse bouche like we had received last year and the tables around us received this time, we were served a sorbet in between our 2nd and 3rd courses, which was fine but the dessert I ordered also contained the same sorbet. Additionally, we never received any bread for the table, which we had really enjoyed the last time we were there. Maybe we needed to ask for it this time?

Iryna P: It was an unforgettable experience! Delicious food, the duck was to die for!!! Professional and knowledgeable staff. I will definitely come back again.Thank you to the Chef and staff.
Nicholas Musselwhite: Love their vibrant cocktail selections! The food is some of the best in Indy. This is more reserved for special occasions in my book. Love that it is part of the Cunningham group. If you can sit outside can have some noise with traffic, but really enjoyed the outside experience.
Jason Mazza: Vida, is definitely one of the very few upscale restaurants in Indianapolis. Everytime I go I am reminded how good it is. Must visit restaurant!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Ricotta Doughnuts …More

sheena vanhook: TOP FAVORITE restaurant in Indy for a date night or celebrating any occasion. My all time favorite dish is the FOIE GRAS. The RICOTTA DOUGHNUTS are also a top favorite. We always plan a full night dedicated to enjoying each dish with a wine pairing. The experience is worth the time and money. The quality you are receiving is worth the higher end price. Plan an evening and enjoy.Highly recommend
Jen Brown: I took my niece here as a treat during the Devour Indy festival. The restaurant and service was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. I took the waiters recommendation for the scallops and they were the best I've ever tasted. They even had several nonalcoholic cocktails on the menu which I always appreciate. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I'll be back!Parking: They have a very easy to use $10 valet parking. The entrance is on North Park Street. The valet was a very polite gentleman. 😊
Muhammad Khalifa: I think of this place as the Cunningham Restaurant Group's crown jewel (whether they intended it that way or not) and it remains one of the better eating destinations in Indy (and one of the only tasting-menu-focused ones). Well executed modern New American with a regularly evolving menu. While it's otherwise impossible to pick favorites, the hot ricotta doughnuts have a permanent home on the menu for good reason - do not miss them under any circumstances.
jean-sebastien delfosse: The place is super cozy. You immediately feel you are going to have a good time when you walk through the door. Food is very refined with dishes you don't get everyday (fois Gras, duck,etc...) and you get great advice when choosing the wine that would match best with your food.Congratulations to the teamWe will be back!
